Former Sex Educator: Planned Parenthood is Grooming Girls for Abortion Via the Public Education System

Monica Cline — who worked as a sexual health education instructor for Planned Parenthood for ten years — claims young girls are being groomed for abortion via public education.

So reports The Daily Caller.

Monica began her career in 1996 as an HIV prevention educator the Center for Health Training. In 1997, she became Planned Parenthood’s Title X Training Manager for New Mexico and Texas.

The former instructor says she was ordered to teach children about every kind of sexual activity — because, according to the Director of Prevention Education, the kids had probably already done it all:

“It was very explicit. Oral, vaginal, and anal sex, and the use of sex toys.”

To bolster the argument, her superior pointed to multiple PP studies revealing girls as young as 10 coming to clinics for sex-related injuries and the removal of foreign objects, in addition to abortions.

In light of the evidence, Monica asked the director how they could convince children not to have sex. This was the purported response:

“No dear, we aren’t teaching them not to have sex. We are teaching them how to do it safer.”

“Risk reduction is simply telling them how to make the high risk safer by using lubrication and condoms,” Monica clarified. “The next step is to make them understand they need to be tested for STD’s every couple months.”

From The Daily Caller:

She explained that children’s introduction to sex is “illicit sex,” referring to a video children were shown at a Waco, Texas, conference where Cline was present.

Cline taught twelve and thirteen-year-old students a module on healthy relationships while her co-worker taught the same students a module on STD training, which included a video depicting a couple who has just had sex.

The video, called Nicole’s Choice, and sold by sexual educators for $125, shows a girl wake up after a one night stand and realize she must handle the sexually transmitted disease she received from her hookup.

Monica insisted kids were encouraged to engage in sex and then guided into abortion as the solution to pregnancy:

“We were supposed to identify what they are going through. Say, ‘You’re just a teenager, the last thing you want is a baby.’ Identify with her fears. ‘Your parents are probably going to be so mad at you. We can take care of this for you, it’s not a problem.’”

Her characterization is in line with a video I featured in July, which allegedly shows Planned Parenthood counseling teachers on how to help their students hide abortion from parents. See the startling clip here.

As per Monica, PP told her directing the kids to abortion was a must:

“They always went to the extreme. If we don’t do this for this girl, she will live in poverty. Or her parents will commit acts of violence.”

By 2009, she could no longer take the organization’s approach to children.

More from TDC:

Cline attended a human trafficking conference in 2009 while she still worked with Planned Parenthood, thinking she could teach Planned Parenthood employees how to spot red flags and aid victims of human trafficking. At this point, she was Title X Training Manager for Texas and New Mexico.

But when she returned to a Corpus Christi, Texas, clinic to explain her findings to employees, she was met with dismissal.

She recalled them telling her, “Honey, if she’s not having sex with this man this month, she’ll be having sex with another man next month.”

Monica left her post, with a very negative view of the abortion giant:

“Teens are being given false ideas that condoms will cover all the bases. They do tell them to get tested and treated – which means coming back to the clinic – and if they are pregnant they are encouraged to get an abortion. … [Planed Parenthood’s] view of our children is very skewed. They believe that this is what our children want. They don’t see our children as victims, they see them as willing participants.”

What has happened to “education”? That is to say, education was once about…education. Our schools appear to have become indoctrination centers covering topics so far outside of reading, writing, and ‘rithmetc that they couldn’t see one another with a telescope. For more evidence, just see the stunning evidence here.

Personally, I miss the days when kids’ time in school was spent learning academic subjects. Beyond those, it seems to me, we’d be much better off if developing minds were taught how to think, not what to think.

Army Officer Becomes a Media Hero for Breaking Federal Law Endorsing Joe Biden at a Rally

Yesterday, Joe Biden was on the the campaign trail in South Carolina. As part of his campaign rally, a US Army officer, in uniform, addressed the crowd and expressed her admiration for the leadership of Obama and Biden when she was in Afghanistan.

I’ve been saving these coins for six years to meet you and President Obama so if that I ever met you, I would give it to you. I’m so honored to have served under your administration and your leadership and I hope and pray that you will be our next president.

This is wrong on so many levels that one doesn’t even know where to start. It is a blatant, in-your-face, f*** you of Army Regulations and DOD policy for a member of the Armed Forces to attend  a partisan campaign rally in uniform. It is a bigger screw you to speak at the rally and to endorse a candidate for president. The fact that she’s a commissioned officer compounds the matter because she has now brought her political loyalties into her organization and that will have an effect of readiness. A soldier who is a Trump supporter would have every right to be concerned that if she had so little regard for Army Regulations and the traditions of the service as to pull a clown stunt like this that she’d probably have little compunction about punishing him for him being opposed to her politically.

But, unlike the treatment the media dished out to young enlisted men who accepted signed MAGA hats from their Commander-in-Chief (read this by Bonchie back when he was a mere diarist), they are utterly swooning over this lawless act:

So far not a single Twitter blue-check personality has called for her to be punished. Think about this rank hypocrisy of this. Junior enlisted guys get a signed hat regardless of their political affiliation and the media demands they get punished. Commissioned officer attends a political rally in uniform in direct defiance of regulations and it is “bold” and “moving.”

One of the things that sets the US military apart from most other militaries in the world is that ours has never actively participated in partisan politics. Most other nations have had some point in their history where their military either ruled or were the power behind the throne. For that tradition we have exactly one man to thank, a wealthy, white slaveowner named George Washington, for how he responded to an impending military coup by the Continental Army. We can also thank him for establishing the tradition of presidents voluntarily leaving office after two term until that was thrashed by FDR. Maintaining that distance from politics is not easy and it is much harder today than it has been since the eve of the Civil War. It cannot be maintained if commissioned officers start visibly taking sides in political campaigns and endorsing candidates. And the only way you stop this kind of existential rot of the institutional soul is by hammering the living crap out of people who knowingly and willfully break the law.

The Army knows what she did.

Now let’s see if they have the guts to act. My bet is that they don’t.

Dave Chappelle Takes the Abortion Argument to Its Logical End During Comedy Special

Westlake Legal Group Capture-9-620x371 Dave Chappelle Takes the Abortion Argument to Its Logical End During Comedy Special Women Pro-Life men Front Page Stories Featured Story dave chappelle comedy children Abortion

Dave Chappelle’s new comedy special on Netflix is making massive waves, and while I’ve already covered it twice, this moment in his special is one of the ones that really had me paying attention to what he was saying behind what he was saying.

During his set, Chappelle began discussing abortion and began by saying something you typically hear from the left when it comes to making arguments in that if you’re a man, you should stay out of the abortion debate altogether.

Wait for it.

Chappelle doesn’t stop there as many “comedians” do. Instead, Chappelle takes the argument to its logical end and then says something afterward that caught my attention.

“Gentleman, that is fair,” said Chappelle after saying that women shouldn’t have to consult anyone except a physician.

“And ladies, to be fair to us, I also believe that if you decide to have the baby, a man should not have to pay,” said Chappelle. “That’s fair.”

“If you can kill this motherf***er, I can at least abandon them,” he continued. “It’s my money, my choice.”

Chappelle finished by leaving the crowd and the viewer something to ponder. It wasn’t even a joke, just an interesting thing to say after all of that.

“And if I’m wrong, then perhaps we’re wrong,” he said.

*Language warning*

Even when agreeing with the pro-abortion argument, Chappelle manages to find a way to make them angry by declaring that if women can be so independent, then so can the men. I should not that I’m personally not in favor of either of these, but it can’t be ignored that women can’t have it so that they can be both unconcerned with what a man thinks but lay claim to his wallet.

What got my attention, however, was the ending phrase. There is no doubt that many women would take exception to his argument about men not having to be responsible for babies they don’t want. If these women are saying that Chappelle is wrong for standing by that philosophy, then they fall into the category about being wrong about abortion altogether.

I should note that as a pro-life man myself, I think fathers should take absolute responsibility for the children they helped create. Fatherless homes create a myriad of problems all on their own, so I’m not in agreement with Chappelle on either point.

But I like the fact that Chappelle leaves the answer open for discovery, claiming that if it’s wrong for him to think that way about the rights of fathers then perhaps he’s also wrong about the arguments toward abortion.

In effect, Chappelle destroys the idea that men shouldn’t be a part of the conversation. He may, or may not have meant to do that, but he tends to do that a few times throughout his special, where he makes the crowd believe he’s going one way, then turns it on them.

‘What If The Child Has A Bad Life?’ Is Not a Valid Pro-Abortion Argument

My grandmother once told me about meeting my father for the first time, and how disconcerting it was in 1970s culture. My father is Black, and my mother’s family is White. My prim and proper Scottish grandmother was happy to welcome him into their home, although they were a bit apprehensive about my hippie mom dragging yet another hippie through their middle class home. That seemed more annoying to her and my grandfather than my father’s race.

While they learned to accept my mother’s choice in paramour (as my grandmother told it to me) they were especially concerned when the young couple announced their intention to marry. It was fine to marry interracially. They had nothing against Black people.

“But what about the children? What will their lives be like?”…that was my grandparents’ question and they were not alone. That was often the question asked in regards to interracial unions until only quite recently. What about the children?

My grandparents eventually had to live out the answer to that question as they played a huge part in raising me and everyone managed just fine and we all got out alive.

But I think about that question a lot when I’m debating and discussing the issue of abortion.

On my new podcast I’ve been asking people to take the talking points they regularly spout and draw them out to their logical conclusion. It’s an attempt to encourage people to be more thoughtful about the arguments they make. I’m in the middle of a series on abortion and one of the arguments I have addressed is this question people ask a lot…

“What about the baby? What kind of life will the child have?”.

People ask this question with compassionate intentions but it has always disturbed me because every time I hear it I think about my grandparents asking that same question. Frankly, I love being alive and I enjoy my life. It’s so odd to hear someone ask that question because what they’re really saying is, “Maybe it’s better for this person if they just never existed. We wouldn’t want them to have a hard life”.

What about the child? No, really…what about the child? How can anyone think that I would have preferred to be dead over being born a biracial child? How can anyone think that any living adult would prefer to be dead over being born into *insert awful circumstance here*? Surely there are people who have hard lives, even torturous lives and who have wished to die because of it. But most people from terrible circumstances don’t think that way, and in fact go on to live successful and helpful lives because of their difficult experiences, not in spite of. The notion that we should abort a baby on the mere prediction that they will probably not like their lives is not only arrogant but frightening. Who among us can predict what the future has in store for any one person? Who among us should?

The best people come from the worst circumstances. Those people go on to break world athletic records, cure disease, counsel addicts, feed the homeless, live amongst and serve the forgotten, and change our world in ways we really can’t ever properly grasp. We deny ourselves the blessing of those contributions when we make decisions about who’s life will be worth living before they’ve even had a chance to take their first breath of oxygen.

I discussed this issue at length in my latest episode. Please take a listen and let me know what you think.

Just don’t forget to stop and listen to yourself once in a while.

April Ryan: Trump Considered Nuking Hurricanes Because it Would Mean Nuking Parts of Africa

CNN political commentators April Ryan (l) and Angela Rye on “New Day” – 8/26/19. Screen grab via CNN (h/t Newsbusters).

As Kira Davis wrote earlier today, the reports from supposedly reputable media outlets that President Trump suggested “nuking” hurricanes to keep them from hitting the U.S. are clearly fake news to everyone outside of those who (like most of the liberals in CNN’s newsroom) suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome.

A perfect example of the latter comes in the form of CNN political commentator and First Amendment defender April Ryan, fresh off of being given a free pass by her media colleagues after she had a credentialed journalist thrown out of one of her speaking engagements because “When I speak, I don’t have news covering my speech.”

Ryan joined other liberal commentators including the supposedly objective (not really) “New Day” hosts Alisyn Camerota and John Berman in a wildly biased segment talking about Trump’s alleged remarks about nuking hurricanes.

Here’s how it went down (bolded emphasis added):

The unanimously anti-Trump panel on Monday’s New Day melted down at President Trump’s alleged far-fetched suggestion to use nuclear weapons to stop hurricanes headed towards the United States. While everyone on the panel laughed off at the idea, CNN political analyst April Ryan took it a step further by declaring that the desire to nuke hurricanes off the coast of Africa is motivated by racial animus.

[…]

Ryan addressed the reporting on President Trump’s supposed plan by describing how hurricanes “start forming off the coast of Africa, as they’re moving across the Atlantic, we drop a bomb inside the eye of the hurricane and it disrupts it.”

The CNN carnival barker then proceeded to suggest President Trump had a more sinister motive for wanting to use nuclear weapons off the coast of Africa: “He brought in Africa…As we were talking during break, he’s called Africa a sh**hole nation…And what part of Africa are you talking about? Sub-Saharan Africa, where there are mostly black people?”

Watch video of the unhinged segment below:

Newsbusters and Real Clear Politics have the full transcripts.

This is not unlike what deranged leftists said about Bush before, during, and after Hurricane Katrina, suggesting Bush wanted black people to die, etc.

There is just no rationalizing with people who are this far gone, first believing there was even talk of nuking a hurricane, and second for insinuating it was being discussed because racism. Shame on CNN for not only amplifying this hateful nonsense, but for being active participants in it.

If You Want Civility You Just Might Be a Neo-Confederate and Because of That the Left Really Does Want You Dead

This Wednesday, June 28, 2017, shows the statue of Confederate Gen. Stonewall Jackson on Monument Avenue in Richmond, Va. As cities across the United States are removing Confederate statues and other symbols, dispensing with what some see as offensive artifacts of a shameful past marked by racism and slavery, Richmond is taking a go-slow approach. (AP Photo/Steve Helber)

The opinion pages of the nation’s major newspapers never cease to disappoint. Just a couple of weeks ago, the New York Times announced that it has suddenly discovered that everything to do with everything in American history was a direct result of slavery. Now some twit writing at the Washington Post reveals that the whole call for civility by people on the right triggers her because it is exactly like the rhetoric of defenders of slavery in the antebellum South. (For the record, I’ve never before heard of this “Eve Fairbanks” creature and the more I learn of her the less impressed I am.)

So, kiddies, buckle up and get ready for a trip as wild as any involving ‘shrooms or LSC that that ever left you tasting the color yellow and smelling loud sounds. Periodically, I’m going to insert trenchat tweets from Grant Addison, deputy editor at the Washington Examiner, whose tweets alerted me to the masterpiece.

I grew up in a conservative family. The people I talk to most frequently, the people I call when I need help, are conservative. I’m not inclined to paint conservatives as thoughtless bigots. But a few years ago, listening to the voices and arguments of commentators like Shapiro, I began to feel a very specific deja vu I couldn’t initially identify. It felt as if the arguments I was reading were eerily familiar. I found myself Googling lines from articles, especially when I read the rhetoric of a group of people we could call the “reasonable right.”

These are figures who typically dislike President Trump but often say they’re being pushed rightward — sometimes away from what they claim is their natural leftward bent — by intolerance and extremism on the left. The reasonable right includes people like Shapiro and the radio commentator Dave Rubin; legal scholar Amy Wax and Jordan Peterson, the Canadian academic who warns about identity politics; the social psychologist Jonathan Haidt; the New York Times columnist Bari Weiss and the American Enterprise Institute scholar Christina Hoff Sommers, self-described feminists who decry excesses in the feminist movement; the novelist Bret Easton Ellis and the podcaster Sam Harris, who believe that important subjects have needlessly been excluded from political discussions. They present their concerns as, principally, freedom of speech and diversity of thought. Weiss has called them “renegade” ideological explorers who venture into “dangerous” territory despite the “outrage and derision” directed their way by haughty social gatekeepers.

So it felt frustrating: When I read Weiss, when I listened to Shapiro, when I watched Peterson or read the supposedly heterodox online magazine Quillette, what was I reminded of?

You guessed it.

The reasonable right’s rhetoric is exactly the same as the antebellum rhetoric I’d read so much of. The same exact words. The same exact arguments. Rhetoric, to be precise, in support of the slave-owning South.

I’m no authority of pre-Civil War rhetoric–and I doubt very much that Fairbanks is either–but from the reading I’ve done I don’t see much in speeches or newspapers of the time, particularly those in the South, asking for civility. Quite to the contrary. But, arguendo, she’s not just blowing smoke, the very fact that she equates a call for civility in a discussion of basic Constitutional rights and our historic philosophy of governance with the defense of slavery shows why only chumps are aiming for civility. There is no need to be civil when you’re confront an irredeemable evil.

If that sounds absurd — Shapiro and his compatriots aren’t defending slavery, after all — it may be because many Americans are unfamiliar with the South’s actual rhetoric. When I was a kid in public school, I learned the arguments of Sen. John C. Calhoun (D-S.C.), who called slavery a “positive good,” and Alexander Stephens, the Confederacy’s vice president, who declared that the South’s ideological “cornerstone” rested “upon the great truth that the Negro is not equal to the white man.”

I’m going to call bullsh** on this. I went to school in Virginia for 11 of my 12 years. While I’ll be the first to acknowledge that the Holy Trinity was Lee, Jackson, and Stuart, if you can find a dozen Virginia public school students who can name the vice president of the Confederacy and quote him, I’ll kiss your bare butt at high noon at the place of your choosing and I’ll give you an hour to draw a crowd.

They stressed the importance of logic, “facts,” “truth,” “science” and “nature” much more than Northern rhetoricians did. They chided their adversaries for being romantic idealists, ignoring the “experience of centuries.”

They loved hyperbole. Events were “the most extraordinary spectacles” that had “ever challenged the notice of the civilized world,” “too alarming” and threatened “to destroy all that is valuable and beautiful in the institutions of our country.” …

The most important thing to know about them, they held, was that they were not the oppressors. They were the oppressed. They were driven to feelings of isolation and shame purely on the basis of freely held ideas, the right of every thinking man…

Let’s call this particular logic “antebellum reasoning.” Its appeal was that it identified pro-South rhetoricians as the upholders of America’s true heritage: They were, in their own reckoning, dedicated to truth — and persecuted by tyrants…

In Dave Rubin, who says that “if you have any spark of individualism in you, if you have anything about you that’s interesting or different, they” — the left — “will come to destroy that,” I hear the pro-Southern newspaper editor Duff Green: Abolitionists’ intent is “to drive the white man from the South.”

In Bari Weiss — who asserts that “the boundaries of public discourse have become so proscribed as to make impossible frank discussions of anything remotely controversial” and that “perfectly reasonable intellectuals [are] being regularly mislabeled … with every career-ending epithet” — I hear Josiah Nott: “Scientific men who have been bold enough to speak truth … have been persecuted.”

In Ben Shapiro — who ascribes right-wing anger to unwise left-wing provocation (“How do you think people are going to react?”) — I hear a letter printed in the Charleston Mercury, which warned that “if the mad career of the hot headed abolitionists should lead to acts of violence on the part of those whom they so vindictively assail, who shall be accountable? … Not the South.”

And to the bottom line

But today I see what Lincoln feared. Nearly daily, I read some new figure appealing to antebellum reasoning. Joining the reasonable right seems to render these figures desirable contributors to center-left media outlets. That’s because, psychologically, the claim to victimhood can function as a veiled threat. It tricks the listener into entering a world where the speaker is the needy one, fragile, requiring the listener to constantly adjust his behavior to cater to the imperiled person.

With this threat, the reasonable right has recruited the left into serving its purpose. Media outlets and college campuses now go to extraordinary lengths to prove their “balance” and tolerance, bending over backward to give platforms to right-wing writers and speakers who already have huge exposure.

In the human body, viruses use the shells of immune cells to trick other cells into letting them in. Principles like freedom and equality have functioned, through time, as the American immune system, warding off sickness. But they can also be co-opted. As they were more than 150 years ago, ideas like freedom of speech, diversity and respect are now being used to turn opponents of conservatism into helpless hosts, transmitting its ideas.

Actually, there is an insight there that we should consider. If you accept that there is literally no difference between, say, arguing that men and women are different and arguing blacks are inferior to whites, of course you will try to ruin careers and shout down the opposition and to have them deplatformed. Where the reasonable conservatives think they are in a debate and debates can only take place in the context of civility and mutual respect, many of us on the right have recognized for several years that this is not the situation and striving for civility is a chump’s game pursued by chumps. Many of us, in fact, completely agree with Kurt Schlichter:

They really do want to be in control of your child’s eduction. They really do want to put off limits a wide variety of viewpoints and make people holding positions with which they disagree social pariahs. You won’t be left in peaces because, as Erick Erickson used to say, You will be made to care. These people really do want you dead. And it makes as much sense to deal with people like that by trying to reason with them as it would with rabid curs. If you want to find common ground with these people, please move over to The Bulwark or National Review so you can wait with an untroubled mind for the cattle cars to come to fetch you. I have other plans.

Colorado School Bans Teen After Going to a Shooting Range With Mother, Even After Police Clear Him

Westlake Legal Group man-886601_1280-620x388 Colorado School Bans Teen After Going to a Shooting Range With Mother, Even After Police Clear Him threat assessment Politics high school Guns gun rights gun control Front Page Stories Featured Story Colorado Allow Media Exception Academia

I’ve constantly pushed education about firearms over blind fear because blind fear tends to make people make stupid decisions. Case in point, Loveland High School in Loveland, Colorado is currently proving me correct.

According to the Second Amendment Group “Rally for Our Rights,” Justine Myers picked up her 16-year-old son Nate early from school in order to take him to go target shooting as a way to bond with her son.

Nat had apparently posted a couple of videos from his cell phone to social media displaying the guns he was going to be shooting with, and his mother instructing him while he fired them at the range.

After the two had come home from the range, police arrived at their door, having gotten reports that Nate was a potential threat due to his posting firearms online.

After viewing the videos, police determined that the Myers family had done nothing illegal, were using legally owned firearms, and that Nate was not a threat to anyone. As “Rally for Our Rights” states, that should have been the end of it, but things only went downhill from there.

On Wednesday morning, Myers woke up to a voicemail from her son’s high school saying that he would not be allowed to return to school as he had been deemed a threat:

The voicemail informed Justine that a report had come in claiming Nate was a threat to the school and he was not allowed to return until further notice. The report presumably came through Safe 2 Tell.  There are reports that a school wide email was also sent to parents about the “threat”.   Justine immediately contacted the school assuming she could easily clear things up, especially since the police had already assessed the situation and realized no one had done anything wrong or made any threats.  She was wrong.  The school not only refused to provide her with more information about the “threat”, but they refused to provide Nate with schoolwork so he doesn’t get behind.

She was told that she could attend a “threat assessment hearing” on Thursday morning with seven school officials in attendance so that she can “make their case” for her son’s innocence.

Legal experts told “Rally for Our Rights” that the school is currently within legal bounds to do this, and while I can respect legality, I can’t respect misplaced panic.

The police cleared Nate of being a threat and everything the Myers family was doing was completely legal. Loveland high is essentially punishing the Myers family for the act of doing nothing wrong based on the false need to feel overly cautious. Erring on the side of caution is one thing, but the cultural assumption that people who enjoy shooting firearms are possible threats that should be taken seriously is going to make everyone scared of a majority of America.

What bothers me most is that this seems to me like more than just precaution.

The school should be good with simply calling the police and asking for a report about what happened. Upon the police telling them that there is nothing to worry about, the case should have been done. That it wasn’t says there’s more here than just school officials wanting to make sure everything is fine.

It comes off more as a message, or at least, that’s what the optics seem like. It’s clear that a mother and son weren’t doing anything to be worried about, and even the police agree. Maintaining that there needs to be a “threat assessment” after that would definitely put other parents of the mind that any mention of firearms or guns in public is a bad idea.

Silence about practicing and standing up for your Second Amendment right becomes a risky venture.

Maybe that’s the intent of the school officials, or maybe it’s not, but that’s the effect it’s going to have regardless.

Trump Administration Bans Democrat Staffers From Border Facilities

The Department of Homeland Security made a decision this week to ban Democrat staffers working for the House Oversight Committee from visiting border facilities. This came after reports of disruptive behavior and a refusal to follow rules on previous trips.

This via Fox News.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has barred Democratic staffers from the House Oversight Committee from visiting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facilities at the U.S.-Mexico border as part of a planned trip this week after committee staff allegedly were “disruptive” and refused to follow instructions during their last trip, Fox News has learned.

Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings, D-Md., had sent his staff to visit border facilities for “oversight inspections” last week and planned to send staff again to view Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and CBP centers.

But sources told Fox News that DHS has revoked access to CBP facilities for the upcoming visit, citing staff behavior that “interfered” with law enforcement operations — including refusing to leave one site after their scheduled window, skipping some tours and being “rude” to officers. A DHS official said that ICE visits will still be allowed this week, but with a two-hour time limit. One of those visits took place on Tuesday.

“Due to the operational burden placed on the field by their refusal to comply with instruction during last week’s STAFFDEL [staff delegation visit], CBP pulled the trip in which more site visits were to take place at CBP and ICE facilities this week,” a senior DHS official told Fox News in an email Wednesday. “DHS communicated to the committee that due to their conduct, CBP could not support visits from the committee this week.”

Some will get upset about this but I’m fine with it. CBP and ICE can not do their jobs properly with Democrat staffers running around politicizing everything and refusing to listen to instructions and follow schedules. These facilities have limited resources and the agencies running them hold legal liability for those in their care. Staffers were said to have been flouting the regulations on taking pictures, overstaying tours, showing up late for others, and making demands of DHS that were not disclosed in earlier communications.

Democrats are claiming this hampers their oversight role but that’s nonsense. Any Congressional member is still perfectly capable of getting on an airplane and visiting themselves. There’s no mandate that the administration must accept whoever Congressional members send down to “inspect” things.

Further, nothing Congress is doing has been attempted in good faith. They’ve routinely lied about conditions at the border while ignoring the impossible position DHS has been put in. Meanwhile, they’ve sought to stifle funding that’s desperately needed to house people properly, all while they complain people aren’t being housed properly. Comparisons to Nazis and the Gestapo have also been made Congressional members in public settings.

There’s no reason that DHS should go out of its way to accommodate people who refuse to treat them fairly in return.

Disgraceful: Israeli Wins World Judo Championship, but Egyptian Quarter-Final Opponent Refuses to Shake Hands

Sagi Muki of Israel won the World Judo Championship on Wednesday in Tokyo, but it would appear that his Egyptian opponent considered it wrong to shake his hand after his defeat due to prejudice against Israelis.

After a match, it’s proper for opponents to bow and then shake hands. As you can see in the video, as Muki bowed and offered his hand, Mohamed Abdelaal of Egpyt turns his back on Muki and walked away, eliciting boos from the crowd.

Luckily, Belgium’s Matthias Casse did not have the same hangups after he lost to Muki, giving Muki the championship.

According to the Daily Wire, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened:

In August 2016, after he lost his first-round judo match at the Rio Olympics to Israel’s Or Sasson, ranked fifth in the world, Egyptian judo fighter Islam El Shehaby refused to shake Sasson’s hand, prompting boos from the crowd. El Shehaby was automatically defeated when Sasson threw him twice with roughly a minute and a half remaining in the bout. El Shehaby lay flat on his back, then stood with Sasson in front of the referee. Sasson extended his hand, but El Shehaby backed away, shaking his head, prompting the referee to tell El Shehaby he should return to the mat and bow. Instead, El Shehaby simply nodded his head.

Anti-Israel media in Egypt had urged the 25th ranked El Shahaby to avoid competing against Sasson; Mataz Matar, a TV host on Al-Sharq, warned, “My son watch out, don’t be fooled, or fool yourself thinking you will play with the Israeli athlete to defeat him and make Egypt happy … Egypt will cry; Egypt will be sad and you will be seen as a traitor and a normalizer in the eyes of your people.”

In 2017 at Abu Dhabi’s judo championships, they refused to play Israel’s national anthem or display the Israeli flag, playing the World Judo Championship anthem instead. Gold medal winner Tal Flicker chose to quietly sing the anthem to himself instead.

This isn’t just a story of a few disrespected athletes. This is a testament to the bigotry exhibited by antisemitic cultures toward Israel.

Kira Davis: ‘Hurricane Nukes’ is Fake News and You Have to Be Pretty Deranged to Think Otherwise

Westlake Legal Group nuclear-weapons-test-67557_1280-620x325 Kira Davis: ‘Hurricane Nukes’ is Fake News and You Have to Be Pretty Deranged to Think Otherwise Trump Derangement Syndrome Trump pence nuke Morons hurricane Front Page Stories Featured Story fake news

Did you hear that Trump thinks we can nuke hurricanes? What an idiot! You can’t nuke a hurricane. Only a complete and total moron would believe that. How did we get a president who is so stupid? We’re doomed!!!!!!!!!!

You’ve probably seen some version of the above paragraph in your social media over the last few days. “Reports” from “sources” say that Trump told Homeland Security officials they should think about nuking hurricanes before they land on U.S. shores. Without any direct sourcing of the ridiculous claim, Axios completely O’Donnell’ed it and ran with the story anyway.

Naturally, President Trump denied the entire thing because despite the current narrative from the Not My President Trump Derangement Choir he is not a three year old child. In politics a lot of rumors fly around, and there are a lot of things that aren’t true but are yet believable. Then there are things that make the believer look like a complete moron. This would be one of those things.

Because seriously…you have to be a complete and utter moron to believe that Trump is such a complete and utter moron that he thinks you can – or should – nuke a hurricane. Trump is one of the richest men in the nation. If for no other reason than he needs to know how to build things that he can sell, Trump has at least a basic knowledge of physics and science…at the very least as much as the rest of us have. You have to be completely consumed with rage against Trump to believe he actually thinks that.

George Bush was the dumbest man alive until Trump took office. Now people love GWB. They see pictures of him laughing with the Obamas and think of his presidency with nostalgia, even though during that time those same people were calling him Literally HitlerWestlake Legal Group 2122 Kira Davis: ‘Hurricane Nukes’ is Fake News and You Have to Be Pretty Deranged to Think Otherwise Trump Derangement Syndrome Trump pence nuke Morons hurricane Front Page Stories Featured Story fake news . People actually believed he knew nothing about anything, but few people would say that about him today.

It is astounding that no one recognizes this pattern of Derangement Syndrome, but I guess an addict never really thinks they’re addicted until it’s too late.

No, Trump did not seriously suggest nuking hurricanes. I can’t promise he didn’t make a joke to that effect because if you read his timeline you’ll see Trump is a surprisingly funny guy (or he hires funny people to write his jokes). But because I’m not a moron, I can promise you Donald Trump doesn’t really want to drop nukes into a hurricane.

I can’t tell what is worse – that this is even a story or that a great majority of media outlets have devoted significant word counts to “debunking” it. This is 2019, people. It’s time to grow up a little bit.

Here’s Mike Pence confirming what those of us who are not morons already know.
