(AP Photo/Jacquelyn Martin)

Democratic 2020 candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren sure does like to virtue signal, and this time she may have signaled a virtue that she doesn’t have at all.

Back in June, Warren wrote a Medium post about how ways that the private prison system is horrendous and fair enough. Incarcerating people for profit isn’t exactly something many would consider an American ideal, and I don’t know many people on the left or the right who have defended it.

Fox News gives an excellent rundown of how expensive and horrible private prisons are if you’re curious.

After giving a spiel about her disgust, Warren notes “this is exploitation, plain and simple,” and that private prisons are “profiteering off cruelty.”

But while Warren is busy standing on a soapbox trying to sound like a crusader standing against all that is unjust, looking into her past investments tells us a different story. In fact, it tells us the exact opposite story.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, Warren invested heavily in an organization that was one of the top shareholders in two of the largest private prison corporations in America:

Warren invested in Vanguard Target Retirement 2025—a retirement account run by the Vanguard Group, an investment management company—which in turn invested more than 30 percent of its money in Vanguard’s domestic stock index fund. Vanguard was the top shareholder of Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), and one of the largest of GEO Group, both private prison companies, according to data from the Securities and Exchange Commission. Vanguard owned more than 12 million CCA shares and nearly 9 million GEO Group shares, which were worth roughly $456 million and $216 million, respectively, in March 2013.

CCA, now called CoreCivic, was already the country’s largest owner of private prisons in 2013, according to an annual report. The company owned or controlled more than 50 correctional or detention facilities in the country, “with a total design capacity of approximately 86,000 beds in 20 states and the District of Columbia.” GEO Group is also one of the largest private prison providers in the country with 66 prison facilities across the world as of 2013. The two companies also operate many Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facilities for illegal immigrants.

If you’re waiting for Warren to explain it, then plan to keep waiting. She was reached out to for comment by the Free Beacon and they never got a response back.

It could be that Warren didn’t know the Vanguard Group was so heavily entrenched with CoreCivic, but it’d be odd that a politician so hell-bent on exposing and eliminating corporate corruption wouldn’t have looked into them. If she didn’t, then she’s not exactly the best person to lead when it comes to fighting the corporations. She can’t even keep her own investments straight in keeping with her supposed “morals.”

This either hypocrisy or negligence. Which one is it, Warren?

It’s no secret that Democratic candidate Beto O’Rourke has been desperate to raise his profile somehow and gain some traction in the 2020 race.

Toward that end, he has been on a recent tear, calling for the banning and what amounts to the confiscation of guns like the AR-15 and the AK-47 by the government. He says that it would mandatory under his administration to turn in such guns.

The media has been giving him a lot of attention for making the push, although it still hasn’t helped his poll numbers which continue to wallow in the basement.

On Thursday, he spoke and again pushed this point.

He seemed not to why this was a particularly bad take about the incident where four students were shot dead at Kent State.

The unarmed students, two of whom weren’t even participating in the protest, were infamously shot by members of the National Guard during a protest there against the Vietnam War on campus, May 4, 1970.

When you’re trying to argue why you should take guns away from the people, perhaps it’s not the best argument to talk about an incident where the government shot the people dead.

Someone want to give Robert Francis a heads-up?

What a way to do in your own argument…

Despite Rampant Speculation of an Unsaid Quid Pro Quo, Evidence Drops That Blows Up That Narrative

Westlake Legal Group a8636803-f428-4e76-ab5b-b516cf1d9e5e-620x317 Despite Rampant Speculation of an Unsaid Quid Pro Quo, Evidence Drops That Blows Up That Narrative Whistle-Blower Report Ukraine Trump True Conservatives Politics phone call No Quid Pro Quo military aid Major Revelation Front Page Stories Front Page Featured Story donald trump democrats bombshell Ben Shapiro

Yesterday afternoon, a major tidbit in the Trump-Ukraine story dropped. Namely, that the Ukrainian government, at the time of the phone call with President Trump, didn’t even know anything about military aid being held up. We’ll get to that in a second, but first some background.

This detail is the key factor in everything. The idea is that Ukraine knew aid was being held up and that Trump was pressuring them with the understanding that they better help him. That is the entire basis for this “scandal.” It forms the supposition that even though there was no explicit quid pro quo, that “come on, of course we know what Trump and Ukraine meant!”

In fact, that supposition formed the groundwork for a lot of “true conservatives” to rush to Twitter and suggest or support impeachment of Trump, complete with snarky tweets about how crazy it is to not see a quid pro quo in the call.

Well, this latest news blows that up to a large extent.

Why is this important? Because you can’t have an unsaid quid pro quo if the other party isn’t even aware of the quid. It’s illogical. For Ukraine to be winking and nodding about getting aid, and for Trump to be pressuring them over the aid, the cardinal bit of knowledge for everyone would have to be that the aid was temporarily held up.

This entire thing is ridiculous on its face. The idea that we’d impeach a President based on pure assumption of what a foreign country may have interpreted never made sense. Now that we find out they didn’t even know anything? What’s left? That Trump was holding his foreign phone calls on a more secure government server? Good luck with that line when the genesis for the setup was two majors leaks of calls with Mexico and Australia.

Once again, a lot of conservatives at certain outlets got way out over their skis. I get they don’t like Trump and see every “scandal” as hope they’ll get Pence and a fresh election in 2020, but how many times does this get to happen before it’s acceptable to acknowledge their game? And to be clear, I’m not talking about Ben Shapiro, quoted above, who actually took a wait and see approach on this from beginning. A lot of anti-Trump conservatives could learn from that tact. You don’t have to rush to buy every left-wing premise the moment it drops. Donald Trump is not getting impeached and he will be the nominee in 2020. Deal with it.

Newly Obtained Documents from Burisma’s Legal Team, State Dept and Ukrainian Government Torpedo Joe Biden’s Story

Westlake Legal Group joe-biden-620x349 Newly Obtained Documents from Burisma’s Legal Team, State Dept and Ukrainian Government Torpedo Joe Biden’s Story Viktor Shokin. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky Ukraine Sally Painter President Trump polling numbers Politics Karen Tramontano John Solomon John Buretta Joe Biden Impeachment of President Trump hunter biden Front Page Stories Featured Story donald trump democrats corruption Allow Media Exception Abuse of Power 2020

The Hill’s John Solomon has gathered over 450 documents from the State Department, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s office, the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, D.C. and the American lawyers representing Burisma (and Hunter Biden) at the time he was employed as a board member and consultant for the company. Solomon is reporting (for the first time) that these documents are in direct conflict with the story Joe Biden has repeatedly told the American people.

Joe Biden, as the Obama administration’s point man for Ukraine, famously boasted that in March 2016, he threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid from the country if they did not fire the Prosecutor General, Viktor Shokin. He claims he made this demand because Shokin was corrupt, rather than because Shokin’s office was planning to interview his son about his questionable business arrangement with Burisma. This claim was strengthened by the fact that Ukraine is known for it’s corruption.

Within a week of Shokin’s firing, Burisma’s legal team met with Ukrainian officials and according to the Ukrainian government’s official memo of the meeting, offered “an apology for dissemination of false information by U.S. representatives and public figures” about the Ukrainian prosecutor. Solomon reports that the legal team’s efforts to secure this meeting began the same day Shokin’s firing was announced. And according to this memo and the legal team’s internal emails, “Burisma’s American team offered to introduce Ukrainian prosecutors to Obama administration officials to make amends.”

Solomon asks:

1.) If the Ukraine prosecutor’s firing involved only his alleged corruption and ineptitude, why did Burisma’s American legal team refer to those allegations as “false information?”

2.) If the firing had nothing to do with the Burisma case, as Biden has adamantly claimed, why would Burisma’s American lawyers contact the replacement prosecutor within hours of the termination and urgently seek a meeting in Ukraine to discuss the case?

Solomon has reported before that Ukrainian prosecutors have made repeated attempts since the summer of 2018 to bring this information to the attention of the U.S. Attorney General. They even hired a retired U.S. attorney to hand deliver this material to the current U.S. attorney in New York, who according to the Ukrainian prosecutors, “showed no interest.”

At that point, they contacted Rudy Giuliani.

During their now immortalized telephone call, between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told Trump, “I’m knowledgeable about the situation. The issue of the investigation of the case is actually the issue of making sure to restore the honesty so we will take care of that and will work on the investigation of the case.” He also asked Trump to forward any relevant evidence because he plans to open an investigation into the Biden/Burisma case.

In December 2015, the New York Times reported that, within weeks of Joe Biden becoming the Obama administration’s point man in Ukraine Hunter Biden had been hired by Burisma. The article said that the company and its founder, Mykola Zlochevsky, were currently under investigation by Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s office.

Solomon has received documents which he claims “detail an effort to change the narrative after the Times story about Hunter Biden, with the help of the Obama State Department. He has also sued the State Department for all records related to these meetings. He writes:

Hunter Biden’s American business partner in Burisma, Devon Archer, texted a colleague two days after the Times story about a strategy to counter the “new wave of scrutiny” and stated that he and Hunter Biden had just met at the State Department. The text suggested there was about to be a new “USAID project the embassy is announcing with us” and that it was “perfect for us to move forward now with momentum.”

Solomon published a video in April of Joe Biden bragging about his threat to withhold “the billion” if Shokin wasn’t fired by the time he left the country in six hours.

Some media outlets have reported that, at the time Joe Biden forced the firing in March 2016, there were no open investigations. Those reports are wrong. A British-based investigation of Burisma’s owner was closed down in early 2015 on a technicality when a deadline for documents was not met. But the Ukraine Prosecutor General’s office still had two open inquiries in March 2016, according to the official case file provided me. One of those cases involved taxes; the other, allegations of corruption. Burisma announced the cases against it were not closed and settled until January 2017.

After I first reported it in a column, the New York Times and ABC News published similar stories confirming my reporting.

Joe Biden continues to cling to his story that he acted “over concerns about corruption and ineptitude.”

However, Solomon’s newly obtained documents contradict Biden’s claim.

In a newly sworn affidavit prepared for a European court, Shokin testified that when he was fired in March 2016, he was told the reason was that Biden was unhappy about the Burisma investigation. “The truth is that I was forced out because I was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into Burisma Holdings, a natural gas firm active in Ukraine and Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was a member of the Board of Directors,” Shokin testified.

“On several occasions President Poroshenko asked me to have a look at the case against Burisma and consider the possibility of winding down the investigative actions in respect of this company but I refused to close this investigation,” Shokin added.

Documents from Burisma’s American lawyers corroborate Shokin’s statements.

These documents also show that members of the legal team began “moving into Ukraine with intensity as Biden’s effort to fire Shokin picked up steam.” Solomon reports the details.

Burisma’s own accounting records show that it paid tens of thousands of dollars while Hunter Biden served on the board of an American lobbying and public relations firm, Blue Star Strategies, run by Sally Painter and Karen Tramontano, who both served in President Bill Clinton’s administration.

Just days before Biden forced Shokin’s firing, Painter met with the No. 2 official at the Ukrainian embassy in Washington and asked to meet officials in Kiev around the same time that Joe Biden visited there. Ukrainian embassy employee Oksana Shulyar emailed Painter afterward: “With regards to the meetings in Kiev, I suggest that you wait until the next week when there is an expected vote of the government’s reshuffle.”

Ukraine’s Washington embassy confirmed the conversations between Shulyar and Painter but said the reference to a shakeup in Ukrainian government was not specifically referring to Shokin’s firing or anything to do with Burisma.

Painter then asked one of the Ukraine embassy’s workers to open the door for meetings with Ukraine’s prosecutors about the Burisma investigation, the memos show. Eventually, Blue Star would pay that Ukrainian official money for his help with the prosecutor’s office.

At the time, Blue Star worked in concert with an American criminal defense lawyer, John Buretta, who was hired by Burisma to help address the case in Ukraine. The case was settled in January 2017 for a few million dollars in fines for alleged tax issues.

On March 29, 2016, the day Shokin’s firing was announced, Buretta asked to speak with Yuriy Sevruk, the prosecutor named to temporarily replace Shokin, but was turned down, the memos show.

Blue Star, using the Ukrainian embassy worker it had hired, eventually scored a meeting with Sevruk on April 6, 2016, a week after Shokin’s firing. Buretta, Tramontano and Painter attended that meeting in Kiev, according to Blue Star’s memos.

Sevruk memorialized the meeting in a government memo that the general prosecutor’s office provided to me, stating that the three Americans offered an apology for the “false” narrative that had been provided by U.S. officials about Shokin being corrupt and inept.

“They realized that the information disseminated in the U.S. was incorrect and that they would facilitate my visit to the U.S. for the purpose of delivering the true information to the State Department management,” the memo stated.

The memo also quoted the Americans as saying they knew Shokin pursued an aggressive corruption investigation against Burisma’s owner, only to be thwarted by British allies: “These individuals noted that they had been aware that the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine had implemented all required steps for prosecution … and that he was released by the British court due to the underperformance of the British law enforcement agencies.”

The memo provides a vastly different portrayal of Shokin than Biden’s. And its contents are partially backed by subsequent emails from Blue Star and Buretta that confirm the offer to bring Ukrainian authorities to meet the Obama administration in Washington.

For instance, Tramontano wrote the Ukrainian prosecution team on April 16, 2016, saying U.S. Justice Department officials, including top international prosecutor Bruce Swartz, might be willing to meet. “The reforms are not known to the US Justice Department and it would be useful for the Prosecutor General to meet officials in the US and share this information directly,” she wrote.

Buretta sent a similar email to the Ukrainians, writing that “I think you would find it productive to meet with DOJ officials in Washington” and providing contact information for Swartz. “I would be happy to help,” added Buretta, a former senior DOJ official.

Burisma, Buretta and Blue Star continued throughout 2016 to try to resolve the open issues in Ukraine, and memos recount various contacts with the State Department and the U.S. embassy in Kiev seeking help in getting the Burisma case resolved.

Just days before Trump took office, Burisma announced it had resolved all of its legal issues. And Buretta gave an interview in Ukraine about how he helped navigate the issues.

An extraordinary amount of effort was applied to shield Joe Biden and by extension (and most importantly), the Obama administration from the consequences of Biden’s actions.

Fast forward to the present situation.

Joe Biden continues to tell Americans that he forced then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to fire Shokin because he was corrupt.

Documents show the American legal team that represented Burisma and the interests of Hunter Biden offering “an apology for the dissemination of false information by U.S. representatives and public figures” about the Ukrainian prosecutor. Additional records plus a beehive of activity involving lobbyists, diplomats and both U.S. and Ukrainian government officials corroborate this document.

Who would you believe?

In light of Democratic presidential candidates like Beto O’Rourke calling for gun confiscation programs, and the fact that members of the Squad have called gun rights advocates “murderers” with “blood on their hands”, the NRA sent a representative to Washington, DC to ask AOC and the rest of the Queenie Quartet a few questions.

It didn’t go well.

The gun rights organization posted a 2 minute video on Wednesday of their reporter having to practically sprint to keep up with all four freshman Congresswomen as they were asked about Beto’s plan, whether they wanted to take away guns and gun rights, and in AOC’s case if she even knew what an AR-15 looked like.

The video showed that AOC in particular was the most belligerent of the four, only answering questions by asking other questions, labeling the NRA as supporters of white supremacists and advocates of murdering Latino Americans, and all but running away from the woman trying to speak with her:

Watch:

Ocasio-Cortez got wind of the video from Moms Demand’s Shannon Watts and proceeded to launch into a temper tantrum, demanding the “full” video be released:

When the NRA ignored her, she again opened up her elementary school sandbox playbook and gave it another go:

It didn’t work.

I dunno if there is a “full, unedited video” out there or not, but it really doesn’t matter. She’s clearly on record as (again) characterizing law-abiding American citizens as white supremacists who want to see Latino American’s murdered. It’s disgusting, and releasing any supposed “unedited” video won’t change that.

Something else the video makes crystal clear is the fact that neither the AOC nor the rest of the members of The Squad like to be on the receiving end of their own medicine. They love do dish out hate against people who disagree with them on social media, at Democrat-friendly gatherings, on liberal podcasts, and the like. But when it’s them on the hot seat they either clam up or give questioners the “how dare you” treatment.

It’s easy to be a keyboard warrior or a beloved leftist when you only have to play to your adoring crowds. But when you’re in mixed political company, the dynamic changes and they don’t like it.

Bless their hearts.

Democrats Raised Trump $5 Million in Just 24 Hours Thanks to Impeachment Threat

While it’s likely that the Democrat’s impeachment efforts won’t amount to much besides trouble for Joe Biden, the one thing is doing is filling President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign coffers faster scotch glass in a tidal wave.

According to Trump’s 2020 campaign manager, Brad Parscale, in the 24 hours since House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that Democrats would go forward with impeachment proceedings, the GOP has raised $5 million dollars from donors in all 50 states. What’s more, Parscale says that these are only small-dollar donations, not large scale.

Trump and the GOP were pretty much ready to fundraise off the impeachment efforts immediately, and within the first day alone they had already accumulated $1 million. It would appear, however, that donation train was just picking up steam.

Next thing you know, the Trump campaign is rolling around in cash.

This shouldn’t be surprising, given a few factors. Not only are Trump’s approval numbers climbing, polls have also shown that the majority of Americans do not support impeachment at 57 percent.

(READ: Poll Shows The Majority Of Americans Still Don’t Want Trump Impeached)

So far, the only 2020 candidate who seemingly gets that this is more damaging than helpful is Tulsi Gabbard, who told The Hill that it’s not up to Democrat lawmakers as to whether or not Trump should leave office, it’s up to the people.

Add this to the myriad of bad signs for Democrats, not just in terms of their impeachment efforts but also in terms of their success in 2020. They are continuously ignoring the signs and making their campaigns centered around hatred for Trump instead of the American people.

This, in turn, reveals that their faith in the party’s success in 2020 is massively low and that getting Trump out through other means is their only way to power.

NYT Journalist: How Dare Media Report Bad Things About Joe Biden’s ‘Child,’ 49-Year Old Hunter?

An Arkansas woman is suing Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, claiming that he is the father of her child. But she’s encountered problems in the effort because he has been ducking service of process, she says.

Basic news item, right, especially given Hunter being so much in the news?

Hugh Hewitt thought so, when he reported Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) commenting on the lawsuit.

But get a load of the reaction of the NY Times’ Michael Barbaro which Twitchy caught:

Apparently, the 49-year-old “child” of Joe Biden is not allowed to be criticized, according to the New York Times. And anyone daring to do so should be flagged to any liberal media outlets for which they might work for suitable shaming/possible firing.

Is there any clearer example of media carrying water for Democrats than this?

Since when is a 49 year old man a “child?” Not to mention Hewitt wasn’t even criticizing Hunter Biden, but simply quoting Tom Cotton.

And this from a media organ, the Times, which has bashed the grown Trump children at every possible opportunity.

This journalist in particular has gone after Trump’s ‘child,’ Ivanka.

The NY Times hasn’t exactly been covering themselves with glory of late.

But using the concern we all share that people not attack any politician’s minor child to cover the peccadilloes of Hunter Biden and paint him as a victimized child is a stretch, even for the brave firefighters at the New York Times.

Another Supposed Bombshell On Trump-Ukraine Goes Up In Flames

Westlake Legal Group snopes-fake-news-sites-620x344 Another Supposed Bombshell On Trump-Ukraine Goes Up In Flames zelensky Wrong Again Ukraine quid pro quo Politics media bias Front Page Stories Front Page Featured Story fake news donald trump democrats corruption axios advisor ABC News

I feel like I’m writing one of these every few hours because I suppose I am. There’s been so much misinformation reported in regards to the Trump-Ukraine saga that I can hardly keep up at this point. The original reports of a quid pro quo were wrong. The reports that Trump brought up Biden eight times were wrong. Reports the Intel Chief threatened to resign were false. Claims he demanded an investigation were also false. I could keep going.

To put it lightly, the media have gotten almost every detail of this story wrong along the way. I wrote about most of the above in a story yesterday and one of the things I noted was a new claim being bandied about.

Here’s the tweet I quoted and my response.

And look, I like Guy. He works for Townhall, one of our sister sites, and also does Fox News stuff. I’m not trying to pick on him. But at what point do you just wait before running with this stuff? What part of that story is even worth considering right now given how badly these same outlets failed us just a day earlier?

Sure enough, that accusation has now fallen completely apart. It’s almost like clockwork. Maybe I should go play the loto?

But maybe they just got his identity wrong? Perhaps he still had knowledge of what he claimed?

A big nope on that score as well. He has refuted the report.

In other words, this guy was simply repeating media reports that we already know are wrong because we now have the transcript. Nothing more. He was not an advisor to Zelensky and he did not have any knowledge of any precondition being arranged. He pointedly admits that.

Axios rushed to repeat the ABC “scoop” and got caught with their pants down as well. They issued a correction that no one saw.

Ask yourself why these news outlets don’t just take down the original false tweets and stories? The answer is because this is all being done on purpose. It’s about the narrative and as long as they get the fake story to enough people, they’ve accomplished their goal. Once again, there will be no consequences and the same people who fell for this, even after days of provably false reporting, will bit the hook again. It’s a cycle that never stops.

Is This Guy the Ukraine Phone Call Whistleblower?

The legacy media have been spoon-feeding us anti-Trump articles based on “anonymous” sources for over two years now. As they’ve plowed the ground, here is one from me with a decidedly different intent, i.e., to expose a politically-motivated former CIA officer and now a whistleblower with ties to Democrats.

A source known to me at the State Department, who will remain anonymous, tells me that everyone is pointing to Edward “Ned” Price as the whistleblower who came forward with the accusation that President Trump “abused his office” during a phone conversation with the Ukrainian president. Here is how the swamp rag Washington Post characterizes the whistleblower’s complaint:

The whistleblower complaint at the heart of the burgeoning controversy over President Trump’s call with the Ukrainian president claims not only that Trump misused his office for personal gain and endangered national security but that unidentified White House officials tried to hide that conduct.

In forceful language, the unidentified whistleblower alleged that the commander in chief pushed his foreign counterpart to investigate former vice president Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden and that senior White House officials then tried to “lock down” records related to the matter.

The pressure, the whistleblower alleged, came in a phone call July 25 between Trump and President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, an exchange that turned so politically problematic that White House lawyers directed other officials to remove the electronic transcript of the conversation from the computer system where it was stored.

Read the rest here.

Note that the complaint specifically refers to the phone call, which transcript the White House released just yesterday. Any objective reading of that transcript makes it clear that there was no pressure to do ANYTHING exerted on the Ukrainian president by President Trump whatsoever. What President Trump actually did was to solicit Ukraine’s help for an ongoing investigation – a completely lawful interchange! Read it for yourself here if you have only been following legacy media reports about that transcript.

Who is Price? According to Wikipedia:

Edward “Ned” Price (born 1982) is a Fellow at the New America Foundation and a political analyst for NBC News. Price is also a former American intelligence officer who worked at the United States Central Intelligence Agency from 2006 until February 2017. On February 20, 2017, Price published an op-ed piece in the Washington Post, outlining his decision to retire from the CIA rather than work in a Donald Trump administration.

Note that New America Foundation is one of the two top organizations liberally funded by George Soros, the other being the better-known Open Society Foundation. NAF’s chairman of the board of directors is Eric Schmidt who has long and deep-standing ties to Democrats – particular Obama and the Clintons.

He certainly fits the profile of what has been rumored about the whistleblower: former intelligence officer, supportive of a Trump political rival, etc. But that’s not the half of it, though. Anonymous sources also report that Price was not only a CIA deep state agent but was also one of the spies that John Brennan used in the 2016 election to spy on the Trump campaign. This guy quit the CIA in an huff and is virulently anti-Trump, too. Gee, is it any surprise that this guy would magically come forward now with a complaint based on hearsay evidence?

Here is an interesting tidbit from Price’s twitter timeline.

In that WaPo article linked above, there is this fascinating paragraph that dovetails coincidentally with Price’s tweet above:

The transcript, the whistleblower alleged, was then loaded onto a separate system meant for classified information. And according to White House officials who informed the whistleblower, that was “not the first time” a transcript was put there due to concerns about politics rather than national security, the complaint alleged.

Remember, there are NO coincidences in politics, particular concerning the Deep State cabal who have been after President Trumps scalp from the beginning! There’s a high probability that the transcript was put on the classified system to preclude it being leaked, too!

Here’s my question for Price, disgraceful Democrats like Adam Schiff, and their allies in the legacy media: if the President’s conduct was so egregious, then why on Earth didn’t State Department officials who were privy to the conversation first-hand register a complaint?  Price only learned about the incident second- or third-hand!

I believe we’re going to find out a lot more about the whistleblower, including his complaint and how it was compiled from multiple sources (reportedly including media reports!), his political motivations, his likely connections to Adam Schiff and other Democrats, and much more. Stay tuned!

The end (for now).

Watching failed presidential candidate Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) get knocked down a peg or two, rhetorically speaking, never ever gets old.

Swalwell, who has represented California’s 15th congressional district since 2013, loves to artificially inflate his importance as a member of Congress every chance he gets. We’ve seen this often often on social media and during public hearings when he tries (and often fails) to one-up his political opposition in wars of words.

Today during the high drama of the whistleblower hearing over the allegations that President Trump engaged in impeachable offenses during a July phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Swalwell was aggressively questioning acting DNI Joseph Maguire, who was holding his own against the stampede of indignant House Democrats desperately looking for their gotcha moment in front of the cameras.

During the exchange, Maguire unintentionally misgendered Swalwell – calling him “Congresswoman”:

Swalwell began his questioning by asking Maguire about the “definition of a cover up,” then inquired why the transcript of July’s phone call was moved “to a secret classified information system.” Maguire appeared to slip up during one of his responses, calling Swalwell “congresswoman.”

“In the whistleblower’s complaint, the whistleblower alleges that immediately after the president’s call with the president of Ukraine on July 25, White House lawyers moved quickly to direct White House officials to move electronic transcripts from one computer system where it was normally stored to a secret classified information system. Is that right?” Swalwell said.

“Congresswoman – excuse me, sir, I apologize,” Maguire replied before being interrupted by Swalwell.

Swalwell did not look amused. In fact, he looked a wee bit deflated. Watch:

A few “feminists” were displeased over the fact that Twitter users erupted in laughter in the aftermath, but as a woman I found it pretty funny, too. Why? Because even though it’s not really an insult, Swalwell is just the kind of self-centered narcissistic windbag who would think it was.

Honestly, it could not have happened to a more deserving guy.
