Joe Biden Goes Full ‘Uncle Joe,’ Gets Confused About Who’s In Race

Democrats really are in a box when it comes to Joe Biden.

Many Democrats wanted to back him. But every time they let him out and he opens his mouth, he loses votes.

He was at it again during a forum where a young woman asked him what he was doing to reach out to Hispanics.

She mentioned how the Trump team trolled Biden, realizing that Biden wasn’t sufficiently savvy enough to buy the domain name for his Hispanic outreach slogan, Todos con Biden. The Trump team bought it, and in a funny troll, posted a page saying how Biden had forgotten Latinos and redirected to Latinos for Trump.

So she asked what else was he doing to convey his vision to Hispanics?

“There are websites that you can buy. So they went out and bought everything with that had to do with the name Biden, Joe Biden,” he responded. “So even that I’m the only campaign that I’m aware of, maybe, maybe Cisneros’ campaign is doing it, I’m not sure, um, Castro’s campaign is doing it. The fact is we have reached out extensively into the African, excuse me, Hispanic community, the Latino community, over my entire career. And we have a lot of support in the community. So what these guys have done, we wanted to make sure we could go online and in Spanish, you could in fact, learn everything I was doing and saying, and what’s it all about. Well, we can’t buy every single site out there, some of them cost $20-$30,000, etc, it would have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.”

Yikes. What was that? Joe’s confused about who’s in the race.

Let’s start with there is no candidate in the race names “Cisneros.” Henry Cisneros was a Texas politician, the former Mayor of San Antonio, who hasn’t had a campaign since the 1980s. Talk about being stuck in time.

Cisneros was also a Clinton HUD secretary who had a big scandal when he was accused of lying to the FBI about an affair he had during his background checks for the cabinet position. All Hispanic politicians from Texas are not the same, Joe, Cisneros is not Julian Castro. And it’s not clear what Biden meant when he said “Castro’s campaign is doing it.”

Yes, you can’t buy every domain name that might include your name. But you surely should buy the ones you intend to use. That’s just a silly response. And it’s a dishonest one, since the Trump campaign only bought the one site, not “everything to do with the name Biden.”

Then, Biden never really answered her question, what was he doing to convey his vision?

Although admittedly, just as it was hard for Hillary Clinton, it’s hard to convert vision when you’re only real argument is “I’m next in line.” And it’s hard to convey vision, when you seem confused about basic things, like who’s in the race.

Uncle of orphaned baby in El Paso: Family supports Trump

Westlake Legal Group TrumpOK Uncle of orphaned baby in El Paso: Family supports Trump Walmart Tito Anchondo The Blog republicans President Trump Melania Trump mass shooting hispanic El Paso

The unhinged left is crazed with criticism of a photo released by First Lady Melania Trump after a trip to El Paso this week. President Trump and Melania went to the hospital where eight surviving victims of the mass shooting at Walmart are recovering. No good deed goes unpunished, as the saying goes.

It’s more than a good deed for the president to visit with victims of horrific events like mass shootings, it is a part of his job to be the Consoler-in-Chief. It’s President Trump, though, so even this trip must be criticized by his opponents, especially those in the media. President Trump was giving a thumbs-up gesture in the photo and smiling so clearly he is a very, very bad Orange Man, at least in the minds of his critics. It may well be a bit unusual in this particular photo, but Trump frequently uses that gesture in photographs. It’s his thing. And, yes, he’s smiling but so are the others, even the baby if we’re honestly critiquing the shot.

The photo is included in a montage from that day by the First Lady. She wasn’t featuring it as a separate photo, just a part of chronicling the day. She is holding baby Paul. The press is still going nuts over it. The narrative that is strong with them is that the eight victims in the El Paso hospital didn’t want a visit from Trump so he didn’t see them. Instead, he visited with staff and first responders and thanked them for their work. One family he did visit with was that of Jordan and Andre Anchondo. Andre’s brother Tito Anchondo, his sister, Deborah Ontiveros, and his baby Paul met the President Trump and First Lady Melania. They were invited to do so, as none were hospital patients. They were pleased to have the opportunity of a visit.

Tito is now dealing with the headlines and stories of that visit besides the grief of losing his brother and sister-in-law, the parents of baby Paul. Andre shielded Paul from the gunshots. He and Jordan were murdered but the baby survived with broken fingers. He didn’t want the visit to be about politics. As a matter of fact, his parents, baby Paul’s grandparents, turned down the White House invitation to meet with President Trump because they wish to remain private in their grief. Tito was interested in hearing from the president and trying to determine his sincerity. It turns out that Tito and his family are conservative Republicans and support President Trump. The family wants to leave politics out of their grief.

Tito Anchondo said he sought to meet the president to share his family’s grievous pain. “He was just there as a human being, consoling us and giving his condolences,” he said about Trump in an interview outside his family’s auto-body shop in south-central El Paso.

But Anchondo strongly rejects that view of the shootings and said he did not want the photo to be seen through a political lens. Anchondo previously told NPR that his family is Republican and his murdered brother had supported Trump.

The president “wasn’t there to be pushing any kind of political agenda,” he said, describing “a private conversation between human beings.”

Asked if he felt consoled by the conversation, he said, “Yes, definitely.”

Tito felt consoled. Trump did his job. There is no proof of any insincerity, no matter what you read in the press. As much as they want to make it about the people who chose not to meet with the president, there were those who did. To be honest, I don’t know that I’d want such big names visiting me in the hospital. I can understand those who wanted privacy away from cameras and photo ops. And, no doubt there are some who are recovering that are not Trump supporters. It serves no good purpose, though, for politicians and journalists to push the narrative that all of this death and destruction is because of President Trump. The Ohio mass murderer, for example, has a completely different personality profile than the El Paso murderer. No one holds Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders responsible. No one held Bernie Sanders responsible for the near-murder of Rep. Steve Scalise and other Republicans on the baseball field.

Of the smiles in the photograph, Tito asks a good question – what are they supposed to do? Never smile and try to carry on? They received a visit from the most powerful man on earth and the First Lady. It was an historic moment for them. Would the haters have preferred scowls and tears? It wouldn’t matter, you know. The criticism would be there either way.

“Is it that hard to try and understand that a family is trying to not be sad at a moment like this?” said Anchondo, who also appears in the photo along with his sister. “We’re trying to be as strong as we can. … My brother is gone.”

Imagine if President Trump and the First Lady hadn’t gone to Dayton and El Paso. They knew the press reports of the ginned up hateful statements put out by politicians and locals in special interest groups in both cities. The press egged them on and made headlines out of it all. It was a time for comforting victims and families of those who were injured or killed.

Dear American Left, We Fought a Civil War to Make You Understand You Can’t Own Minorities Anymore

Black Trump supporter by Johnny Silvercloud, licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0/Original

Imagine being a black individual in this country who, after much thought and consideration, expressed that you align more with the right than you do the left. You express your desire to pull the lever for Donald Trump in 2020 and believe that when it comes to how this country is run, you say that fewer entitlements, lower taxes, and more policing is good for the nation.

Then one morning you wake up and are informed that you’re not black anymore. You’ve been unpersoned. You hear from leftists in Hollywood and social media that your identity as a black person has been revoked!

You receive messages like this one below.

You don’t have to be black for this to apply to you either. You can be Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern. It doesn’t matter. Your heritage, experience and more are subject to the approval of the left.

I might just be a white guy who supports and his supported by the white patriarchy, but why is it that members of the left believe that they have this kind of power? How is it that they believe to have the authority to label who is and isn’t a valid member of this society.

Didn’t we fight a very bloody civil war to get it across to Democrats that we don’t do that here in American anymore? They lost the power to define a minority person’s worth as a citizen. Yet we’re still seeing leftists toss out a minority individual’s worth and look down on them because of who they are.

My colleague Kira Davis wrote an excellent open letter to Hollywood actress Bette Middler who did this very thing to a group of black people at a Trump rally. Middler, without knowing these men or even considering them individuals, accused them of being “blackground” figures who were paid to be seen standing behind President Donald Trump at a rally in order to make him look good.

Davis’s response was spot on:

For all of our talk about tolerance, diversity and how racist those big, bad scary Republicans were, the worst discrimination and stereotyping I ever experienced came from my left-wing brethren. It didn’t take me long to figure out that for many non-Black progressives I was not an individual…I was a box to check on their diversity list.

Ms. Midler, that is what you did with that truly thoughtless tweet – you revealed that you only see Black Americans as quotas while suggesting Trump was paying people to be quotas. Project much?

We see thinking like Middler’s come from the left a little too often, and they seem very comfortable with it. This is because they bought their own lie, hook, line, and sinker, that they are truly the defenders of the minority and Republicans are only out to, as Joe Biden once said, put them back in chains.

Hilarious, since it was the right that broke their chains and fought for civil rights.

To the left, they seem to think that as the sole protectors of minorities they know what’s in a minority community’s best interest and have the authority to tell them what is and isn’t good for them to do. How they should and shouldn’t act. What’s more, they become highly offended when a minority individual thinks individually and decides to side with the very people that they just know hate them.

With that mentality, they unperson an individual without any feelings of remorse. To them, a black person is supposed to fall into a specific box, and if they don’t, then they’re a race traitor and worthy of the worst kind of derision. Middler still hasn’t apologized for her comment despite the fact that she received an astounding shellacking for her racism.

To be clear, this is the definition of racism. It’s the idea that if a person of a certain race can’t be owned by a certain party, then they should be disappeared. The disappearing may have taken on a different meaning decades ago, but the idea is pretty much the same.

This country was based on individualism, and that should be maintained. However, too many Democrats have had, and still, have trouble understanding that minorities don’t belong to them. If a minority individual wants to vote for Trump, he has his or her reasons. People are more than their skin color and don’t have to be in one box or another.

The Word “Racism” Has Lost All Meaning

Westlake Legal Group d90ed685-5f16-4a4f-b73c-6f20d000279d-620x317 The Word “Racism” Has Lost All Meaning white south park republicans racism Politics Michael Richards Matt Stone and Trey Parker left hispanic Front Page Stories Featured Story black Allow Media Exception accusations

In 2006, Michael Richards was very angry when he was continuously heckled while he was on stage doing a stand-up comedy show. Richards, unsure of what to do, began doing what some comedians do when they feel up against the wall. They immediately go to shock value. Richards began throwing around the “n-word” as a way to try to get cheap shock-laughs while freaking out on some hecklers and was labeled a racist for it. The hecklers were black, making Richards’ screaming of the “n-word” a racist act, and fair enough.

Richards has had the label of “racist” attached to him ever since. Thing is, I’m not exactly sure that Richards could be considered a racist. He committed a racist act, to be sure, but in subsequent interviews spanning years, I can only conclude that the guy isn’t actually harboring animosity toward people of different skin color. He was just a bad stand-up comedian who had a moment of panic-induced rage that made him cross a societal line in an attempt to gain footing.

It happens to comedians all the time in varying levels. It recently happened to Whoopie Goldberg. It doesn’t make what Richards did right, but it does offer us context, and context is exactly what seems to be thrown out in almost every accusation of racism nowadays.

As I wrote earlier on Wednesday, Tim Allen topped trending lists on Twitter because of accusations of racism being thrown at him. Why is he racist? Because he doesn’t know how to play spades, and six years ago he tried to reason that saying the “n-word” in a specific context should be allowed if the context has zero racist connotations.

Years of the “n-word” being used by all sorts of people proved Allen correct. One shining example is Matt Stone and Trey Parker of South Park making an entire episode centered around the Richards incident where they used the “n-word” openly many times. There was little to no blowback over it. Stone and Parker even made the argument in the South Park episode that Richards wasn’t racist, he was just a bad comedian. Richards himself has made that observation.

Here we see four white men using the “n-word” in various contexts, and yet none of them actually are racist when nuances are considered.

Yet context and nuance are given no quarter in today’s social justice infested society.

People are labeled “racist” left and right for simply opposing a person of color in any way regardless of the subject. I was recently labeled a racist for pointing out that twerking on cop cars and sticking your butt out at a camera at a Pride parade does nothing to help acceptance or tolerance of LGBT peoples.

The people in the video and pictures just happened to be black, but being black wasn’t the issue. It didn’t matter. I opposed something black people happened to be doing.

But you don’t even have to be doing anything to necessarily be labeled as racist. Are you a white Republican? You’re a racist? Are you a doctor or a nurse? Kamala Harris thinks you’re a racist. Did you vote for Trump? Clinton thinks you’re a racist. Are you a Hispanic woman wearing a MAGA hat? A white SJW will be along shortly to label you as racist. According to the activist left, Veggie Tales is racist too. Oh, and Lord of the Rings also causes racism to magically appear in people.

Most recently, Steven Crowder was labeled as a racist for daring to call Vox’s Carlos Maza a Mexican, which he is, and is something Carlos Maza proudly calls himself.

What isn’t racist? Anything that the left does.

MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace claimed there wasn’t a “strain of racism” on the left. Yet leftists activists and politicians embrace rabid antisemites like Nation of Islam hate preacher Louis Farrakhan, who think Hitler was a great man and that Jewish people are termites. CNN’s Don Lemon called white men the number one threat to America.  Leftist “comedian” Kristine Wong made a YouTube show that openly teaches kids racism against white people.

Even Virginia governors doing blackface seem only elicit a finite outrage from racially obsessed activists.

The word “racism” is no longer a description, and hasn’t been for some time. Now it’s simply a political tool with no meaning. The word doesn’t need context to be used, and you need not worry about dissecting nuance in order to toss it around. Just find something you don’t like and apply liberally. No pun intended.

This isn’t good for obvious reasons. For one, any actual racism gets lost in the minutia. We also lose sight of what actual racism looks like, and soon actual racism gets pardoned as reactive defensiveness against another race over accusations of racism that never happened. We clown ourselves and call it “being woke.”

This is why the word is losing its edge. People having the accusation of racism nowadays are more likely to laugh it off than actually go through the time-wasting process of proving they aren’t. Why should they? The vast majority of people accused of racism did nothing racist at all and have nothing to answer for.

What’s more, the general public isn’t asking them to answer for it either. The only people stomping their feet and demanding a pound of flesh are the mainstream media, politicians, and activists, and they’re losing the public’s ear thanks to overuse of the accusation.

The word “racism” just doesn’t mean anything now, and the left has only itself to blame.
