Trump supporter Bryson Gray explains why he bought the biggest MAGA hat he could find prior to attending a campaign rally in Fayetteville, NC – 9/9/19. Screen grab via CBS 17.

If you’re black, Hispanic, gay, or a female and happen to support President Donald Trump, life can be tough in the presence of ‘woke’ liberals if you wear your politics on your sleeve. That goes doubly so if you are bold enough to wear a MAGA hat, which to unhinged TDS sufferers symbolizes hate, bigotry, racism, you name it.

For privileged white liberal actresses like Alyssa Milano, the “MAGA hat is the new white hood.” For Bette Midler, black Trump supporters at Trump rallies are a paid part of the “blackground.” Actress Debra Messing is in agreement with those who say “A black vote for Trump is mental illness.”

In other words, how dare black Americans think differently.

With that in mind, let’s turn to Trump’s rally in Fayetteville, NC on Monday evening, where the President campaigned in a show of support for Republican candidate Dan Bishop in the hotly contested Congressional District 9 special election, which is being held today. Bishop’s Democratic opponent is Dan McCready.

Trump supporter Bryson Gray was interviewed by CBS 17 prior to the start of the rally. Gray explained that he went out and bought the biggest MAGA hat he could find in defiance of his friends who he says told him he shouldn’t support Trump because he’s black:

“I have a lot of friends who tell me that I shouldn’t support Donald Trump because I’m black, which is sort of insane because … I can support whoever the hell I want to support. And then also they told me that I shouldn’t wear the MAGA hat, so I bought the biggest MAGA hat. So it makes it double the importance, so that’s why. ”

Watch the interview segment below:

The Trump War Room Twitter account tweeted out a clip of the video, which has gone viral:

I should note that Messing has gotten involved as of late in the Bishop/McCready race in a show of support for McCready (apparently someone just told her there’s a special election in North Carolina, which has only been in the news for months).

Anyway, hats off (no pun intended) to Gray, who clearly walks to the beat of his own drum by way of refusing to march in lockstep with Democrats just because of his skin color.

Flashback –>> MAGA Hat Shame Game Is Not About Racism, It’s About Suppressing Dissent

If you’re one of the tens of hundreds out there struggling to figure out a way you can help “dismantle the patriarchy”, the liberal website “NowThis News” has the answers you seek. You can start out by eliminating two simple words from your vocabulary:

“Hey, guys.”

It’s true! Before we get to the “Now This” video explainer, let’s find out from this 2018 Atlantic piece why the use of the term “guys” in mixed company is considered exclusionary and disrespectful in woke circles:

“Okay, guys,” a female coworker of mine recently began, as she addressed me and a female colleague. Then she stopped herself, said she was making an effort to use more gender-neutral language, and carried on talking.

It was a small self-correction, and a glimpse at the conflicted feelings stirred up by one of the most common greetings in the English language. Guys is an easygoing way to address a group of people, but to many, it’s a symbol of exclusion—a word with an originally male meaning that is frequently used to refer to people who don’t consider themselves “guys.”

[…]

In my reporting I heard from several people who said that the word is particularly troubling for trans and gender-nonconforming people. “As a transgender woman, I consciously began trying to stop using guys some years ago,” says Brad Ward, a college counselor at a high school in Atherton, California. She added, “When I’m included with a group that is called guys, there’s some pain, since it takes me back to my male days in a way that I’d rather not go.”

I also heard that guys could grate on women working at male-heavy companies. In tech in particular, some told me they saw the word as yet another symptom of a female-minimizing industry.

I feel comfortable speaking for most women when I say the vast majority of us do not – I repeat – do not have an issue with someone using this phrase to address women, men, and those who do not conform to either gender type.

But for those who do, the four and a half minute video below is for you.

Narrator Foluké Tuakli starts out by saying “guys” is a simple term whose meaning has evolved over the years, going from “boys” to “people.” She even acknowledges that most people who use the term are not deliberately trying to be offensive. However, it is offensive to some people, she asserts, and the “male default term … should not be normalized as an all-encompassing phrase.”

“We’ve been ignoring the cognitive impact on women as well as gender non-conforming folks,” Tuakli alleges of the term. The two words are “a small part of what reinforces the gender hierarchy today” and we should use other terms that are more inclusive.

The good news according to Tuakli is that you are not a “bad feminist” if you use this term, because there are bigger issues feminists need to address like “the general reprogramming of most people’s minds when it comes to the valuation of women in society” (seriously – she said this). Still, she suggests that by not using “hey, guys” you are taking one small step towards “dismantling the patriarchy.”

During an appearance with FIFA president Gianni Infantino earlier today, President Donald Trump joked to members of the mainstream media that he might have to extend a possible second term so he could still be President when North America hosted the Men’s World Cup in 2026.

The Washington Times reports:

President Trump met with Gianni Infantino, chief of the FIFA soccer-governing body, on Monday to discuss the 2026 men’s World Cup and ways to make women’s soccer “even better and more equitable.”

The men’s tournament in 2026 will be hosted by the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

“We’re going to have to extend my second term,” quipped Mr. Trump, who would be term-limited out in January 2025 if he wins reelection. “Because 2026 — I’m going to have to extend it for a couple years.”

Watch video of Trump’s remarks below:

This isn’t the first time, of course, that Trump has jokingly suggested he’d be open to extending his presidency beyond the two term limit:

In May, Trump retweeted Jerry Falwell Jr. when the Evangelical conservative political figure said that the president should have his term extended because of the special counsel investigation into Russian election interference — a “corrupt failed coup,” to use Falwell’s language.

A month earlier, at an event sponsored by the Wounded Warrior Project, Trump joked about remaining in office for even longer than that.

“This will find a permanent place, at least for six years, in the Oval Office,” he said about a trophy he received from the charity. “I was going to joke … and say at least for 10 or 14 years, but we would cause bedlam if I said that, so we’ll say six.”

And in 2018, he expressed admiration for Chinese President Xi Jingping’s limitless term.

“I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll give that a shot someday,” he said.

Even though there’s no question that he is not at all serious about extending a second term, The Usual SuspectsWestlake Legal Group 2122 Trump Jokingly Suggests That He Should Extend a Second Term, and the Liberal Freakout Commences white house washington D.C. The humor scolds at CNN, naturally, indicated back in June that they don’t think he’s joking when he says stuff like this- and they don’t find it funny.

Then again, if I got owned by Trump as much as CNN has, I probably wouldn’t find his jokes about sticking around the White House a few years longer humorous, either.

Failed Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke (D-TX) took a campaign swing through New Hampshire over the weekend, including making an appearance at the New Hampshire State Democratic Convention. While there, he faced questions about his controversial mandatory gun buyback confiscation program, which critics have said would require door to door visits from law enforcement to force compliance.

He was asked about the enforcement issue specifically during a press conference at the convention. Here’s what he said:

“No. I don’t see the law enforcement going door to door. I see Americans complying with the law. I see us working with gun owners, non-gun owners, local, county, state, federal law enforcement to come up with the best possible solution. I have yet to meet an owner of an AR-15 who thinks it’s OK that we have these kind of mass killings in this country,” O’Rourke said when asked by the Washington Examiner about specifics of his plan.

When pressed further about how he plans to enforce his proposal for those who would not comply, he responded, “How do you — how do we enforce any law? There’s a significant reliance on people complying with the law. You know that a law is not created in a vacuum.”

Watch video of his answer below, in which the struggling-for-relevance 2020 presidential candidate also stated he would work with Congress for ways to implement his plan that would respect gun rights as well as protect American lives:

Saying that he “expects” gun owners to comply with his confiscation plan, even though disturbing and deeply troubling, is a far cry from what he’s stated previously on this issue. For example, just a few days ago he was asked how he would address fears that the government was going to “take away assault rifles.” Here’s how he answered:

I want to be really clear that that’s exactly what we’re going to do. Americans who own AR-15s and AK-47s will have to sell them to the government. We’re not going to allow them to stay on our streets, to show up in our communities, to be used against us …

Watch:

He asserted later that same day that “We need to buy back every single assault weapon”:

His response to the DC Examiner on whether or not door to door visits would take place under his administration to force gun owners to hand over their “assault weapons” is a flat out lie. There may be a few people who would voluntarily comply with the mandatory program, but there will be many more who are well aware of their 2nd Amendment rights who are not just going to obediently hand over their weapons to the government.

There is simply no other way for the government to get its hands on “every single assault weapon” without law enforcement stepping in and knocking on doors while armed to the teeth.

“View” co-host and gun owner Meghan McCain correctly pointed out last week that if Beto were to be elected and implement a program like this, there would be violence in response from citizens.

He absurdly and despicably responded that McCain’s comments were an incitement to violence, but in reality she simply stated what Beto O’Rourke deep down knows to be true, but won’t say out loud.

He’s from Texas. He knows she’s right. He knows there are a not-so-small-number of people with registered weapons who will not gift wrap them with a pretty little bow and drop them off at the nearest police station, and who are not going to open their doors eagerly when the feds come knocking.

Yet he still made this idea a central part of his campaign platform.

The good thing is that, in spite of Beto’s expressed wishes to force gun owners to surrender certain weapons to the government, his campaign is going nowhere fast. The bad news is that there are other Democratic presidential candidates who are on board with the idea, including frontrunner Joe Biden.

On Saturday I wrote about a humorous video President Trump tweeted Friday afternoon that showed CNN, which has obsessively covered the idiotic “Sharpiegate” controversy, had themselves said the state of Alabama was at one point under threat from Hurricane Dorian.

Here’s the video for those who missed it. Some news outlets reported that it was “doctored” but it was only done so to the extent that it showed weather anchor Derek Van Dam say Alabama 10 times in a row. It also included clips of Trump inserted at the beginning and towards the end of the video:

The Trump War Room Twitter account also tweeted out the video minus the so-called “doctoring”:

As I noted in my post, there’s a reason Trump hasn’t given up on this as easily as CNN and other media outlets would like him to. Because the evidence – including evidence that came directly from CNN – backs him up on his initial claims. For example, see this screen grab taken from Sharyl Attkisson, which you can watch play out at this NOAA link:

Unfortunately the mainstream media are still fixated on this issue. So much so that the Washington Post actually sent a reporter to visit Alabama over the weekend in order to prove Dorian did not actually hit the state.

In a piece originally titled “Here in Alabama, no sign of President Trump’s hurricane”, features writer Avi Selk reported:

MOBILE, Ala. — The city stands.

The grocery stores are fully stocked, the Home Depot has no lack of generators, tarps and plywood, and it’s business as usual at the Waffle Houses.

Boaters on the Mobile River have been urged to caution — only because a group of manatees were spotted frolicking nearby. The highway south runs past unsunk boats and unbroken masts all the way to the mouth of the Gulf of Mexico, where resort-town general stores report no panicked runs on supplies — not now and not a week ago, when Trump first claimed Alabama would likely be slammed by Hurricane Dorian.

But it’s always calmest in the center of a storm, sometimes even political ones. The rest of the United States is basically the eyewall: an ever-widening vortex of outrage and bureaucratic retaliations whirling around Trump’s false weather reports.

Selk went on to write about interviews he’d had with area residents to gauge how they felt about Trump’s “false weather reports”, but Selk must have left Alabama sorely disappointed because the piece only quoted three people who were in various stages of upset (from mild to really) over Trump’s initial claims about the possibility of Dorian hitting Alabama.

Selk’s report, I should note, did not include any mention of this tweet from the Alabama National Guard, which was posted just a day before Trump’s first remarks about Dorian and Alabama. Clearly the state believed the lower southeastern section was going to be impacted by the storm:

CNN and Stelter Continue to Create Their Own Storm Damage in Targeting the President

Westlake Legal Group stelterCNN-620x331 CNN and Stelter Continue to Create Their Own Storm Damage in Targeting the President Social Media Politics News Natural Disaster Media Mainstream Media journalism Hurricane Dorian Front Page Stories Front Page Florida Featured Story Featured Post fake news donald trump CNN Brian Stelter Allow Media Exception

As Hurricane Dorian has moved off and become an inconsequential storm in the North Atlantic over at CNN they continue to make themselves inconsequential in their attempt to brew up a tempest over President Trump’s Sharpie advisory. As most would expect a news organization to focus on the storm’s aftermath, especially the damage inflicted upon The Bahamas (you can help here) CNN continues to rail about a perceived error the President made over one week ago.

The tempest involves the President holding a forecast tracking map of the hurricane while it was in the Caribbean and showing Florida as a likely target for landfall. He then chose to manually extend the cone of probability with a Sharpie to show Alabama could also become impacted. CNN and others in the media pounced, as they say, because supposedly official storm offices and researchers had not gone so far as to include coastal Gulf locations.

Except in a fashion they had. As the President himself noted in a tweet he sent out, CNN weather personalities had themselves mentioned Alabama as a possible location for impact from hurricane activity. This has done nothing to alter Stelter’s track on attempting to impact the president. On Brian’s Sunday program Reliable Sources he was still going after President Trump.

You just have to sit back and marvel at how oblivious Stelter is in this segment. He is declaring that Trump is using his campaign playbook of demonizing his network in order to sway the electorate over to his lies, and then he goes on to state that this is all the justification needed to continue what they have been doing. What he is saying is that because the President has declared CNN/the Press his opponent they now have to attack him even more, justifications for doing so being irrelevant.

And with that as his impetus Stelter continued to harp on the hurricane gaffe, hammering away without a nail. In an attempt to offer conflicting evidence as a way to prove Trump wrong Stelter presented this forecast tracking map from NOAA.

Aha! Alabama is not even included — we nailed him! Uh, yes Brian, if you are going to rely upon selective evidence gathering. Turns out if you follow storms with any type of regularity, as we do here less than 100 miles from the cat-5 landfall, there are numerous measurements and projections with these storms, including wind speed charts. These tend to show areas potentially affected by storm winds, and there was one of these charts made available. It was on the day of President Trump’s Sharpie Scandal. Additionally, it was also offered up by NOAA.

Huh. It seems the weather experts were actually citing Alabama as a potential location for activity. This is an interesting omission by Mr. Stelter in his hyperventilating message on a windstorm. Yet despite scientific data to the contrary, and video evidence of his own network making the exact same claims, Stelter states this map conflagration is deeply important.

This past week wasn’t “Sharpie-gate,” it was “lying about a hurricane-gate.”He wasn’t “doubling down” all week, as many people (myself included) said, he was “digging a deeper hole.” He wasn’t stirring a “controversy,” he was politicizing the weather and providing more evidence of his instability.

Amazing the layers of projection in that quote, with Tater accusing The President of all characteristics he is displaying himself. Stelter has declared this to be the biggest lie the President has told in his term so far. This really places Russian collusion in perspective. And in his zeal to deliver rebukes Stelter also states all of this “was about Trump failing a basic geography test.”

That so, Brian? That’s a curious accusation coming from the same network that delivered this map citing Alabama as “Mississippi’ to viewers, at the same time.

The RedState Box Office Report — Strictly Clowning Around

Westlake Legal Group it-620x348 The RedState Box Office Report — Strictly Clowning Around Popular Culture Movies it Hollywood Gerard Butler Front Page Stories Front Page Featured Story Featured Post Entertainment box office report Allow Media Exception

An anticipated sequel floats well above the competition.

A sign of an impending blockbuster is the other studios getting out of the way and avoiding a major release. No other big titles were released in the past couple of weeks with the arrival this weekend of a major horror sequel and the players were wise in the decision. Apart from the top movie no other title earned money even in the double-digits.

So here is our off-ramp into the fall season with the first arrival of a major title. In a couple of weeks more notables will arrive, but in the meantime get the greasepaint out.

1.  IT: CHAPTER TWO – $92.0 Million
The numbers here are really only slightly off from the performance of the first film, so no complaints at all are being heard from New Line/Warner Brothers. There were hints at this one landing near the $100 million mark, but just shy is just fine. This performance still stands as second-best in a number of categories that were topped by the shocking performance of the first film. The real surprise in all of this is that the studios did not expand this version into a “Chapter 3”. Part of the reason this total is lower is the number of possible screenings was truncated by the two hour-fifty minute showing. A trimmed run time would have made for more screenings and allowed for an additional release. Also considering the budget here was double that of the original ($79 million versus $35 million) the costs would have been evened out and profits greater. But then, I’m not studio boss.

2. ANGEL HAS FALLEN – $6.0m
The fun action thriller from Gerard Butler has crossed over $50 million. This second sequel is on track to perform better than “London Has Fallen”.

3. GOOD BOYS – $5.39m
This surprise comedy hit continues to linger near the top. There is not as much money to be had these days but the lads are still gathering some cash.

4.  THE LION KING – $4.2m
The undisputed king of the summer is still around. At this stage it is the 13th highest earner ever, in North America, and globally the film has hauled in 1.6 billion to stand as 7th-highest all time.

5.  OVERCOMER – $3.75m
The small faith-based film for Sony/Affirm is continuing to defy the soft projections. To date it has earned $25 million on just a $5 million production budget.

6.  HOBBS & SHAW – $3.72m
Now has taken in over $700 million globally, and in the U.S. it is fifth in the Fast & the Furious franchise.

7.  THE PEANUT BUTTER FALCON – $2.27m
This Shia LaBeouf arthouse release about a young man with Downs Syndrome who travels on an adventure has been out five weeks and expanding gradually. It enters the top-10 in a softened field for the first time as it now plays on over 1,300 screens.

8.  SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK – $2.26m
The Lionsgate release has been a decent hit as it has earned more than the “Dora The Explorer” film, which opened the same week with double the budget.

9.  READY OR NOT – $2.23m
A class warfare satire packaged in a horror film this has been managing to grind out a respectable return of 4225 million on its meager 46 million budget. Critics and audiences have favored this, just not to the levels you would like to see for that much affection.

10.  DORA AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD – $2.17m
Another indicator of how poorly this has performed is that it opened on 1,500 more screens than “Scary Stories”, and now is playing on 300 fewer screens.

Screen grab from the 9/6/19 Chick-fil-A Toronto protest via News Talk 1010.

On Friday, I wrote about the opening of the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Toronto, Canada, which was met with long lines of excited customers waiting to get in and unhinged protesters trying to shame them into leaving.

Here’s a brief recap, via Fox News:

The grand opening of Chick-fil-A’s first international location in Toronto was met by a grand protest Friday by LGBTQ activists, who argued that the chicken-centric chain owner’s historically antigay policies will clash with the culture of Canada’s largest city.

Protestors caused a commotion as soon as the restaurant opened its doors at 10:30 a.m., chanting “shame” and “cluck you,” CBC News reports.

“Hey hey, ho ho, Homophobia’s got to go,” activists can be heard shouting in video shared to Twitter by BlogTo.

[…]

Fans of the fried chicken chain, meanwhile, were said to have lined up as early as 6:30 a.m. to await the grand opening, CTV News Toronto reports.

As I noted in my original post, a “die-in” was also staged during the protest, and towards the end of the video clip below you can see unfazed customers stepping over those laying on the ground in order to enter the store:

Rebel News interviewed customers on the day of the protest to get their thoughts, including black customers who contradicted claims by protesters that they were “racist” along with gay customers who talked about the “foolishness” of the protests:

Here’s video of an Asian man in a “Make America Great Again” hat who told Rebel News that he was just there for the food:

Toronto’s NewsTalk 1010 also captured numerous videos from other angles, which show customers unapologetically ignoring marchers and other protesters while entering and exiting the store.

This video shows the doors being opened that morning to customers who had lined up to sample some delicious chicken and waffle fries. Note how the employees inside are standing, applauding, and cheering as those who had waited for hours entered the store:

This video shows the cast of marchers as they walked back and forth in an effort to get the attention of customers waiting in line nearby. Most customers simply ignored them:

The below video shows one customer who did engage with a protester, noting to the angry man that it was silly for them to be protesting chicken sandwiches:

This video shows a couple of customers who exited the store with their purchases. One of them waves a hand in the air triumphantly:

Here’s another video of the die-in from a different angle. Note that the customers are stepping over or around the people laying on the ground while entering the restaurant:

Chick-fil-A is planning to open 15 more locations in the greater Toronto area in the near future, which once again just goes to show that no matter how “woke” protesters think they are, they can’t keep a good fast food chicken sandwich chain down.

Concern for the Social Impact of a JOKER Movie Ignores Historic Variations of This Character Type

The character defines social dysphoria, so wringing hands over his portrayal proves him correct.

Warner Brothers Studio has been uniquely challenged in transferring the catalog of DC Comics to theater screens. Removing Christopher Nolan efforts, with the exception of “Wonder Woman” many of the comic book films in recent years have been regarded as dismissed and forgettable, even those times their films meet financial success. While Marvel has been a financial printing press with can’t-miss titles Warners saw its attempt at universe building — “Justice League” — shockingly become a money-losing venture.

As a sign of the unfocused nature from the studio with these properties is that Warners currently has two iterations of the character of The Joker character. Jared Leto’s interpretation as seen in “Suicide Squad” was met with such a muted reception that he saw screentime truncated in that fiasco of a film. Still, he is poised to get his own stand-alone film at some undeclared future date, but meanwhile, next month will bring another feature with the iconic villain, an origin story with Joaquin Phoenix taking on the greasepaint pathos.

There have been musings from many on the propriety of presenting this character in either a sympathetic light or at the very least one of understanding. Much of that is balanced against our current social climate. How wise is it to position a disaffected character like this in our combative and divisive country, some have asked? An even more exaggerated stance — will this character inspire somebody to act out in a similarly imbalanced fashion?!

While some of the talk can be dismissed when the likes of Jim Geraghty of National Review weighs in on the unease with concerns, it becomes a sign of an undercurrent taking place. Jim expresses anxiety over what the presentation on screen could lead to in our contentious society.

I’m worried that a certain segment of America’s angry, paranoid, emotionally unstable young men will watch Joaquin Phoenix descending into madness and a desire to get back at society by hurting as many people as possible and exclaim, “finally, somebody understands me!”

While we can all see the origination of this thinking, this is actually a response not borne out of a unique character presentation but of an overemphasis on social media responses and what we see play out with regularity in the digital realm. In the trailer, Phoenix’s character is shown as an emotionally-troubled sort who is routinely set upon by society. He seemingly breaks, and then acts out in sociopathic fashion as the villain we all know.

While some may worry that this can inspire someone to antisocial acts I do not see the worry, for one main reason — this is not a novel presentation of someone reaching a mental break on screen. We have long been served up these characters in our entertainment. The emotional iconoclast is not an unfamiliar figure, as many have gone on to become culturally significant; Travis Bickle, Cool Hand Luke, Holden Canfield come to mind. How about Christian Bale’s portrayal of Patrick Bateman?

For that matter, why not revert back to Heath Ledger’s own display of this same character, who was so set on chaos for the sake of chaos? We never learned what drove him specifically, and that made his nihilism all the more venal. As a character for interpretation by those looking for a violent outlet you could have none more dangerous, as he was an empty slate for anyone to fill in those blanks.

There is yet another contradiction within this projected outrage. To say that “Joker” is unique to our time (to say he is a product of the Trump Era, for instance) is diffused by the fact that many film writers have seen a plot parallel to another film. A number have pointed the plot of the upcoming “Joker” seems to mimic Martin Scorsese’s dark satire “The King Of Comedy” — even with Robert DiNero portraying a talk show host in a fashion to the one he tormented in that earlier film.

Certainly there will be contemporary touches and modern aspects to this story. But by appropriating a plotline that is over 30 years old it becomes difficult to claim “Joker” was created by our modern environment. Instead of being a product of our times, more likely you are seeing a character we have seen repeatedly now being updated for the new generation.

Denial: Kamala Harris Falsely Claims Her Campaign Is in “Top Tier” Even as Polling Shows She’s in a Freefall

Sen. Kamala Harris (CA) is making a campaign swing through New Hampshire this week, and while there Fox News asked her about whether or not she feels she’s still in the top tier even as the media is painting the Democratic presidential nominating race as a three-way race between Joe Biden and Sens. Sanders and Warren:

“Of course I’m part of that top tier and we all know that,” the California Democrat told Fox News and Seacoast Online on Friday evening, during an interview before headlining a party fundraising gala in Portsmouth, N.H.

“This is a campaign that has to be about each person working hard and earning the support. I plan on earning the support of each and every voter,” she also stated.

Watch:

In Harris’s mind she might be a “top tier” candidate but the reality is her campaign has been in a freefall since mid July.

She enjoyed a nice bump in polling numbers, positive press coverage, and fundraising in the aftermath of the first debate at the end of June where she broadsided Joe Biden over the forced busing issue and his praise of working with segregationist Senators back in the 1970s in order to get things done.

Media types and liberal commentators were treating her as the invincible candidate, but as July rolled on, her numbers began to start declining. And after Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) absolutely took Harris to the woodshed over her troubling criminal justice reform record as California’s attorney general, her numbers dropped even more .

Even more troubling for her is the dramatic drop in support from key Democratic voting bloks like black voters and female voters.

Ever since her poor performance at the second debate at the end of July, she has not been able to get her mojo back at all and has struggled to define herself and her campaign.

In fact, things have gotten so bad for Harris that just a little over a month after she mocked Gabbard for her low polling numbers, Harris finds herself only 2 points ahead of the Hawaii Congresswoman in a recent poll, with the margin of error putting her even with Gabbard:

The next Democratic debate is Thursday. Expect her to again attack Biden (but perhaps not from a racial angle this time around), and to take a few swings at Sen. Elizabeth Warren (MA), too, as Warren’s numbers have consistently risen since mid-May, which firmly puts her in the top tier.
