Jarvis Landry among Cleveland Browns players yelling ‘come get me’ at Arizona Cardinals sideline: report

Westlake Legal Group Jarvis-Landry Jarvis Landry among Cleveland Browns players yelling 'come get me' at Arizona Cardinals sideline: report Ryan Gaydos fox-news/us/us-regions/midwest/ohio fox-news/sports/nfl/cleveland-browns fox-news/sports/nfl fox news fnc/sports fnc c094fd71-3f1d-5b2b-ae86-fa4ce98653ee article

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry’s frustrations may have boiled over during the team’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

Landry was among the Browns players who were yelling “come get me” at the Cardinals sideline before the game was over, NFL insider Mike Silver reported Monday. It was a similar phrase that Odell Beckham Jr. reportedly was heard telling the San Francisco 49ers earlier this season.

It wasn’t clear which other Browns players were involved.

FREDDIE KITCHENS UNCONCERNED ABOUT CLEVELAND BROWNS FUTURE AFTER LATEST LOSS

The veteran wide receiver had five catches for 23 yards in the loss. He also was seen having a confrontation with coach Freddie Kitchens during the game.

Cleveland dropped to 6-8 with the loss. Kitchens raised eyebrows after the game when he said he didn’t care about his future with the team. He was forced to clarify those comments Monday.

ODELL BECKHAM JR. ASKING OPPONENTS TO GET HIM OUT OF CLEVELAND, FEELING ‘LOST’: REPORTS

“Let me clarify in a sense. I care about my job. I only care though about getting better today. …Everybody here is focused on that,” Kitchens said, as the Cleveland Plain-Dealer reported. Owners “Dee and Jimmy Haslam and [general manager] John Dorsey would much rather me be worried about getting our team to play better than be worried about my job security. The only thing I was trying to illustrate is the fact that I am only concerned about what we are doing as a football today, and that is it.

“Of course, I want to be back. Listen, we can make it all bad all we want, but we have done some good things this year. We have the leading rusher in the league. We have two receivers over [900 yards]. I do not even know where they rank now, but nobody has a 1,000-yard rusher, a 1,000-yard receiver and another receiving almost 900 yards. Defensively, up until yesterday, we were second in the league in third downs and getting off the field. We were ranked pretty high in the red zone and making guys kick field goals. We just need to execute better when we get to the critical moments in a game. There is a lot of good here. It is just we get so swept up in the negative that we can’t see the positives.”

Liberal Glenn Greenwald rips mainstream media for spreading ‘false propaganda’

Westlake Legal Group 694940094001_6027795772001_6027798625001-vs Liberal Glenn Greenwald rips mainstream media for spreading 'false propaganda' fox-news/news-events/russia-investigation fox-news/media fox news fnc/media fnc f0944eb3-e5fc-5f19-bac8-f15ba9cefef9 Brian Flood article

Liberal journalist Glenn Greenwald, a co-founder of The Intercept, eviscerated the mainstream media for elevating former FBI and CIA figures such as CNN’s Josh Campbell and MSNBC’s John Brennan to “noble truth-tellers” of U.S. democracy to spread “false propaganda,” as he put it.

Greenwald’s piece, “The Inspector General’s Report on 2016 FBI Spying Reveals a Scandal of Historic Magnitude: Not Only for the FBI but Also the U.S. Media,” said the FBI’s heavy reliance on the dossier from British ex-spy Christopher Steele to obtain a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act [FISA] warrant against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page was “particularly concerning,” and the media essentially fed the fire. Greenwald cited revelations from Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz, who last week released a report on the FBI’s launch of the Russia investigation.

“If it does not bother you to learn that the FBI repeatedly and deliberately deceived the FISA court into granting it permission to spy on a U.S. citizen in the middle of a presidential campaign, then it is virtually certain that you are either someone with no principles, someone who cares only about partisan advantage and nothing about basic civil liberties and the rule of law, or both,” Greenwald wrote.

GLENN GREENWALD RIPS MSNBC FOR ‘SCAM’ RUSSIA PROBE COVERAGE, CLAIMS HE WAS BANNED FOR NOT BUYING NARRATIVE

“The revelations of the IG Report are not merely a massive FBI scandal. They are also a massive media scandal, because they reveal that so much of what the U.S. media has authoritatively claimed about all of these matters for more than two years is completely false,” Greenwald added.

Greenwald noted that many commentators and journalists have been “sounding the alarm about the highly dangerous trend” or news organizations recklessly relying on the claims of security agents.

‘THE VIEW’ GETS HEATED AS WHOOPI GOLDBERG SHUTS DOWN MEGHAN MCCAIN: ‘GIRL, PLEASE STOP TALKING’

“Far worse, now employing them in their newsrooms to shape the news,” Greenwald wrote. “It’s virtually impossible to turn on MSNBC or CNN without being bombarded with former generals, CIA operatives, FBI agents and NSA officials who now work for those networks as commentators and, increasingly, as reporters.”

Greenwald mocked some journalists for having “lavished themselves with Pulitzers and other prizes despite a multitude of embarrassing and dangerous errors about the Grave Russian Threat” while relying mostly on “anonymous, uncorroborated claims from Deep State operatives.”

Greenwald said the “few exceptions” to the anonymity came when pundits such as Campbell and Brennan appeared on TV to “spread their false propaganda,” which had significant consequences.

“U.S. discourse on these national security questions is shaped almost entirely by the very agencies that are trained to lie: the CIA, the NSA [National Security Agency], the Pentagon, the FBI. And their lying has been highly effective,” Greenwald wrote. “The narrative manufactured by the security state agencies and laundered by their reliable media servants about these critical matters was a sham, a fraud, a lie.”

Greenwald wrote that he felt liberals were “eager to believe that the security state agencies opposed to Trump should be trusted despite their decades of violent lawlessness and systemic lying” and therefore “came to believe in the sanctity of the NSA and the FISA process.”

He also said “none of these journalists have acknowledged an iota of error in the wake of this report because they know that lying is not just permitted but encouraged as long as it pleases and vindicates the political beliefs” of their cable-news audiences.

“Until that stops, credibility and faith in journalism will never be restored, and – despite how toxic it is to have a media that has no claim on credibility – that despised status will be fully deserved,” Greenwald wrote.

Holocaust planner’s grave dug up, Berlin police say

Berlin authorities on Monday said the grave of a high-ranking Nazi official who helped plan the Holocaust has been dug up.

The grave of Reinhard Heydrich was “dug up in the night between Wednesday and Thursday,” a police spokeswoman told AFP.

Police say none of Heydrich’s bones appeared to have been removed, but under German law, tampering with a grave can be prosecuted as “grave defilement,” BBC reported.

Heydrich was the leader of Hitler’s Reich Main Security Office, which oversaw the Gestapo, the Nazi’s secret police.

Though not as well-known as other Nazi figures, Heydrich was renowned for his cruelty – even by Third Reich standards. According to his biographer, Mario Dederichs, Hitler referred to him as “the man with the iron heart.”

Heydrich also hosted the Wannsee Conference of 1942, where Nazi leaders discussed the “Final Solution of the Jewish Question.”

During the Nazi occupation of Prague (where Heydrich became known as the “Butcher of Prague”), Heydrich was killed after British-trained Czechoslovak agents attacked his car with an anti-tank mine.

Slotkin, Backing Trump’s Impeachment, Draws Instant Protests, and Applause

Westlake Legal Group 16dc-slotkin-facebookJumbo Slotkin, Backing Trump’s Impeachment, Draws Instant Protests, and Applause United States Politics and Government Trump, Donald J Trump-Ukraine Whistle-Blower Complaint and Impeachment Inquiry Slotkin, Elissa Michigan impeachment Elections, House of Representatives

ROCHESTER, Mich. — The blowback began on Monday even before Representative Elissa Slotkin took the lectern to announce she would vote to impeach President Trump.

Dozens of angry Trump supporters bearing “Impeach Slotkin, Keep Trump” signs shouted down Ms. Slotkin, a first-term congresswoman, at a packed town hall-style meeting in a university ballroom, chanting “Hey, hey! Ho, ho! Elissa Slotkin has got to go!” and “One-term congresswoman!” and “C.I.A. Hack!” — a reference to Ms. Slotkin’s past work as a C.I.A. analyst.

Keeping her composure, Ms. Slotkin plowed through her statement — “Guys, let’s try to have a civil conversation,” she said at one point — and then took questions, though her pleas for civility were ignored.

The more she explained her decision to constituents in her district north of Detroit, one that Mr. Trump won in 2016, the angrier and louder the protests grew.

“MAGA! MAGA!” attendees shouted, repeating the president’s campaign slogan. “Four more years! Four more years!”

But the voices on the other side, though not nearly as loud, were present in force. Most in the crowd of about 400 people who gathered here on Monday leaped to their feet and applauded when Ms. Slotkin announced her intention to vote “yes” on Wednesday when the House holds its vote on the articles of impeachment.

One of her supporters arrived with a competing sign: “We’ve got your back, Representative Slotkin.”

So it has been all year for Ms. Slotkin, who served in Iraq as a C.I.A. analyst and in the Obama Defense Department before she ran for Congress in 2018, winning a seat that had been held by Republicans for 20 years. Caught in the middle of the United States’ red-blue divide, she resisted impeachment for months, even after Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel, issued a report detailing at least 10 instances of obstruction of justice by Mr. Trump.

The story of how she arrived at her impeachment decision is the story of so many moderate Democrats in this year’s historic freshman class. Moved to run for public office to counter the rise of Mr. Trump, they flipped Republican seats and are now in danger of becoming one-term members of Congress — possibly costing their party control of the House — over a decision they tried mightily to avoid.

Ms. Slotkin announced her decision in an opinion piece on Monday morning in The Detroit Free Press, making instant headlines here. She had submitted it the night before, as she pored through a thick, leather-bound binder containing the House Intelligence Committee’s report on Mr. Trump’s dealings with Ukraine and a thick tome containing the House of Representatives’ manual of rules, procedures and precedents.

“I didn’t dream of being a politician,” Ms. Slotkin said in an interview Sunday night. “My whole life. This was not part of my normal plan. And if this district sees fit to elect someone else, then I will accept that and walk away with my head held high that I’ve made decisions based on principle, and not political calculus.”

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.

White Helmets rescue group founder died from fall in Istanbul, investigators say

James Le Mesurier, the former British soldier who founded the White Helmets volunteer rescue group that has saved thousands of Syrians caught up in the country’s civil war, died from a fall, Turkish forensic experts said.

Le Mesurier, 48, was found dead in November on a street below his apartment in Istanbul.

State broadcast outlet TRT said Monday that the cause of death was “general body trauma linked to a fall from height,” the BBC reported.

The news agency said Le Mesurier had taken sleeping pills. Another state-run news agency, Anadolu, said Le Mesurier’s wife, Emma Winberg, told police her husband had contemplated suicide.

The CEO of Mayday Rescue, which founded the White Helmets, also known as the Syria Civil Defense, was discovered dead around 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 11.

The White Helmets comprised more than 3,000 volunteers working in opposition-held areas in Syria to help those injured. The group has been credited with saving thousands caught in the middle of attacks between Syrian forces and rebel groups.

In 2016, the group received the Right Livelihood Award in recognition for “outstanding bravery, compassion and humanitarian engagement in rescuing civilians”.

A trail of reported tornados broke out across Louisiana and Mississippi Monday afternoon, damaging homes and churches and killing at least one person, local officials say.

Forecasters said radar showed possible twisters as the “widespread” weather system charged across the region. The Storm Prediction Center reported trees were broken or toppled in parts of Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana.

Vernon Parish Chief Deputy Calvin Turner has confirmed at least one death after what appeared to be a large tornado left a path of destruction.

“We’ve got damage at lots of places. We’ve got a church where the fellowship hall is torn all to pieces. Some homes are hit. Right now we’re having trouble just getting to places because of tress that are down,” said Turner.

Damage also was reported about 25 miles away in DeRidder.

Entergy Mississippi, an electric utility company, reported more than 2,000 power outages in the state, concentrated mostly west of Jackson along the path of a storm where a tornado was spotted.

Forecasters said an area of northeastern Louisiana and southwestern Mississippi – where about 1 million people live – had a moderate chance of dangerous weather. A tornado watch was issued from east Texas through Louisiana into central Mississippi and southern Arkansas.

DEADLY ‘WIDESPREAD WINTRY WEATHER’ CAUSES TRAVEL CHAOS IN MIDWEST; SEVERE WEATHER RISK IN SOUTH

A lesser threat, meanwhile, extended into Alabama, western Georgia, the western Florida Panhandle and Tennessee as storms moved eastward, according to forecasters.

Students throughout Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi were dismissed early, while schools canceled afternoon events and activities as a precaution because of the weather threat.

Forecasters said tornadoes, hail and winds blowing at 70 mph posed the greatest threat as a cold front moved across the region in an easterly direction. Storms that are predicted to begin in the west could last until early Tuesday in the region’s east, forecasters said.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Officials had found the orangutan asleep in a basket, drugged with allergy pills, after a routine security screening.

Zhestkov, 27, told officials that a friend had bought the protected primate for $3,000 at a Java street market and given it to him, The Guardian reported at the time. He said that his friend – who is also Russian – convinced him he could take the orangutan home to keep as a pet, according to the report.

Authorities also discovered two geckos and five lizards in Zhestkov’s luggage. He was sentenced to a year in prison and fined the equivalent of $714, Kyodo News reported.

‘Boy Meets World’ star Maitland Ward says she’s ‘making more now’ doing porn

Porn pays better than Disney, a former actress-turned-porn star says.

Maitland Ward, who rose to fame on ABC/Disney Channel’s “Boy Meets World,” says she makes more money in the adult entertainment industry and has even been nominated for awards — take that, Academy!

The actress, 42, tells The Daily Beast she recently was nominated for two AVN Awards, a ceremony akin to the Academy Awards but for porn, for Best Three-Way Sex Scene and Best Supporting Actress.

“When people say, ‘She had to turn to porn,’ I laugh, because this is a good thing and I’m making more now,” she says. “If you talked to my younger, more virginal soap-opera self, I never would have seen this coming out of me.”

Ward, who played Rachel McGuire, the bombshell redhead obsession of both Eric (Will Friedle) and Jack (Matthew Lawrence), says her career transition to porn happened by chance. After “Boy Meets World” ended in 2000, she booked a few bit parts in Hollywood before moving on to study theater and screenwriting in New York and Los Angeles.

But in 2013, as a 30-something actress, she says she got her big break at comic conventions while dressed up in sexy cosplay, which she posted on social media — much to her team’s chagrin.

‘BOY MEETS WORLD’ STAR MAITLAND WARD DOING PORN: ‘I FELT READY’

“I had a publicist who was like, ‘Stop putting up sexy pictures. They will not hire you for anything if you do that. Once you get past 30, 35, they don’t hire you for doing sexy stuff. You should be auditioning to play Disney moms,’” she says. “He thought he was giving me good advice but it just wasn’t my thing. I was typecast. I was seen as a wholesome comedy star, and I was trying to fight against that. I didn’t want to play a Disney mom.”

Soon after, she discovered that her millions of Instagram fans wanted more, so she began selling adult content — including nude photos — online through a Snapchat premium account, porn app OnlyFans and content service Patreon.

“For 2018, I was the No. 1 adult-content creator for Patreon,” she says, “and it put the power back in my hands. Studios wouldn’t give me that.”

Ward tells The Daily Beast she makes as much as five figures a month on OnlyFans alone, snagging $62,000 in her best month during 2018.

Soon after, she started doing girl-on-girl sex scenes on her premium Snapchat account, something she calls “just another kind of performance,” which led to her first feature porn role in “Drive.” She first announced her role in the 3½-hour “erotic thriller” on Instagram, where she posts a slew of X-rated photos.

Ward describes filming porn scenes as something that “feels natural.” Now that she’s the face of high-end XXX brand Deeper.com, she has no plans to slow down anytime soon, and has several other porn projects in the works.

“It’s insane! At my age, to come in and become a porn star?” she says. “I don’t have a label either. I’m just this grown woman who loves sex. One thing I really like is to surprise people, to shock them and to get them stirred up. I’m going to keep doing that.”

But aside from the money, she’s glad to still have her “Boy Meets World” fans.

“They say, I’ve been masturbating to you all these years,” she says. “And you know, that’s a feat that I will be proud of.”
