Mitch McConnell’s Democratic Challenger Says He “Ripped Up The Constitution, Essentially” In Killing Merrick Garland’s Nomination

A black man in the white house realized he was surrounded by the Russian KKK, and every thing he would do or try to do would get blasted through the media to high heaven. Looking back, no wonder the guys hair went as white as the republicans. That poor mother fucker realized that in no way was America ready for a black man to tell them that the old white man was fucking them. Lol at the fact that they controlled the news, even more so at the fact that the very same message had to be delivered to white folk on the end of that news, and any changes he would even try would get shut down.

Imagine what we know now about the Whitehouse to be true now at this time, factor in the amount of bullshit that probably happens behind closed doors.

Obama’s mistake was in thinking republicans had a shred of decency left. Trump continues to prove they would rather scrape that barrel, than be a decent human being.

America is long over due an overhaul. Time to show the white nationals that it doesn’t matter if they are the president or a random pipe bomber, they are the minority. They belong in cages until they want to be human.

Sen. Ron Wyden Tears Into Trump Intelligence Chief Pick as ‘Least Qualified Individual Ever Nominated’

The president reportedly liked the way Ratcliffe questioned former Special Counsel Robert Mueller during his testimony before Congress last week.

In an interview with Politico on Monday, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) described Ratcliffe as “a television character that the president has watched on TV.”

Dovetails very nicely with his lack of qualifications. Why nominate someone so unqualified? Because he was “good” on TV.

That’s for Director of National Intelligence, the most senior intelligence posting there is, overseeing a complex apparatus of 17 separate intelligence agencies.

And this nitwit intends to “clean house”, purging that apparatus of everything the president dislikes… Which includes everything about Russia and our election security.

This is immensely dangerous in times whose danger cannot be understated or fully appreciated (by all but few people, like Dan Coats).

Current and former officials say Trump’s pick for spy chief would be ‘an arm of the White House’ who could paralyze the intelligence community

Westlake Legal Group jyTBghdZ-ecmmwP2eYtDw3Mqe-gQg1IMOokugjsOxxw Current and former officials say Trump's pick for spy chief would be 'an arm of the White House' who could paralyze the intelligence community r/politics

This is exactly what people have been saying: of all of Donald Trump’s traits that make him dramatically unfit for the Presidency (and for any leadership position whatsoever) – and there are a great many – his narcissism is by far and away the most terrifying.

As a narcissist, he considers himself to be the pinnacle of human thought and experience on literally every topic. He cannot comprehend the need for outside education or information – nothing that anybody else could tell him about any subject could possibly match the instinct that his gut provides. The point of having people in his orbit is not to provide him with information and advice: it is to soothe his ego. Psychologists call this “Narcissistic Supply” or sometimes just “Narcissist Fuel.”

Narcissists are, generally speaking, hyper-compensating for deeply buried and repressed feelings of inadequacy; because of this, they require constant reassurance of their genius and perfection. Thus the Narcissistic Supply is almost-literal fuel for their psyche. Without it, their psyches collapse and they lash out uncontrollably as their fragile egos can’t handle it. Anything perceived as threatening or challenging them is considered as such.

A President of the United States is not expected to know everything; they are instead surrounded by the top people in various fields of diplomacy, statecraft, intelligence gathering, military strategy, etc., and expected to be able to assess the information being provided as part of the process of making important decisions. Narcissists are fundamentally incapable of this, because anything that challenges their worldview is considered an attack on their perfection, and thus, an attack on them. Such disloyalty cannot, in their minds, be tolerated.

Eventually an administration run by a narcissist – and Trump is as pure a case of NPD as you will ever find – will devolve into a cadre of yes-men telling the narcissist that everything they’re doing is perfect even as the world burns around them. Foreign leaders can manipulate the narcissist with ease, by flattering their egos and planting the seeds for destructive ideas in their heads. Putin, who spent decades with the KGB, knows this game well, and has played him like a fiddle; as such, the Intelligence Community folks who tell Trump no, that Putin is not his friend, that he’s an adversary to the US and a menace to the West, are contradicting his gut. At best, they’re not providing him fuel, and at worst, they’re doing active Narcissistic Injury which will result in them being kicked to the curb and replaced with someone more “loyal” – exactly what we’re seeing here. This firing-and-replacement nullifies the entire IC by reducing them to the status of shouting into an empty room. Which is terrifying.

Trump’s racism is an impeachable offense. The precedent of Andrew Johnson proves it.

Westlake Legal Group XZXa2usZq4xaZ0IHjSzAasvttdBsjoKXLlIKOjckjwE Trump's racism is an impeachable offense. The precedent of Andrew Johnson proves it. r/politics

Great point. Use the evidence that’s there. Don’s lawyers don’t set the time table for congress doing anything. If the political will was there, Trump would be getting impeached tomorrow.

Unfortunately, in the general public There seems to be a public assumption that impeachment and the results of impeachment are some sort of judicial process. I mean, I guess since it’s going through the institutions that create laws, it’s easy to be confused, but impeachment is not officially part of the judicial branch… even though the Chief Justice would preside over a senate trial!

Ultimately, it’s simply the process to set the stage and lay out the evidence of perceived crimes of a politician. Still, it’s up to Senate, and the Senate only, to deem any of it worthy of unseating a POTUS.

The likelihood of the GOP Senate, even with undeniable Proof of Donald being bribed by Russian agents, removing him from office is a pipe dream.

However, sometimes you have to stand on principle. IMHO, the House should impeach Donald on principle, knowing it will fail in the Senate.

What Donald’s lawyers cry about is irrelevant. He and his legal team can do nothing to stop it.

Border Patrol Detained a 9-Year-Old American Girl on Her Way to School for 32 Hours — It didn’t matter that she had her U.S. passport with her.

Westlake Legal Group GMJWkrVDI5A5Mu7OmZbpXzR5N1d8uiMA-FZSoF3cF7Y Border Patrol Detained a 9-Year-Old American Girl on Her Way to School for 32 Hours — It didn't matter that she had her U.S. passport with her. r/politics

And people on the right say “Well, this will only affect illegal immigrants. If you don’t want to be detained, just don’t cross the border illegally.”

This girl is an American citizen and was crossing the border legally. She had all her documents with her. CBP just decided that the passport was fake, detained her and get brother, tried to force her brother to “confess” to crimes, and only released her when the Mexican consulate got involved. Without that involvement, who knows what would have happened to her and her brother. They might have been deported to somewhere in Mexico that they’d never been before. They might have “disappeared” into the detention camps (aka “Totally Not Concentration Camps”). Who knows.

I’d like someone in the right to point out just what this girl and her brother could have done differently to not be detained illegally. Because all I’m seeing are border guards that can decide that valid passports aren’t valid and US citizens don’t have their rights anymore. What happened to the right fearing that the government would do just this?
