Limbaugh on impeachment, jobs report: Trump has achieved ‘peace and prosperity,’ Dems have nothing but ‘hatred’

House Democrats don’t care about the needs of the American people because their hatred for President Trump is blinding, conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh said Friday.

Appearing on “Fox & Friends” with hosts Pete Hegseth, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade, Limbaugh said that Democrats have “sacrificed every bit of concern for the American people” in their efforts to impeach the president.

On Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that Democrats will proceed with articles of impeachment against President Trump, declaring that the president’s conduct “leaves us no choice but to act.”

DOES PELOSI HAVE THE VOTES FOR IMPEACHMENT?

Her announcement comes after a heated House Judiciary Committee hearing Wednesday featuring four law professors — most of them notably Democrat-invited witnesses who presented arguments for impeachment.

Pelosi claimed the facts are now “uncontested” that Trump “abused his power for his own personal political benefit at the expense of our national security” by allegedly using aid as leverage to seek an investigation of Joe Biden and his son Hunter from Ukraine.

However, the Trump administration and Republicans say the president did nothing wrong.

Trump accused Democrats of trying to impeach him over “NOTHING” and warned that this impeachment could set a dangerous precedent in the future. Limbaugh said Democrats are motivated by one thing — hatred of Trump.

“Democrats are wandering aimlessly and being propelled by one thing, you guys. You’re watching it. You watched it with the three so-called expert witnesses. We are watching pure, raw, hatred. They hate the man and they hate the people who elected him. They hate him because he beat them,” Limbaugh explained.

He told the “Friends” hosts that Democrats have “not a shred of evidence for any allegation they have made for three-and-a-half, going on four years” and that Pelosi and her leadership are “almost sickeningly absorbed with destroying Donald Trump.”

“Meanwhile, Trump keeps plugging away. The economy is roaring, its future looks great, wages are up, Trump’s job approval numbers are up…The Democrat Party does not care about the things the American people [care] about,” he said.

On Friday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported the United States added a staggering 266,000 jobs in November with unemployment down to 3.5 percent — a 50-year low.

Limbaugh cited stalling legislation including passing the United States-Mexico-Canada-Agreement (USMCA) and lowering prescription drug prices as further evidence that Democrats are not working on behalf of the American people.

“They have abandoned any pretense of any care or concern of what the American people want,” he said. “After Trump wins 2020, they’ll keep going like he’s John Gotti. So people better get ready for this because this isn’t going to end because the Democrats are nothing but pure raw hatred.”

One of the star witnesses for Congressional Democrats in President Trump‘s impeachment inquiry, Professor Pamela Karlan, should be ashamed of herself for showing such arrogance and looking down on half of America, said Kellyanne Conway on “Fox & Friends” Thursday.

Conway accused Democrats of using Trump’s Ukraine phone call as an excuse to boot him from office, before highlighting Karlan’s comments about conservatives, which were read aloud on Wednesday by Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla.

The Stanford law professor was quoted as saying, “Liberals tend to cluster more. Conservatives, especially very conservative people, tend to spread out more, perhaps because they don’t even want to be around themselves.”

She also acknowledged being a Democratic donor who gave to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign.

“Let’s stop pretending it has a damn thing to do with the 15 witnesses over two committees, the Democrats have called over the last couple of weeks,” Conway told Fox News. “One, out of those 15 witnesses, has said that he or she has ever talked to the president about Ukraine.

Conway accused Karlan of “look[ing] her nose down” at average Americans and blue-collar workers

“She thinks that you are less than her. And I’ve had it… who the hell are you lady, to look down on half the country?”

KELLYANNE CONWAY: TRUMP’S ‘DEFENSE WILL GO ON OFFENSE’ IF SENATE TRIAL ENSUES

Conway took personal offense to Karlan’s comments, as someone who paid her way through law school, as her single mother worked to help support her.

“She’s the star witness, she didn’t educate us. She spent her life lecturing people, she hobnobs with the elite,” Conway said. “I took out six figures worth of student loans to put myself through law school and college with my single mother working her tail off to supplement that. I resent someone like that looking down on half of America. She sounds like Hillary Clinton with the ‘deplorables.'”

Conway also said a Senate trial will provide an opportunity to present actual facts, something she claimed House Democrats have failed to do.

“I disagree completely that the facts are undisputed,” she said. “The entire point of the trial in the Senate would be to get to the facts. The Democrats missed a huge opportunity to build their case. They didn’t present evidence.”

Tomi Lahren’s message to Trump amid impeachment: ‘Don’t forget what got you elected’

Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren said Tuesday that President Trump was correct in believing the Republican Party has never been more united.

Appearing on “Fox & Friends” with hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade, Lahren said that Republicans are “sick and tired of seeing this president — who is getting results for actual American people  — be attacked and harassed and hunted like this.”

This week marks the second round of public impeachment inquiry hearings — now under the purview of the House Judiciary Committee with Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., at the helm.

Nadler invited the president to participate in his committee’s first impeachment hearing on Wednesday. The president has declined the offer, noting that Democrats were well aware of the timing.

REPS. BIGGS AND FULCHER: HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE HEARING ON IMPEACHMENT JUST ANOTHER SHAM LED BY DEMOCRATS

On Monday, House Republicans delivered a point-by-point rebuttal to the efforts, claiming in their own 123-page report that evidence collected in the inquiry to date does not support the accusations leveled against the president — nor constitute grounds for removal from office.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., responded, accusing Republicans of trying to placate the president.

Speaking at a news conference in London Tuesday ahead of the annual NATO summit, Trump confidently told reporters that the “impeachment hoax is going nowhere.”

“I think that some people during the first investigation wanted to give it a little time. But, when it’s been investigation after investigation and we have nothing, no collusion, no obstruction, no quid pro quo, the American people are frustrated and they’re going to galvanize behind their president,” Lahren said.

The Fox News contributor told the “Friends” hosts that she believes that the “average American is very tired of the impeachment hearings.”

“They want to hear about the issues that impact them. And outside of the Beltway and outside of the mainstream media, these things don’t necessarily impact the everyday American,” Lahren said.

Lahren’s warning for the president ahead of the 2020 election? Stick to the issues.

“What impacts them is jobs, the economy and immigration, which is why I also caution President Trump — I think he’s got a lot of support right now — but don’t forget what got you elected in 2016,” she said. “That was the promise to build the wall and crack down on immigration.”

Marine veteran turned congressional candidate calls Kaepernick a ‘national disgrace’

A former NFL player turned congressional candidate called out Colin Kaepernick on Monday for “pulling the racism and victim card.”

Jeremy Staat, a Marine veteran who served in Iraq, wrote to supporters in a recent fundraising email that Kaepernick is a “national disgrace and I’m tired of seeing him celebrated like he’s a hero.”

On Monday, Staat told “Fox & Friends that “[Kaepernick] knew what he was getting into when he decided to kneel and now he’s going to go ahead and capitalize” on his decision. He accused the former NFL quarterback of “essentially extorting the black community and using Nike as his little shiny horse, if you will, to ride in on.”

COLIN KAEPERNICK SPEAKS AT ‘UNTHANKSGIVING’ CELEBRATION, CRITICIZES US

Staat’s comments came after Kaepernick spoke at the “Indigenous People’s Sunrise Ceremony” also known as “Unthanksgiving,” on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco. The event is intended to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Native Americans occupying the famous island, which previously served as the site of a federal prison. The protest, which began on November 20, 1969, lasted 19 months.

“Spent the morning at the Indigenous People’s Sunrise Ceremony on the 50 year anniversary of the Occupation of Alcatraz,” Kaepernick tweeted on Thanksgiving day.

“The US government has stolen over 1.5 billion acres of land from Indigenous people. Thank you to my Indigenous family, I’m with you today and always.”

Kaepernick is no stranger to controversy and has been out of the NFL since the 2016 season. He started a national firestorm when he decided to kneel during the national anthem before games to raise awareness about perceived social injustices across the U.S.

He accused NFL owners in a grievance of blackballing him from the league because of the anthem protest, but the two sides settled earlier this year.

Staat, who is running for Congress as a Republican in California’s 8th district, said that he is tired of veterans being treated as second-class citizens and that, instead of attacking law enforcement like Kaepernick, he wants to be part of the solution by helping President Trump in Congress.

“If you want to be part of the solution, go out and find ways to make the problem better. Don’t go out and attack individuals who are just doing their jobs,” he said, adding that he wants to reform the V.A. but is not going to “attack” doctors and nurses at V.A. hospitals.

Staat played alongside the late Pat Tillman at Arizona State before playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1998 to 2000. The former defensive end joined the Marine Corps in 2006 and deployed to Iraq the following year.

Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., blasted House Democrats Monday for continuing to hold impeachment hearings against President Trump and went after former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, who is speaking out in a new interview.

“Jerry Nadler is running a circus again and we’re prepared for it on Wednesday,” Collins told “Fox & Friends” Monday, calling the House Judiciary Committee hearings another “sideshow” by Democrats.

HOUSE JUDICIARY DEM ADMITS EVEN HE HAS NO CLUE WHO NADLER’S WITNESSES ARE, AS TRUMP FACES DEADLINE

Just days before the House Judiciary Committee is set to call witnesses to testify at a hearing regarding the possible impeachment of President Trump, their identities are being kept hidden not just from the White House, but even members of the committee itself.

“We’re going to have an academic hearing on Wednesday, which, by the way, gang, we don’t even know who their witnesses are yet, said Collins, the ranking Republican member of the House Judiciary Committee. “We don’t even know how to prepare. We’ve asked for fairness. We’ve not got an answer back on that.”

Committee Chairman Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., gave the White House until Sunday evening to decide if they would like to participate in Wednesday’s hearing and gave Trump until Friday regarding a defense at future hearings. (The White House announced Sunday night that Trump and his lawyers would not participate in the House Judiciary Committee’s first impeachment hearing.)

Still, even Nadler’s fellow New York Democrat and committee member Rep. Hakeem Jeffries admitted Sunday that he still did not know who will be testifying. All that is known so far is that there will be four witnesses, they will be constitutional law experts, and that three will be chosen by the Democratic majority and one by the Republican minority.

COLLINS: SCHIFF WILL BE GOP’S ‘FIRST AND FOREMOST WITNESS’ FOR IMPEACHMENT HEARING

Meanwhile, in an interview published late Sunday, Page, the ex-FBI lawyer who carried on an extramarital affair with former FBI head of counterintelligence Peter Strzok, said it was not “fathomable” that she broke the law.

Page and Strzok exchanged a series of anti-Trump text messages that fueled suspicion that there was a conspiracy within the FBI and intelligence community against the Trump presidency. In an interview with The Daily Beast, she said Trump’s comments at a rally in October that mocked her and Strzok over the affair were “the straw that broke the camel’s back,” and she decided she had to speak out.

Collins said Page and Strzok were part of a “corrupt cabal” within the Justice Department that was seeking to “undermine” Trump.

“It’s amazing now how all these folks have now started coming out. As the Horowitz report gets closer, as Mr. Durham continues his investigation, how they’re now trying to paint themselves as just concerned patriots,” he said, referring to two investigations into potential misconduct by the FBI in starting the 2016 Trump-Russia probe.

Robert Henderson may be the exception who proves the rule that a stable and intact family is critically important for young children, and the Yale graduate and doctoral candidate brought that heartfelt message to “Fox & Friends” Friday morning.

Appearing with hosts Pete Hegseth and Dean Cain, Henderson, who was “born into poverty in Los Angeles” and went on to serve in the military, told his inspiring story while urging viewers to appreciate the importance of family.

DAD SHARES ONE LAST BEER WITH SONS IN PHOTO TAKEN HOURS BEFORE CANCER DEATH

He said that his father had abandoned their family and his mother was addicted to drugs, so he spent his formative years living in foster homes.

Later, Henderson would go on to join the serve his country and become an Ivy League scholar. But, he “wasn’t always on the straight and narrow” and was not a good student.

“A lot of people like to hold the school system responsible for how children end up,” he said. “But the thing is, my schools weren’t that bad. My teachers were pretty dedicated to me and the other students and they urged me to apply myself. I just didn’t have much supervision at home and so I didn’t do my homework or any of my assignments.”

“It wasn’t until I joined the military and had that sort of structure in my life that I ended up finding my potential,” he told the “Friends” hosts.

In a recent New York Post op-ed, Henderson wrote that “affluent people take their families for granted. They’re so used to having stable families, it doesn’t occur to them what it would be like to go without.”

Henderson said that there were stark differences in the family structures of the people he had grown up with and his fellow classmates at Yale.

“I want you to just pay attention to your kids, take an interest in them, and know that whatever goes on the home is much more important than what goes on in school or what their teachers or other people are telling them,” he said. “Having a stable, secure, home is very important for young children.”

NFL Hall of Famer and Fox Sports host Terry Bradshaw predicted Thursday that the Chicago Bears would defeat the Detroit Lions in their Thanksgiving matchup.

Appearing on “Fox & Friends” with hosts Dean Cain, Lisa Boothe and Pete Hegseth, Bradshaw cautioned viewers that “we’ve got a mess” when it comes to the game.

THANKSGIVING DAY NFL SCHEDULE 2019: WHICH TEAMS ARE PLAYING, KICKOFF TIMES, BETTING ODDS & MORE

“The Lions are down to their third-string quarterback who is out of Purdue [and] who is an undrafted free agent,” said Bradshaw. “[David] Blough is his name.”

Bradshaw said he was hoping that either Jeff Driskel or Matthew Stafford would be able to play in Blough’s stead. Driskel is out with a hamstring injury and Stafford has fractures in his back.

The two teams play on FOX at 12:30 PM ET.

Hegseth told Bradshaw he always wondered why the Lions and the Cowboys always play on Thanksgiving.

Bradshaw explained that when a Thanksgiving day game first came into the league’s schedule, “just simply nobody wanted it.”

“The Lions said, ‘We’ll take it.’ Dallas said, ‘We’ll take it.’ And so, they gave it to them, but they never gave it back…They never gave it back and it’s a primetime game featuring those two great franchises and it’s pretty cool,” he told the “Friends” couch.

Jason Chaffetz: Democrats pre-spinning Inspector General report is ‘true to script’

A New York Times report alleging the FBI never tried to place undercover agents within the Trump campaign is yet another attempt to pre-spin Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s long-awaited report, former House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz said Thursday.

Appearing on “Fox & Friends” with hosts Dean Cain, Lisa Boothe, and Pete Hegseth, Chaffetz said the article was “true to script” for the Democrats.

JASON CHAFFETZ: LIBERAL MEDIA TRYING TO ‘DIMINISH’ TRUMP, DOWNPLAY SERIOUSNESS OF IG HOROWITZ’S FISA REPORT

“By its very definition, a FISA application is a warrant to spy on somebody,” Chaffetz said. “This person, Carter Page, happened to be on the Trump campaign. So, the mere fact that they’re trying to discredit that says a lot about the weakness of their case and their allegations.”

Chaffetz added: “But, the reality is this happened and the Inspector General — this will be his fifth report that he’s come out with regarding the FBI at the highest echelons. And, let’s also remember: they didn’t spend 18 months working on this to say, ‘Hey, everything went swimmingly at the Department of Justice.'”

According to the Times, the Russia Inquiry review is expected to include evidence that “the FBI was careless and unprofessional in pursuing the Page wiretap.” Horowitz also reportedly referred some of his findings to prosecutors for “potential criminal charges over the alteration of a document in 2017 by a front-line lawyer, Kevin Clinesmith, 37, in connection with the wiretap application.”

TRUMP ON ‘FOX & FRIENDS’: HOUSE DEMS ‘LOOKED LIKE FOOLS’ THIS WEEK, UPCOMING FISA REPORT WILL BE ‘HISTORIC’

“You have to have the highest security clearance they give at the Department of Justice and this one guy just happened to work on all of these types of reports,” Chaffetz said. “I hope he’s not just the scapegoat, but he is the attorney that’s assigned to go through, and the allegation of the article is that he manipulated the evidence, changed the documentation to achieve a political outcome which was to spy on the Trump campaign.”

Chaffetz said the article is a “key flashing light” that says the FBI has “something to be worried about.”

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., announced that Horowitz’s report is set to be released on Dec. 9.

Justin Haskins: America doesn’t want socialism in 2020

Americans don’t want socialism in 2020, the author of “Socialism Is Evil” Justin Haskins argued Wednesday.

Appearing on “Fox & Friends” with host Steve Doocy, the Heartland Institute editorial director said that the root of the Democratic Party‘s socialist message stems from the results of the 2016 primary, in which former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton defeated Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., but lose the election.

Haskins said that the so-called “Bernie Bros” were extremely frustrated with Clinton, who represented the establishment wing of the party, and that they felt they needed to have a purist candidate take up the mantle.

JUSTIN HASKINS: ELIZABETH WARREN IS A SOCIALIST — IF SHE’S THE DEM NOMINEE, THIS HAPPENS IN 2020

However, in a 2020 campaign rally in Sunrise, Fla. on Tuesday, President Trump had a message for his socialist opponents. “To those who would try to impose the horrors of socialism on our country, I say again tonight: America will never be a socialist country. Ever,” he told the cheering crowd.

Haskins also spoke about a recent Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports poll of 1,000 likely voters that revealed 50 percent of those surveyed said they would not vote for a 2020 presidential candidate who identifies as a socialist.

But, Haskins noted, the “vast majority” of Democratic candidates are socialist candidates.

“They may not call themselves socialists but they, in fact, are endorsing socialist policies,” he explained, likening the the Green New Deal to socialism.

“Outside of the Democratic Party, 50 percent of independents said they would not vote for a socialist and even one in three Democrats said they would not vote for a socialist in the survey,” he told Doocy.

Haskins said that there is “no chance a socialist will win” if the “conversation becomes a question, a choice, between socialism and free enterprise, socialism and free markets, socialism and individual liberty.”

“If that’s the question, then absolutely Donald Trump will be very successful in 2020,” he predicted.
