Thousands Who Underwent Transition Surgery for their Gender Dysphoria Now Want Reversals

A new report by Sky News reveals that those who considered themselves “transgender” and underwent the life-altering surgeries that allow you to “transition” from one sex to another are now seeking reversals for said surgeries by the hundreds.

The report came in the form of a video that featured an anonymous girl identified only as “Ruby” who made the decision to identify as a man back when she was 13-years-old. Now she’s 21 and has decided that the alterations she had made to her body through chemicals haven’t made her any better.

“Ruby” is now de-transitioning to fully embrace her female body and instead work on her mental issues. Sadly, she confessed that there has been virtually zero support for this decision within her community.

But according to Sky News, the community is out there. In fact, a former transgendered person, Charlie Evans, came across a community of 5,000 people who wished to de-transition back into their normal selves.

In fact, Evans noticed a pattern.

“I’m in communication with 19 and 20-year-olds who have had full gender reassignment surgery who wish they hadn’t, and their dysphoria hasn’t been relieved, they don’t feel better for it,” said Evans, ”I think some of the common characteristics are that they tend to be around their mid-20s, they’re mostly female and mostly same-sex attracted, and often autistic as well.”

“They don’t know what their options are now,” she added.

Evans has now started the “The Detransition Advocacy Network” to support people like herself and Ruby.

While this is considered to be new news by the mainstream media, the truth is that it’s something that has been happening for some time.

A year ago, I reported that scientific research had been attempted at trying to see what the repercussions were of transition surgeries after one surgeon who specialized in these things had become overwhelmed with requests from post-op transgendered individuals to put them back to the way they were before the surgeries.

A researcher named James Caspian approached a University to get funding for these studies, and after being approved, he found his approval quickly revoked as the ethics board of the University fared backlash by the transgender activist community.

(READ: Scientists Can’t Research Surge In Regrets Over Transgender Surgeries Due To Fears Of Backlash From LGBT Community)

Since this report was released last year, one can only fathom how many people have come to the same conclusion as Ruby, yet no one is allowed to talk about it in an official capacity over fears of social and political backlash. This is tragic when you think about all the people that are being hurt by the lie that cutting your body up will make you feel so much better.

As has been seen repeatedly by researchers, it doesn’t.

Having gender dysphoria already carries with it an abnormally high suicide rate that increases 19 times after transition surgeries.

Research needs to be done and these people need to find help, not more lies.

The RedState Box Office Report – Laughing at the Competition

Westlake Legal Group Joker-Poster The RedState Box Office Report – Laughing at the Competition Warner Brothers The Joker Popular Culture Movies Hollywood Front Page Stories Featured Story Entertainment box office report box office Allow Media Exception

Juaquin Phoenix and Todd Phillips make a joke of the competition.

For months there has been outrage leveled towards the new version of the presentation of the character of The Joker, compared to the less new version seen in “Suicide Squad”, and that seen in “The Dark Knight”. For some reason a character prone to violence and murder was not considered an offensive threat previously, but NOW…!

Despite all of the outrage, or because of it, the film was a smash and set some new records. Long expected to be a hit things became more impressive as the weekend went along. There was a spillover benefit for the holdovers as well, as the rest of the top-5 titles had drops of less than -50%. The crowds seem motivated to hit the theaters if there is something approximating quality offered on screen.

1. JOKER – $93.5 Million
A very impressive opener that may climb even higher once the actuals are reported on Monday afternoon. The original projections were something of a moving target, looking anywhere between $50-70 million for the weekend. Reasons for the inexactitude was how much the controversy may have tamped interest, whether reports about people walking out in anger were accurate (they were not), and there were reported security concerns at theaters. All of that proved to be overblown. Records fell as this effort topped previous October records set by “Venom”, including biggest debut, biggest global opening ($234 million – $207 million) and largest Thursday preview total – $13.3 million. This delivered as well the biggest openings for all concerned, including topping director Todd Phillips’ “Hangover 2” opening of $85.9 million. Though there are a number of new arrivals next weekend none appear to be in direct competition, so the drop off should be minimized.

2. ABOMINABLE – $12.0m
Last week’s top film did not drop too deeply, with a decent hold of -42%. The Universal/Dreamworks animated venture is doing respectable business if not impressive, and so far the global returns have been matching those of North America. Overall there should be a profit realized once the complete run is finished.

3. DOWNTON ABBEY – $8.0m
The conversion of the famed British TV drama to the big screen is continuing to draw a passionate audience. It has taken in almost $75 million after three weekends.

4. HUSTLERS – $6.3m
Another crime-centric film that curiously has not generated any of the concern over inspiring copycat crimes, and it too has been popular. It is a surprise that this one is approaching the $100 million plateau.

5. IT: CHAPTER TWO – $5.35m
Still a top-5 film after 5 weeks it has crossed over the $200 million mark with this return.

6. AD ASTRA – $4.55m
Just as “Abominable” echoes another animated snowman film “Smallfoot” from last year, so too does this space opera mimic last fall’s “First Man”, both in its astral content and in it coming in with an underperformance with little attraction from the awards season crowd.

7. JUDY – $4.45m
The Judy Garland biopic added 1,000 screens as it is attempting to platform its release and create some awards buzz, particularly for Renee Zellweger.

8. RAMBO LAST BLOOD – $3.55m
Taking a steeper -59% drop here in week-3 as it sheds over 700 screens. While it is still pacing slightly better than the last “Rambo film that was 11 years ago, and this one opened on almost 1,000 more screens.

9. WAR – $1.58m
A Bollywood action piece that climbs into the top ten in a top-heavy list where a number of older holdovers had large drops of theaters allowing for it to creep up.

10. GOOD BOYS – $800,000
A sign of how large the business was at the top of this weekend, this title takes the last spot with under one million earned.

Trump Is Correct on Net Neutrality Court Win – But That Wasn’t the Whole Ruling

President Donald Trump early Monday morning Tweeted:

“We just WON the big court case on Net Neutrality Rules! A great win for the future and speed of the internet. Will lead to many big things including 5G. Congratulations to the FCC and its Chairman, Ajit Pai!”

All of which is absolutely correct.

The US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit did in fact rule the Trump Administration’s decision to undo the Barack Obama Administration’s unilateral, illegal imposition of the ridiculous Network Neutrality – was Constitutional and legal.

The courts upholding the Trump Administration restoring order – after lawless Obama Administration illegal, unilateral power grabs – is by no means a fait d’acomppli.

Appeals Court Upholds Block on Trump’s Attempt to End DACA

The Obama Administration – under its unilateral, illegal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) – declared ill-defined, amorphous amnesty from prosecution for millions of illegal aliens.

Somehow, multiple clowns in gowns have ruled the Trump Administration’s attempt to revert to immigration law actually passed by our elected Congress – is illegal.  The courts – are thereby codifying the Obama Administration’s lawlessness.

So we are thankful for the DC Circuit’s excellent tether to Constitutional sanity with its Net Neutrality rollback ruling.

Most unfortunately, the Court left open a hole huge enough for a Leftist caravan to roll on through:

“The federal appeals court’s decision upheld the FCC’s reclassification of broadband Internet access service as an information service, rather than as a telecommunications service, but argued that states can pass their own net neutrality legislation.”

Emphasis ours – because that is a TERRIBLE ruling:

“This…(is) a clear violation of the (Constitution’s) Commerce Clause:

‘[The Congress shall have Power] To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes.’

“The Commerce Clause was – like all of the Constitution – a government-limiting entry. It was written to prevent states from big-government-imposing barriers to interstate commerce.

“How to Understand the Commerce Clause in One Simple Sentence:

“‘Congress has the authority to regulate trade between the states; or in other words, the process of goods and services moving from one state to another. Not the products themselves. Not the process of creating those products. Just the act of the products moving from state to state. That’s it.’

“Get that eminent simplicity?

“Let us…focus on the ‘trade between the states…(and) the process of goods and services moving from one state to another.’

“Bits on the Internet – criss-cross state and international borders hundreds of millions of times a second.

“To think that a single U.S. state here or there has the prerogative to regulate something that is so obviously a Commerce-Clause-federal-responsibility – is warped, ideological nonsense.

“It violates both the letter and the spirit of the deregulatory Commerce Clause.

“Because it exponentially grows government.”

Indeed it does.  To trained lawyers appointed as judges – all of this should be quite obvious:

“(T)he WORLD Wide Web is clearly a federal government issue.  The Feds determine our nation’s Internet policy.  And then The Feds negotiate Internet interactions with other nations.”

The federal government cannot successfully do that – if its policy is incessantly being exceeded or undercut by a state here or there.

State-by-State Net Neutrality Laws Breakdown:

“More than half of states in America are opposing the FCC’s ‘Internet Freedom’ bill with local Net Neutrality state laws.”

Washington Governor Signs First State Net Neutrality Bill

California’s Net Neutrality Bill Is Back and as Tough as Ever:

“‘This will be the most comprehensive and the strongest net neutrality protection in the United States, where we are restoring what we lost when Donald Trump’s FCC obliterated net neutrality,’ (Democrat state Senator Scott) Wiener told reporters….”

So the DC Circuit Court’s ruling – undercuts its ruling.

Their Honors ruled the Trump Administration can restore order – until the many states destroy order.

Internet Service Providers (ISPs) – will be forced to deal with an insane patchwork quilt of fifty different Net Neutrality regulatory regimes.

Complying with this nightmare mess – is going to cost ISPs a LOT of time and money.

Time and money I’d rather them spend – on increasing speeds and decreasing prices.

The federal government will have to take this titanic mishmash of fifty-state-regime Brunswick Stew (a dish famous for containing any and everything).  And try to cobble together a semi-coherent federal policy.  So as to try to incorporate our Internet – with the rest of the planet’s Internet.

Are you familiar with the expression…?

A Camel Is a Horse Designed by a Committee:

“An expression critical of committees – or by analogy, group decision-making – by emphasizing the ineffectiveness of incorporating too many conflicting opinions into a single project through compromise.

“In this figure of speech, the distinguishing features of a camel, such as its humps and poor temperament, are taken to be the deformities that resulted from its poor design.”

Imagine a REALLY surly camel – with fifty different humps.

That will be US Internet policy.

An incoherent mess.  Caused by federal officials having to constantly look over their shoulders for fifty different, often shifting Net Neutrality regulatory mandates.

Rather than looking forward – at how to best situate US in the global Internet regime.

This ain’t great for our nation.

This ain’t in compliance with the Constitution’s Commerce Clause.

The latter, of course – guarantees the former.

Because, as always – the further we get from Constitutional compliance…the worse things get for us all.

Review: “Joker” Is a Superb Movie that I Never Want to See Again

Westlake Legal Group 47c69db8-37bc-47b0-9c35-b7143966ca86-620x317 Review: “Joker” Is a Superb Movie that I Never Want to See Again Todd Phillips psychological horror Movies Joker Joaquin Phoenix Hollywood Front Page Stories Featured Story Entertainment Culture comics batman Allow Media Exception

Before I get started, I should note that this review will feature some spoilers. I comfortably do this because I know there are a lot of you that are curious about the movie but have zero intention to go see it. That said, I’m going to try very hard to keep the spoilers light regardless.

I had the chance to see Joker over the weekend, and like everyone else, I went in with some expectations. I wasn’t at all thinking I was going in to see an action-packed thrill ride of psychopathic crime thanks to everyone’s favorite killer clown, and instead thought that I’d see something of a story about a mentally disturbed individual from the perspective of a highly unreliable narrator.

I got exactly what I thought I was going to get, I just didn’t think I’d get that story so well done, or done so oppressively.

Joker is a story about a mentally ill man named Arthur Fleck who lives in fictional Gotham City. Over the course of the movie, you watch one mind breaking thing after another happen to Fleck, and slowly watch as it transforms him into one of the greatest villains of all time.

And these mind breaking things happen often. Director Todd Phillips does such an excellent job of making everything in Fleck’s life so oppressive that you as an audience member feel it too.

For instance, from the get-go, you get a real sense of how horrible Fleck’s life is. He’s a meek man suffering from mental issues. He sees a state-provided therapist that provides him with numerous medications. He works as a clown for an agency that has him dancing in hospitals for children or sign twirling outside a business. He lives with his mother, who is also mentally ill, in a dingy apartment in the bad part of town.

The audience is presented with all of this and then invited to watch as this man’s already horrid life collapses around him with one horrible event after another ranging from being robbed and beaten up to having his very identity stripped from him.

I keep using the word “oppressive” to describe the story, and I’m doing this intentionally. The story is oppressive. You never get the sense that things are going to get better and even the positive things in the story are really just a further look into how Fleck attempts to bend his perception of his own reality in order to help him cope.

For many movie-goers, this may be a bit much. In fact, there have been reports of people walking out of the movie due to its disturbing nature, and I can’t blame them. The movie is disturbing, but not in a “watch as a horror movie villain carves up teens with a chainsaw” kind of disturbing.

It’s disturbing because you watch as a man who clearly needs help is not only abandoned in various ways but is continuously beaten down both figuratively and very literally. This happens in the very dingy, grey, and dirty city of Gotham — a villain on its own — where the rampant crime is illuminated by dim fluorescent lighting. Almost every line of dialogue adds to the pressuring darkness you feel as it’s coming from the lips of an individual who is mentally ill, or some person who is only out for himself and willing to use people selfishly for their own gain.

Joker is not a horror movie, but you do feel a sense of horror watching it.

But the performances and directing within the movie are so good that this horrific oppression rides a knife’s edge that keeps it from falling into becoming overwhelmingly disturbing on one side, and too dismal on the other. Joaquin Pheonix’s portrayal of Fleck is so perfect that I’m actually worried that his method acting will have damaged him psychologically. Phillips’ ability to tell the story of a disturbed man’s life in the middle of a city during an ongoing class war is so well balanced that I’m pretty sure it’s going to be studied for years to come.

Plus, everyone will get to see the big payoff of the emergence of the Joker, and Phillips is fantastically faithful to the character while he and Phoenix make it their own.

There’s something about the Joker that has fascinated people for decades. He’s a macabre and purely evil character who continuously defies explanation. He’s a murderer who appears psychotic and goofy on the outside but is consistently revealed to be something of a genius. He’s always five steps ahead of everyone else thanks, in part, to his ability to understand the darker side of human nature better than anyone else, including Batman.

What’s more, you’re not really sure who he is or what happened to him in his past to make him that way. Joker’s origin story has always been something of a mystery, and there have been various tellings of it. Christopher Nolan’s Batman movies even paid homage to this as Heath Ledger’s Joker would tell differing stories about how he got his scars.

Like Nolan before him, Phillips lifted this idea from one of the most popular Joker comic stories of all time, “The Killing Joke.” In this classic Batman vs. Joker storyline, the Joker is trying to break Commissioner Gordon mentally and turn him into another Joker in order to prove to Batman that everyone is “the Joker” and all that separates them from becoming him is “one bad day.”

Within this legendary monologue, Joker mentions that he doesn’t quite recall his own past. Sometimes he remembers it one way, sometimes another, and that if he’s going to have an origin story he prefers it to be multiple choice.

You can watch the video below for an abridged version of that speech.

Phillips continues this tradition through multiple means, and you’re taught that the stories Fleck is told from others about his past are not only untrustworthy, but the events from Fleck’s own mind are especially not to be relied on.

You’re let in early on that Fleck is prone to delusion. He creates scenarios in his head where he’s accepted and admired, especially from his hero, late-night show host Murray Franklin (DeNiro). This kind of overt daydreaming isn’t seen again, but as the movie progresses, it’s shown that Fleck is still doing this, but in ways more integrated into his world.

This begins to make you question everything you’ve seen, be it the outcomes of simple physical confrontations or conversations he’s had with people. You’re forced to piece together what did and didn’t happen within the movie as the credits roll. You may even question whether the entire movie actually happened by the time of the final scene.

It can be a bit maddening.

But this is the Joker, and that’s the point.

It actually works. You remember that despite the gritty realism, you did just watch a movie from the perspective of one of the most maniacal and fantastical characters in human literature. You leave the theatre with so many questions but having those questions only spurs your enjoyment of the movie, not hinder it.

You’re satisfied by the end despite all the dangling loose ends and possibly even because of them. What’s more, you don’t even walk away feeling bad for not sympathizing with Fleck. Unlike most villain focused movies where Hollywood tries to paint them as misunderstood or gives them justifiable reasons for their evil, you’re invited to hate Fleck free of guilt.

He’s definitely evil, and he’s also possibly been lying to you this entire time in order to play with your mind…because that’s what the Joker does.

This movie is so well done and will quite possibly go down as one of the greatest achievements in cinema history. I’ll talk glowingly about it every time it comes up in conversation.

That said, I’m not sure I want to see it again. While it was fascinating, I would rather keep it at arm’s length. It’s a movie that can exhaust you. It causes you to feel psychological and emotional discomfort. There’s never a moment where this oppression lets up, even when you see the “snap” moment when Fleck fully realizes himself as the Joker. It weighs on you well into the credits and as you walk out of the theatre doors. It follows you home while you drive in your car.

While this is a masterful piece of storytelling and acting that I can’t recommend seeing enough, it’s an experience I only want to have once.

Looks like Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) can no longer deny her marital situation.

It’s now being reported that she has filed for divorce from her present husband, Ahmed Hirsi.

She’d previously denied that they were separated amidst accusations that she was having an affair.

Earlier in the year, the wife of Democratic political consultant Tim Mynett accused her husband of having an affair with Omar in court filings pertaining to the couple’s divorce. Mynett filed a response, denying that he’d told his wife he was leaving her for Omar.

As the Washington Examiner observes:

The allegation of the affair brought added scrutiny to Omar’s own marriage. She has faced repeated questions over her marital history after allegations surfaced that she married her brother and committed immigration fraud.

The freshman congresswoman married Hirsi in 2002 during a faith ceremony but did not legally marry until years later. Omar and Hirsi had two children before they separated in 2008. The next year, Omar legally married Ahmed Nur Said Elmi. The two split in 2011, the same year Omar and Hirsi reconciled, but did not legally divorce until 2017. Meanwhile, Omar and Hirsi had a third child in 2012 and legally married in early 2018.

Omar, 37, has denied that she was in a relationship with anyone else. When asked in August whether she had separated from Hirsi or was dating anyone else, Omar said, “No I am not.”

Omar’s relationship with Mynett, her political consultant, has also faced scrutiny because of campaign finance rules.

From Fox News:

The conservative, Virginia-based National Legal and Policy Center filed a complaint against Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on Wednesday, alleging that the lawmaker used campaign funds to illegally reimburse her purported paramour for personal travel expenses.

The complaint also charges that Omar failed to itemize travel reimbursements as required by the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 — and that the travel expenses increased during the same month that Omar’s alleged affair with married Washington, D.C. political consultant Tim Mynett, 38, heated up. ….

Omar’s campaign has paid Mynett’s E. Street Group, LLC around $230,000 for fundraising consulting, digital communications, Internet advertising and travel expenses since 2018, federal election records indicate. Most of those payments occurred after Election Day last year.

Omar’s legal people denied that there had been anything illegal or improper about the expenditures.

Minnesota campaign finance officials found in June that Omar had violated state campaign finance rules when she used campaign funds to pay for personal out-of-state travel. They ordered her to reimburse $3500 and fined her $500. Omar has also faced questions about allegedly filing joint tax returns with her present husband, Ahmed Hirsi, while still reportedly legally married to her past husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi.

President Donald J. Trump talks with reporters along the driveway of the South Lawn of the White House Tuesday, June 18, 2019, prior to beginning his trip to Orlando, Fla. (Official White House Photo by Joyce N. Boghosian)

It took nailing Rep. Adam Schiff as a liar in the whistleblower fracas for people to finally begin to talk very frankly about the role the intelligence community has played in all nonsense accusations levied against the Trump administration throughout its entire first term.

When it became clear there was strange business associated with the Russia collusion investigation into the Trump campaign, there were of course IC connections mentioned and wondered about. The prominence of former FBI Director Jim Comey in questions regarding fraudulently obtained FISA warrants, and the extreme partisanship of FBI Agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, as well as Christopher Steele’s former relationship as an FBI source, all pointed a finger at the IC.

The latest salvo, according to a now-infamous New York Times report, involving a highly suspicious “whistleblower” who was apparently affiliated with the CIA and may have worked directly with Schiff on crafting his quid pro quo accusations, points that finger even harder.

And, as a result, Trump supporters and the man himself are feeling more comfortable than even calling these efforts what they believe them to be: a frame job by the intelligence community.

Let that sink in. The President of the United States — and for increasingly valid reasons — is saying that the intelligence community under his predecessor framed him as a treason colluder.

All of this would indicate that the investigation into the origin of Russia collusion is nearing an end and it’s not looking great for Democrats and the legacy employees of that same IC.

So they’ve gone back to their old playbook of feeding information to gullible members of the media to trot out rambling explanations of weird conspiracy theories, crafted from actual pieces of the story but that no one has ever even heard of or alleged has happened. Check out this guy on Morning Joe:

“[The] goal of it is to say — just bear with me here — that the DNC hacked itself, so just in case, in 2019, if Donald Trump got elected in 2019, they could impeach him. That’s the premise of this conspiracy theory.”

Is it? I gotta be honest…and this guy does mention Redstate and I may be about to have some egg on my face here…has anyone been suggesting the DNC hacked itself as an insurance policy (to coin a phrase) in case Donald Trump was elected?

That’s the first I’ve heard of it. And if this guy is introducing some crazy narrative into the news cycle that no one’s ever even heard of before, then that’s all hands on deck, cover your behind, meltdown.

Also known as business as usual for the media.

Whatever the case may be, Trump’s willingness to lob an accusation as crystal clear as the IC framed him has the Democrat playbook looking a little weak. Their defense has always been better than the Republican offense. But that seems to have changed in the age of Trump.

Antifa members seem often to not face consequences for their actions. They might get arrested but then, often, seem to have charges dismissed.

But not this time.

According to the NY Daily News, David Campbell, 32, was originally charged with assault for strangulation, possession of a weapon, assault of a police officer, resisting arrest and loitering after attacking a 56 year old man outside of a “Night for Freedom” event in Manhattan thrown by Mike Cernovich on January 20, 2018.

Campbell was one of about eighty Antifa people agitating outside the event.

Cops said the black-clad attacker punched and choked the man.

“I saw him hit the old man,” said witness Ali Thomas, 24. “One hit. He swung hard. He hit him hard. The old man’s head hit the curb.”

The 911 caller said initially that the 56-year-old was in cardiac arrest after the fight, according to fire officials. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, officials noted.

This past week, according to the New York Post, Campbell pled guilty to two counts of felony assault and will be sentenced to 18 months according to the District Attorney’s office.

“When Antifa attacked a 56-year-old man, silence from the press,” Cernovich told The Post.

“Now that the criminal case is closed, I will also be taking legal action against Mr. Campbell and his confederates. It is time to find out who is funding Antifa,” he said.

Media has often failed to cover Antifa violence or painted them with a favorable brush, buying completely the idea that they are “fighting fascism” while minimizing their violence and ignoring their radical philosophy.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo, for example, has compared Antifa to the U.S. military storming the beaches at Normandy. While Cuomo has said he does not justify violence, he has claimed they have a “good cause,” painting their violence as a bug rather than as a feature.

His colleague, Don Lemon, has also spoken favorably of Antifa, while saying that no one supports violence, has claimed they were fighting fascism and “no organization is perfect.”

Apart from coverage by local and conservative media, the plea doesn’t appear to have gotten attention. A search didn’t seem show any coverage by CNN of Campbell pleading guilty.

Hunter Biden Apparently Gets Around, Caught Doing Shady Deals In Yet Another Country

It’s amazing how a guy with zero experience in certain fields kept getting jobs in certain fields. And I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that his father was conducting foreign policy in the same places, right? But don’t ask questions, because Chuck Todd might have an aneurysm.

We’ve already heard about Hunter Biden’s lucrative dealings in Ukraine. Then there was the bribery scheme in China involving a guy under indictment. Now, we are finding out that he advised a guy headed to prison in Romania.

In other words, Biden likely broke the law here by even being involved with this dealing in Romania. He was not registered as a foreign agent and he was clearly operating as an advisor to foreigners. Of course, nothing will happen to him because FARA laws only apply to Trump associates.

At the same time Hunter was doing this, Joe was involved in at least articulating foreign policy in the region. The smell of selling influence is strong. There’s no reason Hunter would have otherwise been getting all these gigs if the people involved didn’t think he it could help their case. The most damning explanation is that they felt he could sway his father, consciously or through indirect suggestion, to change their situations. The more tame explanation is that they thought simply having Hunter around would provide a buffer between them and prosecutors, i.e. the idea that Joe Biden would protect his son. Neither is particularly good.

But who gave this information to Vogel? I have a pretty good idea.

John Kerry’s son is front and center here. The article reads like him trying to get out in front of any accusations of bad dealings on his part. He’s basically throwing Hunter under the bus. Also, remember that the media rushed to accuse Rudy Guiliani of corruption for meeting in Romania earlier in the year. Anyone think they’ll suddenly forget where Romania is on the map? I’m going to guess so.

What all this does do, regardless of how bad it actually is, is continue to bloody Biden. Trump has successfully hung all this around his neck and because so many in the media adore Elizabeth Warren, they are starting to take the chance to put Biden out to pasture. While he continues to dominate in South Carolina, he looks to lose the first three primaries and that’s a terrible position to be in.

Watch: Dan Crenshaw Slams the Green New Deal as Useless Socialist Garbage

Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw went on Candace Owens podcast to discuss a myriad of topics and among them was New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her laughably unrealistic Green New Deal.

Crenshaw noted that in the military, they have a saying: “Work smarter not harder.” According to Crenshaw, it’s advice that AOC could use when it comes to her proposed legislation to save the planet. He noted that the idea of climate change is actually a pretty accepted idea throughout the populace, but the extent and the cause are certainly up for debate. Specifically, how much man has to do with it.

“We actually all care about the environment, and most people believe in climate change and believe that mankind has something to do with that — how much is scientifically debatable, but there is some effect and we all have an interest in reducing carbon emissions, just having cleaner air, cleaner oceans. It’s something we can get behind,” said Crenshaw. “Young people especially — conservatives and liberals alike really want to hear that message.”

Crenshaw went on to tell Owens that the Green New Deal is really just a delivery system for socialism and, in reality, is a serious solution to environmental healing at all.

“The Green New Deal fundamentally destroys our economy and does a lot of other weird stuff, too,” Crenshaw said. “Basically it’s just a wish list of socialist utopias, as was admitted by [Ocasio-Cortez’s former Chief of Staff Saikat Chakrabarti]. But fundamentally, it is a dogmatic approach to environmentalism, which is solar and wind.”

“Everything has to be solar and wind, there can’t be anything else, including nuclear,” Crenshaw continued. “When you start banning nuclear, that’s how you know they’re not serious about climate change.”

Crenshaw made it clear that Republicans should propose a response of their own and has an idea on how to start.

“Our approach has to be a common-sense approach,” Crenshaw said. “It has to be developing newer, cleaner technology that helps our economy and also helps the world. This is the way that I like to phrase it: we want to focus on 100% of the problem, and you can only focus on 100% of global emissions if you have technology that is exportable, clean, reliable, and cheap.”

Crenshaw made it clear, however, that Democrats just focusing on eliminating 100 percent of American’s emissions will do nothing, as America is only contributing 15 percent of the global emissions. Destroying the economy to eliminate less than a quarter of the earth’s emissions, said Crenshaw, will do nothing.
