President Trump: Al-Baghdadi “Died Like a Dog” When American Commandos Stormed His Hideout

Yesterday, US Special Operations Forces carried out a raid that resulted in the death of the titular leader is ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. This is President Trump’s press conference on the event.

Big picture here is that regardless of the press release war, there is obviously coordination going on between the US and Russia and Syria and Turkey to eradicate ISIS so that they can get on with the serious business of killing one another.

This raid marks a stark departure from the Obama era of killing everything that moved with drone strikes. I’m not opposed to killing people who need it but you are always better off capturing senior people than killing them. While al-Bagdadi blew himself up, the raid site was exploited. Prisoners were taken. Documents and electronic devices seized. This will lead to a cascade of raids and attacks based on this information.

Strategically, this probably will be seen as the last gasp of ISIS. It was already nearly eradicated. Funding and volunteers were drying up. When al-Baghdadi was killed he was hiding in a city in a hostile area. Hardly the mark of someone who is about to make a comeback. I’ve never been convinced ISIS mattered, but if it once did, it no longer does.

This take by an Obama toadie is just bullsh**. This operation was possible because despite the press’s brainless jihad about Russia, sane people maintained a relationship with them that allowed US overflight to get our assault force in and out. That counts.

The circumstances of al-Baghdadi’s death–described as only Trump can describe things–is not going to help his cause

This, like taking out bin Laden, is a great publicity exercise but probably of limited import. Both al Qaeda and ISIS were on the run and on their last legs when their leaders were taken out. Both of their leaders were isolated and in hiding. They will both limp around for awhile longer but they are a spent force. But the good news about radical Islam is that there is always another transnational terrorist movement in the making, so we’ll be doing this same press conference again in a few years.

President Donald Trump announced a major accomplishment today – the killing of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

From CBS:

Last night, the United States brought the world’s number one terrorist leader to justice,” the president said. “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead.”

The president said he watched much of the raid from the White House Situation Room, alongside the secretary of defense and other top military and national security officials. Mr. Trump said U.S. forces engaged in a firefight and al-Baghdadi fled to a tunnel alongside three of his children. As U.S. operators and K-9 units pursued him in the tunnel, al-Baghdadi detonated a suicide vest, killing himself and the children. Mr. Trump said al-Baghdadi was “whimpering and crying and screaming all the way.”

“Baghdadi and the losers who worked for him, and losers they are, they had no idea what they were getting into. In some cases, they were very frightened puppies,” the president said. “He died like a dog. He died like a coward. The world is now a much safer place. God bless America.”

Trump praised U.S. troops and thanked others in the region who had helped in the effort. There were no human injuries on the American side, but one U.S. military dog was injured.

What a great thing to finally get Baghdadi! And this is after decimating ISIS as a state for which media has never given Trump proper credit.

People should be celebrating and most are. But then there are those who even with such an important event, can’t stop with their efforts to find some way to attack Trump on it. He could cure cancer and they would say he didn’t do it soon enough.

Yup, they’re already there.

My gosh, Harwood just can’t stop digging.

They just can’t leave it go, still pumping that hoax.

Someone want to explain to this guy that Assad is the leader of Syria? And that Putin/Russia have been in Syria for years, with a permanent base there since 2015? Guess who was president then?

Perhaps the worst reaction was that of former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper who suggested that the killing of al-Baghdadi might “galvanize” ISIS. “What is going to be interesting is to the extent to which this negatively affects ISIS or does it galvanize ISIS, the remnants of ISIS,” he said on CNN’s State of the Union. Is he joking? No, he isn’t, he’s freaking out about what’s to come next for him in the Durham investigation. As he should.

Here’s the right way to respond.

Just when you think you have Donald Trump figured out and can put him in a box, he zigs zags and makes you stop and wonder what in the hell is going on. This time it is with people that allegedly he hates and wants them all to die.

Except that he also wants to there shorten prison sentences or eliminate them altogether. That has made Kamal Harris very mad being she put a LOT of people away in her time as a prosecutor in California.

From Fox News

President Trump took a rare swipe at 2020 Democratic hopeful Kamala Harris on Saturday, criticizing the California senator for boycotting a South Carolina criminal justice forum in protest of the group giving an award to him.

“Badly failing presidential candidate @KamalaHarris will not go to a very wonderful largely African American event today because yesterday I received a major award, at the same event, for being able to produce & sign into law major Criminal Justice Reform legislation, which will greatly help the African American community (and all other communities), and which was unable to get done in past administrations despite a tremendous desire for it,” Trump tweeted Saturday morning.

The president’s tweets came after he received the Bipartisan Justice Award from the 20/20 Bipartisan Justice Center for his efforts to pass the First Step Act, which grants early release to thousands of nonviolent offenders who are currently serving time in federal prisons.

Trump has by and large not mentioned Kamala and the other dwarfs running on the Democratic side. He has had a lot of fun picking on Joe and Bernie and the fake Indian and left it at that. However, Kamala who once was considered the shining star of this primary season has never fully recovered from the shot that Tulsi Gabbard landed on her in the Detroit debate about her lock up record.

I will admit that when Trump met with Kim Kardashian about commuting the sentence of a lady that had clearly served way more time than she should have, I thought it was a mere publicity stunt of two reality T.V. stars meeting. That has proven to not be the case.

When Van Jones showed up at CPAC and praised Trump and conservatives for this I knew something positive was happening. Van Jones Praises Conservatives on Criminal Justice Reform: ‘You Are Stealing My Issue’

Kamala probably was thinking that her law & order cred was going to get her major props and so far it has been a dud. Her at first instinct of boycotting this event and trying to look holier than thou does not look like it will work and might not even last a full news cycle. Stunts like this are meant to raise your profile and so far it looks like it has sent her into deeper muck. Now that she has changed her mind she looks even more indecisive.

There are only 99 days left until the Iowa caucuses. Kamala better get in front as many people as possible or her campaign is going to be dead on arrival before next February.

Little Noticed Whistleblower Story from August 2018 Involving ONA Director, Col. James Baker, Takes on Greater Significance in the Wake of Flynn Filing

The amended manual, published on July 22, 2016, also drops wording that equated journalism with spying. (AP Photo/Charles Dharapak, File)

While reviewing reader comments on my recent post about General Michael Flynn’s stunning October 24th court filing, I learned of a largely overlooked story reported in August 2018 by the Daily Caller’s Kerry Picket. It gained little traction at the time, but it’s become far more significant in light of the Flynn filing.

The Flynn filing alleges that Col. James Baker, Director of the Office of Net Assessment at the Pentagon (ONA), leaked copies of the transcripts from Flynn’s December 2016 telephone calls to then-Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak to the press. Baker had regularly scheduled lunches with The Washington Post’s David Ignatius whom published an article about the calls in January 2017.

Picket told the story of Pentagon whistleblower Adam Lovinger, then an ONA analyst and a Trump-supporter, whose security clearance had been revoked  after “he questioned why politically connected contractors like FBI-informant Stefan Halper, who spied on the Trump campaign for the bureau, received well-paid contracts to conduct “inherently governmental functions.”

One contractor hired by ONA , the Long-Term Strategy Group (LTSG), is owned by Chelsea Clinton’s “best friend” Jackie Newmyer-Deal. “Over the past decade, LTSG secured more than $11.2 million in contracts from ONA.”

Picket reports:

Lovinger warned his superiors at ONA about the legal issues specifically pertaining to LTSG’s Newmyer-Deal being designated as a “U.S. Representative” in bilateral foreign relation activities with the Japanese.

In an incident with another ONA contractor (not LTSG), Lovinger disclosed to Baker that the contractor copied a World Bank report onto the contractor’s own letterhead and passed it off as original work.

In August of 2016, Bill Gertz of The Washington Free Beacon wrote a series of pieces related to the ONA’s over-reliance on government contractors and the problems surfacing as a result.

The stories covered how much contractors were paid, the questionable value of their product, critical threats that went ignored, and favorable treatment of Clinton’s contractor friend Newmyer-Deal.

Lovinger’s (Statement of Reason) SOR, which had been prepared by his attorney, Sean Bigley, claimed that Baker “inappropriately incentivized investigators to target him.” The document alleged that Baker “targeted him through several tactics, one of which was recommending two military officers for prestigious military medals as motivation to look into Lovinger as the target of a classified leak probe.”

One investigator, ONA Chief of Staff Cmdr. Anthony Russell (USCG), received a “recommendation for Award of the Defense Superior Service Medal…Russell was the architect of two national security inquiries targeting Lovinger.”

On November 23, 2016, The Washington Free Beacon published an article which criticized the ONA. Lovinger’s SOR stated, “The piece ended up revealing sensitive information provided by the Japanese government which had been included in an LTSG report prepared at the behest of ONA.”

According to Picket:

Russell served as the action officer and primary American representative for the United States/Japan Bilateral Task Force, yet he bore no responsibility to the mishandling of the Japanese intelligence.” In the letter Baker wrote to recommend Russell for the “Defense Superior Service Award,” he wrote that Russell had a “positive impact” on the Japanese/American alliance. Two days later Baker recommended Russell for a command position for having the “highest standards of ethics.”

Lovinger’s security clearance was suspended and job detail canceled nearly a month earlier.

In his recommendation of Russell, Baker wrote, “Commander Russell was entrusted with handling several unique, very delicate personnel matters where he provided thoughtful, sound advice and acted with discretion and candor.” He continues, “His exquisite analysis of facts and balancing of considerations resulted in ideal courses of actions that upheld the highest standards of integrity and ethics.”

Prior to filing his complaint, Lovinger had been in the running for a senior directorship at the National Security Counsel. Russell’s attempts to derail this opportunity caught the eye of Washington Headquarters Service General Counsel James Vietti.

Vietti emailed Russell on January 17, 2017, warning him that his investigation  “could look like you’re trying to interfere with or hinder his advancement in some way—and that the e-mail would be sent after he complained to (I think I’m recalling this correctly) that Mr. Baker violated the Hatch Act.” He wrote that he must “establish that this was—at least at the beginning—an inquiry into specific allegations of misconduct (rather than a ‘go forth and find a justification to fire him’ sort of investigation).” He also advised Russell not to “get ahead of NSC’s possible concerns” of Lovinger and proposed that he “pare back” language in an proposed email that Vietti had reviewed. Russell had written that  he “would urge NSC not to bring on an employee under administrative inquiry right now.”

The other officer whom Baker had allegedly designated to investigate Lovinger was Marine Lt. Col. Brian Bruggeman. Baker issued the request on January 12, 2017 and issued a February 10th deadline, which Bruggeman did not meet.

According to the SOR:

Five days before the report was due, Baker recommended Bruggeman for the “Defense Superior Service Award.”

An e-mail exchange between Feb. 27 and 28 between Bruggeman and Lovinger related to setting up a meeting with one another included Bruggeman telling Lovinger that the meeting was his “last opportunity to cooperate.”

The meeting occurred on March 6, 2017. On March 7, Lovinger’s attorney Thomas Spencer, sent a letter to Bruggeman memorializing the meeting had happened and that Bruggeman had promised to have a written recollection of his questions and answers, since Bruggeman previously forbade any audio recording of the meeting.

Although Lovinger met with Bruggeman and responded to his questions March 6, he was nevertheless accused of “refusing to cooperate” with Bruggeman, “which was tantamount to insubordination,” for failing to appear at previously scheduled interviews on February 21 and 23.

According to Lovinger’s SOR response to Bruggeman’s allegation, however, the delay occurred because Bruggeman “was ignorant of basic due process norms. While the DoD Inspector General requires DoD investigators to ‘possess professional proficiency for the tasks required,’ Bruggeman expressed shock, panic, embarrassment, and then anger when he learned that Lovinger had the right to legal counsel. This caused delay.”

Several days before Picket published this article, on August 20, 2018, watchdog group Judicial Watch filed a FOIA lawsuit against the Department of Defense for documents relating to this case.

A  Judicial Watch document states that Lovinger was already a senior director at the White House National Security Counsel by that time, so at least Baker and Russell’s interference was unsuccessful.

The Washington Times reported on August 14, 2019 that Lovinger had been cleared of the bogus charges against him.

This story illustrates the role a whistleblower’s political persuasion plays in how their complaint will be received. It also provides a glimpse into the character of the man who is alleged to have leaked classified information to his pal, Washington Post report David Ignatius. It tells us that Baker is not above trying to destroy a man’s career for political gain.

Unfortunately, there are many James Bakers.

Exposed: Biden Used his Position at Least Twice to Help Issues Hunter’s Firm Was Lobbying

Westlake Legal Group 17329344-1af8-4a1f-8631-ab65d20076a0-1 Exposed: Biden Used his Position at Least Twice to Help Issues Hunter’s Firm Was Lobbying Ukraine lobbying Joe Biden hunter biden Front Page Stories Front Page Featured Story Featured Post democrats corruption biden Allow Media Exception

Remember how Joe Biden has repeatedly claimed that he didn’t talk to his son Hunter about his business dealings?

Let’s re-rack one of the videos for you.

That of course wasn’t quite true as his son later acknowledged when he said they had a brief conversation about his business in Ukraine. Joe Biden was also seen in a picture on a golfing outing with Devon Archer, Hunter’s business partner.

There have been questions raised in the past about Joe Biden’s actions in relation to his son’s business. He threatened to withhold aid from Ukraine unless they fired a prosecutor who was allegedly investigating his son’s Ukrainian firm. He flew his son on Air Force 2 to China where his son then met with Chinese people in the process of finalizing a business deal. And he was questioned by Tom Brokaw about actions he had taken as a Senator backing policies supportive of MBNA while his son was working for them.

But now the Washington Examiner is raising even more questions about Joe Biden’s actions.

According to the Examiner, Biden intervened on at least two occasions, privately contacting two federal agencies dealing with issues on which his son was lobbying. That intervention could have helped Hunter to the tune of “tens of thousands of dollars.”

On Feb. 28, 2007, Biden contacted DHS to express that he was “concerned about the Department’s proposed chemical security regulations authorized by Section 550 of DHS Appropriations Act of 2007,” according to the department’s log of its contacts with members of Congress.

Section 550, which was passed in 2006 as part of the DHS appropriations bill, requires high-risk chemical plants to submit site safety plans to DHS for approval, including security credentialing and training for employees.

Eight weeks earlier, the Industrial Safety Training Council had hired Hunter Biden’s firm to lobby DHS on the issue. The trade group, which represents companies that provide safety training for chemical facility employees, was mounting a heavy lobbying campaign over section 550, submitting congressional testimony about the need to expand background checks for chemical plant employees.

The Industrial Safety Training Council was seeking to expand the “language in DHS legislation regarding security clearance and credentialing for chemical facility employees and employers” in January 2007, according to lobbying disclosure records.

The Industrial Safety Training Council paid Hunter’s firm, Oldaker, Biden & Belair, $200,000 between 2007 and the end of 2008.

In the second incident in 2007, Joe Biden reached out to the Attorney General at the time, Alberto Gonzales, to talk about expanding the federal fingerprint background check system.

“I write to request your assistance in implementing an expanded background check system for our nation’s volunteer organizations,” wrote Biden. “If we can work together to expand the number of volunteer organizations that have access to fast, accurate, and inexpensive fingerprint background checks, we will make significant and important strides in our ongoing effort to protect kids across our country.”

Biden added, “I would like to convene a small meeting with key representatives” from DOJ, the FBI, members of Congress and volunteer groups.

One of Hunter’s firm’s lobbying clients at the time, a coalition of state-level criminal justice advocates called SEARCH, was also lobbying the federal government for a broader fingerprint screening system at the time.

The same day as Biden’s letter, SEARCH adopted a resolution calling on Congress to consider “any effort to improve the quality, completeness and accessibility of criminal history records” and expand the current system to “allow the return of all criminal history record information maintained by the States on the search subject through a single fingerprint check.”

SEARCH was already paying Hunter’s firm for lobbying for criminal justice programs, paying them $114,000 in 2007. But after Joe Biden introduced a bill in March to establish a national fingerprint background check system for volunteer groups that worked with children, Hunter’s firm began lobbying for the bill and SEARCH paid the firm $93,000 that year.

Tom Anderson, Director of the National Legal and Policy Center, a government watchdog group, called out the appearance of impropriety, saying “it was implausible” that Joe Biden didn’t know about his son’s lobbying and that “sometimes appearances are exactly what they are.”

Indeed it’s hard to imagine Joe Biden just happened to reach out to federal agencies at the same time his son’s firm was lobbying on such issues. It’s the exact same problem that Tom Brokaw asked him about MBNA when Biden was running for president in 2008. What did Joe say then? “My son has never spoken to me”

Astonishing the number of coincidences between Joe Biden’s political actions and Hunter Biden’s business actions. For people who don’t talk.

At what point do the coincidences become too much?

The Harrowing Facts Of Chicago Homicide

=========
=========
Promoted from the diaries by streiff. Promotion does not imply endorsement.
=========
=========

The dire conditions under which black residents live in Chicago seem like an insurmountable problem. Gang violence, drugs, poverty, and a poor educational system are endemic in certain areas, and the city’s Democratic leadership does not seem interested in addressing these issues. Of course, the primary issue in Chicago is arguably the outrageous homicide rate.

Most of the violence is related to gang activity. But Chicago is unique among similarly afflicted cities in that its gang violence problem is not just the result of poverty or cultural issues. One of the worst aspects of these homicides is that very few cases are solved, meaning most of the criminals responsible do not face justice.

While many factors play into the epidemic of gun violence in Chicago, the lack of effective policing is a key culprit. When former Mayor Rahm Emanuel was in office, he enacted reforms to police procedures that made it far more difficult for law enforcement to solve and prevent crime.

In 1991, Chicago’s police department had an arrest rate of 67% in murder cases. In 2018, that number plummeted to a mere 17%. This means that for 83% of homicides, the murderer is getting away with the crime. To put this in perspective, the national arrest rate for murder is 61%.

There can be no question that this dismal arrest rate contributes to the problem. When criminals know that it is unlikely they will ever be arrested or convicted of a crime, they have no reason to obey the law or restrain themselves. Furthermore, the individuals committing these homicides go on to more violent acts.

So why is Chicago’s clearance rate so low? Does it make sense to place the blame on incompetent policing, or is there more to this story?

Former Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s reforms of the police department, along with the progressive policies of his predecessors, have made it nearly impossible for Chicago’s law enforcement officers to do their jobs. And there are more elements to the deadly equation.

One reason detectives find it challenging to solve murder cases is that residents in high-crime areas are hesitant to speak with police. Many in troubled neighborhoods subscribe to an unwritten code that forbids blacks and other minorities to “snitch” or speak to law enforcement.

Another reason people are wary of interacting with law enforcement is the rampant corruption in the CPD. Many residents in Chicago, Baltimore, and other cities don’t trust law enforcement — and for good reasons. The Chicago Police Department (CPD) has had its share of corruption scandals, many of which don’t get much news coverage.

When former officer Jason Van Dyke shot 17-year-old Laquan McDonald 16 times in 2014, then-Mayor Emanuel tried to protect the officer by not releasing the bodycam video documenting the incident. Safeguarding law enforcement officials when they overstep boundaries is viewed very negatively in the minority community. But other corruption corrodes trust, too.

Earlier this year, former officer Ronald Watts was sentenced for various offenses, including framing black residents for crimes they did not commit and running a drug racket. “Watts and his team regularly shook down drug dealers and other residents,” said the judge presiding over the case. “On many occasions, when these residents refused to pay the extortive demands, the Watts crew would fabricate drug charges against them.”

Given the fact that the CPD has a history that reeks of corruption, it is no wonder many residents fear interaction with officers. Afraid of becoming targets, they find it better to avoid law enforcement altogether.

It will likely take drastic reforms to decrease the number of homicides in Chicago and step up action to increase the clearance rate of murders. CPD will gain residents’ cooperation only when its members rebuild trust. This requires true accountability when officers abuse their authority. At the same time, however, it is crucial that police are empowered, unhindered by ineffective or misguided city regulations.

When the CPD demonstrates that it will not tolerate corruption within its ranks and prosecutes it vigorously when uncovered, those in beleaguered neighborhoods may feel reassured to work with law enforcement. The bridge of trust must run both ways.

BREAKING: Reports Say ISIS Leader Al-Baghdadi Has Been Captured or Killed

Not many details, but an operation in Syria has reportedly captured or killed Al-Baghdadi, who is the top leader in ISIS and has been on the run for years.

Rumors started swirling after Donald Trump dropped a cryptic tweet about an hour ago.

Some verified accounts on Twitter started to spread the news of an operation.

Now, we are getting some accounts claiming it is confirmed. You’d think Gilliam would have sources within the SEALs so his information is probably solid.

A major announcement is coming at 9am in the morning from the White House. You’d think it has to be Al-Baghdadi to warrant this kind of pomp and circumstance.

We’ll get final confirmation in the morning. It does appear likely though that the worst terrorist on the planet may have just been captured or killed.

CNN’s Jake Tapper Gets Fact-Checked On Air By Joe Kennedy

Westlake Legal Group jake-tapper-620x349 CNN’s Jake Tapper Gets Fact-Checked On Air By Joe Kennedy sham Senate scif republicans Politics media bias joe kennedy Jake Tapper Intel Committee impeachment Front Page Stories Front Page Fact Check democrats CNN clown bias Allow Media Exception adam schiff

CNN’s Jake Tapper has always held a special place in the hearts of some conservatives. Desperate to feel like part of the club, a certain sect on the right long for his retweets and snarky acceptance. Even when he steps out of bounds, they lay off just to be sure to not burn any precious bridges. Because of this they paint a mythical picture of Tapper just being a straight news guy. Never mind his long history of partisanship or the fact that he’s a Democrat, by golly he’s fair.

Sen. Joe Kennedy was on Tapper’s show yesterday and got a taste of his fairness. It ended in Tapper making a ludicrous claim and getting fact-checked.

The Daily Caller provides some excerpts.

“But the Senate intelligence committee, run by your colleague Republican Senator Richard Burr, also has a great many hearings and depositions completely in private,” Tapper said. “Completely in private.”

“That’s true,” Kennedy nodded. “That’s true.”

“And Democrats are allowed to participate …” Tapper continued.

“That is classified information,” Kennedy interrupted. “They are dealing with classified information.”

“Not everything,” said the CNN anchor.

I want to stop here because you’d think a newsman like Tapper would understand the difference between the Senate Intel Committee, which by definition deals with classified intelligence, and an “impeachment inquiry,” which is political by its very definition. You know what else the Senate Intel Committee doesn’t do? Selectively leak from every interview in order to push a public, partisan narrative.

Tapper might have an argument if Schiff weren’t leaking like a sieve to bolster his political position. The claim that things must be kept secret, even while these leaks occur doesn’t pass the smell test. Has Tapper asked Schiff during one his near hourly CNN hits why it’s acceptable for a 15 page opening statement to end up in the public domain but not the other 10 hours of testimony which contain all the context? Of course he hasn’t.

Eventually, Joe Kennedy would set the record straight.

“Almost all of it is,” said Kennedy. “There is no classified information here.”

The fact that Tapper was even trying to make that line of argument shows how biased he is. The fact is that absolutely nothing Schiff is doing in the SCIF requires secrecy. There is no classified information being exchanged or studied. He’s using the SCIF as a political shield and the media are happy to play along. Trying to compare that to the Senate Intel Committee is just disingenuous on its face.

Tapper was crying last weekend because Republicans were refusing to come on his show. I can’t imagine why they would with this kind of interviewing, right?

Impeachment is literally the attempted removal of a duly elected President from office. There’s a reason the historical precedent is to keep it as transparent as possible, vote on rules, and allow the minority certain powers. What Schiff is perpetrating is a travesty and deserves to be called out, not excused by hacks like Tapper.

Clinton Ally Allegedly Tried to Stop Book About Russia Probe and Dem Involvement

The Clintons have a reputation for not holding back when it comes to people who cross them.

The latest report wouldn’t disabuse you from that belief.

According to a Fox News report, Hillary Clinton adviser Sidney Blumenthal allegedly made legal threats to the publisher of the new book about the Democratic connection to the origins of the Russia probe in an effort to shut the book down.

According to the Fox source, Blumenthal believes that the book, “The Plot Against the President: The True Story of How Congressman Devin Nunes Uncovered the Biggest Political Scandal in U.S. History,” by Lee Smith, is defamatory.

“Blumenthal tried to stop it from being published,” the source told Fox News, saying the Hillary Clinton confidant sent threatening letters to Smith and publisher Center Street, a division of Hachette Book Group.

Blumenthal didn’t respond to Fox.

If Blumenthal is that worked up about it, that’s probably the greatest ad for the book, as well as a good indication that something in the book is probably over the target.

The book delves into the involvement of Democratic operatives behind the unverified anti-Trump Steele dossier. The Clinton campaign and the DNC engaged Perkins Coie to pay Fusion GPS for the information that became the dossier. The dossier, which was opposition research, was then essentially weaponized when it made its way to the FBI and the media and undermined Donald Trump.

According to the source, “the Clinton machine wanted to intimidate Lee,” but it doesn’t sound like he or the publishers are intimidated. The publishers don’t think Blumenthal’s threats hold any merit and they intend to go ahead with the book release, scheduled for Tuesday. Smith, while not discussing whether or not there were any threats, told Fox, “People in the Clinton world are keen for this book not to come out.”

Blumnenthal’s name has been attached to the dossier in the past by former House Intelligence Committee Chair Trey Gowdy according to the Washington Examiner.

“I have seen each factual assertion listed in that dossier, and then I’ve seen the FBI’s justification. And when you’re citing newspaper articles as corroboration for a factual assertion that you have made, you don’t need an FBI agent to go do a Google search,” said Gowdy, a former South Carolina congressman and member of the House Intelligence Committee, in a Fox News interview.

“And when the name Sidney Blumenthal is included as part of your corroboration, and you’re the world’s leading law enforcement agency, you have a problem,” Gowdy said.

Trump Hoses Pelosi Over Impeachment Excrement While Her Home District of San Francisco is Literally Covered in Caca

Have the Democrats forgotten that winning is accomplished via elections, not impeachment?

It seems perhaps so.

They’re mania over ousting Trump through alternative means appears guaranteed to lose them the White House yet again.

It kind of makes me sad — They don’t even seem to be trying anymore.

Trump’s not oblivious to the neglect, and on Saturday, he blasted Speaker of the House Nancy for abandoning, not election and national victory, but her home district of San Franturdo. I mean, San Francisco — sorry, I was thinking of the great city’s poop map.

Anyway, the Tweeter of the Free World had this to say:

“I can’t believe that Nancy Pelosi’s District in San Francisco is in such horrible shape that the City itself is in violation of many sanitary & environmental orders, causing it to owe the Federal Government billions of dollars – and all she works on is Impeachment…..”

He’s not off base.

From my brown-pinned Poop Map article in April:

Move over, Rice-A-Roni; turds are the new San Francisco treat.

Thanks to a permissive attitude toward vagrancy in the land of the Golden Gate, homeless is the new residency and outside is the new toilet.
The city’s employed a Poop Patrol — great job, by the way.

“So, handsome, what do you do for a living?”

“Well, I’ve got my hand in a few things. Mostly, I’m in the business of human-feces shoveling. Wanna go out sometime? I couldn’t help but notice you’re wearing sandals; I’m a good person to paint the town with — I know the areas where you’re least likely to get sh** between your toes.”

Business is booming: Since 2011, 118,352 steaming mounds of San Fran lower-intestinal loveliness have been reported to the authorities.

And…more Trump:

“….We should all work together to clean up these hazardous waste and homeless sites before the whole city rots away. Very bad and dangerous conditions, also severely impacting the Pacific Ocean and water supply. Pelosi must work on this mess and turn her District around!”

Not a bad idea.

Instead, congresspeople across the aisle have got their jerseys on, their undereyes blackened, their helmets down…and they’re waiting on this College Football Saturday…

HUT HUT HUT!

And in the backfield, QB Donald J. Trump.

They’re blitzing with Adam Schiff, the media, and a SanFranciscoLoad of memes.

But they’re really giving the President no competition.

He’s gonna drop back and throw a bomb…to himself.

And it’s Touchdown Alabama — I mean, Republicans — again.

Meanwhile, as San Francisco Mayor London Breed told NBC News last year:

“I will say there is more feces on the sidewalks than I’ve ever seen growing up here. That is a huge problem and we are not just talking about from dogs – we’re talking about from humans.”

“More.”

Yeah, might wanna fix that.

And Roll Tide.
