AOC Sets a Record for Hypocrisy (With an Assist From Valerie Jarrett)
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) may have just set a time record for flip-flop hypocrisy.
Check what she tweeted about the Republicans fight for transparency and protesting the closed door ‘impeachment’ hearing.
There have been many aspects of the GOP’s little flash mob that have relied on mountains of entitlement and privilege, but them *asking* the police to be arrested is just…
Well, let’s just say my community would find it hard to understand why *anyone* would ask to be arrested. https://t.co/ez5IsocNm5

Is she kidding?
Getting arrested for the sake of a photo op is a staple of every leftist protest almost since leftist protests were invented.
We’re not sure exactly who/what she’s referencing when she says “my community” (other women from Westchester who were the daughters of architects?) but here’s a shot of her sister squad member, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, “taking the arrest” for the cause.

And let’s not forget this memorable moment, although we’re not sure it resulted in an arrest.

Valerie Jarrett, of all people chimed in, responding to AOC.

Far left/socialist community?
But just one day after Ocasio-Cortez claimed that no one would dare “ask for arrest,” she retweeted the show arrests of Ted Danson and Jane Fonda over climate change on Friday.
Fonda spoke last week how she would be protesting on Fridays and getting arrested to highlight the fight for climate change this month. Then after she solves climate change this month, she’ll leave D.C. and go home.

Danson declared himself Fonda’s new “trainee” and said that arrest “sharpens the mind.” He encouraged others to “come down and get arrested.” Because why not? It doesn’t matter that he gets arrested, but hey, why not encourage kids to get a record and possibly hurt their records and job prospects.
But guess that the show arrests of the incredibly wealthy Hollywood actors Ted Danson and Jane Fonda don’t qualify as “entitlement” and “privilege.”
Just the arrests of those fighting for transparency for the American people do.
