Last Friday, I wrote about an interview Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) did on Fox News in which he gave President Trump some advice on how to handle the public infighting and squabbles between House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). During the interview segment, Graham said:

Literally. Mr. President if you’re watching tonight, just enjoy this. Be quiet.

Well, the President wasn’t quiet and the result was a series of tweets he wrote this weekend that have led to outrage across the political spectrum.

Monday morning on an episode of “Fox and Friends”, Graham did not condemn Trump’s tweets but did offer him some more sage advice (transcribed)

“We all know that AOC and this crowd are a bunch of communists. They hate Israel, they hate our own country. They’re calling guards along our border — the Border Patrol agents — concentration camp guards. They accuse people who support Israel of doing it for ‘the Benjamins.’ They’re anti-Semitic. They’re anti-America. Don’t get down. Aim higher. We don’t need to know anything about them personally. Talk about their policies.”

There was some crosstalk where it sounded like Graham was asked if he found the tweets negative. Here’s what Graham said in response (transcribed):

“I think they’re American citizens who are duly elected that are running on an agenda that is disgusting, that the American people will reject. Talk about what it means for America to have free healthcare for illegal immigrants, and no criminalization of coming into the country — see how that works for controlling immigration.

Their ideas, they’re anti-Semitic. They talk about the Israeli state as if they’re a bunch of thugs, not victims of the entire region. They wanted to impeach Trump on day one. They are socialist, they’re anti-Semitic, they stand for all the things that most Americans disagree with. Make them the face of the future Democratic Party and you will destroy the Democratic Party.”

Watch video of Graham’s remarks below:

Sounds like the President was listening. Trump tweeted a partial transcript of Graham’s remarks on his Twitter feed earlier today.

Yesterday, President Trump unleashed a broadside against the Four Harridans of the House, who apparently have styled themselves as “The Squad” for reasons known only to them. This blast came as the Democrats were acting like a coyote trying to get out of a steel trap. There has been comment on what it all means. Here are our offerings:

Counterpoint: Mike Ford President Trump Stirs the Pot in Dems’ Civil War, Forcing Pelosi To Make Nice With Those Who Want to Destroy Her

Trump’s Tweet About Congresswomen Is Full of Issues but It Isn’t Racist

For whatever its worth, I’m more inclined to agree with Bonchie than Mike but I’ve been wrong so often about so many things Trump has done that I don’t even have an opinion on how this is going to play out.

This morning, President Trump was back at it

While none of us knows how this plays out, there is no doubt that Trump’s tweets and his demand for an apology did give Nancy Pelosi the chance to try to make common cause with The Squad.

House Democrats are drafting a resolution to condemn President Donald Trump’s racist tweets against Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other high-profile freshman congresswomen.

“This weekend, the President went beyond his own low standards using disgraceful language about Members of Congress,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi wrote in a letter to House Democrats announcing the party’s plans.

“This morning, the President doubled down on his attacks on our four colleagues suggesting they apologize to him,” she added. “Let me be clear, our Caucus will continue to forcefully respond to these disgusting attacks.”

This is a joke. Actually it is less than a joke. The joke was when Pelosi couldn’t get the House to pass a resolution condemning the blatant anti-semitism of Ilhan Omar. This resolution is not going to make The Squad and their fanbois happy. They will accuse Pelosi of not defending these disgusting little commies. It isn’t going to hurt Trump because no one really cares what kind of resolutions a virulently anti-Trump House passes. If anything, this may very well have the effect of a New York Times editorial excoriating Trump.

In the Aftermath of a Fascistic Antifa Attack on a Government Facility, the Rifled Terrorist is Hailed a Hero

In Tacoma, Washington, a man attacked an immigration detention center. Subsequently, some on social media are hailing him a hero.

69-year-old Willem Van Spronsen also must be a martyr — he was killed Saturday morning in a shootout with cops.

The call came around 4 a.m.: Willem had shown up equipped with flares and a rifle and was tossing would-be igniters at a large propane tank.

He did manage to set fire to a car.

According to a friend who spoke with The Seattle Times, Willem identified as part of the pro-fascism, pro-ironic-names group Antifa.

He was set to go out in a blaze of social justice glory:

“He was ready to end it. I think this was a suicide. But then he was able to kind of do it in a way that spoke to his political beliefs . I know he went down there knowing he was going to die.”

Here’s a tribute:

And “plenty of love” for the comrade:

Hero:

How many praising the attempt at “liberation” know the cages being displayed on social media were built during Obama’s presidency?

How many of the indignant were railing against the injustice then?

We have an immigration problem — people aren’t willing to do it. Instead, they’re trying to sneak in. We have a border security problem — people aren’t willing to do it. Instead, they’re collecting their congressional paychecks and choosing not to fix things.

We have a political and ignorance problem — people aren’t willing to know things. Family separation was the result of the left-wing 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the decision of a Democrat-controlled Congress, and the Clinton-era Flores Settlement (here). It was the effect of a nation unwilling to imprison minors. Now we’re back to that (here). Is it better?

Whatever the problems at detention centers may be, running around pyromaniacally with a rifle — to borrow from a Steve Martin movie — is an idiot’s version of being interesting. The same is true of any various black-masked Antifa antics.

If Willem had succeeded in lighting the place up, what might’ve happened? Men, women and children, brought to their fiery deaths?

Still, hero:

The revolutionaries are among us. And their violent American presence — fueled by a pulverizing ignorance of politics and history, not to mention a lack of understanding of some of their favorite words (here, here, here, and here) — is very, very dangerous.

Planned Parenthood President Launches Disgusting Attack Against Crisis Pregnancy Centers

This kind of thing is just depraved.

The vast majority of Planned Parenthood’s “services” boil down to performing abortions or some aspect leading up to performing an abortion. Given the great work Crisis Pregnancy Centers do to actually take care of women, you’d think Planned Parenthood would just slink away in shame and leave them alone.

But nope, these people have no shame.

This is total garbage and disgustingly dishonest.

They are health centers, whether Leana Wen wants to consider them that or not. In fact, they provide far more vital services for women than Planned Parenthood does.

At no point do CPCs offer misinformation to their clients. Instead, they offer them the full picture of what abortion is and the emotional issues having one can bring on. They let women know that there are other, actual humane ways to deal with an unwanted pregnancy aside from scrambling the child’s brain and sucking it out with a vacuum. PPFA has been notoriously exposed in the past for pushing abortion as the only viable option while counseling women not to choose adoption.

I’ve also never heard of a CPC shaming a woman. With thousands of them in existence, I’m sure some worker has gotten out over their skis, but the idea that there’s a culture of shame in CPCs is abject, slanderous nonsense. It’s the opposite in my experience (as someone who gives yearly to a center and whose wife has volunteered at it).

CPCs exist all over the country providing vital services to women who choose life. They do things Planned Parenthood won’t do, like provide actual pre-natal care, post-natal care, welfare assistance, diapers, bottles, counseling, parenting classes, etc. In other words, they actually care about the women who come through their doors.

Ask yourself what PPFA has to gain by slamming CPCs? The answer is simply money. The more women don’t choose abortion, the less the ghouls at Planned Parenthood make in cash because it’s literally their entire profit base, whether they want to admit it or not.

Killing kids is good for business for Dr. Wen and her cohorts. Instead of being cowards and attacking CPCs, they should just admit it and perhaps reflect on the evil they are inflicting on society.

Trump’s Tweet About Congresswomen Is Full of Issues but It Isn’t Racist

Westlake Legal Group trumptwitter_600x400-620x360 Trump’s Tweet About Congresswomen Is Full of Issues but It Isn’t Racist twitter Social Media rashida tlaib racism Politics Ilhan Omar governments Front Page Stories Drugs donald trump democrats crime Congress bigotry Allow Media Exception Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Dominating my feeds over the weekend was the fact that President Donald Trump tweeted out that people like Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Talib should go back to their respective countries of origin and fix the problems there if they think America is horrible.

The tweet was heralded as racist from the top of every soapbox the leftist collective could find. It even prompted Omar to retweet an article that essentially labeled all of Trump’s supporters as racist if they support him, marking the first time Omar actually labeled Trump’s following as racist.

After looking at the tweet, I can easily arrive at two conclusions. The tweet is stupid and not very well thought out, but it’s definitely not racist nor is it without its point.

Before I start getting angry tweets thrown at me from both sides, let me explain.

Let’s take a look at the tweet in question.

Trump calls out the anti-American nature of these “Democrat Congresswomen,” and notes that their countries of origin are horribly run, not at all well-maintained, and are usually corrupt.

He then tells them to go back and fix the problems those countries have, then come back and show the U.S. how to solve these problems.

Let me just skip analyzing the countries that these women either hail or descend from. I don’t think I need to point out that Somalia is a horrible place or that the area around Israel is infested with terrorism and brutal governments.

Here are the two things that should be focused on and why I think it’s important to be able to differentiate between a stupid tweet and a racist tweet. For one, Trump isn’t saying that one race is better than another, he’s calling out the governments of foreign countries which definitely aren’t as good as ours. Trying to say that the United States is just as good as Somalia is just like trying to say a lion is the same as a house cat. It just doesn’t work.

Trump didn’t say “Omar and Tlaib’s races are inferior to the white race that dominated America’s history.” That would have been a racist tweet. What he said was that these women should retreat to these countries where these governments get it horribly wrong, then upon fixing these governments where problems that these hard-leftist claim to loath really are present, come back and show us how to fix the problems at home.

It’s key that he also said that they should come back. He doesn’t denounce their citizenship within the U.S., nor does he remove the idea that they’re elected officials. In fact, his tweet very clearly recognizes both.

Trump doesn’t demonstrate racism throughout these tweets, and it appears that claims of racism are inferred rather than proven from mainstream outlets that report on it. It’s the idea that Trump would tweet something like this because he’s racist. Thing is, the tweet doesn’t touch race, just crappy governments, and last I checked, government bodies don’t qualify as races.

On top of that, Trump has a point. These women consistently act like the United States is a cruel country with horrific problems generated from its embracing of a culture that was propagated by their favorite boogieman, the white male. I feel like I shouldn’t need to point out how racist and sexist this is, but funny enough, I constantly have to.

Their anger usually comes off as ignorant, like the spoiled ranting of first-world kids who haven’t truly known what it’s like to be oppressed, or live with little hope. Trump is advocating that they truly see what it’s like to have to live in a place where you don’t get a vote based on your genitalia, and prejudice and bigotry are a standard, not an exception like it is in the country they’re in now.

That said, this tweet was horribly worded and a reeked of ignorance. While not named, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the most famous of the “progressive Democrat Congresswomen” and while being born in in the U.S., she is a descendant of Puerto Ricans, a U.S. territory. It’s a place with a increasingly bad drug problem and a good deal of its citizens live below the poverty line, but it’s not exactly the hell-hole that is Somalia, where Omar actually hails from. Tlaib’s family is from Palestinian places outside of Israel, which are infested with terrorists and brutal governments, but Tlaib was born in the United States.

I’m not defending these women. The bigotry and ridiculousness they’ve shown eclipses anything stupid that Trump has done or said, but with that in mind, I think Trump’s tweet indicates that he doesn’t know much about these women other than the fact that they’re of foreign origin. Whether he mean to or not, this comes off as ignorance, and as such makes his already un-professional tweet come off as stupid. It’s likely that when he wrote of their countries of origin, he meant where they were descended from, but that doesn’t come off in the tweet.

Two things can be true at once. Trump’s tweet can be solid in its point, and it can be a ridiculous tweet that he shouldn’t have probably tweeted out in the first place. He’s definitely punching down at lawmakers who, while they have a very loud following, are generally recognized as silly people who don’t know what they’re doing half the time.

Let me be clear. I think addressing their comments in context and slapping them down when they tend to make news is a superb idea, but throwing out statements that contain generalities that come off like whispered comment on an episode of Real Housewives isn’t.

Omar and Ocasio-Cortez aren’t the brightest bulbs in the box, but we can easily sit back and let them prove that themselves without the President’s jabs. That said, what Trump tweeted wasn’t at all racist, and I think it’s a bit ridiculous that this isn’t obvious.

This is just one more incident that proves that the word “racism” has lost all meaning.

Eulogy Compares Antifa Thug Who Threw Incendiary Devices at ICE Facility to Abolitionist John Brown

Westlake Legal Group Antifa-Berkeley-620x328 Eulogy Compares Antifa Thug Who Threw Incendiary Devices at ICE Facility to Abolitionist John Brown Willem Van Spronsen Front Page Stories Featured Story antifa Abolitionist John Brown

These people are out of their minds.

Journalist Andy Ngo, who was brutally attacked two weeks ago by Antifa thugs, has posted the organization’s eulogy for Willem van Spronsen, the armed thug who was shot and killed by police on Saturday as he threw incendiary devices at an ICE Detention Center in Tacoma, Washington.

Here it is:

When our good friend and comrade Willem van Spronsen took a stand against the fascist detention center in Tacoma, he became a martyr who gave his life to the struggle against fascism. He was kind and deeply loved by many communities; we cannot let his death go unanswered.

Throughout history we idolize figures like John Brown for their courage to take the ultimate stand against oppression and today, we stand strong in our support for yet another martyr in the struggle against fascism. May his death serve as a call to protest and direct action.

In his final manifesto, van Spronsen wrote that John Brown was his “moral guide.” Brown stood strong against slavery in the 1850s and supported the use of force to end it. His most famous words were “These men are all talk. What we need is action—action!” These words became van Spronsen’s motto.

Van Spronsen equates Brown’s fight against the oppression of slaves with his own fight against the oppression of illegal immigrants by the “fascist” U.S. government.

In death, he has become a martyr.

Also published on the Antifa website, itsgoingdown.org, is van Spronsen’s alleged final manifesto. There is a large caricature of him above the statement with the words, “Rest in Power, 1950-2019; We are going to inherit the earth, there is not the slightest doubt about that.”

(Audio manifesto: thesuper8.bandcamp.com) via itsgoingdown.org

This document provides a glimpse into the mind of a man who believes, as crazy as it sounds, that he is doing the right thing, that he is a voice for the voiceless.

In his manifesto, van Spronsen calls his comrades to action against the “forces of evil.” He refers to ICE detention centers as “concentration camps for folks deemed lesser.”

I wonder who began referring to ICE centers as concentration camps first; AOC or van Spronsen? Probably AOC.

He also believes these facilities are profitable for the government.

He has an “unshakable abhorrence for injustice” and he wants to make a difference.

Van Spronsen follows three teachers:

Don Pritts, my spiritual guide. “Love without action is just a word.”
John Brown, my moral guide. “What is needed is action!”
Emma Goldman, my political guide. “If I can’t dance, I don’t want to be in your revolution.”

He speaks of  “love and redemption” as he’s about to perpetrate violence.

He warns that fascism is coming. He has “watched it survive and thrive under the protection of the state for decades. Now it unabashedly follows its agenda with open and full cooperation from the government. From governments around the world.”

To my comrades:
I regret that I will miss the rest of the revolution.
Thank you for the honor of having me in your midst.

I am antifa. I stand with comrades around the world who act from the love of life in every permutation. Comrades who understand that freedom means real freedom for all and a life worth living.

Finally, he “strongly encourages comrades and incoming comrades to arm themselves. We are now responsible for defending people from the predatory state. Ignore the law in arming yourself if you have the luxury, I did.”

A woman, Deb Bartley, who said she had been van Spronsen’s friend for 20 years spoke to the Washington Times. She “believes his attack on the detention center was intended to provoke a fatal conflict.”

Bartley said, “He was ready to end it. I think this was a suicide. But then he was able to kind of do it in a way that spoke to his political beliefs. I know he went down there knowing he was going to die.” She also said that she and others had received letters in the mail “just saying goodbye.”

Bye.

There’s No Need To Bait ‘The Squad’; Their ‘Values’ Tell Us What We Need To Know

Westlake Legal Group Untitled-4 There’s No Need To Bait ‘The Squad’; Their ‘Values’ Tell Us What We Need To Know Trump The Squad rashida tlaib Ilhan Omar Front Page Stories Featured Story donald trump Ayanna Pressley AOC

Following Trump’s questionable tweets suggesting “The Squad” — i.e. the vocally critical Democratic congresswomen with ties to, and activist policies regarding, other nations — should “go back” to their favored countries or countries of origin to fix their problems, Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) insisted the tweets were racist and “clapbacked” they had no fear of Trump.

The unfortunate result of Trump’s tweets (I’m not willing to call them racist but they were certainly thoughtless) is it makes people who are otherwise critical of the policy positions of these ladies pause to defend them when they ought to be evaluating the congressladies’ own questionable statements, like this one from a day or so before Trump’s tweets.

“One thing I tell women of color is that we never needed to ask for permission or an invitation to lead,” [Rep. Ilhan] Omar said in a keynote panel at the Netroots Nation conference, which included Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and Deb Haaland (D-NM). “We were sent to Washington to lead with our values and have an agenda that really pushes that forward.”

She continued: “There is a constant struggle with people who have power about sharing power and we’re not in the business of asking to share that power, we’re in the interest of grabbing that power,” Omar said. “We are not carrying the water for this cruel administration. We are doing the job that people in this country put us forward to do.”

Omar is touting her “values” as a reason she seeks to “grab” power. I mean, yikes.

The power grab thing is weird enough, but let’s examine her values for a second. This is a woman who is being investigated for campaign finance violations, has an odd first marriage which may have led to IRS fraud, and recently flat-out fabricated a story of racial injustice and told it to schoolchildren. In short, she lied to kids.

Then there’s AOC, who recently posted a picture to twitter of VP Mike Pence and compared him to Hitler stooge Heinrich Himmler, likes to say the world will end in 12 years to compel people to support her climate change hysteria, and also pulled this quaint little stunt the other day:

Then there’s Tlaib, who bangs the drum of racism over Israel’s relationship to Palestinians, and uses the American struggle with equality to do it (thereby demonizing both countries in one fell swoop).

In an interview published Saturday by Jacobin, a democratic socialist quarterly magazine based in New York that offers American leftist perspectives on politics, Tlaib – America’s first Palestinian-American in Congress – compared the happenings in Israel with racial segregation in the United States.

Playing the intersectionality card – the idea that different forms of oppression and discrimination and its effects overlap – Tlaib said that, “Just like we looked at the struggle for black Americans for true equality and access to opportunity to thrive. The same thing that has happened to the LGBTQ community. All of that is why I say free Palestine, that Palestinians deserve human rights. I see young people understanding that. When I see young Black Lives Matter activists with t-shirts that say ‘Free Palestine,’ and I’m wearing the Black Lives Matter t-shirt, I know it’s working.”

For her part, Pressley seems the least willing of The Squad to race-bait and outright lie, but she sure does like abortion.

As is his way, Trump doubled down Monday and asked the ladies to apologize to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi — and the country at large — “for the foul language they have used, and the terrible things they have said.”

“So sad to see the Democrats sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country and who, in addition, hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion,” Trump wrote online. “Whenever confronted, they call their adversaries, including Nancy Pelosi, ‘RACIST.’ Their disgusting language … and the many terrible things they say about the United States must not be allowed to go unchallenged.”

If he was trying to draw attention to their behavior by baiting them, so be it. But Trump really needn’t bait these ladies to reveal what they are and how they think. Their “values” speak for themselves.

BREAKING: Trump Makes Major Change to Asylum Rules

The Trump administration has finally moved forward with making major changes to our asylum rules.

This is long overdue.

It makes no sense for any true asylum seeker to to be allowed to country shop on their journey. The point of asylum is protection from immediate danger. It is not to garner the most economically beneficial situation. If someone is truly physically threatened in Guatemala, there is no reason for them to travel almost 2,000 miles, paying off drug cartels and putting their children in mortal danger, to cross the U.S. border illegally.

We simply do not have the amount of facilities, immigration judges, nor welfare to continue to sustain the influx of migrants currently coming. Asylum is not something that should be abused and allowing so many to do so only makes it harder for legitimate claims to be adjudicated. Lax enforcement and asylum abuse only incentivize more to come, which leads to more abuse, more rapes, and more sick and dead children.

The United States is an incredibly charitable nation, but we simply can not absorb the entirety of the world’s poor. This change to asylum laws is common sense and should be allowed to go into effect.

With that said, you’ll be able to count the days on your hands before a liberal judge puts an injunction in place, stopping this rule change. We aren’t governed by elected officials anymore, only the whims of district judges.

#Journalism: After “Racist” Trump Tweets, Brian Stelter Brags About CNN’s (Inconsistent) Labeling Standards

The hot takes are flying after incendiary tweets President Trump posted over the weekend about the Queenie Quartet of Democratic Reps. AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley, which many on the left, some on the right, and some in the mainstream media have characterized as “xenophobic” and “racist.”

For the back story, Red State‘s Bonchie and Mike Ford had two entirely different takes on Trump’s tweets, which you can read here and here.

It’s the day after now, and CNN‘s Brian Stelter has done an “analysis” of sorts on the media’s coverage of Trump’s tweets. In his newsletter this morning, he bragged about how CNN definitively labeled the tweets in question “racist” and chided other news outlets for the unpardonable sin of allowing readers to draw their own conclusions:

Trump’s racist tweetstorm

President Trump launched a bigoted attack against four minority congresswomen on Sunday morning. His tweets were straight up racist. Did the news media accurately describe it that way?

By and large, no, most major news outlets did not do that. Reporters and anchors took the story seriously but largely leaned on “critics,” primarily Democrats, and cited their accusations of racism. The significance of Trump’s words risked being lost in a partisan fog.

He said/she said is a tried and true journalistic technique, of course, but it is insufficient at a time like this. If telling Democratic congresswomen to “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came” isn’t racist, what is?

There were some exceptions — CNN chief among the news outlets — that called out this example of racism emanating from the highest office in the land in an authoritative, institutional voice. CNN’s banners and headlines said “racist rant” and “racist attacks.”

The headline for CNN‘s primary piece on the tweets was: Trump tweets racist attacks at progressive Democratic congresswomen.

The piece published at CNN this morning by Stelter analyzing the story is basically a reposting of all the “points” he made in his newsletter.

Stelter’s nauseating backpatting of himself and his network would be far more impressive if he and the CNN team applied the same standards to Rep. Ilhan Omar‘s and Rep. Rashida Tlaib‘s unquestionably anti-Semitic remarks that they do to offensive comments made by President Trump.

But they don’t.

Take, for example, this piece from early February, where CNN took great pains to carefully explain why Omar and Tlaib say and do the anti-Semitic things they do:

Omar along with Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, the first two Muslim women to serve in Congress, are indeed changing the conversation on Capitol Hill over the United States’ long-standing relationship with Israel by speaking out critically against the Israeli government over its treatment of Palestinians.

As they challenge the political status quo over Israel in Washington, Omar and Tlaib are facing intense scrutiny and criticism, in particular from Republicans eager to exploit divisions in the Democratic Party.

Got that? Omar’s and Tlaib’s anti-Semitic remarks are “indeed changing the conversation” and “challenging the political status quo” on our country’s relationship with Israel, but not in the way that CNN portrays it (the whole piece was like that, by the way).

Here’s another piece from around the same time:

Freshman Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota publicly apologized Monday after she faced backlash for tweets condemned by both sides of the aisle as anti-Semitic.

[…]

Omar’s statement came on the heels of one from House Democratic leadership calling on Omar to apologize for comments they said included “anti-Semitic tropes.”

Note the qualifiers there. “Condemned by both sides of the aisle as anti-Semitic” – but not definitively declared as “anti-Semitic” by CNN. “They said included ‘anti-Semitic tropes’” – but CNN did not characterize them as “anti-Semitic tropes.”

Stelter noted in his Monday newsletter that “he said/she said is a tried and true journalistic technique, of course, but it is insufficient at a time like this” – yet he found the technique sufficient at a time when Omar and Tlaib were spouting off anti-Semitic tropes with regularity, endorsing anti-Semitic movements, and associating with anti-Semitic figures without apology.

If Stelter were an authentic man of his craft, he’d call out his own network’s duplicitous nature when it comes to using qualifiers to describe controversial comments and demand consistent standards across the board. But he’s not.

Stelter’s media firefighter “standards” are designed only to motivate his fellow journalists to move even further to the left in terms of their coverage and commentary of Trump and Republicans. He does not do this out of any sincere altruistic desire to see the national media earn back any of the credibility and respect they’ve lost over the last several years.

Nice try, Mr. Stelter. But some of us see right through you.
