As Red State‘s Bonchie wrote Saturday, Quillette editor and independent journalist Andy Ngo was viciously attacked by a mob of Antifa thugs during a Saturday demonstration in Portland, Oregon.

A brief recap via Fox News:

At least three people were arrested and several others were reported injured, as members of Antifa and other leftist groups clashed with members of the Proud Boys and other conservatives around downtown Portland, Ore., on Saturday, police said.

One of those injured was Andy Ngo, a conservative writer who appeared to have been attacked by Antifa members, the Oregonian reported. Ngo later posted a photo of himself from a hospital, with bruises, cuts and scratches on his face.

Some of the demonstrators turned violent, throwing milkshakes said to be mixed with quick-drying cement, raw eggs and pepper spray. The gatherings were deemed “civil disturbance and unlawful assembly” by the Portland Police Bureau and the perpetrators were believed to include members of both sides.

Ngo, who is well-known for documenting Antifa violence and questioning mainstream media standards, was unfortunately badly injured in the attacks, which Twitchy documented here.

Fortunately, per Ngo’s attorneys, he has been cleared to leave the hospital and will share his full story soon:

In the midst of all the back and forth over the weekend about what happened to Ngo and others on the ground who were at the demonstration to capture Antifa’s violence on video, several Twitter users started posting flashbacks to when broadcast journalists and their liberal guests defended Antifa’s thuggish tactics. In some cases, Antifa was compared to WWII heroes who stormed the Normandy beaches.

In response, Tom Elliott posted a video montage of mainstream media reporters and liberal commentators rushing to stand up for Antifa:

Nick Fondacaro from Newsbusters also posted a lengthy Twitter thread recapping the numerous instances of journalists and their liberal guests defending Antifa’s militant tactics. Here are just a few of his many tweets on the issue:

Read the full thread unrolled here.

Keep all of this in mind the next time mainstream media types and Democrats try to lecture you about how we must restore civility in the public discourse.

Snopes Reports on Andy Ngo Assault, Shows Why Their Site Is a Dumpster Fire

As we reported a few days ago, journalist Andy Ngo was assaulted by Antifa members in Portland, OR. Ngo has covered the violent, anarchist movement extensively, something the mainstream media are too biased and cowardly to do.

In response, we saw all manner of ridiculousness, including many blue checkmark “journalists” justifying what happened and insinuating (or outright saying) that Ngo deserved to be beaten.

One outlet that reported on what happened was fact-checking site Snopes. Once a reliable source, they’ve decided that being woke is more important than being accurate. See this headline for an example.

There’s so much wrong here.

One, Quillette is not a “conservative site.” It’s a center-left site. The fact that Ngo finds Antifa objectionable and worthy of coverage does not make him a right-winger. Ngo is an editor at the site. It’s not an arbitrary description he gave himself.

Secondly, Ngo did not “say” he was attacked. He was attacked. That’s not in dispute. When that tweet went up, there were already multiple videos in circulation showing the assault.

You’d think a fact-checking website could affirm such basic details when reporting on the story. Instead, they framed the entire ordeal as in question because it involved the beating of someone they view as being on the right.

Recently, it came out that Snopes is dealing with financial trouble and is locked in a contentious legal battle. That’s probably for the best.

Leftist Journalists React to the Andy Ngo Assault by Antifa With All the Flippancy You’d Expect

Westlake Legal Group Antifa-Berkeley-620x328 Leftist Journalists React to the Andy Ngo Assault by Antifa With All the Flippancy You’d Expect Violence Politics Media Mainstream leftists Journalists Front Page Stories Featured Story democrats assault antifa Andy Ngo Allow Media Exception

After the violent assault by Antifa on reporter Andy Ngo, the domestic terrorist group supported by many a leftist became the topic of conversation. It’s fair to say that they weren’t discussed kindly.

True to form, the leftist media immediately began running defense on Twitter as the Daily Caller highlighted, starting with Alheli Picazo who said Ngo’s attackers deserve to be praised for their violence because Ngo was somehow asking for it.

Founder of Bernard Media, Nathan Bernard, acted like Ngo was getting something he wished for and complained that “far-right simpletons” would make this an issue for weeks.

In another tweet, Bernard suggested Ngo knew he was going to be attacked and as a result became wealthy off of it.

Charlie Warzel of the New York Times said that violence shouldn’t be acceptable, but that Ngo was essentially provoking them into violence just by being there. He suggested that this is what Ngo wanted and that this attack on him can now be used as fuel for the culture war.

Guardian writer Jason Wilson penned a report about the “left-wing marches” and mentioned Antifa’s attack on Ngo, mentioning that Ngo was hit with milkshakes and that police claim “without evidence” that they contained quick drying cement. It does mention the attack Ngo underwent by Antifa, but quickly shifts gears to note that the right is now giving him money.

Wilson does not mention Antifa once:

Milkshakes, recently used around the world as a symbolic weapon against prominent figures on the far right, became a theme of the day. Portland police claimed without offering evidence that some milkshake cups had been filled with quick-drying cement.

Actual milkshakes were used by leftwing protesters. A videographer and editor for the rightwing magazine Quillette, Andy Ngo, had one dumped on him early in the day.

Another incident involving Ngo captured attention, particularly on the right. Widely shared video taken by the Oregonian journalist Jim Ryan appeared to show Ngo being hit by counter-protesters and sprayed with silly string. Ryan tweeted: “Didn’t see how this started, but Ngo got roughed up.”

Ngo said he had been attacked and hospitalised, and posted to social media pictures of apparent facial abrasions. With significant backing from rightwing media and political figures, by late Saturday a crowdfunding website for Ngo had raised more than $60,000.

It should be noted that Wilson’s name recently appeared in a study conducted by Eoin Lenihan than showed the Twitter connections of various journalists to Antifa. According to Lenihan, who wrote about the story at Quillette, Wilson has a history of being embedded in Antifa protests and has penned various pro-Antifa articles.

It’s odd that the left’s army of journalists can nod and pump their fist along with claims that “free speech” is violence and scream that the very notion of blaming the victim when it comes to sexual assault and rape is a grave sin unworthy of modern society.

Yet a reporter being beaten up and having his equipment stolen from him is apparently justifiable because he was somehow asking for it by being there. The rage suddenly disappears from mainstream reporters that a person not doing anything but recording the events had violence visited upon him despite the fact that they clutch their pearls and claim violence will come from someone like President Donald Trump calling the press the enemy of the people.

In truth, this is a very big deal. It shows us just how far the left will go in order to push a 1984-esque environment on the population.

It shouldn’t matter if Ngo is in opposition to Antifa. He has a right to be there just like anybody else does in a public space. If they have a problem with his stances, then they should be able to debate or handle the situation like civilized adults.

Antifa doesn’t. They can’t. Mainstream reporters don’t seem to care, or worse, sympathize.

Leftists More Easily Manipulated by TV and Film According to New Survey

There’s a reason Hollywood celebrities continue to make cringe-worthy PSA’s and it’s because they have a high success rate of changing the minds of those who lean left.

According to a survey done by Morning Consult and The Hollywood Reporter, those who lean left are more easily susceptible to suggestions by the things they see in hear on the silver screen or what they see on their home screens as reported by the Daily Wire:

The survey asked: “To what extent has your opinion about racism been changed by a docuseries, movie, or TV show like ‘Green Book’ or ‘Crash’?”

17% of Democrats and 4% of Republicans responded with “a lot,” in contrast with 10% of all persons surveyed.

The survey asked: “To what extent has your opinion about sexism been changed by a docuseries, movie, or TV show like ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ or ‘A League of Their Own’?”

14% of Democrats and 5% of Republicans responded with “a lot,” in contrast with 10% of all persons surveyed.

The survey asked: “To what extent has your opinion about LGBTQ people been changed by a docuseries, movie, or TV show like ‘Brokeback Mountain’ or ‘Modern Family’?”

15% of Democrats and 5% of Republicans responded with “a lot,” in contrast with 10% of all persons surveyed.

The survey asked: “To what extent has your opinion about climate change been changed by a docuseries, movie, or TV show like ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ or ‘Planet Earth’?”

The difference was more stark on this question. 27% of Democrats and 7% of Republicans responded with “a lot,” in contrast with 18% of all persons surveyed.

The differences remain pretty static until the question about how things seen on the screen effect environment.

The study doesn’t go into why this may be, but if I were to throw a theory out, it’s one of two things. Either those who lean Republican are naturally more inclined to be less lead by things they often understand to be fiction, or — and this is more likely — Republicans and those who lean right have been trained over time to not believe what the mainstream media pumps out.

Since the right is often maliciously targeted by the media, and many documentaries are geared toward pushing a leftist narrative than an accurate one, the right has become wary of media manipulation. Especially in the age of the internet where proof of media falsehoods are just a click away, the right tends to immediately disbelieve or withhold judgement on what’s presented to them, while the left is ready to have its biases confirmed once the mainstream presents their own beliefs back to them.

I say the latter is more accurate because no one is immune to confirmation bias, but in the age when the left is in firm control over the mainstream media, it’s much easier for those on the right to be tougher nuts to crack in terms of manipulation.

Let Us Finally Declare Internet Independence from Net Neutrality Overreach

Behold the Internet.  A free speech-free market Xanadu – developed entirely by the eternal wonderment of unfettered free markets.

The Left has ignored entirely the ongoing, rolling success of the government-free Net – and instead incessantly proclaimed looming doom if we didn’t immediately impose massive government upon it.

The very dumb regulations of which most of us have heard – Network Neutrality.

Which is part inherent dumbness – and part Trojan Horse dumbness to sneak in even more dumbness.

As with nigh all things Left – Net Neutrality is an assault on the free market.  Specifically some really rudimentary free market activities.

Paid Prioritization

You can pay the government Post Office different amounts of money for different delivery speeds.

Net Neutrality is the government stupidly prohibiting us from doing the exact same thing on the Web.

Which means the surgeon performing remote Internet surgery – can not pay extra for extra speed.  So as to clear himself and his operation from the masses watching “Panda Sneezes” videos on YouTube.

So the connection buffers, the surgery goes bad – and you die.  But at least everyone on the Internet was squeezed down by Net Neutrality to micro-size and mal-normal “equality.”  And that’s what’s really important.

Free Stuff

Nigh every business everywhere offers you package deals – that get you multiple items for less coin than the items purchased a la carte.

Fast food joints offer you “meals.”  Sandwiches, sides and drinks – bundled together at a lower aggregate price.

Do that with anything involving the Internet – and the Net Neutrality sirens sound.

AT&T Squeezes Net Neutrality with Free Ride for DirecTV:

“If your phone or tablet gets its wireless service AT&T and a DirecTV subscriber, here’s some good news: you can now watch DirecTV on your mobile device without this counting against your data plan….(T)he implication is clear: streaming DirecTV will cost you less than other services.”

Sounds great, right?  Very consumer friendly.  Except….

“The rub: What’s good news…for AT&T customers may be bad news for net neutrality.”

Westlake Legal Group Facebook-NetNeutrality-022615_0 Let Us Finally Declare Internet Independence from Net Neutrality Overreach Title II Technology republicans Regulation progressives Politics Policy Partisanship News network neutrality Net Neutrality Media Internet Government Front Page Stories Front Page Economy donald trump democrats Congress Business & Economy Bipartisanship bipartisan

Who CARES if it’s bad for Net Neutrality – for its own sake?

If you must make things WORSE for consumers in order to save Net Neutrality – and you must – well then Net Neutrality is titanically stupid.

Net Neutrality freaks must destroy the Internet – in order to save it.

But this is Washington, DC about which we are speaking.  Inherent dumbness is considered not a bug – but a virtue.

We’ve now spent nearly two decades seeing how stupid und unnecessary Net Neutrality is.  Yet like a heinous rash – it keeps flaring up.

Which is awful uncertainty for everyone trying to actually provide us access to the Internet.  And keeps open the threat of even dumber government – Title II Reclassification:

“‘While (President Donald Trump FCC Chairman Ajit) Pai agrees with the basic tenets of net neutrality, upholding them does not mean the FCC needs to regulate broadband under 1934 rules designed for the telephone monopoly….

“‘Title II undermines broadband competition. In the five years after the FCC first proposed Title II (2010–15), investment dropped somewhere between $160-$200 billion relative to what it would have been projecting forward from 2005–10, when net neutrality alone was the baseline for investor expectations.’

“In other words – you can have Net Neutrality…without the draconian Title II Democrats are now demanding.”

In the interest of FINALLY making this nonsense go away, three different Republican bills have been filed to impose relatively mild, non-Title II versions of Net Neutrality.

And look – we have the rarest of sightings: Bipartisanship.  Forty-seven House Democrats have publicly agreed to consider a Net Neutrality compromise.

Doing the math (another DC no-no) – means any one of those Republican bills would most likely pass the Democrat House.  In bipartisan fashion – with these forty-seven Democrats on board.

And given every rational person’s thorough nausea with the issue – the Republican Senate would most likely pass it, and Republican President Donald Trump would most likely sign it.

Sadly, in DC, accepting a little dumbness – so as to prevent an unending avalanche of dumbness – is a big win.

And here we are with Net Neutrality.

Although it has been two weeks since Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s absurd comparison of border detention centers to Nazi concentration camps during an Instagram Live video, some Holocaust survivors and experts are still not done with the freshman Congresswoman.

The New York Post reported on Saturday about comments made by 93-year-old Holocaust survivor Ed Mosberg in response to AOC’s refusal to apologize for her remarks:

“She should be removed from Congress. She’s spreading anti-Semitism, hatred and stupidity,” Mosberg told The Post. “The people on the border aren’t forced to be there — they go there on their own will. If someone doesn’t know the difference, either they’re playing stupid or they just don’t care.”

[…]

Mosberg, who lost his entire family during the Holocaust and himself survived both the Plaszów and Mauthausen camps, said: “Her statement is evil. It hurts a lot of people. At the concentration camp, we were not free. We were forced there by the Germans who executed and murdered people — there’s no way you can compare.”

Mosberg was also offended by AOC declining to accept the invitation from his “From the Depths” Holocaust education group to visit Auschwitz:

“She should be taught a lesson,” he said. “If you’re not there, you will never know what happened. She doesn’t want to learn — she’s looking for excuses. I would like to nominate her for the Nobel Prize in stupidity.”

‘Nuff said.

In Unbelievable Comments, Kamala Harris Endorses Forced Busing For Today’s Students

Kamala Harris – Caricature by DonkeyHotey, licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0/Original

If you’ve been following politics the past week, you’ve no doubt heard about the flare up between Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The happened at the first Democrat primary debate last Thursday night and it revolves around Biden’s opposition to a policy in the 1970s and 1980s called forced busing. Harris hit him hard, essentially insinuating racism on the part of Biden for being against the practice. This led to days of fawning media coverage.

The cliff notes version is that the federal government decided it was a good idea to force students to ride school buses for unreasonable amounts of time (sometimes an hour or more) under the guise of forced integration. A child living in a rural area, going to a rural school might end up riding into the inner city, only to end up back at his rural school by the end of the route. It was a nonsensical, widely opposed plan (by both white and black families at a majority rate) that punished students and only exacerbated the issues at play.

That means we need to re litigate it in 2019 because of course we do.

But because the Democratic party never stops becoming more radical, we can’t stop at revising history with unfair attacks on the matter. No, Kamala Harris is now coming out in favor of forced busing, not in the 1970s, but for today’s students.

This is absolute insanity.

Our schools are not segregated today, at least not in any way that the federal government has a role to play. Yes, suburban schools are more likely to be dominated by white students, but it’s not because of racism. It’s because of the freedom of choice to move to those areas away from the cities due to crime, cost, and hassle.

What’s even dumber here is that Harris is opposed to school choice. So she wants to force students to ride buses for hours on end in the name of forced integration, but she won’t just let a black student choose to go to the better school out in the suburbs. If Harris were really concerned about the racial makeup of schools, school choice is the surest way to rectify that and it would actually help students, not just see them riding around on buses for long periods of time.

Like most ridiculous liberal policies, this one is also rife with unintended consequences. What happens when students start doing worse in school from being exhausted after riding the bus for hours? What about the lack of sleep because the bus now comes earlier to make the timing work? What happens when a kid from one area is assaulted in another area they would have never been in except for forced busing? How do school districts that are already cash strapped pay for 2-3x the fuel costs since they’d no longer be able to plan routes based on efficiency?

This is the modern Democratic party. They’ve completely lost their minds. Any idea, no matter how stupid and unworkable, is on the table if it panders to the right group. Now, if it were another candidate, perhaps they’d get push back in the media. Harris checks most of the inter-sectional boxes though, so she’s being treated with kid gloves.

This woman can not be allowed anywhere near the White House. Everything she’s espousing would set the country back decades, from race to economics.

Joe Biden just can’t seem to help himself. The former vice president spoke at a Pride weekend fundraiser on Saturday in Seattle. According to the Seattle Times, guests had paid a minimum of $1,000 to dine at the home of public relations executive and gay rights activist Roger Nyhus and to meet the candidate.

Biden told the crowd that, as vice president, he was one of the first Obama administration officials to support same-sex marriage. He spoke about how far the country has come in terms of recognizing the rights of the LGBT community.

According to the Seattle Times, Biden said that “just five years ago, it would have been acceptable for a businessman to make “fun of a gay waiter.””

His remark was not received well by guests who called out, “Not in Seattle!”

It wouldn’t have been acceptable anywhere in the U.S. to make fun of a gay waiter five years ago or even fifteen years ago. In fact, why would anyone make fun of a gay waiter anyway?

Afterward he attended a second fundraiser at the home of former Microsoft President Jon Shirley and his wife Kim where guests had paid $2,800 each to attend. The host presented Biden as “the best candidate to beat Donald Trump,” and said he would restore “honor, dignity, compassion and honesty to the White House.”

The Shirleys are known for their fine art collection and their home is filled with paintings and sculptures. Following Shirley’s warm complimentary introduction, Biden said it was “great to be back in this great museum.”

How to win friends and influence people!

Here we are sixteen months out from the election. Biden has had a rough week. He spoke endearingly of his segregationist former colleagues, and Kamala Harris turned those remarks into a  club and used it to bludgeon him during the debate. Those comments, on top of his flip-flop-flip on the Hyde Amendment, just cost him the support of one of his largest fundraisers, San Francisco based lawyer Tom McInerney. According to FiveThirtyEight’s post-debate poll, Biden’s support dropped 10 points after his poor performance. And he just can’t seem to stop himself from making unforced errors.

When Biden was riding high last December, he said “I am a gaffe machine.” In reference to President Trump, he added, “But my God, what a wonderful thing compared to a guy who can’t tell the truth.”

Or maybe not.

Perhaps Biden was correct when, during the debate he said, “My time is up.”

FiveThirtyEight partnered with Morning Consult to ask likely voters, “Who do you think won?” In order to get an idea of which candidates gained (or lost) support as a result of their debate performances, they asked likely voters who they would vote for before and after each debate. This enabled them to determine where that support came from (or went to). Their results provide a snapshot of where the candidates stood going into the first debate, their position the next morning and where they finished the morning after the second debate.

The results showed that Kamala Harris was the biggest winner from the first round of debates. Elizabeth Warren and Julian Castro saw modest increases in support. Bernie Sanders and Cory Booker performed somewhat well in their debates, although they did not receive significant increases in support.

Joe Biden was the biggest loser.

Here are some of the significant changes by candidate:

Kamala Harris: Gain: 8.7%

Before first debate: 7.9%

After first debate: 6.3%

After second debate: 16.6%

Change in Favorability: +10.7%

Change in Unfavorability: +1.5%

According to FiveThirtyEight statistics, the increase in Harris’ support came from Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren.

Elizabeth Warren: Gain: 1.8%

Before first debate: 12.6%

After first debate: 18%

After second debate: 14.4%

Change in Favorability: +1%

Change in Unfavorability: -1%

Before first debate: 3.6%

After first debate: 2.8%

After second debate: 2.2%

Change in Favorability: +2.4%

Change in Unfavorability: +6.7%

Many of the lesser known candidates saw an 8-10% increase in their favorability ratings. I would include Corey Booker, Amy Klobuchar, Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, Kirsten Gillibrand, Eric Swalwell, Bill deBlasio, Tim Ryan, Tulsi Gabbard, Jay Inslee, John Delaney, Andrew Yang, John Hickenlooper, Michael Bennet and Marianne Williamson.

Julian Castro increased his favorability by a whopping 18.5%.

Marianne Williamson increased her unfavorability by 16.6%. Next was Andrew Yang by 11%. Eric Swalwell and Michael Bennet each increased their unfavorability by 10.2%, John Hickenlooper by 9.8%, John Delaney by 8.6% and others by lesser amounts.

I agree with comedian and talk show host Bill Maher’s assessment that half of the field should bow out at this point. This would include former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet, former Maryland Rep. John Delaney, Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan, New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, California Rep. Eric Swalwell, spiritual guru Marianne Williamson, tech entrepreneur Andrew Yang, former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke, and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. My colleague, Alex Parker, posted about this last night here.

I would include Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) in that list, and probably Maher would too, but she happened to be a guest on his program when he was discussing the list.

NY Times Op-Ed Recommends CBP Agents Be Publicly Shamed, But Claims ‘This Is Not Doxxing’

New York Times author Kate Cronin-Furman, an assistant professor of human rights, wrote an op-ed on Saturday entitled “The Treatment of Migrants Likely ‘Meets the Definition of a Mass Atrocity’.” Her lede? “Children are suffering and dying. The fastest way to stop it is to make sure those responsible, including the foot soldiers, face consequences.” Cronin-Furman emphasizes that   “this is not an argument for doxxing.”

She sure could have fooled us. She writes:

The identities of the individual Customs and Border Protection agents who are physically separating children from their families and staffing the detention centers are not undiscoverable. Immigration lawyers have agent names; journalists reporting at the border have names, photos and even videos. These agents’ actions should be publicized, particularly in their home communities.

This is not an argument for doxxing — it’s about exposure of their participation in atrocities to audiences whose opinion they care about. The knowledge, for instance, that when you go to church on Sunday, your entire congregation will have seen you on TV ripping a child out of her father’s arms is a serious social cost to bear. The desire to avoid this kind of social shame may be enough to persuade some agents to quit and may hinder the recruitment of replacements. For those who won’t (or can’t) quit, it may induce them to treat the vulnerable individuals under their control more humanely. In Denmark during World War II, for instance, strong social pressure, including from the churches, contributed to the refusal of the country to comply with Nazi orders to deport its Jewish citizens.

The writer cites a pediatrician who traveled to a center and compared it to a “torture facility.” Cronin-Furman agrees with him. She ought to know, she explains, since she has studied mass atrocities for over a decade. The op-ed continues:

If, as appears to be the case, these harsh conditions have been intentionally inflicted on children as part a broader plan to deter others from migrating, then it meets the definition of a mass atrocity: a deliberate, systematic attack on civilians. And like past atrocities, it is being committed by a complex organizational structure made up of people at all different levels of involvement.

Thinking of what’s happening in this way gives us a repertoire of tools with which to fight the abuses, beyond the usual exhortations to call our representatives and donate to border charities.

Those of us who want to stop what’s happening need to think about all the different individuals playing a role in the systematic mistreatment of migrant children and how we can get them to stop participating.

She suggests a variety of remedies. “For someone who is “just following orders,” the prospect of being internationally shamed as a rights abuser and being unable to travel freely may be significant enough to persuade them to stop participating.”

Cronin-Furman doesn’t ask for the addresses of agents be revealed, only that they be publicly shamed. Sounds an awful lot like  doxxing to me.

Instead of employees trying to cope with the throngs of migrants who are trying to enter the U.S. illegally and have been told over and over again that they won’t be allowed in, she claims they are “arguably directly responsible for torture.”

She knows that the same laws were in effect and the same facilities were in operation during the Obama administration. In a 2014 interview with ABC, Obama said, “Do not send your children to the border…if they make it, they will be sent back.”

Obama also said, “Undocumented workers broke our immigration laws, and I believe that they must be held accountable…U.S. border personnel will stem the flow of illegal crossings and speed the return of those who do cross over.”

CBP employees are not trying to inflict torture on children or anyone else. They are trying their best to manage the continuous throngs of migrants who are trying to enter the U.S. illegally. Cronin-Furman’s op-ed is sheer propaganda. She is exploiting the current humanitarian crisis at our southern border for political purposes.

Many Twitter users found Cronin-Furman’s  op-ed to be a bit over the top. Here are a few of their reactions, most of which cite either the op-ed itself or Allapundit’s post (Hotair.com) about it. (Via Twitchy)

From Allapundit: “Hooooo boy.”

From Stephen Miller: “This is not an argument for doxxing” they wrote right after making an argument for doxxing.”

Others:

“This is not an argument for doxxing” they write as they argue for doxxing Border Patrol agents.”

“They are the same agents, doing the same work, under the same policies & in the same facilities as they did under Barack Obama. So this had zero to do with what they do. It has everything to do with who is President.”

“The names of agents Obama had putting kids in cages were never fair game. Or his people that were drone striking weddings. Or Hillary’s staffers that turned Honduras into a warzone kicking off the migrant crisis.
Wanna know why? Because journos are all Dem operatives now.”

“New York Times publishes oped calling for the harassment and doxing of everyone involved in immigration enforcement.”

“(This is absolutely an argument for doxxing)”

“Holy shit. There is only one reason to do this, to expose these agents to abuse and potential violence. The New York Times is run by some seriously sick people.”

“Reminder that the left wants normal people defending the country destroyed.”

“Doxxing law enforcement to own the cons. What could go wrong?”

“So the New York Times supports doxxing. Good to know.”

“Now imagine the NYT saying this about abortionists and clinic workers and all who work for Planned Parenthood. Even given the horror of abortion, we pro lifers have never considered this. This is the left now. Be prepared.”

“The NYT just keeps making Trump’s argument for him.”
