A few birds in London got some serious face time with a traffic camera this week.

Transport for London shared a few snapshots of the avian duo on their Traffic News Twitter account Wednesday.

Not only did the office name the birds Graeme and Steve, but they also joked that the pair had joined their ranks.

“Our cameras usually give us a bird’s eye view of traffic across London, but we’d like to thank our new colleagues Graeme and Steve for helping out at beak times,” TfL Traffic News tweeted.

Earlier in the week, the office shared more sightings of birds stationed at their camera, including a video from their “reporter” who they said was situated near the Blackwall Tunnel.

New Jersey ‘pooperintendent’ who defecated on another high school’s field sues police over mug shot release

A former New Jersey superintendent who pleaded guilty to defecating on another high school’s track field last May sued the police department for releasing his mug shot, claiming the agency’s actions smeared his reputation and “altered his life forever.”

Thomas Tramaglini, who resigned as superintendent of the Kenilworth schools in July, filed a lawsuit Tuesday stating Holmdel police violated his constitutional rights when officers took the mug shot and released it to media outlets following the summonses that were issued against him in May.

At the time, Holmdel police announced in a Facebook post that Tramaglini faced lewdness, littering and defecating in public charges after human feces were found on the Holmdel High School’s track and football field “on a daily basis.” The former superintendent was unmasked as the “mystery pooper” when surveillance video captured him relieving himself on the track.

SCHOOL ‘POOPERINTENDENT’ TO RECEIVE $100G FROM DISTRICT, REPORTS SAY

Tramaglini’s case received national attention and earned him the unfortunate nickname of “pooperintendent.” He said in the lawsuit Tuesday that the police department’s “unauthorized, intentional, reckless, malicious, and unlawful conduct” led to the negative publicity that damaged his reputation.

“Nearly a year after his ordeal began, today Dr. Tramaglini fights back against the police misconduct that has altered his life forever,” attorney Matthew Adams said Wednesday. “He is severely underemployed and is fighting for any semblance of normalcy he can create for himself and his family.”

NJ EX-SUPERINTENDENT ADMITS TO POOPING ON A NEARBY HIGH SCHOOL’S GROUNDS

Tramaglini eventually pleaded guilty to a charge of defecating in public and paid a $500 fine. The two other charges were dismissed.

Tramaglini, who reportedly received more than $100,000 after negotiating a separation agreement with Kenilworth Public Schools, now works outside the education field, his attorney said.

Adams argued that state law prevents police from taking and releasing mug shots of people charged with low-level offenses, liked the one Tramaglini pleaded guilty to. In a letter he sent to the state attorney general’s office in February seeking a probe, Adams wrote that a review of township arrest reports involving similar municipal ordinances violations since 2007 revealed no instances in which mug shots were released.

This good boy ended up costing his owners hundreds of dollars after literally eating the dough.

Ozzie, a 9-year-old labradoodle, ended up having to be rushed the vet on Monday after his owners in the United Kingdom discovered he helped himself to an envelope full of cash that was pushed through their letterbox.

“Someone had owed us money and popped it through the letterbox for us, that’s how Ozzie got hold of it,” Judith Wright told Sky News.

A spokesperson for the vet told Sky News that owners can expect to pay £130, or around $170, to induce vomiting in a dog.

“It’s been an expensive Monday for Ozzie’s owners,” the group posted to Facebook on Monday along with a photo of Ozzie and the thrown-up cash. Besides the money, Ozzie also tossed up a plastic money bag and clip.

Call it a freak accident or pure bad luck.

An Arizona mother suffered more than 30 bee stings Monday after a gust of wind blew a beehive off a tree, causing it to land on her head.

The woman, who was not identified, told AZFamily.com she was walking to Carminati Elementary School in Tempe to pick up her son when the beehive fell on her head.

The mother said she was stung on her head, shoulders, arms and fingers. She rushed into her house to take a Benadryl and shower before being taken to the hospital to have her injuries checked out.

“I’m happy that I’m not allergic, I’m glad it didn’t happen to somebody who was [or my son], so I’m OK with it happening to me,” the woman told AZFamily.com.

A week after he warned Canada to take back garbage it shipped to the Philippines years ago, Filipino President Rodrigo Duterte is threatening to dump the tons of trash on the North American country’s beaches.

Duterte last Tuesday threatened to “declare war” against Canada within a week if it failed to remove the garbage that was dumped in Manila. In a speech in Davao City on Sunday, the president gave the Great White North an ultimatum.

CANADA-PHILIPPINES TRASH WAR: WHO WOULD WIN IF DUTERTE ACTUALLY FOLLOWED THROUGH WITH HIS THREAT?

“We will send them back to your shores if you don’t get that (back). And the President last night, he said that, throw them to your beach. Totoo ‘yun. Galit siya (That’s true. He’s angry),” Salvador Panelo, a spokesperson for the president said, according to a news release published by state media outlet Philippine News Agency.

Panelo said that both of Duterte’s comments — about starting a war with Canada and dumping its garbage on its beaches — are “figures of speech,” and that the former was “an expression of outrage.”

“I don’t think any country would want to trigger another world war because all of us will be annihilated,” Panelo said, according to the agency.

Canada shipped more than 100 containers of household trash, including plastic bottles and bags, newspapers and used adult diapers to the Philippines from 2013 to 2014. Officials have said the shipments of waste were incorrectly declared by a private firm as recyclable plastic scraps.

A man who applied for a job at a store in Wyoming allegedly stole from the shop twice on the same day, according to investigators.

The unidentified 36-year-old man visited Sportsman’s Warehouse in Gillette on Friday and bought some items with a rewards card, but did not pay for a pair of sunglasses and ammunition while he was there, the Gillette News Record reported.

A new survey has found that Americans are among the most negative people on the planet.

NFL PLAYER INFURIATES MARVEL FANS AFTER TWEETING ‘AVENGERS: ENDGAME’ SPOILERS

Gallup’s latest update on the world’s emotional state reported that 55 percent of Americans said they experienced a lot of stress in 2018, one of the highest rates out of the 143 countries polled and well above the global average of 35 percent.

The U.S. trailed only Greece (59 percent), the Philippines (58 percent) and Tanzania (57 percent) on the stress table and is tied with Iran, Albania and Sri Lanka at 55 percent.

The poll also reported that 45 percent of Americans said they felt worried a lot, and more than one in five, 22 percent of Americans said they felt angry a lot.

And according to Gallup, the economy’s not the problem, as the survey found the levels of negative emotions are even higher than during the Great Recession.

“The answer to whether money truly buys happiness is still far from being understood, but this report gives global thinkers an idea of who is living the best and worst lives in the world,” wrote Jon Clifton, Gallup’s global managing partner in a preface to the report.

The report also found that 64 percent of Americans aged between 15 and 29 said they were stressed a lot and exactly 50 percent of Americans in that age group said they were worried a lot. The numbers were slightly higher among those aged between 30 and 49, with 65 percent in that cohort saying they were stressed a lot, and 52 percent saying they were worried a lot.

Thirty-two percent of Americans 15-29 said they were angry a lot in 2018, while 25 percent of Americans aged 30-49 said they were angry a lot last year.

Traffic was halted on a Michigan roadway Thursday night after $30,000 in cash fell off the back of a truck and the paper currency went flying all over the road, according to reports.

Now police are hoping that any motorists or witnesses who stopped to scoop up some of the money for themselves will do the right thing and return it.

“Anyone that picked up money is asked to turn it in at the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety,” Jeff Hawke, director of the department, wrote in a Facebook post.

WOMAN REUNITED WITH $10G SHE LOST ON NEW YORK CITY SUBWAY

According to the Detroit Free Press, a driver had accidentally left the cash in a box on the bumper of his truck and driven off north on Beacon Boulevard in Grand Haven, sending the bills scattering. Grand Haven is a city of about 11,000 residents along the eastern shore of Lake Michigan.

A portion of the money, $2,470, was immediately retrieved by some witnesses and responding police, the Free Press reported. But other people grabbed fistfuls of dollars and fled.

The arriving officers closed the roadway temporarily until all the remaining cash in the area was collected.

On Saturday the public safety department posted on Facebook that several more people had turned in money Friday.

Two teens turned in $630 and a woman turned in $3,880, according to the post.

“We commend you for your honesty!!” the post read.

Every year the young men showing up to enter the pros at the NFL Draft dress in increasingly crazy styles.

But, Michigan linebacker Devin Bush may have turned the most heads in the fashion parade, showing up in what amounted to a black and white space pirate suit.

Naturally, it got clowned online.

Bush was drafted by Pittsburgh, the 10th overall pick, and most online just wanted to know who was his tailor, and what were they thinking.

Quarterback Kyler Murray, Oklahoma’s dynamic Heisman Trophy winner, was the first pick in the NFL draft, going to Arizona, and he showed up wearing a dark pink suit.

As for bypassing baseball, Murray had no qualms about the decision.

“I love playing multiple sports. I grew up playing multiple sports,” he said. “I just think there’s no reason to limit yourself to one sport. I love to compete, so it wasn’t a big deal for me.”

A large, flightless exotic bird likened to a ‘living dinosaur’ and infamous for killing its 75-year-old owner in Florida this month is back on the market.

The razor-clawed cassowary is one of among 100 exotic animals from the departed owner’s estate going up for auction.

Gulf Coast Livestock Auction said in a Facebook post the auction of the killer cassowary is in accordance with the last wishes of Marvin Hajos.

“One of Marvin’s wishes were his animals be sold at auction as soon as possible,” the group said. “This is an absolute auction and complete dispersal of his animal collection.”

The auction is to be held Saturday at noon and is billed as featuring “rare, odd and unusual breeds.” Members of the news media, in addition to video recording devices, are banned from the event.

“Anyone seen video taping in any capacity will be deemed trespassing and will be escorted out by security,” a post by the group reads. “Your video equipment may or may not be confiscated until all video recordings are distroyed (sic). Please do not comprise (sic) our position.”

Gulf Coast Livestock Auction Manager Jammi Wilson told the Gainesville Sun the business has all the licenses to proceed with the auction.

“I don’t want to talk about it,” she reportedly told the paper before hanging up. “It’s really no one’s business.”

Alachua County Sheriff’s officials said Hajos had fallen April 12 when the bird attacked him. First responders rushed Hajos to a hospital, but he died from his injuries.

“Initial information indicates that this was a tragic accident for Mr. Hajos and his family,” department spokesperson Lt. Brett Rhodenizer told the Gainesville Sun.

Cassowaries are similar to emus, standing up to 6 feet tall and weighing up to 130 pounds.

“The cassowary is rightfully considered the most dangerous bird in the world,” according to the San Diego Zoo. “Each 3-toed foot has a dagger-like claw on the inner toe that is up to 4 inches long! The cassowary can slice open any predator or potential threat with a single swift kick.”

The animals being auctioned include two double-wattled cassowaries and five ring-tailed and ruffled lemurs.

Fish and Wildlife spokesman Robert Klepper said buyers must be licensed to legally possess the animals.

Fox News’ Robert Gearty and The Associated Press contributed to this report.
