There’s No Need To Bait ‘The Squad’; Their ‘Values’ Tell Us What We Need To Know

Westlake Legal Group Untitled-4 There’s No Need To Bait ‘The Squad’; Their ‘Values’ Tell Us What We Need To Know Trump The Squad rashida tlaib Ilhan Omar Front Page Stories Featured Story donald trump Ayanna Pressley AOC

Following Trump’s questionable tweets suggesting “The Squad” — i.e. the vocally critical Democratic congresswomen with ties to, and activist policies regarding, other nations — should “go back” to their favored countries or countries of origin to fix their problems, Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) insisted the tweets were racist and “clapbacked” they had no fear of Trump.

The unfortunate result of Trump’s tweets (I’m not willing to call them racist but they were certainly thoughtless) is it makes people who are otherwise critical of the policy positions of these ladies pause to defend them when they ought to be evaluating the congressladies’ own questionable statements, like this one from a day or so before Trump’s tweets.

“One thing I tell women of color is that we never needed to ask for permission or an invitation to lead,” [Rep. Ilhan] Omar said in a keynote panel at the Netroots Nation conference, which included Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and Deb Haaland (D-NM). “We were sent to Washington to lead with our values and have an agenda that really pushes that forward.”

She continued: “There is a constant struggle with people who have power about sharing power and we’re not in the business of asking to share that power, we’re in the interest of grabbing that power,” Omar said. “We are not carrying the water for this cruel administration. We are doing the job that people in this country put us forward to do.”

Omar is touting her “values” as a reason she seeks to “grab” power. I mean, yikes.

The power grab thing is weird enough, but let’s examine her values for a second. This is a woman who is being investigated for campaign finance violations, has an odd first marriage which may have led to IRS fraud, and recently flat-out fabricated a story of racial injustice and told it to schoolchildren. In short, she lied to kids.

Then there’s AOC, who recently posted a picture to twitter of VP Mike Pence and compared him to Hitler stooge Heinrich Himmler, likes to say the world will end in 12 years to compel people to support her climate change hysteria, and also pulled this quaint little stunt the other day:

Then there’s Tlaib, who bangs the drum of racism over Israel’s relationship to Palestinians, and uses the American struggle with equality to do it (thereby demonizing both countries in one fell swoop).

In an interview published Saturday by Jacobin, a democratic socialist quarterly magazine based in New York that offers American leftist perspectives on politics, Tlaib – America’s first Palestinian-American in Congress – compared the happenings in Israel with racial segregation in the United States.

Playing the intersectionality card – the idea that different forms of oppression and discrimination and its effects overlap – Tlaib said that, “Just like we looked at the struggle for black Americans for true equality and access to opportunity to thrive. The same thing that has happened to the LGBTQ community. All of that is why I say free Palestine, that Palestinians deserve human rights. I see young people understanding that. When I see young Black Lives Matter activists with t-shirts that say ‘Free Palestine,’ and I’m wearing the Black Lives Matter t-shirt, I know it’s working.”

For her part, Pressley seems the least willing of The Squad to race-bait and outright lie, but she sure does like abortion.

As is his way, Trump doubled down Monday and asked the ladies to apologize to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi — and the country at large — “for the foul language they have used, and the terrible things they have said.”

“So sad to see the Democrats sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country and who, in addition, hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion,” Trump wrote online. “Whenever confronted, they call their adversaries, including Nancy Pelosi, ‘RACIST.’ Their disgusting language … and the many terrible things they say about the United States must not be allowed to go unchallenged.”

If he was trying to draw attention to their behavior by baiting them, so be it. But Trump really needn’t bait these ladies to reveal what they are and how they think. Their “values” speak for themselves.

#Journalism: After “Racist” Trump Tweets, Brian Stelter Brags About CNN’s (Inconsistent) Labeling Standards

The hot takes are flying after incendiary tweets President Trump posted over the weekend about the Queenie Quartet of Democratic Reps. AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley, which many on the left, some on the right, and some in the mainstream media have characterized as “xenophobic” and “racist.”

For the back story, Red State‘s Bonchie and Mike Ford had two entirely different takes on Trump’s tweets, which you can read here and here.

It’s the day after now, and CNN‘s Brian Stelter has done an “analysis” of sorts on the media’s coverage of Trump’s tweets. In his newsletter this morning, he bragged about how CNN definitively labeled the tweets in question “racist” and chided other news outlets for the unpardonable sin of allowing readers to draw their own conclusions:

Trump’s racist tweetstorm

President Trump launched a bigoted attack against four minority congresswomen on Sunday morning. His tweets were straight up racist. Did the news media accurately describe it that way?

By and large, no, most major news outlets did not do that. Reporters and anchors took the story seriously but largely leaned on “critics,” primarily Democrats, and cited their accusations of racism. The significance of Trump’s words risked being lost in a partisan fog.

He said/she said is a tried and true journalistic technique, of course, but it is insufficient at a time like this. If telling Democratic congresswomen to “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came” isn’t racist, what is?

There were some exceptions — CNN chief among the news outlets — that called out this example of racism emanating from the highest office in the land in an authoritative, institutional voice. CNN’s banners and headlines said “racist rant” and “racist attacks.”

The headline for CNN‘s primary piece on the tweets was: Trump tweets racist attacks at progressive Democratic congresswomen.

The piece published at CNN this morning by Stelter analyzing the story is basically a reposting of all the “points” he made in his newsletter.

Stelter’s nauseating backpatting of himself and his network would be far more impressive if he and the CNN team applied the same standards to Rep. Ilhan Omar‘s and Rep. Rashida Tlaib‘s unquestionably anti-Semitic remarks that they do to offensive comments made by President Trump.

But they don’t.

Take, for example, this piece from early February, where CNN took great pains to carefully explain why Omar and Tlaib say and do the anti-Semitic things they do:

Omar along with Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, the first two Muslim women to serve in Congress, are indeed changing the conversation on Capitol Hill over the United States’ long-standing relationship with Israel by speaking out critically against the Israeli government over its treatment of Palestinians.

As they challenge the political status quo over Israel in Washington, Omar and Tlaib are facing intense scrutiny and criticism, in particular from Republicans eager to exploit divisions in the Democratic Party.

Got that? Omar’s and Tlaib’s anti-Semitic remarks are “indeed changing the conversation” and “challenging the political status quo” on our country’s relationship with Israel, but not in the way that CNN portrays it (the whole piece was like that, by the way).

Here’s another piece from around the same time:

Freshman Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota publicly apologized Monday after she faced backlash for tweets condemned by both sides of the aisle as anti-Semitic.

[…]

Omar’s statement came on the heels of one from House Democratic leadership calling on Omar to apologize for comments they said included “anti-Semitic tropes.”

Note the qualifiers there. “Condemned by both sides of the aisle as anti-Semitic” – but not definitively declared as “anti-Semitic” by CNN. “They said included ‘anti-Semitic tropes’” – but CNN did not characterize them as “anti-Semitic tropes.”

Stelter noted in his Monday newsletter that “he said/she said is a tried and true journalistic technique, of course, but it is insufficient at a time like this” – yet he found the technique sufficient at a time when Omar and Tlaib were spouting off anti-Semitic tropes with regularity, endorsing anti-Semitic movements, and associating with anti-Semitic figures without apology.

If Stelter were an authentic man of his craft, he’d call out his own network’s duplicitous nature when it comes to using qualifiers to describe controversial comments and demand consistent standards across the board. But he’s not.

Stelter’s media firefighter “standards” are designed only to motivate his fellow journalists to move even further to the left in terms of their coverage and commentary of Trump and Republicans. He does not do this out of any sincere altruistic desire to see the national media earn back any of the credibility and respect they’ve lost over the last several years.

Nice try, Mr. Stelter. But some of us see right through you.

Leftist’s calling anyone to the right of Marx a “racist” is about as common as day following night. The accusation of racism amounts to one of the laziest, but most effective ways the left has silenced arguments from the right for ages. While the accusation definitely doesn’t have the edge that it used to, it still manages to get hard left figures riled up and ready to #resist.

In this day and age, however, the accusation tends to get people on the hard left to become a tad violent. Tactics from groups like Antifa have become more common than ever, and they justify their violence by labeling people various things like “Nazis, fascists, and racists.”

So when Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar retweets an article blatantly calling the fans of President Donald Trump “racists,” it can be a bit worrying.

CNN contributor Wajahat Ali tweeted out an article from the Daily Beast by Goldie Taylor, which argued in no clouded terms that Trump is a racist and so are you if you support him.

I’ll spare you the details of the article, suffice to say that Taylor is angry over Trump’s comments that people like Omar should go back and fix their own countries if they hate this one so much. This was taken as a racist act by Taylor and much of the leftist media.

Omar then retweeted Ali’s tweet of the article.

While Omar calling Trump a racist isn’t anything new, this would mark the first time Omar has gone and called his supporters racists.

Again, calling a Trump supporter racist is about as common as ants at a picnic, and just as annoying. It’s not an accusation that holds weight, but that doesn’t matter.

Right now we have a radical left that is looking for excuses to become violent. Groups like Antifa justify their violence against people by putting labels on them just like this, and attack innocent people. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez calls the holding camps “concentration camps” and we now have Antifa members attempting to firebomb ICE locations and treating the offender like a martyr to be celebrated.

Now we have Omar labeling Trump supporters as a general enemy.

I don’t think Omar has the power that Ocasio-Cortez has, but regardless, this is still a member of our electorate labeling an entire group of people as someone whom violence is pre-justified against. Omar should apologize for this retweet and make it clear that violence is not the answer.

But I’m not holding my breath.

Troll Level: Epic
Yesterday morning Donald Trump sent out a series of tweets that according to some, appeared to target 4 recently elected Democrat Congresswomen. My good friend and colleague Bonchie reported on this here. I also did a hot take on it, here. My response to Bonchie yesterday, was meant to convey the idea that Trump’s tweets weren’t a bad thing but were likely a good thing.

Given a night to reflect, I’ve decided to “revise and extend my remarks,” so to speak. I now believe that the President has indeed reached Troll Level: Epic. As expected, the left went nuts over yesterday’s series of tweets. As also expected, the epithet they immediately started screeching was, “Racist!” Of course that’s just hogwash. As Neil Boortz used to opine, “It’s not the color, it’s the culture.” What sane person wants to import the culture of Mogadishu to Detroit? Wait. Never mind.

Trump’s comments had nothing to do with racism. Except for the few fringe idiots up in the hills, there really are very few Americans who hate blacks or other minorities. However, the vast majority of Americans are getting well nigh tired of being called racists at every turn, merely for standing up to leftists and their destruction of America agenda.

I have some news for the left. Most Americans, including traditionally Democrat union members in Detroit agree with Trump’s tweets and here’s why. Let’s walk through how this played out. The President tweeted out a series of tweets not naming anyone in particular, though most of us could guess the identity of at least one of his implied targets. That was the bait and the left took it.

Immediately excoriating the President, House Speaker Pelosi decided to officially put names on the President’s targets. Stay with me here. These four women have a history that ranges from saying merely stupid things, all the way to profanity laced racism. Rep. Cortez says so many idiotic things, that there are entire Facebook memes with her face on them. Rep. Omar was castigated by her own party for a anti-Semitic remarks. Rep Tlaib is well known for her profanity when discussing the President.

The fourth (heretofore unknown) member of the Cortez “posse” provides the best example, especially since the left is working so hard to make the President out to be a racist. During a round table regarding black opportunities and supposedly referring to members of the Congressional Black Caucus, Ayanna Pressley said, “We don’t need black faces that don’t want to be a black voice. We don’t need Muslims that don’t want to be a Muslim voice.” That sounds pretty racist to me.

Here is the result. President Trump has once again baited the left into showing America just how insane they really are. He has baited Nancy Pelosi into coming out in public support of one idiot and three racists. All of them advance the interests of foreigners over that of Americans they are supposed to be representing, but clearly despise. Blue collar Democrats in Detroit aren’t going to forget this. The icing on the cake, is that these four won’t show her one iota of loyalty for defending them.

Troll Level: EPIC.

Finally! Twitter Takes Action Against an Antifa Account, but It’s Got a Long Way to Go

Westlake Legal Group antifa-3-620x413 Finally! Twitter Takes Action Against an Antifa Account, but It’s Got a Long Way to Go Willem Van Spronsen twitter Terrorism Social Media Politics Front Page Stories Featured Story antifa Allow Media Exception

You’d think that taking action against a domestic terrorist group on your social network would be a no-brainer, but as it turns out, Twitter was having a hard time understanding that political violence is bad, even when it’s done by the left.

What seems more like a move born out of being backed against the wall, Twitter suspended an Antifa account that broke its rules. What did they finally have to do for Twitter to take action?

On Sunday, a member of Antifa, Willem Van Spronsen, hurled what were reported to be molotov cocktails at an ICE facility in Tacoma, Washington. Police shot Spronsen, killing him, and making him into something of a martyr for the cause. Twitter accounts that belonged to Antifa began singing Spronsen’s praises.

Since the incident that Spronsen was involved in is an act of violent terrorism, the aforementioned singing of his praises is actually considered a glorification of violence, and Twitter has finally used the ban hammer on the violent group of black-clad sideshows in our gene pool.

The specific target was an account called “Anarcho Raver,” who gave Spronsen a send off tweet saying “Rest in power you f**king hero.”

The Antifa Twitter account “Rural Resistance” seemed particularly upset that the account was taken down by Twitter.

And horror of horrors, Twitter did it on “non-binary day.” Can you believe that? The injustice!

I’d like to say it’s a good start, but it’s not. There are still a ton of Antifa accounts going wild over the Spronsen incident that could easily be considered a glorification, or even a call to violence.

You can find countless tweets like these across Twitter. Antifa is still thriving on the social network, and these accounts can’t get enough Spronsen glorification.

Yes, I’m happy Twitter finally did something. Now it needs to see it through.

People on both the right and the left — at least those on the left not completely under the influence of radical left’s brand of Kool-Aid — understand that Antifa is a domestic terrorist group that is only going to get more and more brave as time goes on. Unlike many of the right-leaning accounts that Twitter banned, Antifa truly is advocating violence. As these accounts continue to glorify someone like Spronsen, an ill man with radicalized notions, then you can bet they’ll begin to mimic his actions and how far he was willing to go.

Antifa members aren’t the smartest bunch and their reasoning ability doesn’t seem to be very well developed. Who knows how far they will take this, and if Twitter doesn’t do something about the rest of the accounts promoting Spronsen’s violence, then they can consider themselves complicit.

Netroots Nation has been a goldmine of Democrats saying ridiculous things. This may qualify as the most disconnected from reality though.

This past weekend, Rep. Ilhan Omar was speaking on a panel and went on a several minute monologue on hypocrisy. Apparently, because our country celebrates the non-violent movements of our civil rights era but we aren’t celebrating Palestinians for their non-violent movement, we are all hypocrites. Amazing how it always comes back to how awful Americans are.

People can have varying views on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. It’s no secret that I find the Palestinian Authority and Hamas to be dumpster fire organizations that purposely choose suffering and terrorism over peace. Regardless, what Omar is saying here is objectively false no matter what your view of Israel is. There is no “non-violent” Palestinian movement to “liberate” (her words) them from Israel.

Here’s more non-violence from the Palestinian movement in a video put out just last month.

It should also be noted that liberate in this context clearly means to destroy Israel. How do I know that? Because the Gaza Strip is not occupied. Israel pulled out over a decade ago and it is governed by a terrorist group that was voted in by the residents there. Omar is never pressed on that fact, nor is Rashida Tlaib, as they continually push the “occupation” talking point that is simply false. The logical end game of their views on Israel is its downfall and the erection of yet another Muslim fundamentalist government in the Middle East.

How that’s not more controversial is beyond me, but I realize that inter-sectionalism essentially provides these Congresswomen with total immunity from hard questions.

I’ll also note that at the end of the video, Omar makes another nonsensical comparison that shows how illogical her thought processes are. Namely, that if you think healthcare is a human right, you must support Medicare for All or you are a hypocrite. I don’t think healthcare is a human right for obvious reasons, namely that you can’t make something a right to relies on the labor of others. But even pretending that’s not the cardinal issue, couldn’t someone believe healthcare is a human right but simply think Medicare for All is a terrible, completely unworkable plan that would collapse the system?

This is how Omar operates though. She sets up a false dichotomy and then calls you a bigot and/or hypocrite if you don’t agree with her. And because she’s from Somalia and is a Muslim, no one is allowed to even object without being accused of inciting violence against her. It’s a nice racket she’s got going.

Oh no! On Sunday night, 2020 presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke announced that both he and his wife, Amy, are descendants of slave owners.

“Something that we’ve been talking about in town hall meetings – the legacy of slavery in the United States – now has a much more personal connection. I was recently given documents showing that both Amy and I are descended from people who owned slaves.”

Upon receiving this news, he penned an email to his supporters entitled “Rose and Eliza,” the names of the slaves his great, great, great paternal grandfather owned in 1850. He wrote:

I benefit from a system that my ancestors built to favor themselves at the expense of others. That only increases the urgency I feel to help change this country.

That those enslaved Americans owned by my ancestors were denied their freedom, denied the ability to amass wealth, denied full civil rights in America after slavery also had long term repercussions for them and their descendants.

I benefit from a system that my ancestors built to favor themselves at the expense of others,” he added in the post, a defense of reparations.

Here we go. Suddenly Beto has discovered he has a personal connection to a profound and timely issue which he can use to inject new life into his floundering campaign.

No one can be held responsible for choices their ancestors made two centuries ago. And Beto knows that. But with his current support stuck at 2.5%, you better believe he will take this latest news and run with it. He’ll do his best to revive that old “Beto-mania.” We may even see a tear or two.

One reader clearly agrees. He wrote, “He’s going to tear a pandering ligament here soon.”

Over the weekend, the Democratic Civil War spilled out into the open, consuming social media and setting a blaze on Twitter that could be seen rising to the sky all the way from barren wasteland of MySpace.

Nancy Pelosi and the moderate wing (and, by “moderate,” I mean they are trying not to go too far left to scare off voters) are now engaged in open war with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Justice Democrats. What started as a demand in the backrooms of Congress to keep grievances off social media became a public bloodletting when Ocasio-Cortez and her team began attacking the idea on Facebook.

The House Democrats’ official account went live with an attack on a member of AOC’s staff, and all hell broke loose.

There was a strange silence in the traditional media over the hullabaloo, though many journalists also took to Twitter to express their opinions (a large percentage appeared to be on the side of the Justice Democrats). Conservative media, of course, had a lot to say, but many of those opinions you’ve undoubtedly already read – or had yourself.

If you embrace chaos among the enemy, then you probably want the Justice Democrats to win this fight. In fact, I see them winning the battle, though I also believe they are setting themselves up to lose the war.

If you embrace stability in the political world, though, you want Pelosi and the Democratic establishment to win this one.

The Justice Democrats would do well to learn to play nice with Pelosi and her allies, who far outnumber them in the House – and throughout the country. After all, they hold a handful of seats in the House. Pelosi’s people hold the majority of the majority in the House, have plenty of allies in the Senate, and Pelosi has made a lot of friends in the donor community. The reason she’s been so useful to the Democrats, in fact, is because of her fundraising ability.

Do I think Pelosi is a moderate? Absolutely not. I think she is a political animal, who has been trying to navigate a growing conservative trend in the United States with whatever tactics she’s had available. With Barack Obama as President and, later, the GOP’s ramped up attacks on illegal immigration, she allowed her party to launch wave after wave of attacks against the GOP, shouting “racism!” at every turn.

And thus became her downfall.

Nancy Pelosi and her allies are now reaping what they’ve sown. The fact that the Justice Democrats are actually accusing Pelosi of discriminating against a woman of color says it all. They have allowed this need to shout about racism to spin out of control, and it’s on Pelosi.

We have 10 years now of Democrats, led by Pelosi, accusing everyone who disagrees with them a racist, bigot, homophobe, Islamaphobe, and everything else under the sun. Ten years of letting her party get away with attacking Republicans with hateful, vitriolic statements that personal and without proof. Ten years of the political dialogue deteriorating with no reason to stop her fellow Democrats from tearing it down – she even participated.

Two years ago, she tried to moderate herself. She shied away from the calls for impeachment, tried to establish an agenda, tried to rally her party around ideas. But, the damage was done. The avalanche has started, and all the ad hominem attacks that will come for her and her allies are the direct result of her actions.

I can’t feel sorry for her. I feel sorry for the real moderate Democrats, who don’t like Trump but who don’t find themselves in favor of the things AOC and the Justice Democrats are pushing. I feel sorry for the Americans without a political home, who are socially conservative but economically liberal (against abortion but in favor of government bigger safety nets, for example). But, I don’t feel sorry for the position that Pelosi finds herself in. I didn’t feel sorry for the position John Boehner found himself in when his party began rebelling against him, either.

This is on them. Let them reap what they’ve sown.

Last week was a rollercoaster for Kentucky Democrat and former combat pilot Amy McGrath. On Tuesday, she launched her bid to unseat Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and managed to raise $2.5 million in the first 24 hours. She announced her candidacy with a hard-hitting video in which she portrayed McConnell as an old, callous, out of touch politician.

She tells voters, “Everything that’s wrong in Washington had to start someplace. It started with this man who was elected a lifetime ago, and who has, bit by bit, year by year, turned Washington into something we all despise.”

But things quickly went downhill for the former Marine Lt. Colonel after she flip-flopped on whether or not she would have voted to confirm now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

First, she said she would have voted to confirm Kavanaugh.

Hours later, she changed her mind. She tweeted, “I was asked earlier today about Judge Brett Kavanaugh and I answered based upon his qualifications to be on the Supreme Court. But upon further reflection and further understanding of his record, I would have voted no.”

We knew things were bad when a CNN panel called the flip-flop a disaster.  Here is an exchange between The New York Times’ Carl Hulse and John King:

CARL HULSE: Yes. If you’re running against Mitch McConnell, judges is the thing you’re going to want to be talking about. What a disaster. This is just a disaster. I’m not sure what was worse, being for Kavanaugh or then having to flip so quickly and say you weren’t.

KING: You’re not going to raise any national Democratic money if you’re for Kavanaugh and that’s her only hope.

HULSE: And she had raised a bunch of money already. I mean, Mitch McConnell and his people are ruthless and she was going to have a really hard time anyway with Trump on the ballot in Kentucky and this kind of mistake, they were just rubbing their hands together over there at Team McConnell.

Here’s what “Team Mitch” had to say last night followed by a response which Twitchy described as “savage.”

Big News: A New 007 Will Be Introduced in Bond 25, & the Person Playing The Character Has Been Named

According to Fox News, James Bond will pass the torch to another 007 agent in the next, 25th installment.

Purportedly, the next Agent 007 will be played by 31-year-old British actress Lashana Lynch.

Lashana appeared as the best friend to the main character in recent superhero effort Captain Marvel.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Bond 25 writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge puts the actress front and center:

“There is a pivotal scene at the start of the film where M says ‘Come in 007,’ and in walks Lashana who is black, beautiful and a woman,” a Bond insider claimed. “It’s a popcorn-dropping moment. Bond is still Bond but he’s been replaced as 007 by this stunning woman.”

And she don’t need no man:

“Bond, of course, is sexually attracted to the new female 007 and tries his usual seduction tricks, but is baffled when they don’t work on a brilliant, young black woman who basically rolls her eyes at him and has no interest in jumping into his bed. Well, certainly not at the beginning.”

Furthermore, the franchise’s marketing is getting awokened.

As per Fox:

The insider also claimed that the phrase “Bond girls” is now verboten: The females in the spy franchise are now reportedly ordered to be called “Bond women.”

Writer Phoebe explains that Bond can no longer be Bond as the world has known him:

“There’s been a lot of talk about whether or not Bond is relevant now because of who he is and the way he treats women. I think that’s bullsh**. I think he’s absolutely relevant now. [The franchise] has just got to grow. It has just got to evolve, and the important thing is that the film treats the women properly. He doesn’t have to. He needs to be true to his character.”

One thing that won’t be changing: The great Christoph Waltz will return as the villainous Blofeld.

What are your thoughts on the trajectory of the franchise? Will you be going to see the new movie?

Let us all know.

Also, what are your favorite Bond films? Your favorite Bond(s)?

When Daniel was first announced as the new spy, I thought he was all wrong. But 30 seconds into his maiden voyage, I was sold. That being said, in my view, Casino Royale lacked action. I’ve enjoyed all the films since.

I believe Pierce Brosnan was the perfect man for the job during his era, though for some reason, Goldeneye looks far more dated than it should.

And Sean Connery was great.

Whatcha think?

I look forward to hearing from you.
