The YouTuber behind the popular channel “Hoovie’s Garage” was caught speeding in a brand new Lamborghini on Friday and reportedly donated a matching amount of the ticket to an officer’s fund.

Tyler Hoover told the officer from the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office that he had just purchased the car and did not have any insurance information or his license, The Wichita Eagle reported. He had just traded in a 2012 McLaren Mp4-12C for the Gallardo.

“I might be the first person in history to buy a Lamborghini because I wanted something slower so I didn’t get as many speeding tickets, but within 48 hours of owning this Lamborghini I got a ticket,” he said.

The paper reported that Hoover donated to the Honore Adversis Foundation. The report said “Hoovie’s Garage” has over 700,000 subscribers.

Teenagers push woman’s broken down car more than five miles to her home

Three Canadian teenagers have become viral heroes after they helped out a woman whose car had broken down.

Aeron McQuillin, 18, Bailey Campbell, 17, and Billy Tarbett, 15, were out on a late-night Tim Hortons run when they noticed the Chevy Cobalt emitting smoke at a nearby intersection.

The trio pushed the car off the road and assessed the problem to be a leak that allowed engine coolant and oil to mix. After the driver told them she couldn’t afford a tow truck and didn’t want to wake up her roommate, they took the matter into their own hands to make sure the woman’s car got to her destination.

“You boys ready for a push?,” McQuillin said when recapping the story on his Facebook page.

McQuillin went home to grab some water and music speakers to get the group pumped up before they began to push the vehicle toward the driver’s home, over five miles away.

Another bystander who happened upon the scene, Dan Morrison, drove behind the three teenagers in his Ford Escape, using his headlights to help illuminate the road during the trip.

The group faced plenty of obstacles during the two-hour journey, including a 900-foot high hill at the start of the push and a dead battery halfway through, Campbell told CNN. They had to recharge the battery before they could put the car back in neutral and continue.

They finally made it to the woman’s home, where Campbell said the motorist was thankful and amazed for their act of kindness. Morrison told CNN he and the driver thought the teens were crazy to offer to push the vehicle so far.

When McQuillin got up the next day, he didn’t expect the trio to become viral heroes.

We hope more people can learn from this situation and not be afraid to lend a helping hand to those in need.”

Police in Australia issued a warning after a gender reveal involving a driver doing a burnout went terribly wrong.

Queensland authorities released drone video on Tuesday of the event, which happened in Norwell in April 2018, indicating the child would be a boy.

THE WILDEST GENDER-REVEAL MOMENTS OF 2018

The driver is seen spinning the Holden Commodore’s tires, which were treated to cause blue smoke to billow out from them. After a few moments flames burst from underneath the car and black smoke replaces the blue.

Investigators released the video as a warning to people not to copy the stunt, 9 News reported. The driver was fined $1,000 and had his license suspended for six months.

A similar gender reveal that took place in April, in Silverdale, Australia, showed a blue Ford Falcon also revealing blue smoke as the driver performed donuts in a cul-de-sac. The man’s car was confiscated and he, two friends and the baby’s grandmother were charged with various violations after police found the video online.

Lee Iacocca, ‘father’ of Ford Mustang who helped save Chrysler from bankruptcy, dead at 94: reports

Father of the Ford Mustang and former chairman of Chrysler Lee Iacocca has died of natural causes at his home in Bel Air, Calif., his family said Tuesday. He was 94.

Iacocca, born in Allentown, Pa., on October 15, 1924 as the child of Italian immigrants, started working at Ford Motor Company in 1946 and is heralded as the leader of the team that created the first Mustang in 1964. He ascended to CEO of the company in 1970 but was fired by Henry Ford Jr. in 1978.

The auto mogul later slammed Ford, saying in his autobiography, “If a guy is over 25% jerk, he’s in trouble. And Henry was 95%.” Iacocca later reiterated the same sentiments to Time magazine in 2001, saying Ford was cruel, crude and paranoid.

THE 2020 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT500 WILL COST A LOT

The famed businessman moved on to Chrysler Corp. in 1978 and became the CEO a year later, pulling the company out of bankruptcy after taking it over. He successfully persuaded the federal government to provide the company a $1.2 billion loan in 1979 and made major cuts to the workforce, slashing wages, including his own which he shrunk to $1 a year and closing plants. He also introduced fuel-efficient cars and the minivan.

His efforts were successful and Chrysler made a comeback, profiting $20 million.

In 1983, Iacocca announced that Chrysler, which had become a part of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, had begun paying back the $1.2 billion in government-backed loans that helped save the company, a feat he was able to accomplish seven years early.

Iacocca became a household figure when he appeared in a number of Chrysler TV commercials with the catchy slogan daring American consumers; “if you can find a better car, buy it.”

Google Maps sends dozens of drivers down muddy dirt road

They do say patience is a virtue.

About 100 cars got stuck on a muddy dirt road Colorado on Sunday when Google Maps diverted traffic around the scene of an accident near Denver International Airport, where many of the drivers were headed.

Recent rain had turned the unpaved section of E. 64th Ave into a sloppy mess, and several cars got stuck tying up traffic, Fox 31 News reported.

One driver of an all-wheel-drive model, Connie Monsees, who was able to get free said the route was suggested as an alternative that should’ve reduced travel time from 43 minutes to 23 minutes. She gave two other people a lift to the airport.

“We take many factors into account when determining driving routes, including the size of the road and the directness of the route,” Google said in a statement on the incident. “While we always work to provide the best directions, issues can arise due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather. We encourage all drivers to follow local laws, stay attentive, and use their best judgment while driving.”

According to Denver 7, it is privately owned and maintained, but local authorities are not clear if it was supposed to be closed to public traffic.

Jeep Cherokee tops 2019 Cars.com American-Made Index

The Jeep Cherokee is the most American-made car you can buy for the second year running, according to the latest report from Cars.com.

The annual study calculates the total economic impact the production of a vehicle has on the local economy using a formula that includes where its parts are sourced from, where it is built and how many jobs it creates.

Westlake Legal Group cherokee Jeep Cherokee tops 2019 Cars.com American-Made Index Gary Gastelu fox-news/us/personal-freedoms/proud-american fox-news/auto fox news fnc/auto fnc caef63ba-7270-5de8-bd75-99ba28713b5a article

The Jeep Cherokee was updated for 2019. (Jeep)

Some of this data lumps U.S. and Canadian parts content into one pool, but the study attempts to offset this by only considering vehicles built exclusively in the U.S. and giving weight to the final assembly location of engines and transmissions, two major components. Low volume, fleet-only and heavy duty models are excluded from the report.

The Belvidere, Illinois-built Cherokee is followed on the list by the Honda Odyssey, Honda Ridgeline and Honda Passport, which are all manufactured at the same plant in Lincoln, Alabama. While Acura MDX (non-hybrid), Honda Pilot, Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon and Acura RDX round out the top 10.

Of the top 15 vehicles, nine are from foreign brands (Honda and Toyota). The F-150 pickup is Ford’s only entry on the list, while none of Tesla’s California-built models made it, due in part to their high foreign parts content.

Along with the index, Cars.com also conducted a survey that asked consumers how important buying an American car is to them, and the responses differed significantly by age. According to the results, 61 percent of car shoppers age 18-34 said they cared if the car they buy benefited the U.S. economy, compared to 71 percent of customers age 35-54. Cars.com’s analysis of the results suggest that this is due to the fact that younger Americans are much more likely to have grown up in a home that owned vehicles from foreign brands.

Here is the full Top 15 list:

1 Jeep Cherokee Belvidere, Ill.

2 Honda Odyssey Lincoln, Ala.

3 Honda Ridgeline Lincoln, Ala.

4 Honda Passport Lincoln, Ala.

5 Chevrolet Corvette Bowling Green, Ky.
