‘Serving under Trump is embarrassing’: Fifth Republican congressman retires in just two weeks as GOP fears more exits

Alabama boi here. Jeff Sessions returned to Alabama as a traitor in the eyes of the state just because he recused himself and trump complained about it.

Im not saying he isnt a traitor mind you, he is and he’s going straight to hell. But obviously recusing himself from the russia investigation isn’t the reason.

I think these folks are too cowardly to come out against the president and then return home to face an angry mob of the uneducated and indoctrinated.

My representative is among the recent retiree’s. She’s young too. Very unusual to walk away especially when the party claims to be winning so hard.

Atleast Justin Amash spoke up. John Mccain spoke up. The bushes spoke up. It’s not enough, of course.

Hi Reddit! We are Aaron Short and Allen Salkin, authors of, The Method to the Madness, a new book about how Donald Trump Became President! AMA!

Westlake Legal Group SlgVGVz8E9a1Nl7kOnDXW0we0ty8jcoBioRbUk8bCVI Hi Reddit! We are Aaron Short and Allen Salkin, authors of, The Method to the Madness, a new book about how Donald Trump Became President! AMA! r/politics

Hi! We are journalists who wrote a unique, non-partisan new book about Trump. We have covered politics and media for Vanity Fair, the New York Times and the New York Post, including writing about Trump and his family. For The Method to the Madness: Donald Trump’s Ascent as Told By Those Who Were Hired, Fired, Inspired — and Inaugurated, we interviewed 114 sources and quote them all by name in telling the story of how Trump was strategic and developed a plan over 15 years to get elected. There was some genius in it. Our book starts in 1999 and ends at the escalator in 2015. Among our book’s revelations are that Trump drank alcohol, used the ‘N’ word in explaining why he would not hire Kwame Jackson in season one of the The Apprentice, was not motivated to run for president simply because Obama insulted him, was never a Democrat, offered Al Sharpton and Rosie O’Donnell big paydays to appear on Celebrity Apprentice, and knew that his treatment of women would be his biggest obstacle Sources range from Katie Couric to Tucker Carlson, Al Sharpton to Steve Bannon along with Roger Stone, Rosie O’Donnell, David Bossie, Michael J. Fox, Sam Nunberg and Glenn Beck. The book has been praised on outlets as diverse as Sinclair’s America This Week with Eric Bolling, and MSNBC’s Morning Joe. We are excited about our great reviews such as: “The Method to the Madness” offers clear insight into the strengths, weaknesses and inner drive of the most unusual man ever to occupy the White House,” Aram Bakshian Washington Times. And “The Method to the Madness is a warning to anybody and all prospective Democratic opponents to President Trump: don’t underestimate this guy, he’s formidable…the list of Trump insiders who cooperated with this book is truly remarkable,” Michael Medved, MedHead podcast. We’ve appeared on CNN’s Reliable Sources. The book was excerpted in Vanity Fair. Allen Salkin’s social is: @allensalkin and Aaron Short’s social @aaronshortstory

Warren: We need to call white supremacy domestic terrorism

Westlake Legal Group qJuW12kD54o3PQJDpDBmZjxubjU9KH1xWpWMrSNA3Cc Warren: We need to call white supremacy domestic terrorism r/politics

Warren was clearly on another level compared to most of those on stage. She was articulate, sounded genuine and smart. I loved when she told the crowd to not laugh, telling the crowd health care and Trump isn’t a joke is exactly what I want to hear.

Bernie was Bernie, I’ve heard it all before, and he seemed to handle the obvious traps CNN was laying on him all night.

The rest of the field was either bad or meh, #3 for me was Williamson tonight. She may have no actual ideas or policies, but she sure knows how to sell bullshit and get a crowd reaction.

Megathread: California governor signs bill requiring presidential candidates release tax returns to appear on ballot

Westlake Legal Group h9f1M8pm6PQgv_5vDoKJtdha0RI2FQwzku05pxEByA4 Megathread: California governor signs bill requiring presidential candidates release tax returns to appear on ballot r/politics

California’s Democratic governor signed a law Tuesday requiring presidential candidates to release their tax returns to appear on the state’s primary ballot, a move aimed squarely at Republican President Donald Trump. But even if the law withstands a likely legal challenge, Trump could avoid the requirements by choosing not to compete in California’s primary. With no credible GOP challenger at this point, he likely won’t need California’s delegates to win the Republican nomination.
