Amazon to Create 1,000 Jobs In Atlanta As Boycott Threats Over Georgia Heartbeat Bill Continue to be Laughable

Westlake Legal Group amazon-fedex-apple-buycott-packages-money-620x325 Amazon to Create 1,000 Jobs In Atlanta As Boycott Threats Over Georgia Heartbeat Bill Continue to be Laughable Politics jobs Hollywood Heartbeat Bill Georgia Front Page Stories Featured Story Economy Business & Economy ATLANTA amazon Allow Media Exception Abortion

They thought they were going to bring the hammer of reproductive justice — whatever that is — down on Georgia after Gov. Brian Kemp passed the Heartbeat bill into law, essentially making abortions illegal in the state with certain exceptions. Hollywood celebrities thought they could convince their fellow elites to shun the southern state.

However, the state that made Chick-fil-A is only getting more business as, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Amazon has decided to open up a warehouse facility in the heart of Atlanta. It’s like an unintentional trophy laid right at Kemp’s doorstep:

Georgia lost out on the hunt for Amazon’s second headquarters last year, but it won a consolation prize Wednesday when the e-commerce giant announced it would open a warehouse facility in metro Atlanta that will create 1,000 jobs.

The company said the 700,000-square-foot facility — a bit smaller than an average mall — will bridge Gwinnett and DeKalb counties and house workers who will pack and ship customer orders. Employees will also be hired to handle finances, information technology and other roles.

Given, Georgia made Amazon a very sweet offer in order for them to decide to plant the second campus. Since New York fell through thanks to the actions of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, where New York’s most famous politician was willing to leave it, Georgia may still be in the running to pull up quick to retrieve it. According to the AJC, it’s a pretty solid state-funded incentive:

Documents released to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution offered a glimpse of what the state offered to entice the corporate campus that involved more than $2 billion worth of publicly funded incentives, including an academy to train its employees and an exclusive lounge at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

The 1,000 jobs that Amazon would bring into Georgia’s Gwinnett county has, from the sounds of it, been on the books for months, even getting a fancy code-name:

The project, code-named “Project Rocket,” has long been the source of intrigue. Gwinnett’s County Commission earlier approved plans for an 80-foot-tall warehouse in September off West Park Place Boulevard, just south of U.S. 78. And officials in DeKalb, home to a roughly 12-acre chunk of the site, recently rejected a proposal to build a third entrance.

What does this tell us.

Apparently states can sign whatever abortion bill they want, and if they’re business friendly enough, corporations will still happily settle in and get to work. Despite their best efforts, leftist elitists still can’t beat the awe inspiring power of capitalism.

McDonald’s Thinks Developing a Chicken Sandwich Will Help Them Compete with Chick-fil-A, but It’s Off by Miles

The Chick-fil-A at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA. Screen grab via CFA.

The number one fast food chain on the planet is seeing a major threat on the horizon, and it smells like chicken sandwiches and waffle fries.

Chick-fil-A is fast becoming America’s most well known and most loved fast food chain. It’s on track to become the third most successful store in its class, surpassing other national brands like Wendy’s and Sonic and falling behind only Starbucks and the most famous chain on the planet.

McDonald’s has noticed Chick-fil-A’s rise, and it wants to make sure that the Christian chain can never step on its toes. With that in mind, McDonald’s has decided that it’s going to begin creating a sandwich that could possibly compete with America’s current chicken sandwich champion.

“A Chicken Sandwich at McDonald’s should be our top priority,” the National Owners Association board said in an email addressed to fellow operators on Tuesday according to MSN.

“Chick Fil A’s results demonstrate the power of chicken,” the board added.

In any other kind of business environment, McDonald’s would be making the right move. The problem for McDonald’s is that while Chick-fil-A’s food is nigh unbeatable in the fast food market, the chain is so much more than chicken, shakes, and fries.

Chick-fil-A is backed by a Christian philosophy that drives their business. It’s corporate mission is “to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come into contact with Chick-fil-A,” as stated by Chick-fil-A’s about its corporate purpose. This Christian drive for being a positive influence makes them focus on hospitality and good service.

Chick-fil-A’s vice president David Farmer described the company’s approach to the customer’s experience as “[NASCAR] pit crew efficiency, but where you feel like you just got hugged in the process.”

And they do this very well. The chicken sandwich chain is so good at getting customers in and out with all the friendliness and warmth of a church door greater on Sunday that it’s become an internet meme. As it happens, I had a semi-jocular conversation with my RedState colleague Bonchie about it today, recalling the fact that I actually had to leave a Chick-fil-A drive-thru line solely out of fear that I’d be hit by cars due to the fact that the drive-thru line had spilled into the road and extended into the intersection before it.

This isn’t a rare occurrence, either, as this is a phenomenon that happens all around the country. People are willing to queue up in these lines because they know they’re not going to be waiting long thanks to the swiftness of Chick-fil-A’s employees.

Air traffic controllers don’t operate this efficiently.

I’ve been to many a McDonald’s in my day. Going in there is usually a hit or miss experience. I might get a friendly employee who takes my order and sends me on my way after only a few moments. I might also get a bored employee who clearly doesn’t want to be there and shows it in their attitude toward me. I’m one more obstacle in their quest to sit around and do nothing while they run down the clock.

Hopefully your order is complete, and after all that, you still have to eat McDonald’s. I haven’t been in one in years except to use it as an impromptu stop for a restroom on road trips.

McDonald’s thinks this is about a chicken sandwich. Yeah, the sandwich helps, but Chick-fil-A feels like a business with weight and substance to it. Meanwhile, McDonald’s feels like every other sterilized corporation that is more concerned with money than good service. They served food that was unfit for humans until Jamie Oliver uncovered what kind of meat they were serving to humans, and then quietly stopped doing it.

Meanwhile, Chick-fil-A has walked through fire and came out unburnt like some kind of Christian Khaleesi. After LGBT activists attempted to punish Chick-fil-A for its leaders daring to say it believed in traditional marriage — like any Christian would — Chick-fil-A walked away more popular and wealthy than ever. Even today, no matter how hard they try, left-leaning activists can’t seem to stop the juggernaut.

This endeared Chick-fil-A to the masses, not only because it stood tall against the bullies, but because it came out on top afterward.

It’s a proven corporation with classic American values, Christian principles, solid food, and customer service that many corporations only dream of.

McDonald’s doesn’t have a chicken sandwich problem, it has a “it’s nothing like Chick-fil-A” problem.

Oops: House Democrats Mistakenly Post ‘Kids in Cages’ Pics from Obama Era to Promote anti-Trump Hearing

House Oversight Committee Democrats were caught in a couple of significant “oopsies” on Twitter Tuesday, when it was discovered not one but two tweets they posted this month to promote a “kids in cages” immigration hearing that was held earlier today contained images of kids in cages during the Obama administration.

Fox News reports:

“Last week, members of our committee visited a detention center at the southern border and discovered grotesque treatment of children,” the first tweet, posted Tuesday afternoon, said. “This week, we are examining the inhumane treatment of the children in these detention centers.”

But the tweet included a photograph taken by The Associated Press in 2014, during the Obama administration, showing migrants in detention in Arizona. The Trump campaign flagged the soon-deleted tweet and noted the image comes from a time when current Democratic presidential primary front-runner Joe Biden was vice president.

“House Democrats are promoting their ‘civil rights’ hearing on ‘kids in cages’ and ‘inhumane treatment’ with a photo from 2014, when Joe Biden was Vice President,” the tweet read. “So dishonest!”

According to The Daily Caller, House Democrats then put up a new tweet with a different photograph — also, it turns out, from the Obama administration years. That tweet was soon deleted as well, after it was noticed by their Republican counterparts on the committee.

“You all know that’s a picture from 2014, right? Remind us who was President then,” the tweet said.

Here’s are screen grabs of the tweets. The first one was from July 2nd, according to Caleb Hull. The second one was from Tuesday the 9th:

If they were truly interested in the whole truth, why not just alter the text on the images to read “Kids in Cages: Inhumane Treatment at the Border from 2014-2019”? Because asking for a full accounting regarding the origins of the “kids in cages” issues on the border is apparently just too much:

“The photo was an error, and it has been removed. But there is simply no comparison between the actions of the Obama Administration and the Trump Administrations,” a committee aide on the Democratic side told the Washington Examiner. “The Obama Administration did not separate children from their families and create dehumanizing conditions as a way to deter immigration and asylum, which is the stated policy of the Trump Administration. The Obama Administration separated children only in an extremely small number of cases when there was a true danger to the child’s safety.”

Last month, Obama’s former ICE chief Thomas Homan confirmed once again how and when the issues with putting kids behind the chain-link fences began.

Confederate Railroad Cancellation a “Teachable Moment”?

The Du Quoin State Fair is set to begin August 23rd in Du Quoin, Illinois. It’s an 11-day event complete with “rides, food, grandstand shows, free entertainment, harness races, motorsports, half-mile track, twilight parade, horse shows, livestock, cooking competitions, karaoke contest, home show events, and so much more….”

The Fair also features musical acts including, up until several days ago, the band “Confederate Railroad.”  The country rock band was founded in 1987 in Marietta, GA, and has been associated with such notables as George Jones, Charlie Daniels, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Now, however, the band has been disinvited from the Fair.  Per Yahoo:

Country rock band Confederate Railroad confirmed that it was dropped from the lineup at the Du Quoin State Fair in Illinois because of its name.
The group’s founder and frontman Danny Shirley wrote in a statement on the band’s website on Tuesday that the Illinois Department of Agriculture’s decision was “very disappointing as we have played this fair before and enjoyed it very much.”

Following the cancellation, the Illinois Department of Agriculture released a statement:

“While every artist has a right to expression, we believe this decision is in the best interest of serving all the people of our state.”

Initially, though, the Department declined to confirm it was due to the band’s name. Then things got really interesting. As reported by CBS affiliate KFVS12, Illinois State Representative Terri Bryant detailed her efforts to investigate the cancellation on Facebook:

I have been trying to sort truth from fiction in the issue of entertainment decisions at our two State Fairs. I know…

Posted by Bryant for Illinois on Monday, July 8, 2019

In the post, Bryant describes her meeting with “two high-ranking members of [Illinois Governor J.B.] Pritzker’s Exec. Staff.” Per Bryant:

I was informed in no uncertain terms, that the decision to cancel CR was made by the Pritzker administration, including the two people sitting with me at the table.

….

They refused my insistence that Confederate Railroad be permitted to perform. Their reasoning was that they have a hard fast rule not to permit any use of the Confederate flag in any way. When I asked what their policy was pertaining to a sitting President being depicted in the way President Trump is depicted on Snoop Dogg’s album cover, they said, they had no such policy.

In fact, I was told by one of the Governor’s staffers that I should use this case as a “teachable moment” for the people of Southern Illinois. I am serious…that is what the staffer said.
In short, the Pritzker administration canceled Confederate Railroad because the Confederate flag offends many people.

They refused to cancel Snoop Dogg even though it offends many people. I believe in very limited government censorship. I believe even less in double standards.

If you’re like me, this sentence made you do a double-take: “I was told by one of the Governor’s staffers that I should use this case as a “teachable moment” for the people of Southern Illinois.”  I wrote about the divide between Illinois’ power centers and downstate last fall. Since that time, Pritzker was elected Governor and has signed into law a series of measures that can fairly be described as progressive (and not in line with the sensibilities of many downstate residents), including a significant gas tax hike (doubled) and broad abortion protections, among others. There have been increasing rumblings, in fact, of a separation between red and blue Illinois:

There’s a civil war of sorts under way in Illinois – pitting Chicago against much of the rest of the state.  This dispute is one of politics and policy and it has even led to a resolution being filed by a group of Republicans that would split Illinois into two separate states.

While this prospect may not be reaching critical mass anytime soon, my guess is referring to this decision — which one might reasonably debate — as a “teachable moment” for “the people of Southern Illinois” isn’t likely to help in that regard. All it does is further serve to highlight the attitudinal divide.

Condescension really isn’t a pretty look. Neither is viewpoint discrimination.

AOC Accuses Pelosi of Making Her Do Actual Work

The inter-party fighting between Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Nancy Pelosi keeps getting more ridiculous.

The most recent volley involved Pelosi telling her members that she wants them to bring their problems to her and to stop tweeting their displeasure about their colleagues to the public. This came in an address to the House Democratic caucus seeking to unify the warring factions.

The Daily Mail reported on what happened as well as some other interesting comments from AOC.

‘You got a complaint? You come and talk to me about it. But do not tweet about our Members and expect us to think that that is just ok,’ the speaker told them according to a source in the room.

The speaker pushed to cool tensions between her more moderate and liberal wings of the party in the wake of a public boiling over that was partially due to comments she made to The New York Times about Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her ‘squad’ of liberal lawmakers.

Asking AOC not to tweet her grievances is like asking her not to breath, so yeah, good luck with that one.

Pelosi predictably took a shot at Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell as well in an attempt to deflect criticism from her own caucus over the latest border funding bill.

‘Mitch McConnell would have been very happy if we passed nothing, and nothing was done. He doesn’t care about the children,’ she said of the Senate GOP leader.

‘But to have nothing go to the children. I just couldn’t do that. I’m here to help the children when it’s easy and when it’s hard. Some of you are here to make a beautiful pâté but we’re making sausage most of the time,’ she added.

McConnell preferred to do nothing so he…sent the House a clean, bi-partisan bill for them to pass. Sounds logical.

Something else stuck out to me in the article though, namely that AOC is quoted as complaining that Nancy Pelosi was making her do actual work.

The most prominent of those is Ocasio-Cortez, who has become a Democratic force to be reckoned with – a prominence she suggested the party leadership was aware of, noting she was given several prominent committee assignments in an effort to keep her busy – and likely out of their hair.

‘I was assigned to some of the busiest committees and four subcommittees. So my hands are full. And sometimes I wonder if they’re trying to keep me busy,’ she said.

Yes, yes they are trying to keep you busy. You see, being elected to Congress is not about Instagram and staged photo-ops at the border. It’s about actually getting things done. That means serving on committees, doing research, helping write bills, and generally trying to be of some use in governing. Freshman members do not get to walk in and start setting policy platforms and are expected to earn their dues.

This apparently came as a shock to AOC, who sees the fact that she was (stupidly) given top committee assignments as a negative that’s holding her down. I mean, how is she supposed to riff about concentration camps and global warming all the time on Twitter if she’s got to show up for work?

I’m just glad AOC is here to remind us how difficult it is to be an elected official in Congress. I mean, you’ve got go to work for almost half the year. Your average American clearly couldn’t handle such a grueling schedule.

Being on the lam from police can make a person nervous.

But when you’re hiding from cops, every criminal knows there’s one thing you never do.

Every criminal — but one.

This past weekend in Missouri, law enforcement was able to “sniff out” a suspect wanted for a controlled substance violation.

While hiding — and with cops trying to figure out their location — the subject of the hunt blew it.

Out of their lower intestine, that is.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Dept. posted to Facebook about the incident:

Apparently, despite the charge, their fart was one substance they couldn’t control.

I suppose it’s fitting that the incident occurred in Liberty — in an ironic and poetic twist (of the colon), the perhaps-soon-to-be-jailed suspect gave the fart its freedom.

As the city put it:

As for the moral of the story: Remember, kids — when you’re trying to avoid the lurking popo, watch out for APB’s (an Alerting-Police Butt while running from an All Poots Bulletin).

And depending on what you’ve had to eat, beware not only the popo, but that same word with the last two letters reversed. Again — controlling the substance is key.

High School Students Give Autistic Classmate Graduation Ceremony ‘Miracle’

A high school graduation can be a loud, celebratory atmosphere with students and families cheering as names are called and graduates are handed their diploma’s. For a student with autism that has sensory issues, this could be a nightmare. At a high school in New York, they created a graduation atmosphere in which he would be comfortable to receive his diploma.

Here’s what Principal Lou Riolo said with a video of the event posted on YouTube:

An amazing thing took place at Carmel High School’s graduation. One of our students Jack Higgins was presented with his diploma. Jack graduated after 8 years. He is a wonderful member of our student community. Jack has autism and with that comes sensory issues. At graduation the student body and several thousand individuals were asked to not clap or cheer so Jack could participate. What followed was nothing short of a miracle. We shot for the moon but instead reached the stars.
Congratulations to the Carmel High School class of 2019. For graduating, sure, but mostly for being good humans. That’s far more important.

There are self-owns, and then there are epic self-owns. The one performed by women’s World Cup soccer champ Megan Rapinoe Tuesday night during an interview on Rachel Maddow’s show falls into the latter category.

We’ll get to that in a second. But first, some background.

In addition to being engaged in a very public war of words with President Trump, Rapinoe – one of the more vocal members of the women’s team – has been an outspoken proponent of “equal pay.” In fact, she and other members of the U.S. team filed a lawsuit earlier this year on the grounds that they were not being treated fairly by the league based on their gender:

Three months before beginning their defense of their Women’s World Cup title, American players escalated their legal dispute with the U.S. Soccer Federation over equal treatment and pay.

Players filed a federal discrimination lawsuit against the federation Friday, alleging ongoing “institutionalized gender discrimination” that includes unequal pay with their counterparts on the men’s national team.

The women’s team has often championed equal rights issues and sought more equitable pay during collective bargaining two years ago.

“I think a lot of people look to us and our team and the collective voice that we have and what we’ve stood for, for inspiration and for power, and as an ally in this broader fight for equality and human rights, really,” said winger Megan Rapinoe, a co-captain and veteran of 149 international appearances.

But as A.G. Hamilton wrote at National Review a couple of days ago, there is no equal pay discrimination issue at play here for the women’s team:

In reality, relative to the men’s World Cup, it was actually the women’s teams that were being paid a much larger share of what they brought in. While [mainstream media] articles noted that the U.S. women’s team brings in more money than the men’s team, they all managed to ignore the more-relevant disparity in revenue: The men’s tournament brought in over $6 billion in revenue in 2018, while the women’s tournament is estimated to only have brought in $131 million in 2019. The prize pools are taken from those revenue totals. In other words, the women’s prize pool was approximately 23 percent of their total revenue, while the men’s prize pool consisted of approximately 7 percent of revenue. The winning men’s players received only about four times as much as the winning female players, despite bringing in over 45 times as much revenue. These numbers should make it obvious that there is no substantive case that the women’s team is underpaid relative to their male counterparts, but the media managed to ignore those facts.

Forbes.com‘s Mike Ozanian put it in even simpler terms in a piece he wrote on this issue back in March around the time the lawsuit was filed:

The men still pull the World Cup money wagon. The men’s World Cup in Russia generated over $6 billion in revenue, with the participating teams sharing $400 million, less than 7% of revenue. Meanwhile, the Women’s World Cup is expected to earn $131 million for the full four-year cycle 2019-22 and dole out $30 million to the participating teams.

In short, if you can bring in the revenue, you can bring more money into your own pocket – and it doesn’t matter what your gender is.

In the interview segment from Tuesday night, Rachel Maddow noted that in the World Cup championship game, the fans started “equal pay” chants in the stands. She asked Rapinoe how soccer fans could get more involved in helping the players in their fight. Here’s what Rapinoe said:

“Fans can come to games. Obviously, national team games would be a hot ticket. But we have nine teams in the NWSL. You can go to your league games. You can support that way. You can buy players’ jerseys, you can lend your support in that way. You can tell your friends about it, you can become season ticket holders. I think in terms of that, that’s the easiest way for fans to get involved.”

Watch video of her response below:

Her answer prompted some rather obvious questions and comments:

Maybe math is just too hard for Rapinoe and her teammates. Either that, or wallowing in perceived victimhood just comes natural to so-called “progressive” women. Either way, Rapinoe has undercut her own argument regarding supposed pay discrimination based on gender, proving to anyone not looking to bask in Woke GloryWestlake Legal Group 2122 Video: Soccer Player Megan Rapinoe Accidentally Undercuts Her Own Equal Pay Discrimination Argument Sports soccer Rachel Maddow Politics North Carolina New York Megan Rapinoe LGBTQ LGBT gay rights Front Page Stories Front Page Feminism Featured Story Featured Post democrats Culture Allow Media Exception that all of this has been more about narcissistic grandstanding and virtue signaling on her part than anything else.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll get back to my tea.

On Wings of Eagles – A Tribute to Ross Perot

Billionaire H. Ross Perot died yesterday at the age of 89 after an ultimately unsuccessful fight with leukemia. Perot, is mostly known for his two failed presidential campaigns. There are some who blame him for President H.W. Bush’s loss to Bill Clinton. I am not among them. But that’s not the subject of today’s offering. Ross Perot was much more than an “eccentric” billionaire turned politician.

Perot is also a legend in American Military circles. We’ve all heard the old adage: There are 3 types of people; Those Who Make Things Happen, Those Who Watch Things Happen, and Those Who Wonder What Happened. Perot wasn’t someone who things happened to, or who continually wondered, “What happened?” He made things happen.

Today during his morning show, David Webb and I had a conversation about Operation Hotfoot, Ross Perot’s private, personally funded operation to rescue two of his executives from an Iranian prison, just days before the return of Ayatollah Khomeini and the Iranian revolution—a revolution that resulted in the imprisonment of 52 American hostages by the revolutionary “government.”

When Perot learned that two of his executives had been jailed on trumped up charges, he immediately began exploring all avenues to gain their release, both inside government channels and out. Ultimately, he ended up hiring a U.S. Army Special Forces legend, retired Colonel Arthur “Bull” Simons, to train some of his employees who had volunteered to help break the two prisoners out.

Simons put the team through a rigorous training regimen at Perot’s weekend place near Dallas, Texas. The training and rehearsals paid off during the operation, when unforeseen circumstances required decisions and changes on the fly.

Without going into egregious detail, Operation Hotfoot was a resounding success. Perot’s team, led by Colonel Simons, was able to rescue the two jailed employees and get them across the border into Turkey and ultimately back to the United States…without firing a shot. You can find what I consider the best account of this operation in Ken Follett’s book, “On Wings of Eagles.”

Mr. Webb wrapped up the segment declaring Ross Perot as “larger than life.” He’s right. H. Ross Perot, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, understood what any military commander knows; Your subordinates/employees are more than just that, they are your personal responsibility.

During a post rescue, Associated Press Interview, Paul Chiapparone, one of the two Perot employees held by the Iranians said, “Ross came to the prison one day and said, ‘We’re going to get you out.’” Chiapparone then pointedly asked the reporter, “How many CEOs would do that today?”

Indeed.

Totally Woke Joe Manchin Joins the Stampede To Pay Women Soccer Players More Than Their Economic Value

It seems like every four years we go through this. The US Women’s National Team will participate in the Women’s World Cup. Then there will be days or weeks of bitching and moaning about how the male players get paid so much more than the women players. You’ll hear commentators talk about Abby Wambach’s 184 goals making her the highest scoring player in international competition, male or female, as though the sport Wambach plays is the same as men’s soccer. Don’t fool yourself. It isn’t. If it was the the same, then Wambach and the rest of the sisterhood wold be suiting up for Arsenal or Real Madrid or Juventus or Bayern FC and they would be getting paid the same as the men.

The fact is, that US women soccer players get paid just about the same as the US men players. The difference comes during World Cup where players get a share of the revenue and, quite honestly, outside a handful of Western countries absolutely no one cares about women’s soccer. (See this for the revenue disparity explanation..) One might even say the US men get paid less than the women because there is zero chance of a US men’s team getting withing sniffing distance of a World Cup championship.

But none of this has stopped politicians from tripping over themselves in an effort to ingratiate themselves to the economic illiterates who fancy that this pay gap is a function of misogyny and not of market forces.

Perhaps the best response came from West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin:

West Virginia Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin announced a bill Tuesday to withhold federal dollars for the men’s World Cup unless the U.S. women’s national soccer team receives pay equity.

Manchin’s proposed bill would deny federal funding for the men’s 2026 FIFA tournament, which the U.S. will co-host along with Canada and Mexico, unless there’s equal pay between both the men’s and women’s soccer teams.

“The clear unequitable pay between the U.S. men’s and women’s soccer teams is unacceptable and I’m glad the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team latest victory is causing public outcry,” Senator Manchin said. “They are the best in the world and deserve to be paid accordingly.”

While this proposal is counterfactual and stupid, there is at least one good reason to get behind it. There is no way the US Soccer governing body can fork over this kind of cash for a sport that has very little commercial appeal, so, inadvertently, it could very well end up doing to men’s soccer what Title IX did to wrestling, swimming, and track and field.
