Remember the controversy stirred up by the New York Times last month about how the Trump administration was deliberately delaying the rollout of the Harriet Tubman $20 bill because racism? As it turns out, the report was bogus all along, according to officials from President Obama’s administration.

Fox News reports:

After Democrat lawmakers and commentators spent months hammering the Trump administration for supposedly delaying the release of a $20 bill featuring abolitionist Harriet Tubman, several officials appointed by President Barack Obama have reportedly admitted that Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin has followed the Obama timeline for producing the new currency.

The Obama administration said [in] 2016 that it wanted to remove Andrew Jackson from the $20 bill and replace him with Tubman, who helped free slaves through the Underground Railroad, and that the bills would be ready in 2020. But a current “high-ranking government official” appointed by Obama, as well as a former official, confirmed to The Washington Post that the Tubman bill had “had “always been scheduled for release toward the end of the next decade.”

Obama Treasury Secretary Jack Lew’s 2016 claims that a “final concept design” of the bill would be released in 2020 were viewed with skepticism internally, according to the report. Larry R. Felix, the director of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing from 2006 to 2015, told The Post that too much security work needed to be done to realistically release the bill in 2020.

“Those announcements were not grounded in reality,” Felix said. “The U.S. had not at the time acquired the security features to redesign and protect the notes.”

Trump’s Treasury Dept. pushed back on the reports in June, noting the reasons for the delay in the rollout of the bill:

BEP Director Len Olijar, an Obama appointee, also issued a statement at the time which read, in part:

“As technology has evolved, banknote production has vastly changed over the last three decades. The next family of notes require new, overt and covert security features for the public, the banknote equipment manufacturers, and the central bank, to keep our currency safe and secure. Security features also need to work in mass production. A design can change during testing. The overwhelming success of the redesigned $100 in thwarting counterfeiting, is greatly due to the effectiveness of the blue security thread which is a public feature (and which a design was integrated around afterwards). That development alone of that security feature took approximately 10 years to finalize.

“Moreover, BEP was never going to unveil a note design in 2020. To keep our currency safe and secure, it is unwise to give counterfeiters a look at a potential future note far in advance of a note going into circulation. Additionally, if the concept of a note that was made public by the government were to change during that lengthy amount of time, it would create confusion in the global marketplace, further aiding counterfeiters.”

But those explanations were not good enough for The Usual Suspects like the frauds at the Southern Poverty Law Center, who blasted off about how the delay in the Tubman bill equated to more “racism” and “misogyny” from Trump, etc etc.

Will they walk back those false narratives now that news outlets they find reliable (like the Washington Post) and numerous officials from the Obama administration are confirming the Tubman bill was always going to be delayed? Don’t count on it.

My old man used to say that there were some people who needed killing. Saturday a 69-year-old goober who was part of the terrorist Antifa organization got exactly what he needed as he tried to firebomb and ICE facility in Seattle, WA. I really have zero sympathy for him. He was part of a vicious group of thugs who have assaulted people and destroyed property throughout, primarily, the Pacific Northwest. In Portland, where they operate under the protection of the mayor, they have cowed the police into submission.

Not only did the Antifa goober try to firebomb an ICE facility, he left behind a “manifesto” that reads like an Ocasio-Cortez speech. Given those things, one would think that the least she could do would be to condemn it. But then you wouldn’t be AOC, or Chiquita Khrushchev as Ace styles her.

How hard would it have been to say that what he did was wrong? Not hard at all. But the fact is that AOC is reliant upon the Antifa and their fan club for her popularity and, therefore, her political clout. The moment she denounces their violence, she’s done. So she won’t.

Report: BuzzFeed Threatening to Doxx Famous Pro-Trump Meme Maker Who Attended White House Summit

Westlake Legal Group BuzzFeed-Kompromat-620x324 Report: BuzzFeed Threatening to Doxx Famous Pro-Trump Meme Maker Who Attended White House Summit Politics meme Media Front Page Stories Featured Story Doxxing donald trump democrats Carpe Donktum Buzzfeed Allow Media Exception

The left can’t meme, and as such, their reaction to anyone who can create memes is going to be overblown. In BuzzFeed’s case, they’re willing to expose a man’s private information strictly because he’s good at what he does and he’s guilty of wrong-think.

According to Twitter user “Carpe Donktum,” who is famously known for creating memes that President Donald Trump himself uses…

Donktum was also recently invited to the White House social media summit that corporations were not invited to, and the salt that has poured from them since has been immeasurable. One of BuzzFeed’s methods of lashing out is investigating Donktum and telling him that they plan to release his personal information to the world.

Donktum keeps his information very private, and for good reason. It’s not above activist groups to go to great lengths to intimidate and harm. Ask Antifa about that.

Donktum took to Twitter to the world was BuzzFeed was planning.

“Just a friendly Heads Up, [BuzzFeed] is currently in the midst of a moral dilemma about whether or not they should Dox me and my family,” tweeted Donktum. “An act that is now a commonly used arrow in the quiver of the MSM, I have respectfully asked that they respect my wishes.”

“I have spoken with a reporter from Buzzfeed and they claim to have found my private Facebook profile, run a background check on me, and are prepared to release my name to the public, despite finding that I have no criminal background, nor is there any Newworthy reason to do so,” he said in a followup tweet.

“I have explained to them that this morally reprehensible act would put not only myself in very real danger, but my family who are VERY MUCH private citizens,” continued Donktum. “While I realize that I have become somewhat of a public figure, my family are not.”

“In the current political climate, I have been very lucky that MANY MSM outlets have respected my wishes to remain anonymous. This move from Buzzfeed is just the most recent in a long history of lesser outlets being used as launch point for harassment. MSM will follow suit,” he added.

This is a massive misuse of BuzzFeed’s power as a mainstream platform. While Dontkum has a clear political stance, he has not done anything to warrant harm against him. However, the left seems to believe that exposing him to the worst is completely okay since he and Donald Trump are mutual fans. In the court of public opinion, Donktum is guilty of wrong-think, and BuzzFeed is going to play judge and jury, and leave the executing to the public after that.

If BuzzFeed does go through with this, then you can bet that Dontkum and his children will be threatened.

This isn’t the first time the media has threatened to doxx someone over a simple meme. CNN was so displeased with a gif of Trump body slamming CNN in a gif that CNN actually threatened to doxx the meme maker if he ever did it again. It led yours truly to create this video.

Communist Party USA Endorses the Democrat Sponsored Protecting the Right to Organize Act

Passage of the pro-union “PRO Act” would turn the “Green New Deal” into a “Blue-Green New Deal,” says Communist Party USA organizer.

Last week, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s chief of staff (and the man who recruited the then-28 year old bartender to run for Congress), Saikat Chakrabarti, unveiled the real underlying reason for the so-called Green New Deal, reported the Washington Post,

The underlying purpose of the Green New Deal was not to combat “climate change,” per se, but the ability to fundamentally transform the U.S. economy.

“The interesting thing about the Green New Deal,” Chakrabarti stated, “is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all. Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.”

In June, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) passed a resolution endorsing the Green New Deal, stating (in part) “…the Green New Deal aligns with our values and presents an unprecedented opportunity to unite the fights for environmental, racial, and economic justice and make inclusive prosperity and economic security available to all of us by calling for a fundamental reshaping of our economy.”

Given that the so-called Green New Deal’s underlying premise is to fundamentally transform the economy of the United States, it should come as no surprise that the Communist Party USA—which has been growing in the last few years—sees a golden opportunity to use labor legislation currently in Congress to get the Green New Deal passed.

If the left succeeds in getting the labor legislation passed, so the logic goes, then the rest of their Marxist agenda will fall into place.

Writing in the Communist publication People’s World, Rich Nagin—a district organizer for the Communist Party USA—says that passage of the misleadingly-named Protecting the Right to Organize Act “would open the door for passage of bills to protect retirement security, immigrant rights, voting rights, and equality for women and the LBGTQ community.”

While there are several key components to the “PRO Act,” three core components are:

  1. The PRO Act would eliminate employees ability to vote on unionization through secret-ballot elections;
  2. The PRO Act would force employees and their employers into government-mandated union contracts after three months of becoming unionized; and
  3. The PRO Act would eliminate so-called Right-to-Work laws in all 50 states, thereby forcing millions of union members to pay union fees or be fired from their jobs.

A decade ago, when unions and their political allies were trying to pass a similar billed (the “Employee Free Choice Act), the actual motives were better concealed.

However, today, with the shift of the Democratic Party more towards the left, there is more transparency to their goals.

Passage of the PRO Act “would greatly increase the political power of organized labor, restore its declining membership, and put it in a position to play a decisive role in winning all kinds of progressive legislation, including worker protections in a GND,” according to Nagin. “It would turn the GND into a ‘Blue-Green New Deal.’”

Dem Rep. Al Green: I’m going to force an impeachment vote on Trump after yesterday’s Ilhan Omar tweets

Westlake Legal Group t-3 Dem Rep. Al Green: I’m going to force an impeachment vote on Trump after yesterday’s Ilhan Omar tweets tweets Trump The Blog impeachment Ilhan Omar House democrats Al Green

A strange but true fact that I learned today from a Politico reporter: Unlike most other business in the House, because impeachment is “privileged” any single member can force a floor vote on whether to take it up. Normally the Speaker gets to decide what comes to the floor and what doesn’t; a rare exception to that is a discharge petition, but that requires the support of 218 members. Impeachment is different. If Al Green, or anyone else, wants to tell Pelosi that he’s tired of waiting around for her to get serious about this, apparently he can force the issue.

He’s ready to force it after Trump’s “go back to where you came from” tweets about Ilhan Omar and the “Squad.”

“To tolerate bigotry when you can do something about bigotry is to perpetuate it,” Green said in an interview Monday. “I will not tolerate the level of bigotry emanating from the president, especially in policy.”

The House voted 364 to 58 in December 2017, with Republicans in the majority, on a motion to table Green’s previous impeachment push. Green said Monday that things have changed: “I have had enough. I believe a good many of my colleagues have had enough. We’ll find out how many. And I think the American people are fed up with this behavior . . . This is the only place, by the way, where the president can be checked. There’s no other place.”…

“This deals with our original sin — it deals with the hatred and bigotry that has developed through the years for people of color, for members of the LGBTQ community, the trans community, those who are of the Islamic faith, those who are of the Jewish faith. It’s about people who have been marginalized and how we cannot allow the president of the United States to . . . fuel the flame of confusion as it relates to this level of bigotry.”

So there’s yet another reason why Pelosi’s decision to vote on a resolution condemning Trump for the tweets is a no-brainer. If she doesn’t offer her caucus some way to denounce Trump short of impeachment, some may feel obliged to proceed with Green’s impeachment articles. And there’d be no good outcome for Dems from that vote. The motion to proceed with impeachment wouldn’t pass, but if it drew a surprisingly large amount of support the GOP could use it as turnout fuel for the election. (“The Democratic mania to remove the president from office is getting worse!”) Even if it didn’t draw much support, it’d be an embarrassment to Pelosi personally to have her caucus voting on something as radical as opening debate on impeachment against her wishes. Worse, as Politico notes, tepid Democratic support would let Trump boast that he’d been cleared by the House. Her best option to sideline Green is to float her own, lesser resolution condemning POTUS, ask Dems to line up behind that one instead, and hope Green gives up.

And the sooner the better, I think. Dem aides had hinted earlier that they were in no rush to bring the denunciation to the floor for a vote, preferring to let this play out in the press and watch Republicans snipe at each other. But the longer it drags out, the greater the risk that Trump will up the ante somehow, more Dems will get angry, and Green’s attempt to open impeachment proceedings will gain support. AOC and the “Squad” are apt to shoot their mouths off too about this, and as the two sides egg each other on, the risk that it’ll get out of Pelosi’s control will increase. Which is fine if she thinks this issue is a pure winner for Dems! But it probably isn’t, and Pelosi’s not the sort of ideologue prone to thinking that any dispute, especially a culture-war dispute, is all upside for her own team. She’s cautious. I think she’ll call the vote soon and try to move past this.

Over at NRO today, Charles Cooke tried to untangle the legal and moral threads here. Legally, he notes, of course it’s true that Ilhan Omar has the same right as any other citizen to criticize her country and shouldn’t be asked to leave because it makes someone else unhappy. Morally, however, it’s also true that her critics are entitled to think she’s an ingrate for obsessing over what she perceives to be America’s failures after the country quite literally saved her life.

The United States saved her from a warzone, let her stay, accepted her as a citizen, and then elected her to Congress. If one can’t be grateful for that, what can one be grateful for?…

It is absolutely reasonable for them to consider her an ingrate — or to believe, as David does, that she is “a toxic presence in American politics.” And it is absolutely reasonable for them to wonder aloud how a person who hails from a dysfunctional, dangerous place built atop dysfunctional, dangerous institutions can exhibit the temerity — the sheer gall — to talk about America in the way that she does. There is a big difference between saying “I oppose current federal tax policy” or “I want more spending on colleges” or “the president is an ass,” and saying that America needs complete rethinking. As this Washington Post piece makes clear, Omar isn’t just irritated by a few things. She thinks the place is a disaster.

The irony of Trump’s tweets singling out her and the Squad for their backgrounds is that most of the loudest voices out there who share their ideological affliction don’t share their backgrounds. Oodles of white native-born American citizens on the DSA’s membership rolls agree with all four corners of Ilhan Omar’s platform. (That was one of the nastier knocks on AOC during the Democratic barroom brawl this weekend, in fact, that she’s supposedly a convenient minority spokeswoman for a movement that tends to be extremely white in make-up.) Progressivism in practice typically means not just recognizing the country’s social and economic problems, not just demanding redress, but staring into that flame until you no longer detect the ambient light from the country’s virtues. Omar’s relentless in her criticism because blindness is a sign of devotion. Imagine how hard and how long you need to stare into the flame for everything else to go completely dark.

Via the Free Beacon, here she is a few days ago winning over the Nutroots by doing the traditional progressive two-step: It’s only because I love America so very, very much that I must seek to transform it from top to bottom.

After Pelosi-AOC Fight, Liberal NY Times Columnist Suddenly Finds Race Card Tactic Offensive

On Friday, I wrote about how the Congressional Black Caucus played the “let me show you how it’s done” game with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) after she insinuated in a Wednesday interview that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (CA) was singling out the Queenie Quartet because they were “women of color.”

As it turns out, all this race card playing back and forth has really upset New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, whose interview with Pelosi a few weeks ago was what set off the AOC firestorm.

We’ll get to that in a minute, but first, a brief recap of what went down Friday – via The Hill:

Congressional Black Caucus members are furious at Justice Democrats, accusing the outside progressive group aligned with firebrand Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) of trying to oust lawmakers of color, specifically African American lawmakers.

[…]

“It just seems strange that the social Democrats seem to be targeting members of the Congressional Black Caucus, individuals who have stood and fought to make sure that African Americans are included and part of this process,” Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.), a senior CBC member, told The Hill.

“I don’t know what that agenda is, but if they want to come after members of the Black Caucus, it’s two ways,” warned Meeks, the Queens Democratic Party boss who clashed with Justice Democrats in a local district attorney race last month.

Meeks’s “it’s two ways” comments were in reference to Ocasio-Cortez playing the race card against Pelosi just two days prior:

“When these comments first started, I kind of thought that she was keeping the progressive flank at more of an arm’s distance in order to protect more moderate members, which I understood,” Ocasio-Cortez told the Post.

“But the persistent singling out … it got to a point where it was just outright disrespectful … the explicit singling out of newly elected women of color,” she added.

In response to the escalation in the public infighting between the two camps, Dowd wrote a column Saturday in which she noted she had suddenly discovered how harmful leveling false accusations of racism against someone is:

Pelosi told me, after the A.O.C. Squad voted against the House’s version of the border bill and trashed the moderates — the very people who provided the Democrats the majority — that the Squad was four people with four votes. She was talking about a legislative reality. If it was a knock, it was for abandoning the party.

That did not merit A.O.C.’s outrageous accusation that Pelosi was targeting “newly elected women of color.” She slimed the speaker, who has spent her life fighting for the downtrodden and who was instrumental in getting the first African-American president elected and passing his agenda against all odds, as a sexist and a racist.

A.O.C. should consider the possibility that people who disagree with her do not disagree with her color.

Gee, ya think?

Dowd continued, condemning another tactic frequently used by the Queenie Quartet: The “You’re putting my life in danger with your dissent” tactic:

The young lawmaker went further, implying that the speaker was putting the Squad in danger, asking why Pelosi would criticize them, “knowing the amount of death threats” and attention they get. Huh?

[…]

The progressives act as though anyone who dares disagree with them is bad. Not wrong, but bad, guilty of some human failing, some impurity that is a moral evil that justifies their venom.

It would be truly touching if Dowd had come to these conclusions out of a sincere desire to bury the offensive tactic of falsely playing the race/woman/danger card to silence your opposition. She’s not. The only reason why the accusations from AOC towards Pelosi offended Dowd was because they were a distraction from what she feels should unite them both: Defeating Trump:

In the age of Trump, there is no more stupid proposition than that Nancy Pelosi is the problem. If A.O.C. and her Pygmalions and acolytes decide that burning down the House is more important than deposing Trump, they will be left with a racist backward president and the emotional satisfaction of their own purity.

In other words, it’s ok to play the race card as long as your target is a Republican or conservative.

Liberals are nothing if not predictable.

Black Law Professor Sees Red When White Student Walks Into Classroom Wearing MAGA Hat

Westlake Legal Group A76A17E1-21DE-40FD-98CF-1A14688344AD Black Law Professor Sees Red When White Student Walks Into Classroom Wearing MAGA Hat Social Justice racism Paul Caron Jonathan Turley Jeffrey Omari Howard Wasserman Front Page Stories Featured Story donald trump democrats Campaigns Allow Media Exception Academia 2020

President Trump in MAGA Hat

Visiting Assistant Professor Jeffrey Omari, an African-American, saw red – in his peripheral vision. A student walked into his classroom wearing a MAGA hat.

Given the large number of college students who lean to the left politically, I’m always pleased to see a young person wearing a MAGA hat. But for many, the mere sight of a MAGA hat triggers a visceral reaction, as it does for Professor Omari.

For Omari,

MAGA is an undeniable symbol of white supremacy and hatred toward certain nonwhite groups.

For its supporters, MAGA indexes an effort to return to a time in American history when this country was “great” for some—particularly, propertied white men—but brutally exclusionary for others, most notably women and people of color.

Thus, in that moment, I was unsure whether the student was directing a hateful message toward me or if he merely lacked decorum and was oblivious to how his hat might be interpreted by his black law professor. I presumed it was the former. As the student sat there directly in front of me, his shiny red MAGA hat was like a siren spewing derogatory racial obscenities at me for the duration of the one hour and fifteen-minute class.

“His shiny red MAGA hat was like a siren spewing derogatory racial obscenities at me.” Hmmm.

I find that to be extreme, but I suppose one’s feelings are one’s feelings.

He noted that he had taken an informal survey of his colleagues and none had ever had a student wear “such propaganda” in their classrooms. He wrote, “This furthered my contention that this student was indeed trying to intimidate and/or racially antagonize me.”

Omari carries on for quite a while detailing his inner turmoil over the student in the red hat. Is this just a really severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome?

Omari considers what course to take. IANAL, but the way I see it, his only option is to accept that, once in a while, he will be forced to sit in a room with an individual wearing a MAGA hat. What the hell else can he do?

In the end, he wrote an op-ed in the ABA (American Bar Association Journal) and took no further action.

The full op-ed can be viewed here.

At any rate, Paul Caron, the Dean of Pepperdine University School of Law, decided to ask several law professors to weigh in on the situation. Here’s what they had to say.

Howard Wasserman (Florida International)

He called Omari’s reaction “absurd.” As long as school’s rules allow “students to wear a baseball hat with any political message in the classroom, in what way did this student fail to meet his “professional expectations”? Other than by wearing a hat with a message the prof does not like.”

Jonathan Turley (George Washington)

“[Professor Omari’s op-ed] demonstrates the increasingly shrill environment faced by conservative students. Omari took to the pages of the Journal to recount his almost breathless encounter with a student wearing a “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) hat. Most of us are used to students wearing political hats and teeshirts. I am always happy to see students with such clothing because it shows that they are engaged and passionate regardless of their views. For Omari, the incident was chilling since he declares the MAGA hats worn by many conservatives to be per se racist symbols. Omari insisted that anyone wearing the hats are advancing “racial antagonism” since they are an “undeniable symbol of white supremacy.” …

The mere fact that some kid wears a MAGA hat does not mean that he is a racist or that he is trying to racially intimidate an African-American professor. Omari simply concludes that the hat was by definition improper and inciting but that he would receive no support given his position and race. … Omari assumed that the interpretation of the hat (which is not shared by many) was manifestly true. This is part of the trend that we have discussed on campuses where speech is being curtailed as racist or microaggressive based on how it is perceived by others as opposed to how it is intended. In this case, the hat has different meaning to different people. Yet, Omari believes that it should have been barred from the classroom.”

Scott Greenfield (Simple Justice)

“The problem isn’t that Omari is wrong in his “undeniable” belief, but that his belief doesn’t dictate what is allowable by others or what others mean by the monumentally banal act of wearing a hat reflecting the political views of millions upon millions of perfectly nice Americans.

As the professor, one could fairly respond to Omari to grow up, suffer the indignities of his feelings and do his job without his self-serving snark and deep hurt at a hat. Or, if one is of the view that the person feeling most victimized gets to set the rules for his oppressors, shift the burden to student to meet Omari’s claim of legal professionalism by removing the trappings of his political sensitivities.

Who is responsible for Omari’s feelings? When did a hat become so powerful that it made grown men cry and write polemics, even if in the dulcet tones of the Academy? Which tribe feels their claim of victimhood entitles them to dictate to the other half a nation what they’re allowed to wear lest they’re insensitive, racist or both?”

Marty Lederman (Georgetown)

“[W]as it reasonable for Omari to see the MAGA hat as such a symbol, given its common usage in the past few years? And, more to the point, was his student being at least insensitive, or “oblivious,” to the fact that his African-American teacher would likely view it as such?

Even if one were to answer both of these questions “yes,” it would not mean, of course, that the teacher or school should prohibit the cap–and Omari doesn’t suggest otherwise. But wouldn’t it mean that the student acted inappropriately here, in a manner that warrants at least some criticism, even if the student himself did not intend to convey such a message?”

Scott Fruehwald (Legal Skills Prof Blog)

“[T]he ABA article was not appropriate. Students and probably professors at Gonzaga can certainly identify the student. A professor has publicly shamed a student when his actions were probably innocent. A professional teacher does not do this.”

But wasn’t that most likely the professor’s goal? I mean, if we’re going to apply his metric of accepting the most cynical view possible, doesn’t it make sense to assume that the professor’s goal was effectively to dox the student? What possible ramification is the professor going to face other than a little light chiding on an internet board?”

This Week’s Democrat Polling in Archer GIFs

New NBC/Wall Street Journal polling is out on the current field of Democratic Candidates and, seeing as it’s a Monday, we will need GIFs to deal with this.

So, here’s how things are going with the entire field:

Just like last week (which I explained in Taylor Swift lyrics), Joe Biden comes out on top. In this poll, he’s got 26% of the vote. I guess they don’t care that he’s a creeper who just can’t keep his hands to himself.

Next, we have Elizabeth Warren with 19%. Remember how she pretended to be native American to get ahead in life and then pretended it was no biggie? She kind of reminds me of Mallory.

Kamala Harris is coming in at 13% and will promise pretty much anything to raise those numbers. She’s kind of like Cheryl Tunt.

In fourth place is Bernie Sanders, also polling at 13%. He is still as economically literate as ever, leading the electorate to beg of him, as Archer begs Lana:

(preferably one on economics)

7% of poll respondents chose “not sure”as their candidate of choice. These votes are up for grabs, so the candidates are ready to sweeten the pot.

Next, also at 7%, is Pete Buttigieg“Mayor Pete,” as he’s known spends most of his time talking about the fact that he’s gay and has a husband, which nobody really cares about, but he really really wants us to.

He wants to be able to complain like Dr. Krieger.

In this poll, 2% of the voters wouldn’t choose any of these people. They’re like:

This week’s honorable mention goes to Bill deBlasiowho has less than 1% of the vote, and the time he killed a groundhog by pulling a Pam.

I would also like to welcome Tom Steyer to the race! As a billionaire, he has the most in common with railroad heiress Cheryl Tunt, and I imagine going to his house would be something like this.

Ayanna Pressley Goes On Racially Tinged, Homophobic Rant at Netroots Nation

Netroots Nation continues to not disappoint. We’ve seen all manner of crazy exhibit itself at the mainline progressive conference, from Ilhan Omar saying Palestinian opposition is “non-violent,” to an abortion being demonstrated on a watermelon.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley showed up as well to do the typical rah-rah liberal but this time it got a little out of hand.

Well, alright then.

Let’s game out some hypothetical. Imagine for a moment that this was a Republicans making such callous and dismissive remarks of minority groups. Let’s pretend it’s Ted Cruz at CPAC and he launches into a rant about how “we don’t need brown faces” and “we don’t need queers” who don’t ascribe to his exact political ideology. How would that be received? Would it be a major scandal? Would CNN’s Brian Stelter literally need smelling salts?

Heck, the phrasing alone would have been enough to garner at least 48 hours of indignation from the media if this were a Republican. “We don’t need queers?” I thought the Q word was off-limits for straight people? I mean, we just learned that a few weeks ago when Ben Shapiro got hit for logically proclaiming that he doesn’t understand the rules surrounding the word. Why is it acceptable for a straight woman to yell at gay men and women that she doesn’t need them if they don’t think like her?

Worse, she doesn’t think these brown, black, Muslim, and queer people should even have a voice in the conversation of national politics. That sounds pretty racist and homophobic to me if we are using the contemporary standards set form by modern society.

None of this sat well with some, for obvious reasons.

This is all especially ironic given the current outrage over Donald Trump’s latest tweet storm. We are currently in the middle of a full blown freak out of his supposed racism for sloppily attacking Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “squad.” Wall to wall coverage is ensuing with the media demanding reaction from every Republican office holder down to your local dog catcher.

Meanwhile, a Democrat Congresswomen can tell entire races, as well as gay people and Muslims that she wants them to shut up and go away if don’t agree with her and it’s all good. No coverage. No outrage. Not even a question of whether her phrasing was off. It’s like it never happened.

This is why the latest demands to condemn Donald Trump will fall on mostly deaf ears. The left and their media enablers have spent decades building ridiculous double standards. These are the same people who couldn’t even be bothered to push back on Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitic comments. But now I’m supposed to respond with righteous indignation of Trump and proclaim he’s a racist for simply being the bull in a china shop he’s always been? Yeah, sorry, not playing that game.

CNN Calls Trump a Racist for Controversial Tweet, then CNN Contributor Does the Exact Same Thing

Westlake Legal Group Untitled-1-2-620x335 CNN Calls Trump a Racist for Controversial Tweet, then CNN Contributor Does the Exact Same Thing tweet Ted Cruz racism Politics Melania Trump Media Marco Rubio Front Page Stories donald trump democrats CNN Ana Navaro Allow Media Exception

Whenever Trump does something that the left proclaims is an affront to civility, you can probably just count the minutes until the left does the exact same thing in an effort to “clapback.”

Take, for instance, Anna Navarro. Navarro is one of a multitude of leftists who found Trump’s comments racist, xenophobic, and whatever accusation you want to throw at it.

In her moment of self-righteousness, Navarro decided then that now was the time to turn it around on Republicans because, somehow, using the same arguments that Trump use except on Republicans somehow makes Trump’s “racist” comments okay now.

“If we’re going to start sending people back. I don’t know. You know, listen, Ted Cruz was born in Canada. Marco Rubio’s parents were born in Cuba,” said Navarro during a segment on CNN. “Melania Trump was born where? Slovenia. How about her parents who are here through family immigration?”

As I expressed in an earlier article on Monday, Trump’s tweet had it’s issues, but it wasn’t racist. Also, contrary to Navarro’s rant here, Trump also made it clear that he wasn’t sending these women back to these countries permanently, as if that’s where they belong. He said that they should go there, solve the problems in those countries, then come back here. The point, while mired in unnecessary verbiage, can be easily gleaned. Trump is saying that if they hate this country so much, then how about they spend time in countries that actually do have the problems these women claim they do.

It’s likely that most of the left hasn’t even actually read Trump’s tweet, or at least have and did some mental gymnastics in order to arrive at the conclusion that it is about race and not appreciating America.

Regardless, Navarro is 110 percent certain that Trump is advocating that these women be sent back to the countries of their origin and, in order to own the cons, turned it around and promoted the idea that other leaders with foreign backgrounds should be deported too.

Let me point out the obvious here, just in case some of my left-leaning readers are missing it. Trump didn’t advocate for sending these women back to a country permanently, just to fix the problems that these countries have. Navarro did.

Not that it matters anyway. Melania, Rubio, and Cruz aren’t complaining about how horrible the United States is. They don’t need to be sent anywhere to see how horrible things are in order to appreciate what’s going on here in America.

Despite that fact, Rubio is actually willing to go to Venezuela in order to flex on the despotic socialistic leaders a bit because he understands how good things can be here in America, and even threatened the leaders at their own border not to stop humanitarian aid from reaching the people. Is Omar doing that in Somalia? Probably not, because women aren’t exactly respected there.

Was Trump’s tweet bad? It definitely has it’s issues. Was it racist? No, it wasn’t. Navarro, without knowing it, played herself here by turning a perceived racist meaning in Trump’s tweet and essentially advocating the very thing she just classified as racist.
