Daniel Griffith is an associate with Westlake Legal Group. Mr. Griffith has practiced law since 2007. He is admitted to the Virginia State Bar and authorized to practice before all trial and appellate courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Griffith is a member of the Bench Bar Committee for the Loudoun General District Court. He also previously served as the defense bar representative on the Drug Court in the Loudoun County Circuit Court. While employed with the Indigent Defense Commission, Mr. Griffith educated and lectured investigators regarding constitutional issues related to searches and seizures.
Mr. Griffith’s practice focuses primarily on traffic and criminal defense. He has extensive experience in DWI and serious traffic defense. He has obtained numerous acquittals on such cases at bench and jury trials. Further, he has obtained dismissals of numerous other cases following successful pre-trial and post-trial motions. Mr. Griffith also has substantial trial and appellate experience with criminal felonies and misdemeanors of all types.
Mr. Griffith also handles cases involving contract interpretation/disputes, personal injury, and tort litigation.
Mr. Griffith received his bachelor of arts, magna cum laude, from Clemson University in 2004. He then received his juris doctor, cum laude, from the George Mason University School of Law in 2007. While at GMUSL, Mr. Griffith served on the Moot Court Board and as an editor for the Civil Rights Law Journal.
