Trump Organization executive vice president Eric Trump said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and her party’s impeachment of his father will ultimately end in his reelection this coming November.

“Pelosi sounds crazy every time she speaks,” Trump told Jesse Watters on Saturday’s “Watters’ World.” “She’ll actually go down as the worst Speaker, arguably, in the history of our country  — and [Democrats] keep on pushing this nonsense. And it’s going to get my father re-elected. Honestly, I hope they keep going.”

TRUMP HONORS LSU TIGERS AT WHITE HOUSE

Trump said he visited central Ohio earlier this week and spoke to many voters who urged him to tell the president to continue to work on the American people’s behalf while Democrats focus on impeachment.

“This impeachment thing is walking my father into 2020. I mean it’s — the amount of money we’re raising in the campaign,” said the younger Trump, who added that Ohioans told him his father was “killing it” and that Democrats’ actions are “a disgrace.”

Eric Trump added that Democrats are showing they do not have the pulse of Middle America.

“They don’t know the sentiment of this country, but they’re preaching to everybody because they went to Harvard and they went to these nice schools,” he said. “And they miss it every single time.”

The president’s second son also reacted to this week’s arrest of onetime Stormy Daniels attorney and vocal Trump critic Michael Avenatti by Internal Revenue Service agents.

“CNN was begging him to run for president of the United States and now he’s going to jail,” he remarked. “I mean, the hypocrisy of these people.”

Eric Trump: Reports that Joe’s brother ‘leveraged’ family name show ‘the Bidens are a business’

Reports that Joe Biden‘s brother “leveraged” the family name for personal gain, coming months after similar allegations against the former vice president’s son Hunter, are proof the famous Delaware family is “a business,” Eric Trump said Friday.

Trump, an executive vice president at the Trump Organization, told Laura Ingraham on “The Ingraham Angle” that an ABC News report about Frank Biden is another example of untoward activity utilizing the family’s famous patriarch’s name and position.

In other words, the Biden family has done the opposite of the Trumps, he said.

“They all get into business when their father becomes vice president, or their brother becomes vice president,” Trump said. “We get out of business when our father becomes [president]. It’s kind of interesting.

“For the Bidens, this is a business. There’s no question it became a business. You see his brother (Frank) doing it.”

In 2009, while the eldest Biden, 77, was vice president, Frank Biden held a meeting with a business executive at a coffee shop in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., where he agreed to lead a new charter school organization, ABC News reported.

Frank Biden, according to the network, earned “hundreds of thousands of dollars over a five-year period,” and “unabashed[ly]” touted his last name as a “tremendous asset,” and claimed that Bidens “tak[e] care of people who need help.” The charter school organization, ABC reported, was later hit by “claims of mismanagement.”

Turning to the former vice president’s own career, Trump remarked that Joe Biden served in the Senate for more years than Eric Trump has been alive. Biden, a New Castle County councilman in 1972, defeated Sen. J. Caleb Boggs, R-Del., and served in the Senate until around the time of President Obama’s 2009 inauguration.

“This guy has a lot of problems, aside from the fact that he lacks charisma,” Trump said. “Again, he hasn’t exactly been a good mouthpiece for [Democrats] because he keeps on stumbling and going off on these terrible rants.”

He said that former President John F. Kennedy would not recognize today’s “radical” Democratic Party.

“Quite frankly, I think they’re handing my father the win.”

Eric Trump blasts Democrats for ‘ironic’ claims of president using Iran as ‘distraction’ from impeachment

It’s “ironic” that some Democrats in Congress claim President Trump is using recent hostilities between the U.S. and Iran as a “distraction” from his impeachment proceedings, according to Eric Trump.

The president’s 36-year-old son, who serves as an executive vice president of the Trump Organization, made the observation Tuesday night during an appearance on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle.”

Following last week’s airstrike in Baghdad that killed Iranian terrorist Gen. Qassem Soleimani — and the ensuing reaction from Tehran — several Democratic lawmakers, including some 2020 presidential candidates, criticized the White House.

IRAN LAUNCHES 15 BALLISTIC MISSILES INTO IRAQ TARGETING US, COALITION FORCES, OFFICIALS SAY

Trump was “trying to distract from the news of the day,” U.S. Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md., claimed, while presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., regarded the idea as a “reasonable question.”

U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., a former chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, also claimed Trump was acting in his own “self-interest” rather than putting America first when he ordered the drone attack against Soleimani.

But Eric Trump dismissed those arguments Tuesday.

“Don’t you find the word ‘distraction’ so ironic?,” Trump asked host Laura Ingraham, in response to the Democrats’ assertions about his father.

Trump told Ingraham it was the Democrats who have tried to distract from every political and policy victory the president has notched since taking office.

“The only thing that the Democrats have been trying to do is distract,” he said, “whether it be [from] the Russia investigation, the impeachment hoax, everything else they do, when the fact is that this country has the greatest economy we’ve ever seen, we’ve the lowest unemployment we’ve ever seen, we’ve the best numbers, the best consumer confidence. We’re leading the world in just about every metric.

“It is so ironic that now they are the ones coming out and saying somebody is trying to distract.”

Trump said other countries have been “jealous” of the American economy and America’s standing in the world.

“[My father] is doing a great job for this nation,” he added.

Last month the U.S. House of Representatives, along party lines, approved two articles of impeachment against President Trump, on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. But House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has not yet passed the approved articles to the Senate for adjudication.

Eric Trump said he is enjoying watching Pelosi “squirm,” and predicted the self-described “master legislator” from San Francisco will lose her political and Constitutional battle with the president — whether she passes the impeachment articles to the Senate or not.

“If she sends them over, she loses. If she doesn’t send them over, she loses,” he said.

He suggested Pelosi had to follow through with holding an impeachment inquiry to avoid a mutiny by the more progressive members of the House Democratic caucus, who had demanded such a probe.

Ivanka Trump indicates she might not serve in White House if father reelected

White House adviser Ivanka Trump, also the president’s oldest daughter, wouldn’t commit to serving in the White House if her father is reelected in 2020, indicating that her presence in the administration was dependent on the needs of her family.

Her comments came during an interview with “Face The Nation,” where CBS anchor Margaret Brennan asked Trump about staying in the administration.

“I am driven first and foremost by my kids and their happiness — so that’s always going to be my top priority, and my decisions will always be flexible enough to ensure that their needs are being considered first and foremost. So, they will really drive that answer for me,” she said in an interview set to air on Sunday.

Both Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, aided her father’s campaign and have served in the president’s administration since he took office in 2017. The couple has three children — Arabella, Theodore and Joseph — but each has managed to take on major policy priorities within the Trump administration.

IVANKA TRUMP DEFENDS HER ROLE IN FATHER’S ADMINISTRATION, PUSHES JOBS AGENDA

During a Fox News interview in September, Trump discussed how she worked to advance her father’s agenda on manufacturing and job training.

“The convening function within government is critical,” she told Fox News host Steve Hilton at the time. “And it’s something that I bring — and probably because I came from the private sector, I realize the efficiency, the nimbleness, the solutions that the private sector brings to every challenge that is out there, whether it’s innovation or job creation.”

Critics have questioned her role in the administration and conservatives, in particular, suspected that both she and her husband secretly opposed aspects of the president’s agenda.

Trump also told Brennan that she was humbled to serve her country in the White House.

“The day I walk into the West Wing and I don’t feel a shiver up my spine is the day I’ve been here too long,” she said. “And I still, every day, I feel a tremendous humbling and sense of privilege that I’m able to do the work that I came to Washington to do, that the president [has] empowered me.”

“And I feel just incredibly grateful to be able to give back to a country that’s given me so much — and I’m doing my very best,” she added.

Ivanka Trump says impeachment has ‘energized’ her father — and his 63M supporters

In a new interview, White House senior adviser Ivanka Trump says this week’s “purely partisan” impeachment of her father by the House of Representatives has “energized” him and “his 63 million-plus voters.”

“In fact, the only thing bipartisan was the vote against proceeding forward,” the 38-year-old first daughter tells CBS “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan in a teaser trailer release Thursday night. The full conversation will air Dec. 29.

When asked about the mood of President Trump following the impeachment process, she added, “He said it didn’t even feel like he was being impeached.”

“It is pretty unprecedented that support for impeachment has decreased over time as more information was presented to the American people. It’s decreased, not increased,” she said.

“So with all of this time spent, with all of these witnesses who didn’t have firsthand knowledge, with all of these people that have been paraded in front of the American people, support for this action has decreased. The impeachment process is set to move to the Republican-controlled Senate, where Trump’s allies are likely to vote for acquittal.

“The View” co-hosts were indignant over President Trump’s comments about former congressman John Dingell, D-Mich., but also made sure to criticize the president’s family members over their silence on the issue.

“The Be Best, anti-bullying crap — I don’t want to hear any more from anybody,” co-host Meghan McCain said, referring to First Lady Melania Trump’s anti-cyber bullying campaign.

“But I don’t want to hear it from Ivanka, I don’t want to hear it from Melania. Until you get him in line when it comes to disparaging people … when you are disparaging widows and people who have served the country and war heroes who have passed — again, I know something about it — it is, until you get them in line, you are complicit in this as well,” she added.

Co-host Sunny Hostin similarly remarked that she would “love to see some energy from Melania Trump.”

“You’re not gonna,” co-host Joy Behar responded.

MEGHAN MCCAIN TELLS IVANKA AND JARED TO SPEAK UP AFTER TRUMP RALLY: ‘WHERE ARE YOU?’

The first lady has long come under fire for the apparent hypocrisy of pushing an anti-cyberbullying campaign while her husband attacks people on Twitter. She also received scrutiny for criticizing attacks on her teenage son Barron, but not her husband’s attack on 16-year-old Greta Thunberg.

Trump lodged his attack during a Wednesday rally in Michigan after the House of Representatives voted to impeach him. He took special aim at Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Mich., the former congressman’s wife, after she voted to impeach him.

“Debbie Dingell, that’s a real beauty,” Trump said to a rapt crowd that booed the mention of Dingell’s name. The president said he gave the late Dingell the “A+ treatment” after he died last February and his wife had called him to say “it’s the nicest thing that’s ever happened, thank you so much. John would be so thrilled. He’s looking down.”

On Thursday, Rep. Dingell told Fox News’ Sandra Smith that the comment made her “sad.”

“I was already having a hard time with this holiday, and the comment that he made was just — it made me sad,” she said. “But I’m going to keep doing my job and I’m going to work with Republicans and Democrats, as I always do.”

She added that “compromise isn’t a dirty word,” and “we need to listen to each other” and “respect each other.”

“Treat each other with dignity and respect and you can get things done,” she stated.

The White House is pushing back against claims that First Lady Melania Trump is being hypocritical for criticizing attacks on her teenage son Barron, but not her husband’s attack on 16-year-old Greta Thunberg

White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said Friday that Barron was in a different category from Thunberg because she’s a climate activist “who travels the world giving speeches.”

Grisham’s statement came one day after President Trump attacked TIME Magazine’s decision to dub Thunberg “Person of the Year.”

“So ridiculous,” Trump tweeted. “Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”

MEGHAN MCCAIN: TIME’S ‘PERSON OF THE YEAR’ SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE WHISTLEBLOWER, NOT GRETA THUNBERG

After Trump’s attack, some accused Melania Trump of hypocrisy given that she had just defended her son Barron against a Stanford University law professor who mentioned him during a House Judiciary Committee impeachment hearing.

“A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics. Pamela Karlan, you should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it,” the first lady said in response to a quip by Pamela Karlan.

TIME NAMES GRETA THUNBERG ITS 2019 PERSON OF THE YEAR

The first lady frequently receives criticism over the apparent irony in her fronting the “Be Best” anti-cyber-bullying campaign given her husband’s habit of mocking political opponents and others on Twitter.

“It is no secret that the president and first lady often communicate differently — as most married couples do,” Grisham said.

Former first lady Michelle Obama encouraged Thunberg while traveling in Vietnam this week, saying, “don’t let anyone dim your light,”

Mrs. Obama added: “Like the girls I’ve met in Vietnam and all over the world, you have so much to offer us all. Ignore the doubters and know that millions of people are cheering you on.”

Thunberg responded to Trump’s attack by changing her Twitter profile description to describe herself as a “teenager working on her anger management problem.”

House Judiciary Committee member Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., grilled three of the four impeachment panel witnesses for their past support for Democratic candidates, including Hillary Clinton, and admonished one for making a joke at the expense of the teenage son of President Trump.

Gaetz began his allotted five minutes of question time by responding to the previous questioner, House Democratic Caucus Chair Hakeem S. Jeffries, D-N.Y., who noted that Americans had elected a Democrat majority in the House to serve as a check on Trump.

“The will of the American people also elected Donald Trump to be president of the United States in the 2016 election, and there’s one party that can’t seem to get over it,” Gaetz said, adding that unlike Jeffries’ caucus, Republicans haven’t focused all of their resources on attempting to remove the top official in the opposing party, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

“Frankly, we’d love to govern with you,” he added.

Turning to the professors, he asked UNC-Chapel Hill Professor Michael Gerhardt to confirm that he donated to President Barack Obama.

“My family did, yes,” Gerhardt responded.

Shifting his attention to Harvard Law Professor Noah Feldman, Gaetz noted the educator has written several articles that portray Trump in a negative light.

Mar-a-Lago ad belongs in impeachment file,” Gaetz said, repeating the title of an April 2017 piece Feldman wrote for Bloomberg Opinion.

Gaetz further pressed Feldman, asking him: “Do you believe you’re outside of the political mainstream on the question of impeachment?”

Responding to Gaetz, Feldman said impeachment is warranted whenever a president abuses their power for personal gain or when they “corrupt the democratic process.” The professor added he was an “impeachment skeptic” until the July 25 call between Trump and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.

After the exchange, Gaetz turned to Stanford Law Professor Pamela Karlan and challenged her on reported four-figure donations to Clinton, Obama and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.

“Why so much more for Hillary than the other two?” he added, smiling.

The Florida lawmaker went on to criticize Karlan for a remark she made while answering an earlier question by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas.

Karlan had told Jackson Lee that there is a difference between what Trump can do as president and the powers of a medieval king.

“The Constitution says there can be no titles of nobility, so while the president can name his son ‘Barron’, he can’t make him a baron.”

Gaetz fumed at the remark, saying it does not lend “credibility” to her argument.

“When you invoke the president’s son’s name here, when you try to make a little joke out of referencing Barron Trump… it makes you look mean, it makes you look like you are attacking someone’s family: the minor child of the president of the United States.”

White House makes patriotism theme of Christmas

The theme of this Christmas is patriotism at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The halls of the White House are incorporating red and blue into the traditional holiday green, adding a timeline of American design, innovation and architecture and studding a Christmas tree with the American flag.

The traditional gingerbread White House is sharing its stage with American landmarks including the Statue of Liberty and Golden Gate Bridge.

The gingerbread White House, built from 200 pounds of gingerbread and slathered in 25 pounds of royal icing and 35 pounds of chocolate, showcases the South Portico, including a staircase made using angel hair, fettuccine and spaghetti.

The popular display also features models of some of the nation’s most famous landmarks, including Mount Rushmore, St. Louis’ Gateway Arch, the Alamo, the Liberty Bell and the Statue of Liberty, along with the Golden Gate Bridge and the Space Needle.

The East Colonnade of the White House is lined with double rows of see-through panels etched with more than 60 examples of American design, innovation and architecture, ranging from the Woolworth Building in New York City to the Space Needle in Seattle.

A tree dedicated to Gold Star families that lost an immediate relative during military service stands at the beginning of the hallway while a tree decorated with the Trump family ornament — an American flag this year — glistens at the end of the colonnade.

East Room decorations are inspired by the U.S. flag and feature gilded eagle Christmas tree toppers, mirrored stars and red and blue ribbons. In the State Dining Room, at the opposite end of the hallway, the decor continues to showcase American design.

The Blue Room is again commanded by a towering tree, an 18 ½-foot Douglas fir from a Pennsylvania farm, decorated with flowers representing every state and territory.

The Red Room is decorated with games, including trees made of White House playing cards bearing the president and first lady’s signatures.

Melania Trump cheered and jeered by Baltimore students during speech

Melania Trump received a “mixed reception” Tuesday at a Baltimore youth event meant to raise awareness of opioid abuse, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Trump was both cheered and booed by the crowd of middle school and high school students after she was introduced by Jim Wahlberg, the brother of actor Mark Wahlberg, at the B’More Youth Summit on Opioid Awareness. The Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation partially sponsored the event.

Wahlberg tried to settle the crowd by asking: “If you have lost somebody you love or somebody who you cared about to an overdose, please stand up.”

However, the Associated Press reported the audience remained noisy throughout the first lady’s five-minute address. At one point, Mrs. Trump interrupted her remarks to say, “Hello, everyone,” before continuing.

“Your future will be determined by the choices you make,” the first lady told the crowd. “Using drugs will only slow you down.”

“I hope that the knowledge you gain here will help you tackle the tough decisions you may face so that you can lead healthy and drug-free lives,” Trump added.

In a statement released later Tuesday, the first lady said: “We live in a democracy and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the fact is we have a serious crisis in our country and I remain committed to educating children on the dangers and deadly consequences of drug abuse.”

The cool reception follows a clash earlier this year between late Maryland U.S.Rep. Elijah Cummings and President Trump, who criticized the Democrat’s district as a “rodent-infested mess” where “no human being would want to live.” Cummings replied that government officials must stop making “hateful, incendiary comments” that distract the nation from its real problems.

The president gave a speech in Baltimore in September and was met by protesters.
