Biden Just Got Caught In a Lie About His Son’s Ukrainian Business Dealings

It’s almost like he’s got something to hide?

I mentioned yesterday that Joe Biden seemed terrified to even discuss his dealings in Ukraine and how that related to his son. That son, Hunter Biden, just happened to be under investigation by a state prosecutor that Joe Biden got fired by extorting them with threats of withholding $1 billion in aid. How do we know he threatened them with aid money? Because he admitted it on tape, even bragging about it in the process.

Despite this, I’ve been assured the prosecutor getting fired and the investigation into his son being ended was all just a coincidence by our stalwart, unbiased media. One of the main claims you see them make to support that case is that Biden wasn’t aware that his son was being paid $50,000 a month by a corrupt Ukrainian company under investigation.

As unlikely as that seemed before, we now have proof Biden was being less than truthful.

Joe Biden has steadfastly denied even knowing about Burisma but Hunter Biden claims they not only discussed it, but that his father expressed concern. Not only that, the Obama administration’s special envoy had also brought up the matter to Biden. The conflicts of interest involved were not unknown. They had been presented to the current Democratic primary front runner numerous times.

In other words, Biden is lying.

I realize he’s old and has trouble remembering things, but it never made sense that he just didn’t know. Of course he knew and now he’s been caught. Ask yourself this. Why would Joe Biden being threatening $1 billion in foreign aid in order to get a state prosecutor fired? What does an domestic investigation into Burisma matter to foreign policy? The answer is it doesn’t matter. There was no logical reason for what Biden did unless it was to protect his son.

This story has completely backfired on the left and their media allies. The Trump angle has fallen apart, with the only allegation left being that Trump discussed an investigation in Biden’s possible corruption, and to be frank, no one cares. If there was no threat or quid pro quo (which is what Biden actually did), there’s nothing left to pursue no matter how much Democrats want to stretch this story out. The rules changed in 2016 when it comes to using foreign connections to go after political opponents. They aren’t suddenly changing back and now Joe Biden becomes the center of this “scandal.”

McCabe Memo: Rosenstein Offered To Wear Wire To Record Trump Because ‘He Was Not Searched When He Entered The White House’

Judicial Watch announced today they had obtained a copy of a memo written by then-Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe on May 16, 2017. This memo is McCabe’s “contemporaneous recollection” of the infamous meeting held in then-Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s office during which Rosenstein had proposed wearing a wire to record the President.  (The document, which is lightly redacted, is printed below.)

In addition to Rosenstein and McCabe, Deputy Assistant AG for Intelligence Tashina Gauhar and Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General Jim Crowell attended the meeting.

McCabe touched only briefly on Rosenstein’s idea of wearing a wire. Although it was brief, for Rosenstein, it was damning. He wrote:

As our conversation continued the DAG proposed that he could potentially wear a recording device into the Oval Office to collect additional evidence on the President’s true intentions. He said he thought this might be possible because he was not searched when he entered the White House. I told him that I would discuss the opportunity with my investigative team and get back to him.

In September 2018, The New York Times reported that during this meeting, the group had supposedly discussed the possibility of invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office. In addition, Rosenstein allegedly offered to wear a wire to record his conversations with Trump and said he knew of one or two members of Trump’s cabinet who might be on board with such a plan.

McCabe makes no mention of the 25th Amendment, likely because the idea was preposterous and he may have assumed his memo might be referenced in the future.

Rosenstein has publicly maintained that he was being sarcastic when he made this comment. But nothing in McCabe’s memo suggests Rosenstein was being sarcastic. Rather, McCabe wrote he told Rosenstein that he would “discuss the opportunity with my investigative team and get back to him.”

The fact that Rosenstein had gone as far as thinking about practical details such as ‘I am not searched when I enter the White House’ indicates his seriousness. This remark shows that Rosenstein had at least given the idea some thought.

The idea of wearing a wire comes up in the middle of the meeting, but the group discussed other topics as well.

McCabe began by telling Rosenstein that he “approved the opening of an investigation of President Donald Trump … to investigate allegations of possible collusion between the president and the Russian Government, possible obstruction of justice related to the firing of FBI Director James Comey, and possible conspiracy to obstruct justice.”

He told Rosenstein that the predication for his investigation was based on Trump’s interview with NBC’s Lester Holt and “concurring statements” from Comey’s memos.

McCabe expressed concern that Rosenstein, “as a result of his role in the matter, I thought he would be a witness to the case.” (If Rosenstein had been considered a witness in the case, he would have had to recuse himself from overseeing a potential special counsel investigation as then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions had already done.)

Rosenstein then recounted his Oval Office meeting with Trump, Sessions and then-White House Counsel Don McGahn about Comey’s imminent firing. He said the President asked him to write a “memo explaining the reason” for Comey’s firing.

Rosenstein told McCabe he had a “credibility problem.” One of Rosenstein’s staffers had shown him photos of McCabe wearing his wife’s campaign t-shirt after “assuring” the DOJ he played no role in her campaign.

They discussed the possibility of appointing a Special Counsel to conduct the investigation. Rosenstein said he already had two candidates in mind and that one could start right away. In fact, on May 17, 2017, the very next day, Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller to the Special Counsel.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said, “This incredible memo details the conflicted and conniving coup effort against President Trump. It is astonishing and shocking McCabe thought he could have the FBI conduct a ‘counterintelligence’ operation on the president and Rosenstein thought it would be appropriate to wear a wire to secretly record President Trump in the Oval Office. That the DOJ and FBI sat on this smoking gun for a year shows the need for urgent housecleaning at those agencies.”

I’ve never understood why Rod Rosenstein, who has played such a pivotal role in the investigation of President Trump has received so little media attention. The matter of whether or not he volunteered to wear a wire is only part of what he must answer for. He needs to be asked why he appointed a Special Counsel when there was no evidence of collusion in May 2017. FBI attorney Lisa Page admitted during her Congressional testimony last summer that the FBI had no evidence as late as May 2017 that Trump had colluded with Russia. Why did he do it?

Why did he allow Mueller to expand the scope of the investigation? What, if any, evidence did Rosenstein require from Mueller to expand the scope? Was there ever a Mueller request that Rosenstein said no to?

It was Rosenstein’s role to supervise the activities of the Special Counsel, and his apparent submission to Mueller suggests that Mueller was actually driving the bus.

His role must be examined.

Here is the full text of the redacted McCabe memo (via Judicial Watch):

Tuesday, May 16, 2017

At 12:30 pm on 05/16/2017, I met with Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Rod Rosenstein in his office at the Department of Justice. Also present were Tashina Gauhar and Jim Crowell. The following is a contemporaneous recollection of the main topics we discussed.

I began by telling him that today I approved the opening of an investigation of President Donald Trump. I explained that the purpose of the investigation was to investigate allegations of possible collusion between the president and the Russian Government, possible obstruction of justice related to the firing of FBI Director James Comey, and possible conspiracy to obstruct justice. The DAG questioned what I meant by collusion and I explained that I was referring to the investigation of any potential links between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. I explained that counterintelligence investigations of this sort were meant to uncover any existence of any threat to national security as well as whether or not criminal conduct had occurred. Regarding the obstruction issues, I made clear that our predication was based not only on the president’s comments last week to reporter Lester Holt (that he connected the firing of the director to the FBI’s Russia investigation), but also on the several concurring comments the president made to Director Comey over the last few months. These comments included the President’s requests for assurances of loyalty, statements about the Russia investigation and the investigation of General Michael Flynn. I also informed the DAG that Director Comey preserved his recollection of these interactions in a series of contemporaneously drafted memos. Finally, I informed the DAG that as a result of his role in the matter, I thought he would be a witness in the case.

The DAG then related his experiences at the White House on Monday, 05/08/2017. He began by stating that he had the feeling that the decision to fire the Director had been made before he arrived. At the White House, he first met with White House Counsel Donald McGahn, who told him that the President had drafted a letter to Director Comey that McGahn did not want the President to send. Shortly thereafter they met with the President and Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and possibly others, in the Oval Office. President Trump told the DAG he had written a letter to Director Comey, asked the DAG if he had seen the letter, and instructed McGahn to provide the DAG with a copy. The DAG described the letter to me as being a long list, possibly several pages, of the President’s complaints with Director Comey. Among those complaints was a discussion about the FBI’s Russia investigation, as well as a paragraph about the FBI Deputy Director. The DAG indicated to me that he retained a copy of the President’s letter. The DAG said he told the President [redacted]. The President then directed the DAG to write a memo explaining the reasoning for Director Comey’s termination and that the DAG should include Russia. The DAG said to the President he did not think this was a good idea and that his memo did not need to include Russia. The President replied that he understood, but that he was asking the DAG to include Russia anyway.

We discussed the issue of appointing a Special Counsel to oversee the FBI’s Russia investigation. The DAG said he has two candidates ready one of whom could start immediately. [Redacted] The DAG said that he left a copy of the delegation with Acting Assistant Attorney General for National Security Dana Boente to execute in the DAG’s absence if the DAG were suddenly removed from his position. [Redacted] He anticipated that he may be terminated when he puts the Special Counsel in place, in light of the president’s anger with AG Sessions when the AG recused himself from the Russia investigation. The DAG further stated that he was told that others heard the President tell the AG “you were supposed to protect me.”

[Redacted]

The DAG related to me that on Sunday, 05/14/17, the AG asked him to participate in the interview of [redacted] for the position of FBI Director. [Redacted].

The DAG told me that he informed the AG that I should remain in my role as Acting Director until the permanent Director was chosen. The DAG opined that my only “problem” was that some people believe that I was involved in my wife’s 2015 campaign for State Senate in Virginia. The DAG said it was a “credibility problem” because after having told him during my May 13 interview that I played no role in her campaign and attended no campaign events, the DAG said a staffer had provided him with a photograph found on the internet of me and my wife wearing Dr. Jill McCabe campaign t-shirts. The DAG suggested that this photograph contradicted my statement that I had not campaigned for my wife. I pointed out to the DAG that the photograph he saw was taken not at a campaign event, but rather at [redacted] I further informed the DAG that I confirmed with my ethics counsel at FBI that the Hatch Act does not prohibit wearing a campaign button or shirt away from the office, and that attending [redacted] wearing such a shirt does not constitute proscribed political activity.

NeverTrump Attack James Mattis Because He Will Not Attack Trump Over the Ukraine Kerfuffle

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis listens to a question about Russia from the media at the Pentagon, Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, in Washington. Senior American and Russian military leaders met for an unprecedented, face-to-face session somewhere in the Middle East this week to discuss the growing tensions in the competing battles to retake one of the remaining Islamic State strongholds in Syria. (AP Photo/Alex Brandon)

For the past couple of years, retired USMC General and former Secretary of Defense James Mattis has been a central member of the the NeverTrump Pantheon. Trump hadn’t been in office all that long when rumors surfaced that a “suicide pact” existed between Mattis, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin, the cabinet secretaries NeverTrump considered the “adults in the rooom,” in which if one was given the heave-ho the other two would resign in protest. As it came to pass, this story had exactly as much credibility as the Steele Dossier.

What is instructive, though, is that as far as the NeverTrump people are concerned, these guys were and are only as useful as their ability to hurt President Trump. When they cannot or will not attack Trump, then they became anathema.

Yesterday, Mattis was on ABC’s This Week with Martha Raddatz, primarily to talk about Iranian adventurism. But, naturally the Ukraine non-scandal came up:

RADDATZ: Secretary Mattis, I just want to turn to something else that’s in the news, and that’s the whistleblower investigation. President Trump just said “I hope they can put out that conversation.” Should a president be asking foreign leaders to investigate political opponents?

MATTIS: Yeah, Martha, this is not something I have background on. I don’t know anything more than what I read in the news. And apparently no one has seen the complaint, so I really prefer to talk about things I know more about.

Good points all. So far, the argument has been about something which no one really knows anything about. All we know for certain is that the “whistleblower” doesn’t appear to actually be a “whistleblower” because we’re told they neither heard the conversation nor read a transcript. They made a complaint based on something that was heard/seen outside the scope of their duties. What President Trump actually said or didn’t say is unknown.

But that will never do for those with TDS.

Qatar is pretty smug about it:

And the train trust of Max Boot and Tom Nichols had a major sad:

What this shows is that these people aren’t interested in honor or dignity or integrity (of which Mattis has loads). They are only interested in inflicting political damage upon President Trump and his administration.

The LGBT Protests of Chick-fil-A Have Only Made It More Powerful, and Here’s Why That’s the Case

The Chick-fil-A at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA. Screen grab via CFA.

“If you strike me down I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine,” said Chick-fil-A to the LGBT activist community. It didn’t listen, and Chick-fil-A did indeed become a fast-food powerhouse.

The Christian chicken sandwich chain has been in the LGBT activist community’s crosshairs since 2011, ever since its leadership said it believes in traditional marriage. Massive protests and boycotts were called then, and even now, activists and politicians work to impede the advancement of the restaurants to no avail.

According to the Daily Wire, Chick-fil-A’s sales have doubled since 2011 bringing it to 3rd place in terms of most popular fast-food chain, and it has added hundreds of restaurants since, as well:

“Chick-fil-A’s annual sales have more than doubled since LGBT and liberal groups began calling for a boycott of the restaurant in 2012, according to a new analysis,” reports Christian Headlines. “In 2012, when controversy arose over the CEO’s comments about same-sex marriage, sales totaled $4.6 billion, up from $4.1 billion the year before. In 2018, sales totaled $10.46 billion, making it the third-largest restaurant in the United States behind McDonald’s and Starbucks.”

On top of the sales bumps, the chain has added 700 new restaurants in the span of those seven years. Journal & Courier noted that in 2018 alone, Chick-fil-A saw a sales increase more than four times that of Starbucks at 16.7%.

According to Kalinowski Equity Research founder Mark Kalinowski, if it keeps this momentum up it will also pass Starbucks.

“Can they reach $30 billion? I think that’s also a realistic goal if you give them enough time, and that should put them ahead of Starbucks,” he said according to Business Insider.

How did Chick-fil-A achieve this? It’s a happy mixture of things.

For one, Chick-fil-A enjoys a kind of presence that very few organizations share, such as the NRA. As it goes with the gun rights organization, Chick-fil-A is one of the few presences in our society that only gets shinier the more pressure is applied to it. People begin to flock to its defense in order to spite those who would attack it.

This is in no small part thanks to the attacks themselves, which unfairly target the chain for being bigoted when it’s clearly not. Chick-fil-A has made it very clear that everyone is welcome within their stores and will be served with respect, but due to their Christian philosophies, they’ve become instant enemies of left-leaning activists.

It’s entirely possible, and maybe even likely, that many of Chick-fil-A’s customers see themselves being attacked when Chick-fil-A is, and protest this unfair labeling through their patronage.

As the Daily Wire quoted Glenn T. Stanton, director of global family formation studies at Focus on the Family, this activist community is loud, but it’s incredibly small. Meanwhile, those who believe in traditional marriage outnumber them by the millions:

“The only ones who seem to have any kind of beef with the wildly popular chicken restaurant are a minivan-size group of squeaky extremists on the far left,” said Stanton. “They’ve concluded that Chick-fil-A is bigoted without the slightest bit of evidence – only that their founders believe in natural marriage. Their position sits very well with the rest of us.”

But it goes beyond even that. Their food is superb, and their service is even better. Walking into a Chick-fil-A isn’t an iffy experience as it is with other fast-food chains like McDonald’s or KFC, where you might come across an employee who doesn’t really care about good service and the state of the restaurant reflects it.

The truth is, Chick-fil-A is successful because it’s a restaurant that reflects the values of the American majority. What’s more, it’s a strong reminder to America of its own identity, and left-leaning activists can’t tolerate the idea of an America still believing in its own values. As far as the activists are concerned, they need you to believe that the majority is leaning their way.

The numbers don’t lie, though.

Here’s Proof that the Right Respects the Environment More than the Left Does

Westlake Legal Group ap-climate-protest-620x430 Here’s Proof that the Right Respects the Environment More than the Left Does wind farms waste solar farms Shutdown D.C. right wing republicans renewable energy protests Politics Nuclear Energy litter leftists hunting Front Page Stories Featured Story environmentalism environment democrats Conservationism Climate Change Climate Allow Media Exception

Climate activists demonstrate in Paris, Saturday, Dec.12, 2015 during the COP21, the United Nations Climate Change Conference. Several environmental and human rights groups are planning protests around Paris to call attention to populations threatened by man-made global warming and urge an end to human use of oil, gas and coal. (AP Photo/Thibault Camus)

The left’s cult of environmentalism sure is loud and flashy, but despite all their efforts to “bring awareness” of their church’s doctrines to the public, it doesn’t seem to make one bit of difference. In fact, we could venture to guess that a lot of what these climate alarmists are doing is harmful to the environment.

Meanwhile, the right seems far more responsible and helpful when it comes to the environment.

Some perfect examples are the protests themselves. As a Daily Caller reporter pointed out in a man on the street interview-style video at the Climate Strike in D.C., many of the protesters who show up at these kinds of rallies get there by burning fossil fuels in jets and cars while holding signs that were made by cutting down trees. They also utilize plastics, which are harmful to the environment to both make and dispose of.

(Watch: Climate Protesters Try To Justify Their Use Of Climate Harming Products)

Not to mention the fact that during these events, protesters will do stupid things that harm the environment for reasons I’m not sure about. In D.C., they stall traffic by blocking roadways which keeps those cars on the road burning more fuel to stay on and backing up traffic to multiply the problem.

They also, for some reason, decided to set a dumpster fire that spews smoke and fumes from what’s burned in there while complaining that the world is on fire and needs to be put out. The cognitive dissonance is astounding.

Climate activists are also notorious for leaving behind tons of trash during their protests. Even the pipeline protests, which were supposed to be purposed for combatting the supposedly environmentally damaging pipelines, left behind so much trash and waste that the land was actually that was deemed a “sensitive wildlife habitat” was destroyed.

As of this writing, the climate protest in D.C. features a twerking man that is being sprinkled with confetti, which is being left on the ground. That’s not activism, that’s littering.

All the while, these climate protesters continue to live lavish lifestyles of consumerism, waste, and convenience, even as they complain about how everyone else is screwing up the planet. Even the elite who push climate change alarmism live these lifestyles while flying to climate summits and events by taking private jets, burning an immense amount of fuel.

(WATCH: Australian Broadcaster Takes Down The Spoiled Climate Protesting Students In Epic Fashion)

They demonize capitalism as the reason this is happening, but forget that capitalism is the system capable of the most technological progression which can then help us develop better ways of obtaining energy. They want you to cut back on your consumption of various foods, such as beef but hold BBQs for photo ops.

As the hypocritical complaining from the left gets wild attention from media and politicians, the right is actually doing what’s necessary to help the environment.

I’ve seen the right push for nuclear energy, which is far cleaner and creates way less waste. It’s far more environmentally safe than even solar and wind power, which requires massive amounts of rare earth metals to be dug out of mountains and swaths of land to be destroyed and repurposed for their implementation. And that’s all before it begins killing the wildlife.

(READ: An Environmentalist’s Blistering Article Against Renewable Energy Wrecks AOC’s Green New Deal)

Unlike the left, which believes the government will magically fix all of the world’s problems, the right believes in the ingenuity and gumption of brilliant minds to create new or improved energy sources through the free exchange of ideas and market forces of capitalism.

In terms of everyday help, the right in general smiles on the act of hunting, which when done in moderation actually helps the environment by keeping populations at manageable levels. In Texas, we hunt the wild hogs that breed very quickly, and with few natural predators, it’s up to humans to keep these populations low so that they don’t destroy the land and ruin the lives of the surrounding wildlife. Conservationism is part of the game, not just the blood sport the left makes hunting out to be.

What’s more, while the left is busy littering while it complains about environmental damage, right-wing groups are actually going out and cleaning things up. Scott Pressler, who has been demonized by the leftist media, has led a cleanup effort that picked up streets so trashed that they became environmental hazards.

As politicians and big-name activists like Al Sharpton gave speeches about how Trump was racist for noting that Baltimore was indeed a rat-infested, trash ridden city, Pressler was there with a large team fixing the problem.

(READ: Trump Supporters Clean Up West Baltimore As Thankful Residents Defy Media Narrative)

Now, Pressler’s volunteer group is cleaning up the streets of Los Angeles.

See the difference? While the left complains about the environment while it burns and litters, the right is doing the work of picking up the litter.

After all of this, one of the biggest differences in how the left and the right handle the environment comes at the intellectual level. According to the left, climate change is happening and we’re not allowed to question it beyond that. Just get on board with whatever solutions are being proposed and don’t you dare speak out against it in any way.

The right, however, doesn’t think the science is settled. It wants more conversation, more study, and less sensationalism. It wants to hear all the angles, not just one.

And why shouldn’t it? Stories continue to come out that defy climate alarmism narratives. We’ve been told the world is going to end in a decade for decades. We’ve been told the ice caps are melting when many are actually growing. We’re hearing about how our planet is on fire when new greenery has been growing where it hasn’t before, essentially increasing Earth’s vegetation in what’s called a “global greening.”

Even noted climate scientists laugh at the environmental doomsday predictions of agenda-driven politicians and scientists, calling their predictions borderline impossible.

As far as I can tell, the left likes to tout itself as the savior of the global environment, but I only see it hurting it while using sensationalism to push agendas. Meanwhile, I see the right grounding itself in reality and actually helping fix problems.

Mitt Romney Comments on the Trump-Ukraine Story and It’s Exactly What You’d Expect

Westlake Legal Group Mitt-Romney-Real-MR-Please-Stand-Up Mitt Romney Comments on the Trump-Ukraine Story and It’s Exactly What You’d Expect Virtue Signals Ukraine quid pro quo Politics Obama Mitt Romney Joe Biden Hypocrisy hunter biden Front Page Stories Front Page Featured Story donald trump corruption

After a weekend of disappointment for Democrats, media members, and some conservatives alike, we were still missing one man’s opinion on the matter of Trump asking Ukraine’s new president to look into possible corruption by Joe Biden.

No worries though, because Mitt Romney has finally weighed in and it’s everything you’d expect it to be.

Keep in mind, this was sent out yesterday afternoon, well over a day after we learned there was no quid pro quo and that Trump did not attempt to pressure Ukraine to do anything. All the impeachment fever had already been shown to be ludicrous (again), so what does Romney do? He strolls in, puts on his virtue signaling pants, and lets know how troubling it would be if Trump even asked Ukraine to investigate.

Why is it troubling? Well, I’m not really sure. If Joe Biden did what he bragged about on video, there is indeed plenty of probable cause to suggest an investigation be done by Ukraine. That seems to be a perfectly reasonable request of an ally. It’s also a much lesser version of what we were assured was above board in 2016, when the Obama administration leaned on a foreign spy and the United Kingdom’s intel apparatus to investigate Trump.

On that note, you know what tweet Romney has never sent out? He’s never condemned the Obama administration for their witch hunt against Trump, who was also political rival at the time. Never has Romney feigned indignation at Hillary Clinton hiring Fusion GPS to mine Russian sources for opposition research. In fact, I can’t recall Romney even questioning those happenings and at least wanting more answers. To the contrary, most of his comments involving those issues have been qualified “if true” slams against Trump, even as they indeed turned out to be mostly not true.

I’m all for a big tent as a political party, but Mitt Romney is just terrible. This is a guy who once proudly stumped for abortion and helped push government funded healthcare. He’s currently entertaining a carbon tax like he’s Bernie Sanders or something. He’s Jeff Flake with more self-righteousness and perhaps that’d be passable if Romney at least pointed his indignation at Democrats sometimes as well. But no, like many anti-Trump apparatchiks, he can only ever seem to point his ire at his own side. That act got old a long time ago. If Romney thinks this is path back to glory within the Republican party, he’s sadly mistaken.

Is Ukraine Story Nothing More Than Projection? Giuliani Says Nation Laundered $3 Million To Biden’s Son

There’s a quote that gets thrown around by conservatives that has been attributed to everyone from Karl Marx to Saul Alinsky to Antifa and it basically says something to the effect of: “accuse your opponent of what you are doing to sow discord and confusion and put your opponent on the defensive.”

I can’t find an attributable source of the quote but the spirit of it is certainly one embraced by the modern Democrat party and progressives in general. One need look no farther than this newest scandal involving Ukraine for proof.

The theory from Democrats is that some unknown do-gooder whistleblower heard details of a call Trump had with the President of Ukraine, wherein the US president promised to withhold aide if Ukraine didn’t address corruption in their country (and possibly provide information on Joe Biden’s son Hunter’s shady business dealing in there).

“Scandal!,” the Democrats and their media partners have been screaming since the story broke, most recently in today’s Washington Post’s “The Fix” which theorizes Trump made statements at the UN to lay down a “preemptive defense” if the scandal is fully brought to light.

But — as has been the case with all these “gotcha!” moments in the wake of the death of the Russia collusion narrative — the whistleblower may not actually exist.

It turns out the complaint is nothing more than a rumor reported by someone in the intelligence community. Buried in a lengthy CNN article about the complaint is the following paragraph:

The whistleblower didn’t have direct knowledge of the communications, an official briefed on the matter told CNN. Instead, the whistleblower’s concerns came in part from learning information that was not obtained during the course of their work, and those details have played a role in the administration’s determination that the complaint didn’t fit the reporting requirements under the intelligence whistleblower law, the official said.

Granted, this is yet another anonymous source giving more context on what another anonymous source told a different outlet, but it still calls the entire story into question.

What appears to actually be happening is what that unattributed quote up above alludes to: blaming the other side for your own transgressions to cause confusion and defensiveness. What the Democrats are accusing Trump of doing was, almost to the letter, what they themselves did to protect Biden’s son Hunter’s shady business dealings in Ukraine. Former Secretary of State John Kerry, whether he realized it or not, gave the game away on Morning Joe.

Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin summed it up pretty handily with Jake Tapper last week when he said, “I think the real issue here is not what the president said, but what, indeed, did Biden’s son do?”

And what did Hunter Biden allegedly do? Rudy Giuliani, in a Twitter thread, says he received a lot of laundered money while his father was serving as the Obama administration’s liaison with Ukraine and was working to root out corruption.

Hunter took a board position with a natural gas extractions company called Burisma Holdings. While the Obama administration said there was no conflict of interest, Giuliani says otherwise.

President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani early Monday accused Ukraine of laundering $3 million to Joe Biden’s son Hunter and questioned how former President Barack Obama could have allowed it to happen.

”NEW FACT: One $3 million payment to Biden’s son from Ukraine to Latvia to Cyprus to US,” Giuliani wrote on Twitter at 2:22 a.m.

What’s more, Trump and Giuliani have suggested that the elder Biden pushed for the firing of Viktor Shokin, Ukraine’s general prosecutor, to stop his investigation into Burisma.

The elder Biden has appeared at times to brag about this last little wielding of power.

If Biden, who has already been brutally rude on the campaign trail to reporters asking him questions about Ukraine, indeed is using the strategy of projection, it might indicate a last ditch effort to divert attention away from himself before the story gets even bigger. And, according to Giuliani, a bigger pay-to-play story — one involving China — could be breaking very soon.

Actress Megan Fox Explains Why She Sends Her Son to School in Dresses

Last Wednesday on Entertainment Tonight, actress Megan Fox touted motherhood:

“Even though I consider myself a feminist, I feel like feminists don’t want me to be a part of their group. What is supporting other females if there [are] only certain ones of us we support? If I have to be an academic or have to be non-threatening to you in some way? Why can’t I be a part of the group as well? … Being a mother is not something really respected in this industry. If anything, it’s considered as a handicap.”

As reported by Fox News, the mom of three has something else she believes strongly in: allowing her son to wear dresses to school.

On CBS’s The Talk Thursday, Megan explained that, at times, her 6-year-old wants to don a dress — and sport the willowy wardrobe at his “liberal, hippie school.”

She’s cool with it. He picks his own outfits.

And off he goes in female attire.

Sometimes:

“Sometimes, he’ll dress himself, and he likes to wear dresses sometimes.”

That doesn’t completely work out:

“And I send him to a really liberal, hippie school, but even there – here in California – he still has little boys going, ‘Boys don’t wear dresses,’ or ‘Boys don’t wear pink.’”

That’s what he’s goin’ through.

But she wants him to learn confidence:

“So we’re going through that now, where I’m trying to teach him to be confident no matter what anyone else says.”

At a point, he took a break from the dresses. But she credits his love of fashion for the resurgence:

“He had stopped wearing dresses for a while. He just wore one two days ago to school, and he came home and I was like, ‘How was it? Did any of the friends at school have anything to say?’ And he was like, ‘Well, all the boys laughed when I came in, but I don’t care, I love dresses too much.’”

The kid’s creative, and she wants to encourage it:

“He designs, he draws outfits. He’s very talented. But he’s still six, so when I do fittings, like, I did one recently and I had this really beautiful yellow dress on, and he kept draping it in a way where he’s like, ‘If we do it like this, it looks like a diaper! I was like, ‘That’s not what we’re going for this time, but maybe next time!’”

Among parents, there appears to be a bit of a trend toward defying the sexual status quo in Tinseltown — as I covered in April, Charlize Theron reported that her 7-year-old son has been a girl since he was 3 (here); and Kate Hudson doesn’t yet know the gender of her little girl (here).

As for Megan’s little boy wearing dresses, what do you think the experience is imparting? Do you believe it’s building confidence, as she hopes?

I look forward to hearing from you in the Comments section.

If Trump Possibly Committed a Crime, Then Biden DEFINITELY Committed a Crime

The media has been breathless over the “whistle blower” from the intelligence community who turned out to be someone who heard a rumor and then Adam Schiff (D-CA) got involved and so did the media so now it’s a “scandal”. Even though we now know all of the facts and that the person who filed the whistle blower report has no actual knowledge of the incident that doesn’t stop the media and Democrats going into full impeachment mode yet again. There is something interesting about the rhetoric though, and it blatantly shows the double standard the Democrats and media want for our country.

Joe Biden is a subject when it comes to Ukraine because Joe Biden admitted that he threatened to with hold $1 Billion in funds from Ukraine unless they fired their chief prosecutor, the chief prosecutor who happened to be investigating Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company who Joe Biden’s son Hunter happened to be a member of the board. Is it possible that Biden was not influenced by his son being a member of that board? Sure, anything is possible. It is also possible that Joe, given what we’ve seen of his mental faculties had no idea that his son was on Burisma’s board.

The problem here is that the Democrats and the media are upset that Trump supposedly was trying to influence an investigation being conducted by a foreign power. The main stream media is suggesting Trump committed treason, or at the very least an impeachable offense because he was “blackmailing” Ukraine and threatening to with hold funds because he wanted a specific political outcome. This begs the question of why is Trump telling the Ukrainian President that he wont give them funds unless they investigate Biden, but it’s not a problem that Biden said he would with hold funds unless they fire their chief prosecutor?

The difference between the two is simple. Joe Biden has admitted to threatening to with hold funds unless the Ukrainians fired their prosecutor. At a Council on Foreign Relations event Biden said:

“I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’”

So clearly Biden admits that he threatened to with hold money from Ukraine unless they fired their prosecutor. Not only is this the Democrats’ definition of foreign meddling, but also, he’s admitting to what the Democrats are claiming is an impeachable offense and maybe even treason. How can Biden not be guilt of this crime if Donald Trump is?

In the worst case scenario, Donald Trump said on a phone call that he would not give Ukraine money if they didn’t investigate Biden, yet as far as we know, no money or aid has been withheld from Ukraine, and even their foreign minister states that he does not believe there was any coercion from the President. But we know that Biden did withhold funds from Ukraine, and only dispensed these funds after they did what he asked, given that in the same speech to the Council on Foreign Relations he also stated:

“Well, son of a bitch, he got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time,”

There is no way the Democrats can say that Donald Trump is guilty of an impeachable offense, nor treason and Biden is somehow innocent on all accounts. The only credible way for the Democrat party to try and impeach Donald Trump is if they also indict Joe Biden for the same crimes, otherwise this is all a complete pile of garbage. This statement needs to be echoed everywhere until the Democrats move on to their next “impeachable offense” or they actually prove that their concerned over this activity and indict Joe Biden.
