The Oregon clash between Antifa and conservative demonstrators was “complete anarchy and lawlessness,” according to a journalist injured in an attack by alleged members of the group.

Andy Ngo told Todd Starnes Monday on “The Todd Starnes Show” he was covering the Portland demonstration Saturday when the protesters turned their attention to him.

“I moved towards the front of the march with my GoPro and my camera, and what I recall is somebody ran hard into behind me and hit me very hard in the back of my head,” he said.

“They were marching, ironically, in front of the Oregon Justice Center — which houses the sheriff’s office and a Portland police precinct — so we were surrounded by all these institutions that represent the rule of law.

“And yet, what happened was complete anarchy and lawlessness.”

The journalist said Portland police did not immediately come to his aid, adding he later watched video of nearly a dozen people pummeling him in the street and dousing him with unknown substances.

“Before I could realize what was happening and remove myself from the situation, the punches and kicks kept coming from every direction,” he said.

“When it was happening I didn’t know how many people were hitting me. It felt like I couldn’t tell if it was five or ten or 20.

“They continued to hit me and they threw what I think were milkshakes and eggs and possibly pepper spray all over me.”

Ngo said just before he was attacked, the demonstrators were chanting a phrase he found ironic.

“No hate, no fear,” he recalled.

When the police failed to appear, Ngo said he continued to try to break away from the melee.

PORTLAND MAYOR SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED BY FEDS OVER ANTIFA ATTACK ON CONSERVATIVE WRITER, SEN. CRUZ SAYS

When the journalist finally reached an area near the Multnomah County courthouse, he said he was told to head back toward where he was attacked.

“In order to get help, I had to walk back in the direction of protesters,” he said.

In the aftermath, Portland police released a statement about the protest.

“During today’s events, there were multiple assaults reported, as well as projectiles thrown at demonstrators and officers,” the statement read.

“There were also reports of pepper spray and bear spray being used by people in the crowd. Officers deployed pepper spray during the incident. There were reports of individuals throwing ‘milkshakes’ with a substance mixed in that was similar to a quick-drying cement. One subject was arrested for throwing a substance during the incident.”

In the wake of the alleged attack on Ngo, one Republican lawmaker has called for an investigation of city officials.

Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler should be investigated by federal law enforcement officials following his handling of the protests, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said Sunday.

“To federal law enforcement: investigate & bring legal action against a mayor who has, for political reasons, ordered his police officers to let citizens be attacked by domestic terrorists,” Cruz tweeted alongside a story recapping the incident surrounding Ngo.

Former UN ambassador: Trump ‘legitimizing Kim Jong Un’ despite North Korea doing ‘nothing on denuclearization’

A former U.N. ambassador said he fears President Trump is rewarding Kim Jong Un, despite the fact he has “done nothing on denuclearization.”

During an appearance on “America’s Newsroom” Monday, Governor Bill Richardson told Bill Hemmer: “my worry is that we are legitimizing Kim Jong Un.”

“We’ve given [Kim] three freebies in summits and he’s done nothing on denuclearization,” Richardson said.

“He has 60 nuclear weapons. He has missiles. And, he’s probably laughing all the way to the bank. Now, the president did get a political win here. You know, you’ve got to give him a day for showmanship.

TUCKER CARLSON SAYS TRUMP ‘DOMINATED’ KIM AS ‘WHEEZING’ NORTH KOREAN DICTATOR STRUGGLED

“But, I think the next step is important. Can we reach a compromise where we back off of saying no sanctions relief and North Korea does something significant on denuclearization and missiles?”

The comments came after Trump made history on Sunday by becoming the first United States sitting president to step foot in North Korea.

This historic moment took place after the president fired off a tweet to North Korean Dictator Chairman Kim Jong Un, saying he would “meet him at the Border/DMZ (De-Militarized Zone) just to shake his hand and say Hello(?)!”

The president was in South Korea with President Moon Jae-in during the G-20 Summit this weekend. He had long planned a visit to the DMZ; a scheduled trip was canceled by fog in 2017.

According to the president, North Korea quickly responded and expressed interest in the invitation. U.S. and North Korean officials spent much of Saturday evening and early Sunday trying to leap over logistical hurdles.

“I never expected to meet you at this place,” Kim said as they shook hands across the concrete slab marking the Military Demarcation Line between North and South.

The president spent about 80 minutes with Kim during his three-hour stop at the DMZ. After the photo-op, the leaders then moved to the Freedom House on the southern side of Panmunjom, where they made brief remarks to reporters and then met for approximately 50 minutes.

On Monday, North Korean state-run media reported that the two leaders agreed to push forward dialogue for making a new breakthrough in the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. They called the impromptu meeting an “amazing event.”

TRUMP, KIM MEET AT DMZ IN HISTORIC EVENT

“The top leaders of the two countries agreed to keep in close touch in the future, too, and resume and push forward productive dialogues for making a new breakthrough in the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula and in the bilateral relations,” KCNA news agency said.

During the bilateral news conference with Kim, the president told reporters: “I really think that if you go back two-and-a-half years and you look at what was going on prior to my becoming president it was a very, very, bad situation a very dangerous situation for South Korea, for North Korea, for the world…And, I think the relationship that we’ve developed has been so much to so many people.”

On “America’s Newsroom,” Richardson told Hemmer he hopes Trump can make more progress with the North Korean leader, but urged America still needs to keep an eye on the country.

“I’m an American,” Richardson said. “I want to see progress. I’ve worked on this issue for many years. Negotiating from the bottom to the top hasn’t worked. Now, we haven’t gotten any deal with North Korea now except the lessening of tensions.

“So, you’ve got to watch them; you can’t just give them what they want, and they’ve gotten three summits right now.”

New York Times op-ed writer calls for public shaming of US Border Patrol agents

A human rights professor called for the identities of U.S. Border Patrol agents to be made public so they can be “shamed” for the mistreatment of migrants, saying a “mass atrocity” may be taking place.

Kate Cronin-Furman, an assistant professor of human rights at University College London, wrote in the New York Times over the weekend that Border Patrol and other federal agents must be pressured into ending their participation.

“The identities of the individual Customs and Border Protection agents who are physically separating children from their families and staffing the detention centers are not undiscoverable,” she wrote.

“Immigration lawyers have agent names; journalists reporting at the border have names, photos and even videos. These agents’ actions should be publicized, particularly in their home communities.”

DEMS RUN LEFT ON IMMIGRATION: DEBATE FEATURES VOWS OF HEALTH CARE FOR UNDOCUMENTED, DEPORTATION CURBS

NEW LEADERS INSTALLED AT TOP IMMIGRATION AGENCIES AMID QUESTIONS OVER DHS SECRETARY’S FUTURE

Cronin-Furman claimed she was not making “an argument for doxxing” but wants to see an effort to expose the “midlevel functionaries who make the system run.”

“The knowledge, for instance, that when you go to church on Sunday, your entire congregation will have seen you on TV ripping a child out of her father’s arms is a serious social cost to bear. The desire to avoid this kind of social shame may be enough to persuade some agents to quit and may hinder the recruitment of replacements,” she argued.

“For someone who is “just following orders,” the prospect of being internationally shamed as a rights abuser and being unable to travel freely may be significant enough to persuade them to stop participating.”

On Friday, the acting head of the Department of Homeland Security said that he expects the number of migrants apprehended at the border will be lower by up to 25 percent in June than in previous months after Mexico increased its enforcement measures.

The U.S. and Mexico reached an agreement this month on a deal that sees Mexico take “unprecedented steps to increase enforcement to curb irregular migration” in exchange for the U.S. dropping proposed sanctions on Mexican imports.

The House and Senate approved bills last week to provide crucial funding to better deal with the influx of migrants at U.S. border facilities.

Tucker Carlson says Trump ‘dominated’ Kim as ‘wheezing’ North Korean dictator struggled

Fox News host Tucker Carlson witnessed the historic meeting between President Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un at the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) on Sunday, and shared his thoughts on “Fox & Friends.”

Carlson said Kim was “wheezing” in an unhealthy manner and sounded like an “emphysema” patient, whose health was rapidly deteriorating.

“Our president met with the North Korean leader, basically, with relatively few people watching. They kind of almost, like a movie scene, met after walking toward one another — actually to the border. They shook hands … then both of them came back and kind of stood there, about three feet away from us and talked,” he said.

“Kim struck me — he’s a hard character. there’s no question about that — maybe a little off his game,” Carlson continued. “I don’t think he’s surrounded by people he doesn’t control very often – wheezing like an emphysema patient, not a healthy guy. But, basically, he struck me as kind of self-contained. Trump was about as happy as I’ve ever seen him because it really is something that hasn’t been done before — and probably would not have been done without him and his very different style of governing and thinking.”

TRUMP PROMISES NOT TO USE KIM JONG UN’S FAMILY MEMBERS AS INTEL ASSETS

Carlson, who said the DMZ felt like “the end of the earth,” continued to describe Kim’s apparent poor health and labored breathing.

“It really felt like we were at the end of the earth, the middle of nowhere, with kind of not many people around, standing in the middle of the street. It was very odd. And, I mean, right next to Kim. I mean could have touched him, that close,” he said.

“And, he was breathing like an emphysema patient. I’m not saying that to be insulting but he was breathing in a labored way like he was out of breath. And even allowing for the historic nature of it, which I’m sure played a role in his breathlessness, but my take as a non-physician was — this is a very unhealthy guy. I mean, maybe I’m wrong… but that was the first thing I thought. This guy was in very bad health.”

TRUMP OFFERS TO MEET KIM JONG UN AT NORTH KOREAN BORDER

Carlson also said he believed Trump has been genuine in his relationship with Kim and claimed the president “dominated” and “towered over” the rogue state leader.

“I think it’s heartfelt and he’s not an admirer of the atrocities [Kim’s] committed obviously, but Trump thinks he’s a competent scrappy guy … and it can’t be easy to hold on to third generational power in a country like that where the ruling class is filled with 80-year-old generals … it takes a pretty hard man to keep a hold on power in a place like North Korea, so I think Trump respects his toughness,” he said.

“My sense … just standing there for an hour watching — I think he was probably a little bit overwhelmed by Trump who towers over him and who is a very large man,” Carlson added. “He seemed to kind of dominate him and there was a kind of magnetism and real aggression to Trump, so it didn’t feel exactly like peers. It felt like maybe an older brother-younger brother kind of situation.”

Carlson said it’s impossible to defend North Korea’s horrible track record on human rights and called it a “disgusting place,” but also offered the realist flip-side of the coin.

“There’s no defending the North Korean regime, which is a monstrous regime. It’s the last really Stalinist regime in the world. It’s a disgusting place, obviously, and so there’s no defending it,” he said.

“On the other hand, you’ve got to be honest about what it means to lead a country, it means killing people. Not on the scale that the North Koreans do, but a lot of countries commit atrocities including a number that we’re closely allied with.”

“You know, I’m not a relativist or anything, but it’s important to be honest about that,” Carlson added.

“And, it’s not necessarily a choice between the evil people and the great people. It’s a choice most of the time between the bad people and the worse people. That’s just kind of the nature of life, and certainly the nature of power, and I do think that’s how the president sees it. He’s far less sentimental about this stuff and maybe, I think, more realistic about it.”

Carlson’s one-on-one interview with the president is set to air Monday night at 8 p.m. ET on the Fox News Channel.

Mark Levin: 2020 Dems’ policies will ‘destroy’ key aspects of American society

Democratic presidential candidates‘ policy platforms will run the nation deeper into debt and transform American society, according to Mark Levin.

Americans must unite against the candidates’ agendas to prevent “socialism” and retain “Americanism,” Levin claimed Sunday on “Life, Liberty & Levin.”

“They have plans that will do nothing but destroy this society,” he said.

“We never talk about liberty anymore or individualism anymore or success or true free market capitalism. Look around you look at all the wealth that we have. You go to a grocery store there’s everything you want in a grocery store look around your home.

MARK LEVIN: MAINSTREAM MEDIA ‘ABANDONED THE PURSUIT OF OBJECTIVITY’

“Why would we destroy such a society? It’s time to take on the left. Time to take on the Democrat leadership. It’s time to take on socialism with Americanism … We never talk about liberty anymore, or individualism anymore, or success.”

He mentioned several proposals including wealth taxes, Medicare-for-all, paid family leave and student debt forgiveness.

Levin claimed the Soviet Union’s 1936 Constitution inspired or mirrors such initiatives, which he said were heralded by two candidates in particular.

MARK LEVIN: PRESIDENT TRUMP ‘THE MOST ABUSED PRESIDENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY’

“Article 118: Citizens of the U.S.S.R. have the right to work, that is, are guaranteed the right to employment and payment for their work in accordance with its quantity and quality,” he said.

“Article 119: Citizens of the U.S.S.R. have the right to rest and leisure … the institution of annual vacations with full pay for workers and employees and the provision of a wide network of sanatoria, rest homes and clubs for the accommodation of the working people — Sounds just like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.”

The conservative radio host continued, arguing some Democrats, “embrace not the American dream, but the Soviet dream.”

“Why is it that we don’t have serious, substantive discussions about what they’re proposing and how they’re going to be paid for?” he asked.

The “Unfreedom of the Press” author said he believed such policies will make the nation’s debt problems even worse.

“We have a crushing debt,” he said.

“We have a fiscal operating debt of $22 trillion. Our economy produces slightly over $18 trillion in goods and services every year. That’s enormous.”

Eric Trump says “it’s a joke” that Democrats want to give free health care and other benefits to illegal immigrants and predicted the platform will “backfire” on the 2020 presidential candidates.

The son of President Trump made the remarks Saturday during an appearance on Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine.”

“When they’re talking about giving illegal immigrants, people who came to this country illegally, paying for everything for everybody, not having any real proposals on how it’s actually going to get paid for, how it’s going to get funded, they’re not taking care of the citizens of their own country,” Trump told host Jeanine Pirro.

“When they’re talking about … paying for everything for everybody, … they’re not taking care of the citizens of their own country.”

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS SHOULD GET HEALTH CARE, SAY DEMS IN NIGHT 2 DEBATE

“That’s a real problem and I think it’s going to backfire on them,” he added.

Trump’s comments came in response to the first Democratic debates that took place Wednesday and Thursday nights in Miami, where numerous candidates said they would provide health care benefits to illegal immigrants as well as all American citizens if elected president in 2020.

Each debate featured a different group of 10 candidates. On Thursday, all 10 candidates pledged they would give health care benefits to illegal immigrants.

“This is not about a handout,” Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Ind., insisted. “This is an insurance program. We do ourselves no favors by having 11 million undocumented people in our country be unable to access health care.

“The real problem is we shouldn’t have 11 million undocumented people with no pathway to citizenship,” he continued. “It makes no sense. The American people agree on what to do. This is a crazy thing. If leadership consists of forming a consensus around a divisive issue, this White House divided us around a consensus issue. The American people want a pathway to citizenship and protections for Dreamers.”

But on Saturday, Eric Trump told Judge Jeanine that American citizens were justified in putting their own needs ahead of those of migrants.

“The reality is you have people in this country that need help,” Trump said. “You also have health care costs in this country which have gone up because ObamaCare is absolutely a disaster.

“You can take that money, you can allocate it in a different way, but for them to come out and say, ‘Listen, we’re going to give this free to this person, we’re going to give this free, we’re going to let everybody get driver’s licenses …

Bill de Blasio in this state alone,” Trump continued, referring to the New York City mayor who is also a presidential candidate, “wants to have every person have — every illegal immigrant [to] have — a driver’s license. Do they now get to vote?”

Trump said Democrats are “pandering” to different demographic groups and bashed Beto O’Rourke, the former congressman from Texas, for speaking in Spanish in his opening remarks at Wednesday’s debate.

The president’s son — who serves as an executive vice president of the Trump Organization, also spoke about an incident Tuesday where a waitress at a Chicago restaurant where he was dining allegedly spat on him.

Trump condemned the woman’s actions as “a heinous act” but said, “I don’t think it’s reflective of parties.”

He said he decided not to press charges despite the support of the city’s mayor to do so, and said instead he opted to take “the high road.”

Kate McKinnon of ‘SNL’ debuts Marianne Williamson impression after debate

Saturday Night Live” cast member Kate McKinnon debuted her Marianne Williamson impression Thursday night after the self-help author’s viral debate performance in Miami.

“Marianne Williamson was very anti-plan,” “Late Night” host Seth Meyers said to McKinnon of the candidate. “Marianne was the one where you thought, like, ‘Oh, she might not make it to the fall. The window for Marianne Williamson impressions might be closing fast,” he added to laughter from the audience.

McKinnon then pulled out her new impression of the candidate that she said she had been practicing while watching the debate.

“My plan is to gather all the sage in America and burn it,” McKinnon said as Williamson. “My plan is to harness the energy of babies to finally put a man on the moon.”

“I said to the president of New Zealand, ‘Girlfriend, you are so on,’ and I would say to Donald Trump, ‘Boyfriend, you chill.’”

In her closing statement of Thursday night’s Democratic debate, Williamson said her first call as president would be to the prime minister of New Zealand who, according to Williamson, has made it her goal for the country to be the best place to raise children.

“I will tell her, ‘Girlfriend, you are so on,’” Williamson said. “‘Because the United States of America is going to be the best place in the world for a child to grow up.’”

Trump 2020 press secretary: Alyssa Milano ‘doesn’t matter’

Trump 2020 national press secretary Kayleigh McEnany lashed out at actress and activist Alyssa Milano on Friday, saying that everyday women “tune out” the Trump critic and that Hollywood’s opinions on political issues are irrelevant.

“Hollywood doesn’t matter. In fact, if anything it’s a curse for a candidate because everyday hardworking men and women look and say, ‘Alyssa Milano is going to tell me what to do?’,” McEnany said on “Hannity.”

“This is the woman who said that women should have a sex strike because of a fetal heartbeat bill that says you keep a living baby with a heartbeat alive,” McEnany continued. “And because of that bill women everywhere should have a sex strike.”

McEnany added that Milano “doesn’t matter” and begged the actress to support the eventual Democratic nominee.

“Everyday women tune her out. She doesn’t matter. Nor does Hollywood. They are a joke. Please endorse the Democratic nominee as I’m sure they will,” McEnany said.

The press secretary for the Trump campaign also weighed in on the Democratic presidential candidates’ support of abortion rights — in particular late-term abortion. She asserted that the Democrats were out of step with Americans.

“This motivates the Republican base immensely,” she said. “But more than that, it motivates 85 percent of Americans. When you look at who supports abortion until birth — which was passed in New York and celebrated with a sick standing ovation in the New York Senate chamber and they lit One World Trade pink in celebration.

“When you look who supports this insane measure to kill a fully viable baby, it’s about 15 percent or less. So they are motivating 85 percent of the American people when they do things like 19 times blocking a vote in the House for a keep-alive bill, keeping a baby alive outside the womb.”

Dennis Kucinich says Harris-Biden exchange bad for Democrats: ‘You divide, Trump conquers’

The decision by Sen. Kamala Harris to attack former Vice President Joe Biden over school busing during Thursday’s Democratic Party debate could hurt the party heading into 2020, according to Dennis Kucinich.

“Joe Biden’s record is fair game,” the two-time Democratic presidential candidate said Friday on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle.” “But if you divide Democrats on race, you lose.”

“You divide and Trump conquers,” added Kucinich, 72, a former mayor of Cleveland who later served in the U.S. House from 1997 to 2013.

“If you want African-Americans to vote, have a plan — address racial disparity, wealth, wages, health. Talk about working-poor families. Look at the crime and the murder rate in black communities and how people are treated by the police. These are issues that will motivate people.

“But if you just use it on race in kind of a personal attack, Democrats are going to lose.”

Kucinich said he believed, however, that Biden remained a formidable candidate.

“He seems to have strong support in the black community,” he said. “I don’t think that will disintegrate.”

During the debate, Harris appeared to inflict serious damage on Biden after she pointed out that Biden’s work with segregationist senators had a human cost – including to her.

“I also believe — and it is personal — and it was actually very hurtful to hear you talk about the reputations of two United States senators who built their reputations and career on the segregation of race in this country,” she said.

“You worked with them to oppose busing,” Harris added, referring to efforts to limit orders for school desegregation by busing.

In an emotional moment, she told her own story of being bused as a young girl in California.
