Adam Schiff Says AG Barr Is The Second Most Dangerous Man In America (Probably Because Barr Won’t Tell Him Exactly What He’s Investigating)

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said Attorney General William Barr is the “second most dangerous man in the country” during an appearance at the Council on Foreign Relations Tuesday.

“He is not the sophist that Giuliani is, he’s much more dangerous, and I think he’s the second-most dangerous man in the country,” he added, referring to President Trump‘s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani.

Schiff, a frequent critic of Trump, did not say whom he believes is the most dangerous man in the U.S.

It’s not difficult to figure out who he thinks is first.

But really, why wouldn’t Schiff, implicated as he is all the Russia collusion hoopla, express this kind of fear? He acknowledged Wednesday at the National Press Club (the guy’s apparently on some kind of press tour at the moment) that his House committee has almost no clue what Barr and others are doing as regards the probes into the origins of the counterintelligence investigation into Trump’s 2016 campaign.

The House Intelligence Committee has “very little visibility” into the three Justice Department investigations into the intelligence officials who launched the Russia probe, the panel’s chairman Adam Schiff said on Wednesday.

It’s a situation that has Schiff concerned, given his fears that the probes are politically motivated.

“It’s an effort to amplify the counter-narrative, and to ignore what the Russians did, and what they will do in the next election,” Schiff said at a National Press Club event on Wednesday. “We’ve already seen a disturbing erosion of our checks and balances” with regard to the White House’s contact with DOJ, he added.

It’s downright amusing that Schiff is concerned the DOJ’s probes are “politically motivated” given that this is what seems to have driven the original investigation into Trump’s campaign. To the degree, remember, that highly questionable intelligence from foreign agents was paid for and used by Hillary Clinton’s cronies.

And if Schiff is concerned that Russia’s effort to interfere in the election will be forgotten in all the probing, he needn’t be. That’s Barr-appointed John Durham’s entire focus, according to the New York Times. He’s looking at how the CIA came to the conclusion that Russia had tried to interfere in the 2016 election.

But Schiff’s really agitated that, despite his requests for information, Barr and other DOJ investigators just haven’t felt the need to brief Schiff on what they’re uncovering.

Schiff indicated that, despite asking the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Justice Department to keep him informed about any official declassification requests from Barr, the House Intelligence Committee — which oversees the intelligence community — remains largely in the dark about what the agencies are having to produce and whether their cooperation is voluntary or being compelled.

“I have discussed personally with the Director of National Intelligence [Dan] Coats my profound concern about what Bill Barr is doing in particular,” Schiff said. “Namely, his desire to provide cover to the president by investigating the investigators.”

But Schiff requesting information on the DOJ probes is like a criminal suspect demanding information from police investigators to keep him abreast of what leads they have and where their investigation is taking them. And then complaining when they ignore him. Schiff is more than implicated in the attempt to link Russia to the Trump campaign. Marc Thiessen detailed his actions in a Washington Post op-ed in March.

Trump has called for House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam B. Schiff (D-Calif.) to resign. He is absolutely correct. Schiff repeatedly said that his committee had dug up “plenty of evidence of collusion or conspiracy.” In March 2017, he said on “Meet the Press,” “I can’t go into the particulars, but there is more than circumstantial evidence now” and last May he told ABC that Trump’s Russia conspiracy is of “a size and scope probably beyond Watergate.”

Schiff is a disgrace.

That Schiff is demanding to be kept in the loop is further proof of the man’s hubris. And anyway, he can rest assured that at some point he will know exactly what Barr and the other investigators have discovered. He just won’t be able to spin it at that time.

Does that make Barr dangerous? To Adam Schiff, it most certainly does.

Father Sobbingly Pleads With His Girlfriend Walking Into Abortion Clinic to Not Kill Their Baby

Westlake Legal Group Capture-4-620x452 Father Sobbingly Pleads With His Girlfriend Walking Into Abortion Clinic to Not Kill Their Baby murder mothers men Media Front Page Stories Featured Story Fathers death Allow Media Exception Abortion

You hear all the time about how abortion is solely a woman’s issue, but it’s not. It takes two to create life, and fathers should have just as much say in the life of his child as the woman does, no matter where that child currently resides.

In our society, when it comes to abortion, men and fathers are told we’re not allowed to be involved in the decision-making process of whether a child should live or die simply because don’t gestate in men’s bodies. Fathers are often cast aside as having illegitimate opinions if they feel their babies should have a chance at life.

It always boils down to “my body my choice,” for abortion advocates, which really translates to “I’ll kill the baby if I want to because it’s growing inside me, not you.”

As first reported by LifeNews.com, one father desperately wanted his baby to live after his girlfriend decided to abort the child. The father could be seen on video pleading with his girlfriend, screaming “please don’t kill our baby,” before breaking down into sobs.

The video was originally posted on father’s day, though the actual date that this was filmed has not been confirmed. The clip was uploaded by a man named John Ryan and informs us that the father’s name is “Tyler,” and the name of the girlfriend is “Abby.”

According to Ryan, Abby is a victim of abuse and was brought to the abortion clinic by one of her abusers, her stepmother.

Ryan posted that Abby and Tyler had planned this child, and that Abby already had 3 children at home, the eldest being over four and reportedly excited about having another sibling.

Ryan’s post contained a second video where Tyler is seen crying in the parking lot and explaining through tears that he’s a good dad, and takes care of her children she had with another man. A man who was with him reassured him that no matter what the outcome is, Tyler was doing the right thing.

People consistently dismiss the feelings and heartache of men in this day and age. Here we see a father desperate to keep his child out of danger and watching helplessly as his baby is led to the slaughter. The pain he must feel is beyond anything many of us can comprehend, and hopefully won’t ever have to.

To make it worse, you can see in the comments of Ryan’s post the uncaring nature of those who support abortion laughing at Tyler’s tears and desperation, and accusing him of being an abuser for wanting his baby to survive.

If people ever wonder why so many pro-life people take the stance that they do, it’s because of scenes like this. This child has every right to live and clearly has a loving parent that will go above and beyond for them. Yet, a woman was taken to a clinic by her abuser to have an abortion carried out.

Abortion is the realm of monsters and atrocities, and of pain and suffering. Yet so many treat it like it’s a fun pastime that should be joked about. Clearly, we can see that this is not at all funny.

It’s not clear how this story ends, but I personally pray that Tyler and Abby’s baby is still alive today.

Nancy Pelosi Uses Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Concentration Camp Remarks as a Lesson on the Evils of the GOP

As I covered previously, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez did what Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez does, and what Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appears to only be able to do: say things that are…well…let’s just say not correct (here, here, and here).

The 29-and-a-half-year-old Instagrammed Monday that Donald Trump is running “concentration camps” at the border. Liz Cheney pounced, then so did Jewish groups (here).

Now Nancy Pelosi’s put on her jersey and taken to the ice, and she wants to condemn Republicans. At a Christian Science Monitor breakfast Wednesday, the keynote speaker said she wasn’t too familiar with the initial dustup:

“I’m not up to date with [AOC’s] most recent remarks. I saw them on the news, but I haven’t spoken to her about that.”

If you saw them on the news, how are you not up on them?

Continuing:

“These members of Congress, they come to represent their districts and their point of view and they take responsibility for the statements that they make.”

Ne York Rep. Jerry Nadler seems to side with Ocasio-Cortez:

Nancy claimed the GOP is just bein’ goobs — they’ll take any old thing and freak out about it. So let’s walk on eggshells because of those irresponsible, lyin’ dorks:

“I do have comments to make to the caucus at large about the political nature of — how politically charged that atmosphere is. So understand that while the Republicans have no interest in holding the president accountable for his words, they will misrepresent anything that you say just — if you have one word in a sentence they can exploit.”

Right — that’s the reasonable thing to glean.

As for technically picking apart their comments, is that what happened when Nancy claimed “a wall is an immorality” (here) while she had a wall around her own property? How about the time she had the cops called when someone climbed it? Just wonderin’.

“Not One Dime”: In Fight Over Border Crisis, AOC Inadvertently Admits She’s a Big Part of the Problem

We are now into Day 3 of the Great Debate that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY-14) started Monday night during an Instagram Live video in which she absurdly declared, without evidence, that the U.S. was “running concentration camps” on the southern border.

A quick recap:

The freshman lawmaker also said President Trump is a fascist, underscoring her argument that what is happening in the United States has parallels to Nazi Germany and other fascist states.

“The U.S. is running concentration camps on our southern border, and that is exactly what they are,” the freshman lawmaker said. “If that doesn’t bother you … I want to talk to the people that are concerned enough with humanity to say that ‘never again’ means something.

“The fact that concentration camps are now an institutionalized practice in the ‘Home of the Free’ is extraordinarily disturbing, and we need to do something about it,” she added.

Ocasio-Cortez has been blasted by a number of high-profile Republicans and even some Holocaust experts for her false concentration camp comparison, but she’s continued to double, triple, and quadruple down on her absurd claims.

Because she is never, ever wrong, you know.

She continued again today on her Twitter feed, and in what was probably her 2,057th tweet on the matter (only a slight exaggeration), here’s what she said:

In her next tweet, however, she inadvertently revealed that when it comes to the humanitarian crisis at the border, she is a big part of the problem. Why? Because she and other House Democrats who want to play politics with border security in a critical election year won’t budge when it comes to President Trump’s funding request:

It’s worth noting that the mainstream media hasn’t called her out on her refusal to move on funding, nor have they called out the other members of her party who agree with her that not a dime should go to funding that would help alleviate the humanitarian crisis until her/their demands are met.

Imagine if the shoe was on the other foot, and Republicans refused to authorize funding to help ease a humanitarian crisis involving children. They’d be called cruel, child killers, and every other vile name in the book – not only by a mainstream media who continuously gives AOC a pass on these very issues but by AOC herself.

A Twitter follower pegged the situation perfectly:

Yep.

It’s so frustrating to see the leftists who tell us our “words matter” and level “incitement” charges when we call out Rep. Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitism (for example) then turn around and say that their words don’t matter when describing detention centers at the border as concentration camps.

It’s even more frustrating when the mainstream media refuses to hold them to the same standards on their words and actions (or lack thereof in this case) they would Republicans in similar situations.

In any event, as I noted previously, Sen. Mitch McConnell plans on calling the Democratic party’s bluff in the coming days on the $4.5 billion request, which should be interesting to watch.

Madonna Wants to Meet with the Pope & Make Him Pro-Choice. She Lays Out Her Simple Plan. Presto-Change-O

When you’re a singer, your mission is clear: meet with the Pope and convince him abortion is the way of Jesus.

That’s the route of thought apparently electrically taken in the noggin of “Like a Virgin” star Madonna.

The 60-year-old wants to get together with the leader of the world’s largest religion and give him her pitch. To hear her tell it, Jesus Christ would be totally on board with a “woman’s right to choose” (wait — I thought her song says she’s “keeping her baby”?).

In an interview with Australian journalist Andrew Denton, she walked through her presentation:

“Let’s talk about Jesus’s point of view about women. Let’s talk about it.”

That was her proposed opening for the Bishop of Rome’s transformation.

Here’s the clincher:

“What do you really think he thought of women? And don’t you think Jesus would agree that a woman has the right to choose what to do with her body?”

Aaaand revolution accomplished.

She’s optimistic:

“One day he might invite me. I think this one might…I think he would be open to having that conversation with me.”

Perhaps she’s right about that.

So is the idea that Francis has simply never before heard the idea that a woman should be able to choose? And that Madonna’s discovered this secret, this code no one else could crack? And that all need be done is for someone to pose, “Wouldn’t Jesus think a woman can choose what to do with herself?”

That’s the ignition?

As I’ve lamented before, politics is mostly one giant straw man argument.

In order to debate someone in actuality, you have to address the core disagreement. Perhaps due to a left-wing bubble, Madonna doesn’t seem to realize pro-lifers aren’t walking around saying, “Women shouldn’t have the right to choose for their body.” They’re insisting, rather, “It isn’t the woman’s body.” Therein lies the disagreement.

But that’s okay, M. I still absolutely love “Material Girl.”

This argument to the Pope, though? It ain’t your best material. Get into the groove, girl.

Besides, as I referenced above, Madonna already let the world know what she thinks about pregnancy:

Papa I know you’re going to be upset
‘Cause I was always your little girl
But you should know by now
I’m not a baby

You always taught me right from wrong
I need your help, daddy please be strong
I may be young at heart
But I know what I’m saying

The one you warned me all about
The one you said I could do without
We’re in an awful mess
And I don’t mean maybe, please

Papa don’t preach I’m in trouble deep
Papa don’t preach, I’ve been losing sleep
But I made up my mind, I’m keeping my baby, hm
I’m gonna keep my baby

Tim Scott On Reparations: They’re A ‘Non-Starter’

Westlake Legal Group Reparations-Now-620x421 Tim Scott On Reparations: They’re A ‘Non-Starter’ Tim Scott reparations Front Page Stories Featured Story Culture

There’s been a lot of talk on Capitol Hill today about reparations thanks to a House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties hearing to discuss the idea of compensation for the national sin of slavery. Actor Danny Glover and journalist Ta-Nehesi Coates both testified in favor of reparations with the latter saying, “Victims of that plunder are very much alive today.”

“We recognize our lineage as a generational trust, as inheritance, and the real dilemma posed by reparations is just that: a dilemma of inheritance,” Coates told a packed room gathered for hearing on HR 40, a House bill that would create a commission to study the historical need for reparations. “It is impossible to imagine America without the inheritance of slavery.”

Coates, who authored a 2014 Atlantic article entitled, “The Case For Reparations,” took specific exception with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s statements Tuesday indicating he believed it would be difficult to determine just who should be compensated for something that happened 150 years ago.

GOP Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina, the only African-American Senator in Congress, when asked about the issue, agreed with the majority leader and called the issue a “non-starter.”

Scott said Wednesday that it would be too difficult to calculate who deserves compensation and who must pay for the institution of slavery and the years of discriminatory laws that followed its abolition.

“There’s no question that slavery is a scourge on the history of America. The question is: Is reparations a realistic path forward? The answer is no,” Scott said.

In fairness to Coates and others who testified Wednesday, it’s certainly reasonable to assert that slavery of a race of people — and the subsequent fight to gain full voting rights and equal opportunity under the law — puts them at a disadvantage as citizens, and may still play a role in how far along those communities of people are in relation to others who did not have such a disadvantage.

But if we are to discuss payment for those sins, then we should be including all groups who were put at a disadvantage over the course of the nation’s growth and that would include women who had to fight for the vote, the Irish who were despised, Chinese immigrants who were essentially indentured servants, the Japanese who were interned during WWII, and now arguably even the unborn who have been killed off as the nation grappled with 40 years of abortion.

If we are to be equitable and begin to offer reparations to all groups who have suffered, we should be including these groups. The young climate activists would also very likely wish to be included because they believe their futures have been made harder thanks to preceding generations not paying enough attention to climate change.

Which is why Sen. Scott is right when he says reparations is not a realistic path forward. It would end up being a constant call from all groups who have suffered hardship and would require a definitive judgment on whether those other groups had suffered enough to be owed reparations. Unless Coates et al want to start making those determinations, reparations will remain unrealistic.

Joe Biden Just Committed His First Major Gaffe of the 2020 Race and It’s Pretty Bad

Joe Biden has historically been known as a walking gaffe machine. There’s a reason his prior presidential runs went absolutely nowhere. Even as Vice President, he was basically kept in the background, only popping out every now to prove he was still alive. 2020 was supposed to be different, or so we’ve been told. Biden was supposed to have cleaned up his act, gotten more disciplined, and learned from his mistakes.

That was always a pipe dream though. Men in their late 70s don’t usually change and I’m not even sure they have the capacity to change. The remedy to that so far has to been to keep Biden tucked away, hidden from sight and keeping him out of any situations where he might say something stupid and offensive.

Well, that strategy failed last night because the moment they let Biden off his leash, he did this.

The general notion here isn’t terrible. It should be expected that members have to work together to get things done, even when they vehemently disagree about certain issues.

If you know your history though, Biden’s examples in this case are way out there and highly problematic for several reasons.

James O. Eastland was a particularly nasty racist. He’s on record calling black people everything from slimy, to the n-word, to “African flesh eaters” (for the record, he was also a Democrat). If Biden wanted to give an example of working with people he disagrees with in a civil manner, that’s a pretty crazy and offensive example to give. He couldn’t just talk about his work with Republicans on the crime bill or something?

Biden’s description of never being called “boy” is also tone deaf. Of course the white racist didn’t call the other white guy “boy.” That was language Eastland saved for black Americans throughout much of his life. What this does is make Biden look horrifically out of touch and stupid. It’s akin to saying “well, no one ever denied to serve me in the 1960s” while ignoring that there’s a pretty obvious reason why that is.

But even if you want to give Biden the benefit of the doubt here, the left-wing base of the Democrat party doesn’t. Their entire mantra is ostracizing and punishing. You don’t get to come back from what Eastland said and did. In his case, that might actually be fair. Regardless, Biden citing him as an example of civility is a huge gaffe that sets racial landmines all around his candidacy going forward.

Take this response, for example.

Jentleson may be a former staffer for Harry Reid, but is he wrong? Biden’s campaign trail shtick has been to present himself as having some kind of other worldly ability to get Republicans to do what he wants. So what’s that say about Obama? What aspect about Biden makes him more capable? In reality, it’s just political bluster. Republicans are not going to listen to Biden anymore than they listened to the ridiculous policy proposals of Obama. Overall, it doesn’t come across well though, especially to those who still see Obama as a transcendent, almost messianic figure, i.e. much of the Democrat primary voter base.

I should also note that what Biden did here, tacitly praising segregationists, is almost identical to what Trent Lott did many years back. Lott was run out of Washington for his sins. Biden remains at the top of the Democratic Primary. You do the math on that one.

The final reason this is really bad for Biden goes past his comments and into what he was doing, namely that he was directly attacking the left wing of his party.

“I know the new Left tells me that I’m — this is old-fashioned,” he said. “Well guess what? If we can’t reach a consensus in our system, what happens? It encourages and demands the abuse of power by a president. That’s what it does. You have to be able to reach consensus under our system — our Constitutional system of separation of powers.”

All these comments took place at a swanky fundraiser in New York. He’s obviously playing the the crowd of establishment types who seek a more status quo operation in Washington. But the Democratic primary base wants no such thing and the more Biden snipes at them, the more he alienates a large portion of voters in his party.

This gaffe hits all the major pressure points, from his denigration of the left-wing to the racial overtones of the entire thing. I’ve seen some on Twitter opine that this won’t hurt him. In a vacuum, maybe that’s correct, but why would anyone expect Biden stop here? He’s got many, many more gaffes yet to come and it’s all going to compound.

This is why it’s too early to proclaim him the nominee. The knives will be out as the debates start next week and he’s no longer going to be able to hide at fundraisers or in front of pre-staged union halls. Things are about to get serious and this was just the first of many major missteps that Biden will have.

In case you missed it: On Monday, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed that…dang it — more winceworthy stuff from her…anyway, she claimed Donald Trump is running “concentration camps” at our southern border.

In politics, why make interesting and solid points when you can just say wholly ridiculous, fantastical things?

Therefore:

This drew a stiff response from Liz Cheney, followed by AOC’s super-failed attempt at a comeback:

Liz wasn’t alone.

In fact, two prominent Jewish groups have condemned the self-professed socialist…

I should note, at this point: Alexandria is falsely accusing someone of concentration camps while persistently touting the Nazis’ economic system.

Back to the story:

The Jewish Community Relations Council of New York suplexed the 29-and-a-half-year-old congressional freshman in a letter, saying they were “deeply disturbed” by her ignorant and irresponsible comments:

Dear Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez,

We are deeply disturbed by the language used in your recent Instagram live video which seeks to equate the detention centers on America’s southern border with Nazi-era Concentration Camps.

The terms “Concentration Camp” and “Never Again” are synonymous with and evocative of the atrocities committed by Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Germany, in which 6 million European Jews were systematically denied civil and human rights due to their race and ultimately murdered in a state-sponsored genocide. As concerned as we are about the conditions experienced by migrants seeking asylum in the United States, including family separation, unusable facilities, and lack of food, water, and medical resources, the regrettable use of Holocaust terminology to describe these contemporary concerns diminishes the evil intent of the Nazis to eradicate the Jewish people.

Since 1976, the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York has acted as a key resource to the New York Congressional Delegation on issues of concern to the 1.4 million member New York Jewish community. As our city is home to the largest Holocaust survivor community in the United States, we would be pleased to work with you to arrange a visit to a concentration camp, a local Holocaust museum, hear the stories of local survivors, or participate in other educational opportunities in the hopes of better understanding the horrors of the Holocaust.

Until that time, we urge you to refrain from using terminology evocative of the Holocaust to voice concerns about contemporary political issues.

Sincerely,
Charles Temel, President
Cheryl Fishbein, President-Elect

They “urge [her] to refrain.” It seems like that’d be good advice in general.

Another group — the Zionist Organization of America — came down on Alexandria even more harshly. President Morton Klein — whose parents were actually in the Holocaust (and survived), tweeted that AOC should be “censured by her colleagues”:

AOC’s ludicrous statements that the U.S. has a “Fascist” “presidency that creates concentration camps” to hold immigrant communities, and AOC’s invocation of the Holocaust-associated slogan “never again” with respect to the housing of immigrant minors – are abhorrent insults to the memory of the 6 million Jews and the millions of gays, gypsies, and others who were intentionally slaughtered, worked to death, starved, gassed and tortured in the real Nazi-Fascist concentration camps. The real story is that the U.S. government ran out of space and has to temporarily house minor teenagers who crossed illegally into the U.S. at an army base – something that former president Obama also did. Comparing this to the horrors of the Holocaust death camps is a sin. AOC must be censured by her colleagues for this mindless and moronic analogy. She doesn’t belong in Congress making decisions on behalf of her fellow American citizens.

Well. No ambiguity there.

I just can’t understand why, day in and out, we hear so much nonsense via the raging of political war. Who benefits from people saying completely idiotic things with no connection to reality? Wouldn’t more be gained by thoughtful and insightful points?

Welp…

The beat (your head against the desk over the Left’s dumbest remarks) goes on.

Tucker Carlson Has Been Privately Advising President Trump Not To Take Military Action Against Iran

A source “familiar with the conversations” has told The Daily Beast that Fox News host, Tucker Carlson, has been privately advising President Trump not to take military action against Iran, reportedly telling him that “war with Iran would be a mistake unless it was absolutely necessary.”

According to The Daily Beast, a senior administration official said that Carlson has criticized several of the more “hawkish members” of Trump’s circle. (It was not clear if this was the same or a separate source.)

In particular, on Monday night’s episode of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the host questioned Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s possibly “misplaced confidence” that Iran was responsible for the recent tanker attacks in the Gulf of Oman. Carlson reminded his audience of then-Secretary of State Colin Powell’s certainty that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction in 2003 and said, “We’re still paying the price for that.”

Carlson has also made disparaging remarks about National Security Adviser John Bolton, saying that he was “intentionally creating stronger tension between the United States and Iraq in the interest of instigating military action. Carlson added that, for Bolton, a military conflict between the U.S. and Iran would “be like Christmas, Thanksgiving, his birthday wrapped into one.”

Carlson has been strongly opposed to U.S. military intervention abroad, particularly in the Middle East recently asking, “How is a war with Iran in America’s interest in any way?”

My first reaction to this story was one of surprise. Why would Trump take advice from a talk show host. But Tucker Carlson is one of the sharpest and most well-informed political news hosts around. He’s been following politics for at least 25 years. He has a better grasp of the ways of Washington than most current politicians.

Moreover, it’s not as if Tucker Carlson is determining U.S. policy. He is but one of many voices the President is listening to.

I can easily envision Carlson becoming more directly involved in politics in the future. He would certainly be a devastating debater.

This arrangement is not unprecedented. Although it didn’t end well, former executive chairman of Breitbart News, Steve Bannon, served as White House Chief Strategist for the first seven months of the Trump administration. It’s been thought that Rush Limbaugh sometimes advises Trump as well.

And it has long been rumored that Sean Hannity advises Trump on policy issues.

The Hill reports that “advisors in Trump’s White House, for example, stated that Sean Hannity is often affectionately referred to as the “shadow chief of staff,” due to his frequent interactions with the president and advice he gives him on policy matters.”

Last April, a source told the Washington Post that Hannity “basically has a desk in the place.”

According to the Daily Beast, “The president has made no secret of his affinity for Carlson. Since taking office, Trump has live-tweeted episodes of Tucker Carlson Tonight on at least 20 separate occasions, often promoting or directly quoting Carlson or his guests.”

In Solidarity with Transgender People (& Credit Card Thieves?), Mastercard No Longer Requires a Legal Name or Proof of Identity

Great news: Have you longed for your credit card to say “Howdy Doody?” Have you ached to see “Turd Ferguson” in raised plastic?

You’re in luck, thanks to Mastercard’s new name policy.

In a show of support for people who identify as other people, the company now allows you to use a card displaying your “true name” as opposed to your “dead name.”

In doing so, Mastercard believes it will “ease a major pain point.” In fact, the iconic brand claims 32% of those who’ve whipped out a card sportin’ a name in conflict with their gender identity have reported a negative experience.

Why don’t those in pain just change their name? Otherwise, they’re going to keep running into problems. After all — their license, which is often used to verify the card isn’t stolen, will still show their “dead name.”

Has MC thought this through?

In promotion of the woke new style, here’s a video:

As for using cards with a legal name, one alternate-lifestyle customer shared, “It puts me in a place where I feel like I’m in danger.”

That quote reminds me of a college chant during a Ben Shapiro speech. A sizable group of twenty-somethings was YearnShouting, “Safety! Safety! Safety!”

The whole name issue aside, we have a real problem, it seems to me. And that problem is a generation among which far too many seem to have the strength and sense of power of a pile of seaweed.

We’ve got a very weak future ahead of us.

And Howdy Doody has a future in purchasing expensive items via Wilma Flintstone and Betty Rubble’s favorite method: “Chaaarge IT!”

Those words may also be bellowed by a thief holding your card. Remember my question about your license showing a different name? Have no (or lots of) fear:

“Merchants cannot require ID if [a Mastercard] is signed. However, if the credit card is not signed, the merchant can ask you to show a government-issued ID and sign your credit card on the spot.”

What happened to the last 20 years or so’s outrage over identity theft?

Theft, schmeft — Mastercard’s got new priorities:

“We are allies of the LGBTQIA+ community, which means if we see a need or if this community is not being served in the most inclusive way, we want to be a force for change to help address and alleviate unnecessary pain points.”

So says Randall Tucker, the company’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer.

The Big M’s even put up a sign in NYC honoring various sexual identities:

Personally, if I was a man identifying as a woman or a woman identifying as a man, the most important thing about my credit card would be the fact that no one else could use it.

For any of you concerned that Mastercard’s gone off the deep end in its radical coddling of customers, don’t worry: Like all creditors, it’ll still be siphoning the suckers to the tune of massive amounts of monthly interest. Howdy Doody’s gonna get fleeced.
