There’s a pattern with New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. A natural event happens — it doesn’t matter much what kind of event it is — and her immediate reaction is to blame it on “climate change.” It’s a knee-jerk reaction that was, frankly, worn to death by climate alarmists before her like Al Gore and Bill Nye.

On Monday, AOC sent out a tweet blaming the wildfires ravaging parts of California right now on “climate change,” stating that this is what “climate change” looks like and even throwing in a hit on the un-scientific nature of the Republicans for good measure.

Naturally, it ended with a time frame for us to fix it and a promotion of the Green New Deal.

“This is what climate change looks like,” tweeted AOC. “The GOP like to mock scientific warnings about climate change as exaggeration. But just look around: it’s already starting. We have 10 years to cut carbon emissions in half. If we don’t, scenes like this can get much worse.”

The problem with this statement is that California wildfires aren’t anything new. In fact, Capital Public Radio has a visual timeline that shows just how wildfires have hit California dating back well before the 1950s. Like any natural disaster, wildfires are worse in some years than they are others.

This picture below shows an accumulated map of wildfires that date back to 1878 all the way up to 1950.

The idea that humans are causing wildfires due to their effect on the planet is incredibly shaky.

While many of AOC’s online group of trained seals applauded and cheered her blatant attempt at agenda promotion, much of the internet wasn’t having her scaremongering.

The point made here is pretty clear. Wildfires and California go hand in hand. They have them so frequently that it’s a wonder they don’t name their sports teams after it.

Regardless, AOC’s tweet has shown us that she’s willing to stand on the ashes of people’s homes and lives in order to paint the GOP with the blame as well as pushing her pet project, which is pretty disgusting in and of itself. Your life burning down in front of you matters little. It’s all a political prop to her.

Disgusting.

Figuring Out President Trump

Since he dipped his toe into the treacherous political waters in 2015, much has been written about President Trump’s modus operandi. As a neophyte politician, is he a charlatan, a fool, or one cagey SOB? Most points of view are generally dependent on the politics of the given prognosticator. Leftist Democrats believe that he has normalized bigotry and xenophobia in this country and has likely paved the way for race relations to deteriorate rather than progressing forward. Some of them believe that he is either a clueless incompetent beyond his depth or an evil genius.

Yet Trump’s opponents – in particular those in the legacy media – continue to hang on every his every word and are constantly being trolled by his public statements and especially his daily tweets on Twitter. It is really quite amazing to watch, is it not? Given that the likes of CNN, MSNBC, the NY Times, and Washington Post have destroyed their credibility with the American people due to fake news reporting, the only thing keeping them afloat in terms of viewership/readership is their 24×7 reporting on everything Trump!

All of Trump’s naysayers are from the political establishment along with their hangers-on in media, academia and Hollywood. They largely live in Blue states and never come into contact with Trump supporters in Red states; they inhabit the equivalent of a Leftist Cocoon into which reality and facts never seem to penetrate. Emotions motivate them, and they inherently value style over substance. How many times have we seen Democrats or media figures complain about the president’s supposed “unpresidential behavior” over the past couple of years? They are all so absolutely CERTAIN that there is only one correct way in which a sitting president must comport himself, and President Trump does not meet their expectations. That’s why they love their tin god Obama who was and is nothing but style and a light-weight with nothing of substance behind him. Fortunately, his legacy is blowing away like dust in the wind.

How best to explain President Trump, especially to those afflicted with seemingly incurable mass psychosis that is called Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)? Opinions vary, even among those of us on the Right. What follows are my personal opinions. First of all, unlike the views of those afflicted with TDS, my opinion is that our president is far smarter than his political adversaries! What do I mean? Allow me to explain with a personal anecdote.

I once had a French-speaking boss who was born in Quebec, Canada. A Vietnam vet, he sustained a gunshot wound behind an ear that affected his hearing. A PhD, he cultivated a belief based on his personal circumstances about which everyone in his immediate circle knew. He feigned difficulty in understanding English and coupled that pretension with impaired hearing, which he worked to his advantage in meetings. His “condition” was so well-known and cleverly developed that his reputation for these maladies preceded him. But here’s the deal: he could hear perfectly and could communicate verbally and in writing in English with the best of English speakers. His act resulted in people letting their guard down around him and disclosing things they otherwise wouldn’t.

Trump has his own shtick in this regard – not hard of hearing or feigning language difficulty – but rather a brusque and direct nature that greatly differs from the demeanor of a US president expected by the political class. In short, he is frequently viewed to be “not very presidential” by the Left and downright “dumb,” and the Democrats, legacy media, and NeverTrump Republicans can’t deal with that except to continually disparage him. It is impossible for them to ignore his direct public statements and tweets, and they react reflexively (and predictably) each and every time. They just can’t help themselves because they despise him so much – and this makes them completely susceptible to Trump’s misdirection.

President Trump has long been a disciple of Sun Tzu, the great Chinese general and philosopher who authored the seminal reference, “The Art of War.” President Trump wrote his own book, “The Art of Business,” patterned after Sun Tzu’s military strategies. I believe that he is also applying those same strategies to the modern political realm as he deals with his political opponents on a daily basis.

Let’s look at how Trump applies 10 of Sun Tzu’s principles in light of what we’ve learned about our president through close observation since 2015.

Principle #1 – Planning: Trump views his struggle as a war with the entrenched Deep State and their allies. He spent years studying the enemy camp and learning their weaknesses before developing his plan for the presidency. What are the elements of his plan? To use other Sun Tzu principles to let his enemies defeat themselves, including use of advantages, alliances, deception, use of spies, exploitation of strengths and weaknesses, energy, communication, and winning whole.

Principle #2 – Character: Sun is big on the virtues of wisdom, sincerity, benevolence, courage, and strictness in commanders. There is plenty of evidence of those in Trump! I like his benevolent side in particular, as well as his courage in his willingness to take it to the the Democrats and the media. A commander uses those virtues to properly command those around him. Trump is excellent in delegating authority to his sub-commanders (cabinet officers and various functionaries and spokesmen).

Principle #3 – Using advantages: Sun says that to become “thoroughly acquainted” with anything, and thus able to use the advantage of that knowledge, takes time, especially to get thoroughly acquainted with oneself. Without question, our president is comfortable in his own skin, as is readily seen in all of his public appearances, especially his campaign rallies around the country. He is a man of the people, and the people love him for it. And he’s spent decades studying “the enemy” and their weaknesses (e.g., hubris, false omniscience, narcissism, greed, envy, and personal foibles and sins). It’s a key advantage he has over the Democrats and media who underestimate him at every turn.

Principle #4 – Alliances: Sun says that no one has ever achieved anything of note without having alliances, and that knowing how to win is the first step while building alliances to get it done is the second step. With whom does Trump have strong alliances? I would argue that Trump has allied himself with a number of flag and general officers in the active duty and retired military who are intent on purging the corruption that is rampant in the Deep State, as well as his cabinet members, the Freedom Caucus in the House of Representatives, and others. All are working to Make America Great Again!

Principle #5 – Deception: Sun says that “all warfare is based on deception.” A corollary is the use of misdirection to deceive and confuse the enemy. And we all know that Trump is a master at using misdirection to keep Democrats and the legacy media off-balance! His opposition hasn’t stopped him from setting a record for appointments to the federal judiciary, or the passage of tax cuts, or the freeing up of the oil and gas industry, or the ending of the Obamacare individual mandate, or getting NATO allies to pay more, or working to reset trade practices with China, etc. That’s because the opposition is fixated on Trump’s misdirecting public statements and tweets – on his style versus his substance (policies and directives). I would argue that the real key to understanding Trump’s ongoing political strategy and modus operandi is his use of this most important Sun principle – Deception!

Principle #6 – Use of spies: Sun says that “to fight and win all battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellent consists in breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting.” Employing spycraft to understand the enemy’s plans and motivations is key to winning. A couple of names come to mind: ADM Rogers (the former head of NSA, the world’s elite communications monitoring org who made that important trip to Trump Tower in mid-November 2016). Two others: Mike Pompeo and Gina Haspel (reorganizing and repurposing the CIA, with Pompeo now leading Trump’s foreign policy team as Secretary of State). It would appear that leakers are also being outed as time goes by in the Senate, House, National Security Council, and State Department. That’s spycraft!

Principle #7 – Strengths and weaknesses: Sun said that good fighters “first put themselves beyond the possibility of defeat” and then wait for an opportunity to defeat the enemy – by waiting for that opportunity as provided by the enemy himself. President Trump plays rope-a-dope with the best of them. He gives off an air of weakness by not actively using the strength of his office to, for example, overtly direct Deep State firings, prosecutions, etc., of the cabal. He is patient in letting his enemies hang themselves. Which is exactly what the likes of Clapper, Comey, Brennan, McCabe, Strozk, Yates, and others are doing almost daily with their public railings about Trump’s supposed “treason,” abuse of power, Ukrainia quid pro quo, etc. Meanwhile, the indisputable evidence of their own perfidy continues to be exposed. He is letting them defeat themselves in the court of public opinion in preparation for the prosecutions to come – while building majority support among normal Americans for the indictments to come.

Principle #8 – Energy: Sun says that if you don’t know what to defend or what to attack, you will squander your energy. Our president has boundless energy and is constantly working on his MAGA agenda on but 4-5 hours of sleep per night. Amazing! He is putting his energy into advancing his agenda and using surrogates to hold his political opposition and the media at bay. Watch for more campaign rallies like Minneapolis and Dallas to energize his base (including Democrats!) going into 2020, too.

Principle #9 – Communications: Sun says that appropriate communication is the golden key to winning. Who could possibly argue that Trump is the greatest communicator in the Oval Office since Reagan (and I would argue even better!)? His twitter campaign is brilliant, as he is able to communicate instantaneously with his base whenever he chooses to do so. The Democrats and legacy media still haven’t figured it out yet; they always respond to everything he says. I pray they never will!

Principle #10 – Winning whole: Sun says that “the general who wins a battle makes many calculations in his temple ere the battle is fought. The general who loses a battle makes but few calculations beforehand. Thus, do many calculations lead to victory, and few calculations to defeat.” Now we can’t possibly know all of the calculations that Trump has made along the way, or the plans that are presently being executed on multiple fronts, but we can judge the results by his many successes since 20 January 2017. How many substantive losses has he truly sustained? The Obamacare repeal failed, but that was on the Senate (McCain in particular), not Trump. And I don’t believe he’s given up on that, so call that one a rain-check for now. Same with the Wall – which has been obstructed by the Uniparty, too. He used a declaration of national emergency on the border to fund the Wall out of national security spending in order to defeat the Democrats’ obstruction. It is being built, slowly but surely. And the economy is going gang-busters. Looks to me like President Trump owns that last Sun Tzu principle in spades: winning whole!

Conclusion: President Trump’s modus operandi involves adaptation of Sun Tzu’s 10 principles to the political battlespace of 21st century America. He is probably the greatest adherent to the tenets in Sun’s “The Art of War” in the modern era, and insights into his thinking can be elucidated by carefully observing his very successful actions on our collective behalf on a daily basis. The latest example was his appearance at the Astros-Nationals World Series Game last night. When he was shown on the big screen, the Deep State bureaucrats in attendance (DC is loaded with them!) booed him. Imagine what the rest of the normal country thought when the watched that unpatriotic spectacle? The Master Troller was at work again exposing that DC isn’t American at all – quite the opposite! The Left/Democrats, legacy media, and indeed virtually the entire political class remain clueless – which is great for the rest of us!

The end.

ISIS Issues Statement About al-Baghdadi’s Death

After it was announced that the United States military had killed the founder and leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, its supporters issued a statement that essentially equated to shrugging off their leader’s death.

According to the Washington Examiner, Middle East Media Research Institute, a terrorism monitoring group, found the statement on various social media outlets where the terrorist group was free to post. In it, ISIS noted that their ideology and quest doesn’t come at the behest of one man, but a creed shared by many:

“Even if it is true, this is the main reason all of the jihad fighters set out for — martyrdom. The Messenger of Allah, may the blessing of Allah be upon him — died,” said a prominent media operative in the pro-ISIS online community. “The jihad will not stop when a certain person dies, even if he was the caliph himself.”

“Al-Baghdadi although influential is but one person, the term Caliphate that ISIS promotes is not a temporary idea whereby if one person dies the whole term or ideology ends,” said another posting on a pro-ISIS Telegram channel. “Al-Baghdadi is not the first Jihadi leader to be killed if the news is verified, before him influential figures such as Bin Laden, Al-Zarqawi, Abu Omar Al-Baghdadi, Al-Muhajir, Al-Adnani, Al-Shishani were all killed, it didn’t stop anything neither it changed the situation in the ground.”

“What the impure Crusaders do not understand with regard to the Muslims’ creed, especially that of the jihad fighters, is that jihad in its entirety is not founded on men, but on creed,” said another post. “The Islamic State shall remain, it shall disturb the lives of the infidels and punish the apostates.

Aside from the announcement that al-Baghdadi was killed by detonating an explosive vest as U.S. troops moved in, President Donald Trump had a message for ISIS of his own, namely in telling them how their leader died.

“He died like a dog, he died like a coward. He was whimpering, screaming and crying,” Trump said. “And frankly, I think it’s something that should be brought out, so that his followers and all of these young kids that want to leave various countries, including the United States, they should see how he died.”

Trump told the press that he and his staff are considering releasing the video of the raid against the ISIS leader, and perhaps we can see this for ourselves this weekend.

You’d think everyone would have been elated at the news, but the national media and Democrats including Obama loyalists and former Obama officials were some of the saddest, angriest people in the aftermath of the news of the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi over the weekend.

After the news broke, the mainstream media wasted no time in latching on to a Democratic talking point about how Trump had informed Russia about the raid in advance but not Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

NBC News’ Chuck Todd was just one of many journos who saw something sinister behind Trump’s decision to notify Russia in advance of the raid and “thank Russia first” afterwards, and he let National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien know it on Sunday’s “Meet the Press”:

CHUCK TODD: The president said that there were a number of folks that helped. He thanked Russia first. He thanked the Kurds last. Should we read into that?

ROBERT O’BRIEN: No I don’t think you should read into that. I think what the president talked about is that it was a very dangerous mission for our troops. And the president made a courageous decision to send them far into enemy territory at night, a long range helicopter raid. It was a courageous decision of the president. But it was incredible bravery and skill of our men and women in the armed forces and the intelligence community that executed the mission flawlessly. But they had to fly over areas where there was significant anti-aircraft capability, the Syrians, the Russians, the Turks, others. So I think we appreciated the fact that our helicopters and our planes weren’t molested. The Kurds played an important role in the operation. And we’re grateful for the Kurds and for the SDF and our allies there.

When Todd again pressed O’Brien on the Russia angle, the NSA adviser patiently explained again why Russia played a crucial role and deserved thanks, even though they were not an ally of the United States:

CHUCK TODD: On a policy front, Russia. Are they an ally of the United States in this fight in ISIS? And are they an adversary of the United States in this situation with Ukraine? How would you describe it?

ROBERT O’BRIEN: Well, let me just make it very clear, Russia is not an ally of the United States. The president doesn’t believe that. I don’t believe that. I think there’s anyone —

CHUCK TODD: First country he thanked today.

ROBERT O’BRIEN: Look, there are times when our interests overlaps with the interests of Russia. Last night it overlapped. We didn’t want Russian air defense missiles being shot at our men and women who were executing this raid. And, and so last night — and they don’t like ISIS, as the president pointed out. Last night, our interests overlapped with Russia. When our interests overlap with Russia, there’s no reason we shouldn’t work with them. Russia is not an ally of the United States and look Russia presents a great danger to the United States. And something we keep an eye on every single day.

Watch O’Brien calmly teach Foreign Policy 101 to Todd below:

And to be perfectly clear, per Trump Russia was not notified of the specific mission:

“We spoke to the Russians. We told them we are coming in. They said, ‘Thank you for telling us,’” he said. “We told them we thought they would be happy. They hate ISIS as much as we do. You know what ISIS has done to Russia. They did not know the mission but they knew we were going over an area where they had a lot of firepower.”

In spite of the LSM and Democratic concern trolling about what Russia knew vs. what Pelosi and Schumer knew, it was just a great weekend all around for the dedicated men and women of the U.S. military. Job well done, y’all.

President Donald Trump has some good news for people who love watching terrorists get what they deserve.

According to The Hill, Trump said that you may be able to view the video of the raid that claimed the life of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the founder and leader of ISIS, this weekend:

“We’re thinking about it. We may,” Trump told reporters Monday when asked about the prospect of releasing the footage at Andrews Air Force Base. “We may take certain parts of it and release it, yes.”

Trump described the raid in northwest Syria in great detail when announcing al-Baghdadi’s death in an address on Sunday morning. Trump said he watched much of the raid in the Situation Room, likening it to “watching a movie.”

“We had a great weekend for our country. We captured a man that should have been caught a long time ago,” Trump told reporters Monday before departing for a speech in Chicago.

“It was an amazing display of intelligence and military power and coordination, getting along with people,” Trump continued.

According to Trump, the terrorist leader died screaming and whimpering, detonating an explosive vest killing himself and his children. Later tests confirmed that the body was, in fact, al Baghdadi.

As my colleague, Nick Arama, reported, not only did the U.S. troops get the ISIS leader, they also got his spokesman, Abu al-Hassan al-Muhajir. Needless to say, it’s been a day of ISIS scalp gathering, with now its head and its mouth taken out in the course of a day.

According to the Washington Examiner, ISIS issues a defiant statement after the death of their leader:

Media and “Experts” Wonder Whether Killing Al-Baghdadi Actually Helps ISIS

Westlake Legal Group animals-3901900_1280-620x465 Media and “Experts” Wonder Whether Killing Al-Baghdadi Actually Helps ISIS Politics Front Page Stories Front Page Featured Story democrats Allow Media Exception

The machinations of the mainstream media since the successful killing of ISIS caliph Al-Baghdadi have been something to behold.

My colleague Nick Arama shared some initial reactions in a piece yesterday morning. I think reported on CNBC’s John Harwood, who was essentially losing his mind trying to hand wave away the operation as anything positive. It’s something to behold.

Of course, the next logical evolution was a bunch of “experts,” who’ve managed to get just about everything wrong in the last two decades, to tell us how killing the terror leader is actually a bad thing.

Yeah, I’m sure having their leader be hunted down and blown up is a real green light for recruitment. This is the kind of nonsensical tripe that passes as “expert” thought in the beltway and that has led to so much frustration about foreign policy among normal Americans.

And here’s Obama’s Ambassador to Qatar with a galaxy brain take.

Because otherwise, terrorists would have laid down their arms or something. I mean, if a guy is about to go behead someone, clearly giving his terrorist leader a proper burial is going to sway him to take up knitting.

Compound this kind of laughable analysis with the results of the foreign policy people like Shell Smith helped push and you begin to see why things have been such a mess post 9/11. People sitting in classrooms and think tanks coming up with military strategies is a recipe for disaster. It’s how you got people like Max Boot at the forefront of disasters.

Then there was the media’s reaction. Here’s CNN’s Jake Tapper, unbiased journalist extraordinaire, pondering whether we are helping ISIS by killing Al-Baghdadi.

“Lastly, what do you make of the president’s — he painted a very vivid picture of al Baghdadi dying a very cowardly death, which I don’t doubt for a second, ISIS fighters are very cowardly,” Tapper began. “He talked about al-Baghdadi detonating his vest, killing his three children while he did so. I don’t doubt it, they’re monsters, but is there any concern on your part because now there is a question what ISIS will do in response to this move, in response perhaps to the president’s rhetoric. Does that concern you at all in terms of galvanizing or motivating ISIS terrorists?”

What a brilliant question from the intrepid reporter.

It’s also completely dumb. Al-Baghdadi was the caliph. He was the “authority” holding the caliphate together. Not just any Muslim can be that, as there has to be some kind of claimed lineage from previous caliphs. Killing him undeniably hurts ISIS and in noway results in some kind of positive recruitment tool. That doesn’t mean their ideology or all isolated attacks go away, but as a caliphate, ISIS is officially dead.

There’s also the fact that our cooperation with Syria and Turkey here further forms a bulwark against a possible resurgence. ISIS is in a land with no allies and there is little pathway to resurgence.

It would have been really simple for our foreign policy establishment and media to admit these facts. Instead, for purely political reasons, they’ve got to try to spin this as a loss or at least muddy the waters. It’s pathetic.

This is going to be a fun week.

With only 8 days left until ELECTION 2019 occurs, I am continuing my expose into some of the ridiculous things that are going on in politics. You might think I’m talking national but this is all local.

Here are my previous offerings…

Covering the Local Angle. What Is Happening in Fraser, Michigan.

Today I am following up on a previous article I posted about the sexual harassment lawsuit that was just settled last month here in the city of Fraser. Three women ( Leah Brown, Kelly Doland, and Michelle Kwiatkowski) sued the city in the case of Leah Brown v. City of Fraser in the county of Macomb in the State of Michigan.

A brief summary of the case is this…

Two elected officials, Joe Nichols who was Mayor and Councilman Matt Hemelberg were removed from office for unwelcome sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment with these three ladies. Others also reported similar complaints but did not want to participate in the tribunal that was held by the council to see if their conduct warranted removal.

The council did decide to remove Nichols and Hemelberg in September of 2017. Both men appealed the decision before a circuit court and the Michigan Court of Appeals but ultimately lost. The local county paper covered the C.O.A. decision below.

From The Macomb Daily

In a 15-page opinion Tuesday, the appellate court said Nichols through his attorneys showed no legal basis that the tribunal hearing – a procedure established by the Fraser City Charter for the council to consider removal of one of their own – was improper, or that Caretti abused his discretion in rejecting Nichols’ request that the judge authorize superintending control to put Nichols back in office.

“In this case, the cause for removal was misconduct in office; specifically, Nichols’ sexual harassment of city employees in his official capacity as the mayor,” the appeals judges wrote. “Because we concluded … that there was sufficient evidence for the City Council to find that Nichols’ unwelcome sexual conduct and communication created a hostile work environment, it follows that the record of the hearing contained substantial evidence to support the removal decision. In other words, the City Council members could conclude from the evidence that the charge of misconduct in office was sufficiently established, warranting a vote to remove Nichols from office.”

The ladies eventually sued the city for the hostile workplace and just settled a couple of weeks before this was supposed to go to trial for a total of $85,000 dollars apiece. Listed below are the documents from the court confirming the settlement and the amount.

( Note: The last page with Michelle Kwiatkowski I did not receive the signed copy in the FOIA request but she has confirmed she did agree to the settlement)

All three ladies settled for $85,000 each which comes to $255,000 dollars. Add in the deductibles for insurance and other miscellaneous add ons and you are close to a $300,000 to close an ugly chapter in this city’s history.

Yet as the late great Billy Mays used to say “But Wait, There’s More”!

The ladies all reported the harassment by Nichols and Hemelberg to the city manager who at the time was a fella by the name of Richard Haberman. You would think that any person who was in charge of the city would be making sure the work environment was safe and non-threatening. That any leader would have wanted to protect the female employees from this type of behavior.

Yet, according to the depositions, Haberman failed badly.

Adding tons of salt to the wound of this debacle is the fact that Haberman is now running for council being he wants to help fix the overall mess he left as city manager.

What a peach.

Here are just some snippets from the depositions from the ladies in the case.

Kelly Doland who is the city clerk for Fraser said this on page 80 of her deposition…

Q. When you raised the issue of the alleged harassment at the dept head meeting, was there any response by Mr. Haberman?

A. Yes

Q. What did he say?

A. He said, I would advise you to get an attorney.

Q. Was that his sole response?

A. That’s’ the best I can recall.

I also have confirmed with others in that meeting that Haberman was told of the harassment and he did say to get a lawyer.

Michelle Kwiatkowski, who is the Systems Administrator/ IT director for the city of Fraser said this from page 42 of her deposition…

Q. Did you make anybody aware that you thought this was inappropriate and hostile in 2015?

A. Mr. Haberman.

Q. What did you tell Mr. Haberman specifically in 2015 as it related to Mr. Nichols?

A. At that time we were still going back and forth because they wanted access to public safety. I told them there was no way they were getting access to public safety. He told me that– I specifically said– especially the way they come in and the way they treat women, there is no way they’re going over to public safety. I won’t sign off on it. I had to sign off on it in order to meet the LEIN requirements. he said he would talk to them about not coming in so much and he never did.

Both ladies indicate they went to Haberman to inform him of the harassment. In the case of Kelly Doland, he told her to “get a lawyer” which the women ultimately did and it has now set the city back almost 300k. Haberman’s inaction also forced the council to hold a tribunal to remove two members.

Pretty embarrassing stuff.

I have been interviewing those running for council and the only one to not respond to me has been Haberman. I happened to catch him at the local V.F.W. hall on Wednesday, October 23 to ask him about this settlement and a couple of other questions.  He was not pleased to see me being I was doing a facebook live feed. He tried to knock the phone out of my hand and proceeded to run into a bar where only V.F.W members are allowed.

As you can see he was not happy with me and his girlfriend was even more displeased and had some choice words for me that I shall not repeat here on the family-friendly pages of Red State.

The whole point of this sad story is that it is critical you do some homework with ANY candidates that are running to represent you.

In the city of Fraser, the former city manager is running for office to represent the city he once left in a mess. The city removed two people who were harassing employees and he could have prevented all of it but he looked the other way instead of doing his job and he now won’t discuss this.

I’m sure all across the United States there are similar cases like this in every town. You need to become informed and help weed these people out before they can influence public policy.

Otherwise, we all lose.

Anti-Trumper Chris Wallace Presses Mike Pence: ‘Why Didn’t the President Tell Nancy Pelosi’ About Raid?’

Fox News’ host Chris Wallace, who no longer bothers to hide his hatred for President Trump, interviewed Vice President Mike Pence on Sunday about the raid that killed ISIS leader Abu Bekr al-Baghdadi.

“The president was asked specifically whether he had informed the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi about this raid last night, and he said no, and then he added ‘I wanted to make sure that no American forces were lost.’ The implication seeming to be that he was worried that Pelosi or members of Congress would leak this. Does the president not trust the Speaker of the House with sensitive national security information?” asked Wallace.

Pence refused to go there. He told Wallace, “I don’t think that was the implication at all. I think from the time that we got actionable intelligence, the President’s total focus here was on a successful mission and the safety of American troops.”

Wallace asked the question again, “Why didn’t he tell Nancy Pelosi?”

Pence answered, “We maintain the tightest possible security here and when we got the confirmation on Saturday that al-Baghdadi was on site and our troops began to move into the region, as the President said, our aircraft were moving over some very potentially hostile areas. We wanted them to be able to get in and get out, it’s a dangerous mission on the ground. They went with the resolve and the determination (inaudible) to bring al-Baghdadi to justice but they also went with our prayers and I just couldn’t be more proud. When they were wheels up out of country, no American casualties and al-Baghdadi is dead.”

Wallace pressed further, “We all applaud that. I do want to ask you, it is my job as a newsman sir, respectfully, why didn’t the President notify the Speaker of the House?”

Again, Pence dodged the question saying, “I just want to emphasize the president’s focus here throughout particularly the last several days was on the mission to bring a man who was the most wanted man in the world, a man who had brought unspeakable violence through the ISIS caliphate, who was exporting violence throughout the world to justice and that combined with ensuring the safety of our forces coming in, executing the mission and moving out was the president’s directive throughout this effort and I know it animated every decision that he made along the way.”

Actually, Mike, the President could not have been more clear. When a reporter asked President Trump if he “had notified the congressional leaders about this? Pelosi, Schiff, Mitch McConnell?,” he replied:

We notified some. Others are being notified now as I speak. We were going to notify them last night but we decided not to do that because Washington leaks like I’ve never seen before. There’s no country in the world that leaks like we do. And Washington is a leaking machine. And I told my people we will not notify them until our great people are out, not just in, but out. I don’t want to have them greeted with firepower like you wouldn’t believe. So, we were able to get in. It was top secret…

A leak could have cost the deaths of all of them.

At another point, Trump answered, “No, I didn’t. I didn’t do that. I wanted to make sure this kept secret. I don’t want to have men lost, and women. I don’t want to have people lost.”

Although the Vice President is far too diplomatic to say it, no Chris, the President does not trust the Speaker of the House with sensitive national security information? Or any information. For three years, Pelosi and other House Democratic leaders have been gunning for Trump. After winning back the House majority during the midterms, removing the President from office has been their number one priority.

Back in December, Pelosi began rewriting the relevant House rules which would ease the way to impeachment for the 116th Congress. Even before returning to Washington in January, committee Chairmen were mapping out their strategies and planning their investigations to find a crime with which to destroy Trump.

The President is not imagining they are out to get them.

Although Democrats had no choice but to try to act as if they were pleased that the most wanted terrorist had been killed, or risk the appearance of being un-American.

But they weren’t pleased at all because it gave Donald Trump another win, a very major one, to add to his growing list of achievements.

Yesterday, I addressed this question in a post. I truly believe that Pelosi would have preferred seeing the special forces troops lose their lives in a spectacular debacle than to see him take a victory lap. Yes, although Pence refused to admit it, Trump’s distrust of the Democrats was precisely the reason they were not told ahead of time.

Regarding Trump’s decision not to notify Democratic leaders in advance, Pelosi said, “The House must be briefed on this raid, which the Russians, but not top congressional leadership were notified of in advance, and on the administration’s overall strategy in the region. Our military and allies deserve strong, smart and strategic leadership from Washington.”

First, Russia had to be notified because the men had to fly over Russian controlled areas and likely have been shot down otherwise. Secondly, it wasn’t too long ago, Pelosi, pointed a finger at the President, asked him why do all roads lead to Putin, then stormed out of the meeting.

Frankly, Pelosi and her minions pose a far greater threat to President Trump than Putin.

Additionally, she and Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff, last weekend, “led a high-level congressional delegation to Afghanistan and did not publicly disclose the trip until the group had returned.”

And the whole thing is especially rich given the secrecy with which the Democrats have been conducting their impeachment hearings.

SAD! Media Worried About Islamaphobia in Baghdadi Death, and Suggests it Was Part of a Russian Conspiracy

he media only has one position, and that is opposed to Trump no matter what, so after the raid that successfully killed Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi the Left must figure out how to be upset about the death of the world’s #1 terror leader because Trump supported it. Chuck Todd is worried that America may have been islamaphobic over the handling of Baghdadi, and floats a conspiracy that Baghdadi’s death was probably good for Russia (and therefore bad for America) and the Washington Post writes a glowing obituary headline for the terror leader because they don’t want Trump to look good.
